ELABORATION —
• seungdo is a rather interesting kind of guy. he's someone that isn't all too special, but he's also someone who's indescribable when someone asks about him. he's just.... interesting. he's really easy-going, which everyone likes about him because he's like dory and goes with the flow. he's not the type to get mad easily, so he's really easy to be around, and not to mention, he's quite friendly as well. making friends became his forte when he went to high school, and although he only has a few close friends, there are others that call him a good friend (but seungdo just thinks of them as acquiantances, honestly). despite that, it's easy for him to talk to other people and befriend them in an instant because of how relatable he can be. he's also garnered some traits from his mother as well, which you can tell when you see how gentle he is. whether it's a human or animal, seungdo's hands are always warm and his arms are always open for them. he can't hit anyone and is an extreme pacifist. fighting is not his strength at all, and he would always flinch whenever he saw something violent or aggressive happening. when people comment about seungdo, the first thing they always say is that he's rather gentle and whenever he touches anything, his hold is always soft and not firm at all, which feels actually very relaxing and comforting to others. he has a magic touch, honestly. also just like his mother, seungdo's love for others is very strong. he loves his friends and mother fiercely and will do anything for them, even if the request is completely ridiculous. he honestly treasures the close people around him like diamonds, and would always love to stick by their sides for anything.
• seungdo can be a giant air-head though, and always daydreams or says some pretty silly things. he tends to be in cloud 9 a lot of the times and is always zoning out in the middle of class, and also, his responses to questions make people think he has no common sense or any knowledge in his head. blame it on his laziness, but he has never been one to crack open a book and study his, so his knowledge/common sense can be a little lacking. he's also quite feminine, and although that's never bothered him, it bothers all his haters or the people who dislike him. mainly males, they hate the fact that he's so girlish or acts so feminine and that's probably the reason why he's dislikable by a lot of poeple, but he doesn't even give one frick frack about it. although he doesn't care about it, it can honestly be quite detrimental at times. seungdo is on the quieter side of the vocal capacity scale, and whenever he's with a group of people, he doesn't exactly talk that much. he's more of a listener than a conversater, which he's comfortable with, but talking a lot has never been one of specialties. true, he can be friendly, but that doesn't mean he's one to be full on crazy with the conversation. as if it wasn't obvious already, seungdo is extremely lazy and can be comparable to moonri sometimes. the two are just sloths together, and he's the type to always put things off to the last minute. he doesn't like doing work and just getting out of bed is too much for him, but if he cares about you that much, then maybe he'll consider slipping out of bed for you.
BACKGROUND + CURRENT EVENTS —
• seungdo was born to jo haeun and an unknown male after an accidental one night stand. his mother was (believe it or not) quite wild and loved to hit up the clubs with her friends, and after getting a little too drunk one night, a little too much happened, and that's how seungdo came to be. his mother decided to keep him instead of giving him up for adoption because of her caring and gentle nature, and plus, she couldn't bare to leave her son, so he stayed. his early memories consisted of him and his grandmother, who took care of him when his mother was working, until he started the 3rd grade. she had passed away, and seungdo found himself taking care of himself whenever his mother was working, but that's not to say that she was a bad one. he thought she was the best mom in the world. afterall, taking care of a kid like him was rather tiring. ever since he was young, he's had a lazy mentality about school, despite the fact that he's quite quick to learn; it's just that he never had any energy to actually put in effort in his work, so taking the b's weren't that much of a big deal to him.
• he went to middle school at youngil middle school, and although he had a few friends in elementary school, they were all put into other middle schools, and although the first few days were quite lonelisome, he eventually found some friends. although they were good pals, only a few of them stuck in high school, most notably a girl named moonri and a few others. he tends to spend a lot of time with his friends, ignoring school and all that jazz, but despite his lacking work ethic and laziness, he's pretty darn set on becoming a hairstylist, and his mother is supportive of the idea, although she wanted him to become a nurse like her.
SCHOOL LIFE —
• he's a seoul boy and has never gone to school outside of seoul. with that being said, he attended youngil middle school and currently attends seongjuk high school. as far as his grades go, he was never a stellar student and preferred to enjoy life, rather than focus on the books, and honestly, he doesn't even know what he wants to do in life. his grades mostly consisted of b's and the occasional c and he wonders if he'll ever get into a university with those kinds of grades, and after years of pushing the thought of university away, it's come back to haunt him. despite not having the best of grades, he's pretty set on being a hairstylist in the future, and he doesn't particularly mind his marks all too much because when are you going to need history when cutting hair?
• despite that, he's a fairly good student; he shows up to school on time, does most of his homework, doesn't cheat (that much) on tests, etc. he's just a little lazy that's all. a little lazy and always on his phone or daydreaming during class, but he's a good classmate to be around (well, when he's not being a dweeb of course).

RELATIONSHIPS —
• mother - jo haeun (50) - nurse - warmhearted, gentle, submissive, shy - seungdo and his mom have been the best pals since he was born. since she is a single mother, raising him has been rather tough, but she's managed up until now, while balancing her day job as well. despite their fights and arguments, seungdo is eternally grateful for her and honestly does not know where he would be without her and her support. she's basically his pillar in life and he wouldn't have imagined that she was the person he would care about the most in his life. because she's been a main character in his life, he takes a lot of traits from her.
• friend - no moonri (18) - none but occasionally works for her father - easy-going, flexible, lazy, stubborn - sometimes, seungdo is just astounded because he feels like they're the same person. albeit, he doesn't sleep nearly as much as moonri, but he just feels like "wow, moonri and i have so many things in common." that doesn't mean he's crushing on her though; seungdo has always regarded her as someone he could turn to at all times, and he's glad he's got someone like her to rely on.
