APPEARANCE » Kim Sooyun currently has her hair a wavy orange, but it's liable to change at any time. She has a scar on the right side of her face from  childhood incident when she tripped and smashed her face into a vase at three years old. It's roughly half an inch long near her ear, which she usually covers with her hair. She's quite self-concious about it, but she tries to ignore that. She's reached 172 cm and weighs 54 kg.

STYLE » Usually, Sooyun is wearing makeup, no matter where she is. Since she hates her scar, she feels the need to cover it up, but her makeup is never too heavy- She still likes to keep it natural. Sooyun is pretty open to wearing most clothing, especially if it's wine red because she looks ing fabulous in it (As she says all the time), but keep animal prints out of her sight. Animal print is the one thing that she will never wear, even if she, like, gets fired for it. Sooyun's top fashion idol is Naeun of Apink. Do you see that cute sleepy style?! — Kim Sooyun is a very exictable person. Every little thing excites her to no end- Going out to eat, meeing new people, anything and everything makes her happy and squeal-ly. On reality shows she's absolutely charming to everyone when they see how excited she gets. Sooyun is humorous, and her sense of humor expands to everyone- Dry, sarcastic humor, dumb puns, math and science jokes- Basically everything and anything. Sooyun seriously can make anyone laugh with little trouble- She's just that kind of person. She is also quite passionate- Sooyun doesn't give up her dreams for anything, and will do everything she can to make them come true. When she talks about singing and dancing, you know that it's something she really cares about because of the light in her eyes and the strength in her voice. It's quie a different experience when she's talking about being and idol. And it's not just that- She's passionate about school, her friends, love, etc. Sooyun's passions also make her very ambitious. If her brother is an idol, can't she be an even better one?

— She wants to improve her skills and top the rest of the group, she wants to finish college with a 4.0 GPA or higher, she wants to become a household name- And Sooyun will do anything to achieve these dreams. She's imaginative of where she can be in ten years time, and constantly thinks of the future. This girl can dream herself up in anything, and then gets there. Her imagination is her greatest tool, as her grandmother always told her- That, and her ability to adapt to any situation. Sooyun can change her attitude, expression, tone of voice, whatever in a split second to make herself fit whatever situation it is that she's in. She can comform her personality to whatever it needs to be. This girl is quite flirty. It's a natural thing, skinship and suggestive lines. She's known to be the most social with her fans in Aeon, because she has no problem holding their hands, kissing them on the cheek, having half-an-hour long conversations full of sweet, cute lines that can make any guy or girl (And anything in between) swoon.

— It's a natual ability that many people are jealous of. Sooyun is quite eccentric, which tends to weird people out. She has quite off behavior, like practicing dancing at three in the morning, or only eating ice cream if it has strawberry sauce on the side (Not on it- In a little container or bowl that she can sip out of before she /takes a bite out of the ice cream). She's interested in weird things like elephant reproduction ((Please excuse these weird things)) and how ants make their colonies. Sooyun is quite unconventional, which makes her all the more fun. Sooyun is highly unpredictable. You never know if she'll like pasta one day but not the next, or has absolutely random moodswings- Like on the morning she was told she's debuting with Aeon, she was totally happy and excited but then a few hours later she was going to kill whoever spoke to her. But Sooyun can also have the craziest, most fun ideas ever. It's quite interesting, this unpredictability. She's often referred to as a "Wildcard" because you never know what you'll get- So be prepared for a lot of emotions. This girl cries at everything, seriously. Sooyun can't help it, it's just so natural for her.

— Sooyun can easily change her mood depending on one little thing, so she can get a bit troublesome in that aspect. Still, her emotional self is found to be quite endearing to many. Sooyun tends to be a very critical person. She critcizes whatever she sees, no matter who or what it is. She's not afraid to tell people, either. She points out every single flaw, there's no exceptions- Even when it comes to her higher-ups. Sooyun is completely disrespectful and had no thought for authority- She only acts nice in public. This girl is absolutely awful when it comes to repecting people, and adamantly continues her unacceptable behavior- It's a wonder she hasn't been kicked out of school or SM yet. She's very innapropriate, in more ways that one. She makes jokes at the exact wrong times, and it totally erted all the time.

— She's always making really ual jokes, and it's not rare for her to one of her Unnies' for fun because they hate it. She is very untrustworthy- She's not the type to keep secrets unless it's from the internet/netizens/that kind of thing. Sooyung's never been a faithful girlfriend, and you simply can't expect any loyalty from this girl- And it's a direct result of her grandmother's death. After all, why would you be trustworthy when the person you trusted and loved most died on you? She knows it's bad, but she can't help it. Unfortunately, these flaws make Sooyun really unconfident with herself- This girl thinks that she's really not that great, she's unconfident with her abilites, and Sooyun is simpyl afraid she'll be the worst in every situation- After all, isn't her singing simply passable? She doesn't stand out and thus believes she doesn't deserve to believe in herself.

Sooyun tends to sleep late and wake up early.

She's often known as a 4D kind of person~

She seriously would die without her brother, and tells him she loves him every day (Whether it be through text, calls, in person, etc.), and always gets the same in return.

Kibum is always the first person she sends a good morning text to.

She's a total anime junkie, there's no escaping it. The dorm is filled with anime merch.

Sooyun cosplays genderbent Henry from Fire Emblem.

She's a huge Fire Emblem fan, and was one of the fans that didn't mind the changes that were made to the series in Awakening.

She had a huge crush on Jinki when she first met him. It awas really cute back then, and her brother for it a lot. Jinki was a gentleman to her, and would take her out on "dates" to indulge her crush.

Loves honey and puts it in/on everything- Hot tea, cold tea, toast, in marinades, yogurt, on top of ice cream, to dip fruit in, in sandwiches, in coffee, oatmeal, in baking, etc.

She really won't eat ice cream unless she has her little side of strawberry sauce.

Marigolds are her favorite flowers~

She likes getting up early, because the fresh morning air as the sun rises is the best time of the day.

Sooyun is a fan of radio shows, she wants to have her own one day!

She discovered her biuality at twelve, when she made out with a girl in her class during a sleepover. She revealed it to her brother when she was fifteen, and though he got angry at first (Because he was afraid for her future), he let her know that he supported her 100%, and to make sure she really got it, made each SHINee member confess to kissing him- Jinki kissed Kibum when they were drunk, Jonghyun kissed him when they accidentally fell, Minho kissed him for a dare, and Taemin kissed him when he was sixteen to confirm his own biuality. Technically, Sooyun would date anyone regardless of their gender, but she feels more comfortable classifying as bi.

Sooyun is a huge fan of Looney Toons.

She wishes she was better at rapping.

Sooyun owns twin kittens- Ivy (Girl) and Harley (Boy)~

She's ambidexterous- She was originally right handed, but trained herself to write with her left hand because she wanted to be special to make Jonghyun know he's not so special because she was mad at him for scaring her on Halloween three years ago,

Her brother originally wanted to keep her out of the show business life, but he knew that it was something she'd love to do, and thus he let her. Still, he's kept her existence a secret thus-far, not even saying happy birthday on social media.

background » Sooyun grew up raised by her grandmother. Her mother was sick after giving birth to both her and her brother, and her father worked full-time. So in the stead of her parents, her grandmother took the job. She grew up kindly and happily, neither spoiled nor neglected and adored by Kibum. They knew to be respectful (Though Sooyun often no longer takes that lesson to heart), and both had great grades. Sooyun knew she was loved, and she was never made feel like anything otherwise. She grew up unbelievably close to her brother, Kibum, who always took care of her, supported her, and loved her. In elementary school, she was super popular, and was friends with just about everyone. There were few people in school that she didn't know the name of. Middle school was just as great, and her life seemed perfect -And then, suddenly, when Sooyun was thirteen, she moved to Japan to live with her grandmother’s ailing friend. She was very estranged from her classmates, and she only had one shoulder to cry on in Japan- The half Korean, half Japanese woman she was caring for, Tsukiyama Hyeon.

Sooyun adored her just like her grandmother. She even referred to her as Hye halmoni, and still does to this day. Hyeon cared for Sooyun  much like her blood grandmother did, and this girl is eternally grateful. Unfortunately, Hyeon passed away when Sooyun was fiffteen, and after the funeral Sooyun moved back to Korea. Her heart was absolutely broken, and moving in with her parents who were never there wasn't any help. She felt indescribably alone. Sooyun had three months of solid depression, and this was ony broken when her best friends fought, fought, and fought to get through to her. Sooyun went to high school at a public school, where the situation was much like Japan, except people simply weren't used to her anymore. She had only her friends (The few that had stuck with her in Korea while she was in Japan).

Sooyun ended up moving with her best friend to Seoul, that way she could be closer with her brother who had moved there to train and be an idol. Sooyun started spending all of her time with SHINee members, whether her brother was there or not. When she was scouted (With a bit of her brother's help- He may or may not have hinted that there would be some great talent at her school's talent show), everything started looking up. She made her friends, her new school was great- She was happy. But, last year on Kibum's birthday, the one woman that had raised them, who had loved them, passed away. When their grandmother died, Kibum was purely heartbroken, and Sooyun turned to drowning herself in music until she could accept things. It's a scar that will never heal, but it's something that gives her strength as well.

They're totally chill with just sitting around, though Sooyun loves to take care of Hye Su's daughter, JoJo (Her real name is Joeng, but that's what Sooyun calls her).

They have their fights like all siblings dp, but can never stay mad at each other for more than a few hours. Without Kibum, Sooyun would honest die, and without Sooyun Kibum would waste away. It's unbelievable, how upset Sooyun gets if her brother doesn't talk to her for a day- B eit because he's busy (Which is normally the case) or angry. They depend on each other completely, can take one look at each other and know what's going on or what needs to be done- They're always leaning on the other, calling each other every day and texting 24/7.

— It was, surprisingly, a hard desicion for Kibum when Sooyun came home with a card from SM, JYP, and Jellyfish scouts. Yes, he had set it up (Not that told her), but he knew that she would only accept going into SM. He loved his baby sister, and he knew he would be able to take better care of her if she traineed at the same company as him, but the conditions were tough. Yes, it was her dream, and hell she was talented, but it was tough. When he finally allowed her, she was ecstatic. It really was hard, though- Honestly, Hyeon was bullied, being told she only got in because her brother was a seriously-successful idol. She really disgreed, but when the fists came out she always shut and took it, until one day, a year in, Ahn Hyemi stumbled upon the scene of Sooyun getting kicked in the stomach by an older trainee. Hyemi immedaitely put a stop to it, and gave Sooyun a lot of advice on how to stop the bullying while she patched her up. Sooyun was awed by the older girl, and thanked her by taking her out to a meal, but after that time, they simply didn't have a real conversation.

— Taemin is a very childish person. He had to grow up way too fast in the spotlight, so often he acts and complains like a child. He's simply missed out on a lot of things most middle and high schoolers got to do. Despite that, Taemin;s is very grateful for everything he's recieved in life, an dproperly thanks everyone all the time for all they've given him. He's a very stobborn, portective guy, though, so once you befriend him he's never going to let you go. H eloves his friends to death, and whenever a new person comes into their life, he's the first one to yay or nay them. He's often patient, though- A skill acquired through years of being an idol. He doesn't snap easily, and enjoys helping others.
BACKGROUND »
— Taemin and Sooyun met when the whole of SHInee met with her per Sooyun's request shortly after SHInee debuted. It was just before she left for Japan, and she wanted to meet the people who her brother would be forking with for a good portion of his life. Taemin hit it off well with Sooyun due to their similar ages, though Sooyun had the biggest crush on Jonghyun, who would always to make her blush, a few times even taking her out of a "date" since it pleased her so much. Taemin always had a bit of a crush on Sooyun- SHe was always pretty to him, and had great talent- so they were quiete close. Sooyun had originally exchanged numbers with SHInee so she could be instantly alerted if something happened to Kibum, but quickly she simpyl texted them for fun. Taemin always gave Sooyun updates on how her brother's day was going, so she would now what to expect when he called- And thus she was prepared for tears or excitement or rants- which she really appreciated. They simply were in contact all the time, and by the time SOoyun was sixteen, she had a huge crush on Taemin.
THEIR STORY »
— These two are always flirting and talking, no matter what's going on. SHInee could be in Japan, and Sooyun practicing, and she's literally pull out her phone to answer his call while continuing practice. They're totally skin-shippy and go out together (Taemin hidden and Sooyun disguised as a male). They're totally aware of their feelings for each other, but the only problem? Kibum. Taemin literally feels like when he thinks about dating/kissing/sleeping with Sooyun, because isn't that against rule one in the best friend code? Thou shalt not date best friend's sister- Especially his baby one? He feels like he would be an awful boyfriend on top of that, and Kibum would never accept him. Sooyun simply feels guilty for falling in love with someone that her brother cares deeply for. He grew up with Taemin, and watch him mature into the person he is today. Sooyun feels like she's betraying her brother. In truth? Kibum totally supports them. Taemin is one of the few people he would trust his precious baby sister with. His Pumpkin deserves someone as loving, creative, and care-free as Taemin- Someone to do extreme sports with, to love entirely. Though he may threaten to Taemin that he'll kill him if he so much as thinks about his sister romantically, he'll kill him, and though he tells Sooyun that Taemin is a total who isn't wven worth dating, he would never approve and accept it, he's simply waitingfor the two to stand up for themselves and each other.
