Old English; La di dah, duh

“I know it’s a shock but don’t look so down. I’m afraid Yifan will think I have bullied you. You don’t understand how possessive he is. He will throw me out of home if he thinks I am picking on you.”

Would you read a fic with speech like that^ or would it be too hard?

(Not that I plan to change it since it's fun to write this way, but I just wanna know what people think.)

that's not really old english lol (but you should totally write some Shakespearean play)
I like this writing style though~

Old-old written english wouldn't have abbreviations like we have today; it's, I'm etc being examples.
Any form of English is fine by me, so no it's not too hard, hun :)

But if that passage is from the fic itself then I seriously can't wait for it!

when I saw 'Old English' the first thing that came to mind was "Where art thou Romeo?" Lol XD

Bt the passage sounded very comprehensive and understandable to me so go ahead!

Naw that's good. When you said classic time, (and because I didn't scroll all the way), I thought you meant like "thou heart is beating ferociously for thee" or something like that XD
