So I started on a (cringeworthy) fanfic I started and I have no idea how to properly continue it

and I'm running out of books and fanfics (and manga) to read

I wanna write, but I'm not good at writing fiction

this blog is mostly just a rant to myself

I noticed lately that there are a lot of "I'm a nerd and since you rejected me, I'll change to break your heart." I'm not saying these are bad... sure, there are some that are too predictable, but I just thought... "Why don't I try thinking of something 'school nerd' related...?"

so I thought about ways to twist that specific kind of story and make it a bit more fun [if anyone at all is reading this, feel free to voice out your opinion, and tell me if they're cliche or okay]

**I'm going to use random GOT7 members as examples (because I know their names and faces best)

• Jinyoung the nerd confesses to Jaebum but gets rejected and embarrassed. He decides to get a make-over over the summer and try to make Jaebum fall for him and then break his heart, but the plan goes wrong, and Jinyoung falls for a girl in her school who finds out about his plans
• Mark's a quiet nerd that actually isn't a nerd. He looks like a nerd but he's really not. He likes skate boarding, dancing, and other things other guys like, so when his under-classman Yugyeom sees him dancing at a deserted park, he somehow gets dragged into his group of (considerably) popular friends, and other guys see him in a different light, but some people can't let go of the past and insist on keeping Mark in his shell of loner (incorrect grammar, I know)
• Youngjae's a regular student, calling him a nerd would be inaccurate but some people do. So when one of his classmates find out he's actually really talented in singing, his classmate urges him to join the music club but he refuses in fear of being mocked, but after persistence and stalkings, he agrees, and finds himself the lead singer of a pop rock school band to perform on stage carrying the school's name
• Jaebum's a nerd, but a popular one. No one hates him, but no one idolizes him either, so when he gets scouted to be a model, he becomes furious and accuses the man to be scamming him. A few days afterwards, he finds out that the man has a niece who is his classmate and that classmate insists on doing it, and so he does, under the condition that he remains anonymous, but his popularity in modeling is so great that his name gets leaked and suddenly he needs bodyguards just to get him in and out of the house, at least until it all dies down

• jackson secretly hates himself for quitting being a fencer. he believes that he only debuted because the current leader of Monsta X called quits on Got7 at the last minute. He makes several forms of self harm, like cutting, scratching his wrist with bitten nails, pulling his hair, and staying under the bath tub for a long time. but one day, it goes wrong. He's too sad, and he's too drunk, so he ends up in a bathtub with a cutter, cuts a little too deeply and he stays under the water for too long. Mark finds him unconscious and when Jackson wakes up in the hospital, he finds out about what he did and has to be brought back to Hong Kong for a year, but ends up in China with his cousins, and there he reunites with a few old friends and become closer with Luhan, Kris, and Tao of EXO, and MingMing of 17
• what happens if got7 never existed? how would the fangirls live? what if one particular fangirl had got7 trapped in her room, where spells were cast so they couldnt go out and no one could remember them except themselves and her?
• Mark fails miserably at a flip during a performance and lands on his head. Luckily he still lives, but what does everyone, specially the rest of Got7, do when he cant remember anything from taking a flight to korea and onwards? What if he believes he's stuck in his high school self forever? Will he recover?
• BamBam was always overly enthuseastic with everything. What happens when his over-enthuseasm during a private JYPE party ends up with him kissing one of his co-workers cousins, who happens to be a new trainee in JYP?
• Parties are wild.
  Don't go partying, Mark said. Don't drink too much, Mark said. Watch out for cameras, Mark said. Jackson, Yugyeom, and BamBam should have listened to Mark. While Mark, Jinyoung, Youngjae, and Jaebum were either at schedules or staying at home to study, the other three went out to party, and ended up accidentally gate crashing a newly wed mafia boss's after-party club. So now, they're stuck with the possibility of their lives being crushed, and the man's annoying '98-liner niece who happens to be a major Got7 fan.
• die.die.die.die.die.die. Youngjae's eyes are filled with the burning desire to kill.
  His eyes are filled with burning desire to kill whoever lost his precious composition book. He swears he lost it within the campus. He goes investigating around the college for days. He wanted to use that for when JYP finally let him compose songs for their future albums, and now it'scrushed. But right when he's about to give up, one of the girls from his music class give him back his notebook, saying that it was an accident, a mix up, but she had been too afraid to come close to him because of his rage. Youngjae forgives her and they become close and find many similar things about them. College life is nice, Youngjae thinks. It's a great escape from the fame. He feels that he begins to fall in love with the girl and she becomes his inspiration to write, but only that. He refuses to even think of dating her when it's not for his songs, so he keeps his distance at arms length. But why does he feel so pained when she applies to be in SM Entertainment as a singer, leaving him with no time for her and eventually needing to be competitors with each other? He wants to keep her by his side, but doesn't intend to ever date her.
