"Be yourself and don't live by society's expectations" that's what they teach us but they also teach us what to expect on other people, things, places, etc.

What does it convey to you?

For me, actually, I can't specify at the time. There are too many ideas in my mind but at the same time, none. 

This topic was given to us so we can practice for our extempo speech but I can't really think of a definite answer.

The world given to us was pretty simple. Everything we needed was given to us. We have animals as our companion. We have each other for us to be happy. But life is not that simple. 

Life is complicated but easy once we have lived through the rules. 

It is ourselves, the humans, who make our life hard and complicated. We make different rules, we have different perception, we doubt so much, we put standards on almost everything, and so much more. 

This is, of course, only my perception. Only my thoughts, my opinion. 

I feel like there is so much to say but I really can't think of anything right now.
