ㅤㅤTHE WINTER'S ENDㅤ✕ㅤCARSON'S AT THE LODGE.

CARSON LEE
THIS IS THE PART WHERE I SAY  ' I TOLD YOU SO '
I'M NOT DATING A STRANGER.
NAME. Carson James Lee
NICKNAMES.
LEE SEONGHYUN : His birthname. Beyond his family & best friend (established later) no one really acknowledges Carson's korean name.
YANKEE BOY : A nickname Aiden gave to him. When he first met Carson and found out he was from NY, the infamous baseball team was the only thing he could associate with his face. Aiden still calls him this from time to time. Carson doesn't really like the name though.
GENDER. Male
BIRTHDATE & AGE. February 28th & 19

BIRTHPLACE. Busan, South Korea
HOMETOWN. Busan, South Korea (from birth to age 6)
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤNew York, USA (from age 6 to 13)
ㅤㅤㅤㅤㅤto Vancouver, Canada (13 to present)
ETHNCITY. Korean

FACECLAIM ONE.Park Jinyoung from got7
FACECLAIM TWO.Park Jimin from bts
HEIGHT.-178 cm & 5 feet and 8 inches.
WEIGHT. 66kg & 146 lbs.
APPEARANCE. With a well knowing smirk on his face at all times, Carson Lee understands he has that kind of look that mothers' love, girls pretend not to love, and guys sneer at, because he's at that happy medium of being handsome and pretty at the same time. Usually found with his hair cut long enough that it barely peeks over his ears but styled as messy as it is when he first wakes up, Carson generally looks like he's eternally sixteen with his clear skin and innocent doe-like eyes. But anyone that knows him is aware that it doesn't take much to trigger his mischevious side and the the tips of his lips will curve upwards as a flicker of what people think danger looks like grazes his eyes before he goes and well does his thing. Honestly, there's nothing special about Carson's appearance seeing as he's your typical pretty boy korean, but if there was anything notable about him it would be the strange (but addicting) scent he has as he often is described to be smelling like old spice and sweat, probably due to him coming back from the gym or practice.
STYLE. The one thing that Carson is aware about fashion is that he has none. Coming from the perspective and words of Julia Nam, he owns one too many raglan tees and sweatpants for anyone to count, and so its not surprising that he had to enlist the help of her and other female friends to take him out shopping prior to the trip to the mountains. Carson doesn't really care nor have time to worry about his choice of clothing (hence why so many raglans seemingly in all the color combinations anyone can think of) but he does have an affinity for being comfortable in whatever he wears. Specifically for the trip he is usually found in fititng wool sweaters or a tshirt and a cardigan with form fitting dark jeans when they're inside, and puts on a snowboard jacket with a cute knitted beanie when he dares to venture outside (which is going to be often, he swears, he's kinda excited to hit the slopes).
THERE'S A THING CALLED READING.
PERSONALITY TRAITS.
BLITHE : ' Literally the happiest er I've seen, especially in an 8AM class. I don't know how he does it. '
COMPETITIVE : ' His motto should be: dare me once, shame on you, dare me twice, shame on you again '
JOCULAR : ' This has the greatest comedic timing. Such great comedic timing that it's kinda ing annoying '

DESCRIPTION.
In every group, each friend has their own designated role and purpose that benefits the others in some form or way; For Carson Lee he supposes he's the smart that everyone either loves, hates, or just tolerates because he's also the type that is too stubborn to let someone kick him out without a good reason. Dedicating 80% of his life to the art that is the sport of baseball, 10% running his mouth about things that make people smile and laugh, and 10% running his mouth about things that annoy everyone else— 9% being towards Aiden, but it's not like he does it on purpose, or is it
— He is a figure that never stops moving nor stops running for anything but his ambitions and dreams. Carson is just the guy that practically screams ' good times and good vibes ' and is a presence that isn't meant to be ignored. There's something dangerous that is being associated with Carson but no one can really seem to define what that possibly could be. Some suggest its his neverending desire to defy others and prove them wrong, such as getting the group to understand that this trip is a good idea, but others say its because he's actually foolish and he's blinded by the sunshine literally radiating from his with how optimistic he is.

BACKGROUND.
Lee Seonghyun, later renamed Carson James Lee when he immigrated to America with his parents when he was 6 years old, was born to two hardworking fish mongers in a small town within Busan, South Korea. People (usually of Korean decent) would usually tell Carson that coming from Busan would explain why the boy is so easy going and naively happy, seeing as the city is well known for their easy breezy lifestyle by the sea, but he thinks otherwise as growing up with his parents was relatively peaceful and filled with love from the both of them. As their only son, the Lee parents wanted to make sure that Carson was going to have a better life than either parent had at the time, thus the decision to uproot their small family to the land of the free only made sense in trying to make that goal come true. Mr. Lee found himself a job as a fish monger in the streets of New York's Chinatown and Mrs. Lee worked two jobs as a seamstress and a bank teller all for the purpose to send Carson to a private institution to craft him into a scholar, hoping one day he would turn his knowledge into power as a doctor, engineer or lawyer as most parents would hope for their children. However, the school only benefitted him in terms of introducing the boy to the all american sport of baseball and dreams he could only chase in his sleep. As much as he wanted to study hard to achieve the goals his parents had set for him to reach, he couldn't pull himself away from the adrenaline rush of players dramatically sliding bases, seeing a pitcher strike out his opponent, and the star batter hitting one homerun after another. Long story short, by the age of 10 and having gone to at least 3 Yankee's games with Mr. Lee and Carson, Mrs. Lee knew she wasn't going to see her son graduate with a 'Dr.' in his title and didn't mind the idea of her son potentially be on a box of cereal if he did make it to the major leagues.

When Carson was 13, his parents moved from the land of the free to the land of maple syurp and moose (meese? moosi? the proper name of multiple moose still boggles his mind to this day), because living in the city that never sleeps costed more than a family who sold fish and sewing dresses together could ever be able to afford. Originally living with his extended family until the Lee's were able to afford a nice little home, Carson tried his best to study hard in high school enough for him to achieve some kind of sports scholarship and recognition to be potentially scouted for a baseball team (American or not, it didn't matter really), but after meeting his neighbors— a charming couple that had a pair of twins, one that smiled brighter than the sun and the other frowning as wide as a full moon— he knew he was going to have a harder time doing so if he wasn't already distracted being their friend. Knowing the twins was the best and worst thing that could happen to him because being around them and their slowly growing group of friends was the perfect place for him to exercise his originally untouched humor and bright personality, but knowing how influential (mostly Julia) and intelligent (mostly Aiden) they were often intimidated him and made him rethink his priorities in life. But nevertheless, Carson, the tiwns and their friends continued to live life being friends and struggling through school to achieve their goals and dreams like any other teenage on the planet earth.

Present day, as a first year university student that has a scholarship for sports and is studying mechanical engineering (to the delight of his mother), Carson is still the same baseball-crazed fan and bright spirit amongst the friend group. When news filled his ears of a free trip to the notorious Blackwood Mountain most of Carson's thoughts were filled with excitement over finally going somewhere to relax and breathe after a particularly harsh semester, mostly consisting of frustration that he coudln't train as normal due to a recent accident where his arm was fracture due to a minor accident. When discussing the opportunity to the younger Nam twin— whom he talked to more than the elder because of their studies— he was reminded of the dark history and suspicion the trip had for the group, but thanks to the ever passionate Julia he had also felt a resurgance of positivity over the potential of the trip for the benefit of the group's friendship and supported the elder twin's argument and encouragment for everyone to attend the free trip, unaware of what it would bring to all of them.

TRIVIA.
GENERAL LIST OF LIKES : the colors blue and black, baseball— duh, dogs over cats, fixing things himself (both physically and psychologically), comedy over horror, girls and boys (he hates labels but he guesses he can be called biual), italian food, exercising except for leg day, making jokes, competitions (eating is his number one thing he can win), and more.

GENERAL LIST OF DISLIKES : the color red, loud sounds, the sight of blood, cats over dogs, leg day, horror movies and stories, kimchi (he's a horrible korean, don't let anyone know), cleaning, the word 'no', extreme temperatures (boiling hot weather and below freezing weather), and more.

MAJOR LEAGUE BASEBALL STAR : It was covered briefly but a classmate in the private school Carson attended back in New York was the person responsible for introducing the boy to the sport of baseball. After showing off the baseball cards he collected, including a treasured Willie Mays and Babe Ruth, and explaining the game in full detail Carson was immediately hooked. From that day on he spent his nights (after finishing his homework, of course) watching baseball games on the small TV he had in his room and taking note of the techniques players would use and be completely engrossed in the passion of the game. Before moving to Canada, his family attended three yankee's games and Carson managed to play the game casually with the neighborhood kids before being allowed to play on the school's team when he was 10. Though he knows the chances of him being officially scouted for a professional team are very low, considering his race and location, he still plays the game with much dedication and vigor and proves to be a very good player. He's known for being a powerful pitches but he is very good at defense as a catcher.

HIS ACHILLES HEEL : At the beginning of his freshman fall term of university, Carson had gotten into a minor car accident and fractured his arm, rendering him useless for the beginning of training season for baseball players (they don't play until the Spring). By December and prior to the trip his arm is almost fully healed but he occasionally wears a brace when the pain resurges during really cold weather which is basically all the time seeing that he lives in Canada.

✕ SOCIAL MEDIA  : As sociable as he is, being one to thrive in big groups and wanting to make everyone laugh, he really is bad at all things social media. His twitter account is bare, he rarely posts on instagram unless its the occasional selfie-#latergram party group pic-foodstagram post, and dont' get me started about his facebook account. He's kinda the last one to know about anything related to gossip but he really doesn't care.

✕ DARE ME ONCE, SHAME ON YOU, DARE ME TWICE, SHAME ON YOU STILL  : God this boy and dares. As a competitive nut and never one to let anyone down, people are told to never test the boy and his ability to do anything that is suggest that he can't do. He's done the most outrageous dares from jumping into freezing water to asking the class loser out on a date (and enjoying it because he was sweet, he'll admit). He has a burning spirit when it comes to winning and being right and it's said that his voice haunts people when the words 'I told you so' are uttered.

IS THIS A TEST? YES? NO?

LETS START SIMPLE AGAIN, WHAT DO YOU FEAR MOST?WHAT DO YOU DESCRIBE YOURSELF AS? CAUTIOUS OR RECKLESS?
' People expect me to be the kind to be really reckless because of my mouth ' he shrugs in acknowledgement, ' but I'm actually really cautious. Kind of that obnoxious person that has to look both ways before crossing the street - kind of cautious '

WHICH DO YOU PREFER MORE? LOYALTY OR HONESTY?
' As grandma would say in a horrible english accent: Honesty is the best policy '

OKAY.. HONESTY OR CHARITY?
' I'd still choose honesty. I don't need people to give me charity when I don't know if they're genuine about it. '

WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ABOUT THE TRIP? DID YOU WANT TO GO? DID YOU PLAN IT?
' For being stuck studying for finals in my room for the past two weeks, I thought it was kind of a great idea. But then after I talked to Aiden about it he kind of made me want to think twice ' he pauses for a dramatic effect but continues, ' but I mean then you look at Julia and you can't help but go, yeah that sounds like a good idea. ' he recites in a high tone, seemingly mocking the elder Nam twin, ' So yeah, I wanted to go. I really had no expectations on what to bring or anticipate since this was brought up so suddenly, but they say the best things come unexpectingly. '

YOU SEE A PERSON GETTING MUGGED. WHAT DO YOU FOCUS ON FIRST?
' Probably the direction of where the mugger could go, so I can run over and keep them from running in that direction '

HOW DO YOU THINK YOU GOT THE MAIL?
' Hmm, I always just assumed one of the bunch of us (that wasn't me, obviously) had just randomly entered themselves and us in thinking we'd have no chance, but I mean here we are. On our way to having a vacation in a seemingly creepy spot, but it's for free, right? '

IF YOU WERE STRANDED ON THE MOUNTAIN WITH ONE ITEM, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
' ' he curses and gives an innocent look at the interview— silently apologizing for the sudden profanity, ' well, if anything, probably a pack of matches. Y'never know when you won't be able to see anything or need a little heat in your life. ' he clicks his tongue and winks.

DID YOU LOOK INTO THE MOUNTAIN'S HISTORY?
' Mom always taught me to always be prepared... but I got lazy and forgot to check before we left. '

WOULD YOU SACRIFICE YOURSELF FOR SOMEONE OR SACRIFICE SOMEONE ELSE FOR YOURSELF?
' Hold up, you're gonna have to go a little slower there. I couldn't understand you for a second. '
he laughs to himself before answering, ' I think I'd be the type to actually sacrifice someone else for myself, rather than the other way around. As much as I want to be that hero, I know that I'd be compulsive and run away, hoping for the best for the person that needs to be saved. '

LETS START SIMPLE AGAIN, WHAT DO YOU FEAR MOST?
' Fear? pfft. God you're asking me what i fear the most? ' he snorts trying to play off the question as if it was a joke, ' I don't know, I'm kind of scared of a lot of things. But what I fear the most? Probably anything covered in blood. People, knives, myself. If its red, wet and kind of warm I just— nope. '

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF PEOPLE WHO ARE AFRAID?
' It's natural and I'll admit that I'm one to be easily afraid of things. If someone is afraid then that means they accept the reality of the situation rather than deny its existance. '

DO YOU THINK PITY IS GOOD OR BAD?
' Pity is never good. It doesn't even sound like a good word so it doesn't have much meaning to have a good connotation. '

IS LOVE YOUR TOP PRIORITY IN THIS TRIP? IF NOT, WHAT IS?
Mayhaps ' he says in a sly tone, wiggling his eyebrows, ' I may have someone in my eye that I've been needing to confront all this time, but haven't had the chance to because of unfortunate circumstances aka school. I didn't expect someone to ask me about this so I hope you won't tell anyone about this. '

WHICH IS MORE IMPORTANT, DEFENSE OR OFFENSE?
' Considering that I'm a baseball player, technically offense sounds more important because the more you bat the better chances are that  you'll win, but the reality is that defense is the key to success. Sure, you can hit all you want, but to make the game progress you have to keep people from scoring the points, whether it be throw balls to cause them to strike out or catch their hits so they can't reach bases and get called out. '

SADLY, WE REACHED TO THE END OF THIS INTERVIEW. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?
' Oh, that's sad. This interview was interesting but it's memorable. You've kind of made me a little worried that I didn't do my homework but I'll probably ask Aiden for more details later so I'm not completely out of the loop. Have a good day, okay? I'll make sure to make use of my time here! ' he smiles naively, unknowing whats to come in his future.
tHE END ALREADY?
COMMENTS. Honestly I don't know anything about baseball, but Junior looks like a baseball fan (a fact that I can't confirm becuase I'm not too in deep with got7). Anyways, I write too much (as evidenced by my description and background) and I'm not even sure if I wrote any of it correctly but I'm in love with the concept of this story. I tried my best to sprinkle Aiden and Julia equally in this app but I think there's more of a bias of one sibling over another BUT IT ISN'T INTENTIONAL I SWEAR. Anyways i HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOY AND DON'T TEAR MY BB CARSON UP TOO MUCH, OK? THANKS 4 READING!!1!1
QUESTIONS. can i just coddle julia and aiden for a little bit? please? no? ok.
SCENE REQUESTS. pLease incorporate the arm injury for Carson? he doesn't like to admit he's a gimp, but he kinda is.
