amelia is one who's known to be very supportive, always uplifting people around her when they're down and she's the one who's there to led a shoulder when they need to cry. she's the one to go to when you need to rant, and she'll just listen because that's what you need her for. she won't give advice, since she isn't too good at that, but she'll definitely let you use her as a stress reliever. she's also very helpful, always opting to show people around if they're new or willingly answering all the questions you ask her. she hates seeing people struggle, so if she can help fix it, she's all for it. need dancing lessons or a few pointers? she's your girl. english homework? she's got it. need an explanation for anything? just ask her. amelia is always open to clearing up confusion. she always knows what to do in almost any situation, too, since she's such a quick thinker. great at figuring out puzzles and coming up with ways to get out of sticky problems, always being one step ahead somehow. amelia is a great guesser because of this as well. she's normally the life of the party, too, having a great sense of humor and finding ways to make many things seem hilarious. maybe it's the way she says it, or the mannerisms she uses. or maybe it's just simply her laugh. her loud, high pitched laugh that's always the loudest in the room. either way, people are normally laughing around her.

unfortunately, everyone has their bad parts. one of amelia's is being very competitive. she takes everything too seriously, even little games like rock, paper, scissors. she gets a little angry whenever she loses, and one of these days, someone is going to get hurt while playing against her. somewhat tying into this, she's way too hard on herself. if she loses, she starts picking out little things that she could've changed to win, or if she gets a bad grade, or if she keeps messing up a certain dance note, or her voice cracks too much. it all results in her thinking it was all her fault and that she's a bad person. amelia is very anxious, meaning she gets anxiety about almost everything. her mind automatically thinks of the most worst possible outcome and sticks with it, and so she's afraid to do a lot of things. it takes a really strong push (but at the same time, gentle) from the right people to talk her into things. only a few selected people can probably do this. she's also very emotional, which is probably because of how hard she is on herself and out anxous she gets, so she cries a lot. she's prone to depression, basically. random moments out of the day she'll suddenly get sad and start thinking of everything that can just make her breakdown. amelia normally cries alone, because she's too scared that she'll be a burden. if you're lucky enough to be there to comfort her, then you must be special.

+ BACKGROUND being born and raised in london, amelia grew up with only her father. her mother died when she was only a year old, due to a shooting at the place she attended collage. since then, her father had to step up to the plate. he never remarried, either. amelia had always loved dancing and music, something that she had apparently picked up from her mother. her dad enrolled her in all types of dance classes by the time she was 3 and it's all she's really known. once she learned her mom was a dancer, she made sure she'd continue it, wanting to follow in her mother's footsteps. singing wasn't always something she'd thought about doing, but she would always find herself humming along to songs on the radio. when she turned 10, her dad got a job offer that was all the way in south korea. amelia was very quickly going to reject, until she learned they were moving to busan, where her grandparents lived, which meant she'd get to learn more about her mother since she never met her. she took every chance to get to know her mom since she never could.

when amelia was 12, just two years after she'd moved, she was scouted by a jyp agent, as she was leaving her dance practice (something she definitely continued after moving). her father strongly objected to her doing the audition, since she was so young at the time, but amelia pleaded. she could finally fulfill her mother's dream! well, of course, it was her dream, too, but that wasn't what she used against her father to convince him to let her go. once her mother was brought up, her father knew there was no telling her otherwise. after training at jyp for two years, amelia decided to leave the company in september of 2010. the reason being that she was supposed to debut in miss a, and she felt like it would be a very long time before her next opportunity came. why wait in the same place that entire time, if that were the case? she trusted her instinct and moved on. cs entertainment was her next stop, after a few months of rest. in december of the same year, she attended an audition, and she managed to pass on the first try, since she had an advantage of training for two years before. even though she knew she still had a long way to go, she felt like cs was definitely the place to stay this time.

kunpimook bhuwakul (bambam) / 18 / best friend / got7 member (they met when amelia was still a trainee under jyp. she only trained with him for a couple months before she left, but they still kept contact. at first it was hard for them to communicate since bambam didn't know any korean yet and she didn't know thai, but they managed with sign language. she also helped him learn most of the korean he knows today. if she were still under jyp, they'd be inseparable)

mark tuan / 22 / best friend / got7 member (he was another person she met while at jyp, and also didn't train with for long, but they still kept contact since they both knew english and mark needed help learning the basics of korean. he's another person she helped with the language. these two often go to each other to complain about things but they also hang out together in a comfortable silence. just when they want to be around someone but not really talk)

lee sunmi / 23 / friends / wonder girls member (again, they met while amelia was at jyp. sunmi had already debuted by the time she came to the company, but she liked to come by the trainee practices sometimes to see how everyone was doing. that was how they met, a few months after amelia joined. at the time, being a foreigner in korea was a big deal, so when sunmi saw her, she had to walk over and see where she was from and stuff like that. they seemed to hit it off, and ever since, they've been friends)

park jinyoung / 21 / love rival / got7 member (they trained with each other for a while at jyp, since he joined only a year after she did. ever since the beginning, amelia has had the biggest crush on jinyoung, and everybody knows it. everybody but jinyoung. he sees amelia as a little sister and nothing more, but if that's the only way she can stay close to him, then so be it. she'd rather not ruin their friendship anyway)

bae suzy / 20 / rival / miss a member (these two used to be friends during amelia's time at jyp, but when it was announced that the new and up coming girl group in the company, miss a, was looking for new members to join, they both jumped at it and that was when whatever friendship that had was lost. amelia was too competitive and suzy was too proud, so when suzy was picked over her, all she could do was gloat. that might be another reason she left jyp, she just couldnt' take suzy's attitude anymore. amelia has made sure to not pay any mind to suzy ever since, wanting to ignore any disagreement, but that might change now since amelia has another chance to debut)

she has anemia, which she discovered when she was 15. if she overworks herself, she could easily faint, which has happened a few times already.

for the most part, she's friends with all of got7, but she's closest with mark and bambam.

she got her first ear piercings when she was 2, her second lobes at 8, and her third lobes at 9. the double cartilage piercing she got when she was 14, and the tragus when she was 16. her tongue piercing is the most recent, as it was an 18th birthday present.

she's an only child

because of her anxiety, she's scared of things like roller coasters and she refuses to go on any. she's also scared to dye her hair since she's afraid something with go very wrong.

guns are a sensitive subject to her since that's how her mom died.

she's a carbon copy of her mother in terms of looks, and she's afraid she won't be able to live up to her mom. even though she never met her, she cherishes her mom a lot. her mom is the person she looks up to.

isla was the first person amelia met at cs. literally on the first day, which was thankful so she didn't get lost in the big company building.

she eats when she's stressed or nervous about something.

she always worries that when she first meets someone, they'll automatically hate her, so because of this, she has a hard time making friends unless they approach her in a calm manner.

the thing that she's very insecure about is her singing, which is exactly why she gave it up and switched to rapping instead. she feels like her voice will never be good enough for it, and she absolutely hates singing in front of people that she isn't comfortable enough to be with. if she gets asked, she flat out rejects it.

+ PERSONALITY jaebum seems like a cold person on the outside, but he's really not. he's actually really sweet, always attempting to take care of those he cares about. sure, sometimes he can be a, "big, scary leader," but that's only when he needs to be. he's really good at making you feel safe, and protected, and secure, and he's the one to go to if you ever need advice. he silently watches on the sidelines, and he's ready to jump in if things get nasty. im jaebum, amelia's guardian angel (fun fact, that's her actual nickname for him).
+ 1ST MEETING & INTERACTIONS the first time they met was the same time she met jinyoung. the two of them had joined at the same time, so the jj duo stuck together. they were put in the same class and had lessons together, and their teacher paired them up in a group for a project. jaebum was a rebel back then, so he wan't really doing anything and amelia was really confused. why audition if you were just going to sit back and do nothing? that was the one time she sat back and did nothing as well, opting to sit back and observe the teenager next to her. all three of them got in trouble, and the young, angry jaebum went to yell at amelia for getting them all in trouble instead of just him, but he couldn't. so instead he yelled at jinyoung for allowing her to sit back and do nothing. ever since then, she hung around them because jinyoung kept inviting her everywhere (and of course she agreed every time because of her crush on jinyoung), and jaebum slowly began to become protective of her.

their interactions are rather adorable. he likes to feed her a lot and just care for her in general. he's like this everyone he's close to (so, got7 and his family), but with her it's like... he's a little more... delicate. like he's afraid she'll break or run away. jaebum is always there for her when she has one of her breakdowns and he's always the first one she calls for anything. he drops everything and comes rushing to her aid every time. amelia often sneaks over to see him at night, either when she wants to get away or if she needs comfort, or even if she just wants to see him. they're always there for each other, no matter what.
