Appearance: She has a thin, long scar across her back that is barely visible, and appears as a thin, silvery line under bright light.

Fashion: Haneul has a very femine style, which often causes others to underestimate her abilities as they see her as a fragile maiden that needs protecting. She likes to wear bright, pastel-coloured or floral dresses, reflecting her cheerful and optimistic personality. She believes that the world they live in is depressing enough, and wants to brighten it up a little even through something as small as clothing. On the battlefield, she opts to wear leggings under her skirts or dresses.

My Life Story✖

Background: Haneul is a descendant of a well-known Japanese mafia Kogoshi Kasai (Celestial Fire). A few generations before she was born, one of the then-current leader's many sons visited Korea and fell in love with the country, thus staying on and taking on a Korean name. With permission and resources from his father, he created a branch of Kogashi Kasai in Korea, named Cheonsang Hwajae (also translates to Celestial Fire), and till today, it is an influential but secret and hidden mafia, with not many knowing of its existence. Though Cheonsang Hwajae has connections to Kogoshi Kasai, they do not take orders from the latter but are on friendly, communicative terms. The values of Kogoshi Kasai were also brought over, which emphasised righteousness, justice, and giving to the poor. As such, they were similar to Robin Hood, in the sense that they stole from the rich and corrupt, and gave to the poor. Over the years though, both Cheonsang Hwajae and Kogoshi Kasai have amassed their own wealth, which they used to develop new weapons and conduct research on their own so that they are better able to deal with the advancements of the corrupt.

Haneul's father is the current mafia leader, and though he is loving and caring to his children and people, he places the safety of the mafia over everything and everyone else, except for perhaps his wife. This is because he believes in the mafia's ability and responsibility to help the poor and oppressed, and that if Cheonsang Hwajae is gone, the only people left in power would be the corrupt, like the CHI CLAN. When the CHI CLAN first revealed itself, Cheonsang Hwajae pledged itself to fighting them, and as such often fights alongside Silver Blood, and have an unofficial alliance with them, often supplying them with weapons and high technology stuff which they can afford. The CHI CLAN, though, never knew about Cheonsang Hwajae's existence, and as such, when they first wiped out the first Silver Blood, Cheonsang Hwajae was left totally unharmed. This was also in part due to the original leaders keeping their existence secret even unto their deaths, and as such, many of the new Silver Blood are suspicious and skeptical of the mafia group, though to be fair to them, the latter did not know of Silver Blood's annihilation until it was too late.

In Cheonsang Hwajae, both men and women learn medicine and healing (basic medicine for men), and men how to fight, though sometimes a few women choose to learn how to fight as well. Many of the warriors who have children often commit them to the mafia as well, seeing the mafia's objective as something noble and worthy to fight for. As such, many warriors grew up in Cheonsang Hwajae, and have been training since young. Haneul and her siblings were no exception though they were loved dearly by their parents, and often saw their parents' stricter sides in training.

Being the oldest of five siblings, Haneul was often entrusted with the task of looking after her siblings. One day, when she was 8, she took them out into the countryside to play, thinking that it was safe since they had not heard any news of fighting for a long time. Unfortunately, they encountered a group of CHI CLAN soldiers, who tried to kill them. Fortunately, some of the Cheonsang Hwajae warriors were nearby, and hearing their frightened cries, came to their rescue before any harm could befall them. They defeated the CHI CLAN soldiers and won the battle, but as they retreated, one of the soldiers swung his katana at a young warrior who had let his guard down. Haneul, having seen the soldier's actions, leapt to defend him, and ended up being hurt instead. Though she wasn't in any serious danger at that time, she sustained a long cut across her back from the blade, resulting in the scar on her back that she now has today.

After witnessing the CHI CLAN's ruthlessness, Haneul resolved to join the battle and stop them as well. Though she wants to protect the people from the CHI CLAN's evil ways, more than not, she wants to protect her siblings from being hurt the same way she had been in that battle. She trained for 5 years with Cheonsang Hwajae, learning both medicine and how to fight with a gun, before her father sent her and a few others to help the new Silver Blood, as an apology and a way to make amendments for their past oversight. Though she is good in both healing and fighting, she is not exceptional in either one of them as her time is split between both, instead of concentrating on just one like many others do.

Personality:

Innocent, Naive and Caring - Due to her young age, Haneul is still a very innocent and naive girl. Despite having seen the atrocities of humans and their world, Haneul still likes to believe in the good of people, and feels that people have a good reason to do the things they do, even if they are evil things. That doesn't mean, however, that she won't fight to protect those who are being attacked and victimized, and for her loved ones. She simply acknowledges that not everyone is who they are on the outside, and that people can put on masks to hide their weaknesses inside. As such, she is also a very non-judgemental person, and always takes time to get to know others and not jump to conclusions about them. However, this can sometimes lead her to be taken advantage of.

Loud, Cheerful and Optimistic -  Haneul is a very hyper, very cheerful and very optimistic person, and likes to bring happiness to others, and know that in some small way, she can do that by being cheerful herself. She can bring a smile easily to others through her words and actions, and is the motivator in the team even when things are not looking good. Even her friends and family know her as the little sunshine, and acknowledge her as the best person to make others happy. However, sometimes, she doesn't know what to do when a person is sad because of a death or a serious issue. She doesn't want to come across as insensitive, and as such, can be a little awkward in such situations and often looks to her seniors for help.

Gullible - Because of her naviety, Haneul can be overly trusting at times. She often gets into trouble due to trusting the other party too much, whether it is a small issue such as being cheated out of her money, or getting herself kidnapped. She is good enough at getting out of situations with the enemy though, as they often don't see her as a threat due to her age and petite size and end up underestimating her and her strength (well, she has to have strength to carry around guns). If she gets cheated or scammed, she brushes it off easily as money isn't an issue to her (Cheonsang Hwajae is rich, after all) and treats it as a blessing to the other person, though she often ends up getting scolded by her seniors or superiors instead.

Easily Distracted and Disorganised - It isn't because of laziness that Haneul is disorganised most of the time, but because she gets distracted easily and forgets about what she was doing at a certain point of time. Because she is still pretty much a child at heart, she has a rather short attention span with issues not related to fighting or healing. She could be doing something and then suddenly stops to admire flowers or a butterfly, or to play a small game with a child, and forget about what she was supposed to do. Though it can be extremely exasperating to her superiors at times, they don't really have the heart to scold her for that as well, as they still see her as a child (something that she hates to admit), and want to preserve her innocence and child-like nature in this corrupted world as much as possible. Her healing abilities have been cast in doubt multiple times before due to this absent-minded trait of hers, but those who have known Haneul long enough know that when she is either fighting or healing, her mind is 100% focused on the task, due to her desire to protect people from evil.

✖My Heart Beats for Him✖

260x180260x180260x180

  • Name: Usui Takumi
  • Age: 18

How You Met Him: Takumi and Haneul first met on the battlefield against the CHI CLAN when they were both 12 and 8 respectively. He was part of the patrol that had fought off the CHI CLAN soldiers who had attacked Haneul and her siblings, and the warrior that she had subsequently defended from the CHI CLAN soldier. As it had been his first actual battle since he was apprenticed, he was lacking in experience and as such, let his guard down too early while the CHI CLAN was still retreating. He blames himself for the incident, and has always felt both grateful and guilty towards Haneul ever since that day. Takumi resolved to become one of the best warriors ever, and to make sure that no harm would ever befall Haneul again. As such, when news broke that Haneul and a few other warriors were to be sent to Silver Blood to assist them, he requested her father in private to send him as well, as he knew about Haneul saving his life. Takumi was given permission, and entrusted with the task of protecting the leader's daughter personally.

Interaction: Despite their history, Haneul does not know that Takumi is actually the young boy she saved 6 years ago, though he had been keeping an eye on her, whether it was while she was training in Cheonsang Hwajae or in Silver Blood. As such, she treated him like any normal Cheonsang Hwajae warrior, and he likewise to her, although throughout their stay with Silver Blood, she had grown closer to the warriors that had accompanied her. To Haneul, she doesn't know how to place Takumi, whether as a fellow warrior, bodyguard, or a friend, and finds him a confusing mix of all three. In the presence of others, they behave professionally towards each other, but when they are alone, they become more of friends, with him teasing her occasionally and her getting annoyed by him. He is always worried when she is sent out on missions without him, and if possible, would try to follow her secretly, and if not, he would mope around worrying about her and rush to check on her well-being when she returns, though he has never let her, or others, see the extent of his concern.

My Weapon✖

How does it look like:
Do you have two or just one?: I have a 2-in-1 gun. The Mark 14 Enhanced Battle Rifle (EBR for short) is a smaller, highly customised rifle that can be carried around, and is usually the weapon that I use when travelling around. It has lighter firepower, but a faster rate of fire. Due to its small and compact size, it can be easily hidden so that it wouldn't arouse suspicion from enemies. I can choose to use it with or without a scope or stand depending on the situation, to be more accurate in shooting or to stabilise my aim, so I can adapt to different situations easily. However, when massive firepower is required, I can convert my battle rifle to a sniper rifle, the PGM Hecate II (Gun Gale Online anyone? xD) which is a heavy sniper rifle that I usually use for massive, large-scaled battles.
Do you have any experience?:(Same as above)
Why did you chose this Weapon (or plotline?): (same as above)
Signature Move? What is it?: No signature move =(
Any new High Tech Thing with your Weapon?: I can convert my rifle either way (to a battle rifle or sniper rifle) by pressing a button near the back of the rifle.

Yes! I'm Done!

Last words?: Okay firstly, I'm not sure if you're okay with the existence of another organisation fighting against the CHI CLAN, so do let me know if it's not okay with you and I'll ammend it ><
If you are okay, I have two requests:

1) I'd like for her to be closest to Raein and most scared of Rae in Silver Blood. Reason being that she is a long-ranged shooter like Raein and can learn a lot from her, and she sees her as an older sister she'd never had, and Raein sees her as a younger sister she'd never had too. Their similarity in surnames doesn't help either xD And she's scared of Rae due to her weapon, which is the katana, seeing as her first injury had been from a katana. But she'll probably get over it in the story I think? That's up to you haha.
2) And this is optional, but I was thinking of a love triangle between Haneul, Takumi, and the CHI CLAN soldier that had injured her (ooooh drama~). Who you want it to be is up to you, unless, of course, you want me to come up with it instead ^^
Thanks, and I hope you get another applicant soon T-T
