Appearance: She has long, dark auburn hair and cat-like, very dark amber eyes which often astonish people when they notice the different colour of her eyes. She also has a rather petite build (163cm and 45kg) and seems to be fragile, and is often underestimated because of that, which her opponents and enemies greatly regret afterwards. She also likes to leave her hair down, but when they get in the way, she likes to tie it up in a bun like this.

Fashion: Raein's fashion is very simple and practical. She prides herself on her stealth and agility, and feels that bright-coloured or flashy clothes would ruin her stealth. As such, she prefers dark-coloured and plain clothing, without any flashy metal or anything of that sort. Most of the time, she wears black leggings with a simple dark-coloured shirt or top, which won't get in the way of her fighting. In colder weather, she would either wear a long-sleeved shirt or put on a coat or long shawl draped around her body securely. She also likes to wear soft boots padded with fur as they feel more comfortable, which she also hides a strapped and sheathed dagger in, just in case. She also likes to wear fingerless gloves to allow for firmer grip on her weapons.

My Life Story✖

Background: Raein's family was one of the lucky few to escape the CHI CLAN initially without any casualties. Her mother had passed away from illness when she was at a young age. Her father was a great swordsman who served the Silver Blood before it was annihilated for the first time, but he managed to escape along with his two children, who knew nothing of his involvement with the Silver Blood and the war against the CHI CLAN. At that time, Raein and her older brother were still young teenagers. Her older brother Jiwan was taught by her father how to fight with a sword, and he became a good swordsman as well. Raein wanted to learn as well, but her father didn't like the idea of her being in battle, and thus, forbid her to learn. She begged her brother to teach her secretly, and having a soft spot for his sister, he agreed and trained her in secret. Of course, she would never be as good as her brother because she didn't have as proper a training as he did, and she didn't have the same strength as him to properly wield a sword. But she tried her best, and managed to master decent sword skills at least.

During one such secret training, the son of her neighbours chanced upon them and watched how Raein struggled with the sword. Even though they had never spoken to the neighbours before, Sunggyu came up to them and recommended that Raein learn how to use the bow and arrows, as well as close combat with smaller weapons such as the short sword or the dagger, as she was struggling with big weapons due to her smaller size. Though Raein flared up at him initially for 'insulting' her, she took his advice and began to learn how to use the bow as well as close combat skills from him. She practiced hard and excelled at the bow, becoming so familiar with it that it almost seemed like an extension of her body, rather than just a weapon. Eventually, she was able to shoot targets even with her eyes closed, thanks to her training from Sunggyu, who also trained her in her five senses so she could pinpoint the accurate locations of targets without even seeing them.

Unfortunately, years later, fate finally caught up with them and the CHI CLAN attacked their area once again. This time, her family wasn't quick enough to escape, but Raein and her brother were able to take down the few CHI CLAN warriors that had entered their house, though not fast enough to prevent the fatal blow to her father. As he lay dying, he told Raein how he was awed by her skill, and apologetic for having had refused to train her. He also told them of his involvement in the Silver Blood, and with his last breath, he gave Jiwan his sword, Raein his silver bow, and told them to rid the world of the CHI CLAN who had brought so much suffering to the world. As the remaining CHI CLAN warriors arrived, the two siblings fled the place, and began to live as wanderers, fighting the CHI CLAN and protecting those who suffered from them with fierce vengeance, with the memory of their father deep in their hearts and minds.

During one such attacks against the CHI CLAN, she and her brother came across the new Silver Blood. Initially wary of them, they were convinced to join after seeing that their mission was similar to the first Silver Blood and theirs.

Personality:

Loyal, Protective & Determined: Loyalty is without a doubt Raein's strongest trait. She can always be depended on to have your back, and always keeps to her word. She would rather go down fighting than surrender to her opponent, and is very determined in fighting to win, especially against her enemies. Thus, when her loyalty is betrayed, she can become very vengeful. She is a kind and compassionate person, and always helps out other people. She also sees it as a duty to protect those that are unable to protect themselves. As such, she would not hesitate or be afraid to fight for them and her loved ones. After her father's death and seeing how people in the world suffer due to the CHI CLAN, she became even more determined to rid the world of the terrible group of people.

Quiet, Observant & Calm: Raein isn't someone who speaks a lot, and rather prefers to remain silent and observe and analyze her situation. As such, Raein can remain cool and composed even during critical situations is another one of her strong points. She is able to keep her emotions under control during such situations and think of solutions. Other people are often shocked by how calm she can be, and sometimes even mistake her calmness for lack of concern. However, to Raein, what is important is to resolve the current issue rather than react to it.

Straightforward & Blunt: When Raein does speak, she is very straightforward and blunt, and speaks whatever is on her mind. She feels that in battle, anything can mean life or death, and there is no time to beat around the bush. This can be both a good and bad point, good because people will always know that there is no hidden meaning behind her words and they can be trusted, but bad because her words can be a quite insensitive and hurt people's feelings sometimes.

Insecure & Critical: Although Raein appears to be strong and silent, like a wall, she is actually very insecure deep inside. She is a bit of a perfectionist, and as a result, she is very critical of herself and her actions. Thus, she constantly pushes herself to become better, and even though this is a good point, more often than not, she ends up placing too much pressure and expectations on herself that she cannot fulfill, which causes her self-esteem to decrease. As such, she often wonders if other people also judge her for not being good enough. If something goes wrong, and she is involved, she also tends to put the blame on herself very quickly. Additionally, although most of the time she shows vengefulness and anger for being betrayed, deep down, she is actually very hurt and wants to break down from the betrayal, though she always stops herself from breaking down as she knows that other people need her and her skill.

✖My Heart Beats for Him✖

260x180260x180260x180

  • Name: Kim Sunggyu
  • Age: 24

How You Met Him: Sunggyu and Raein first met when her family moved into the house next to his, though they never spoke or interacted with each other till the day he came across her training. From that day on, he became her trainer and also her close friend, since the area they lived in didn't have many people of their age. He was also quite close with her brother, and the 3 of them often trained together. However, after the CHI CLAN's attack, Raein and Jiwan lost contact with Sunggyu even though they tried to look for him. Unbeknownst to them, he was actually captured by the CHI CLAN due to his family's legendary fighting powers (which was also what enabled him to teach Raein to become such a good fighter). His family was killed after refusing to fight for them, but thinking of Raein, Sunggyu agreed to fight for them just so that he can survive and find her again. He tries his best to stay out of battles, and helps people secretly if he cans, and only goes to fight if he receives a direct order from the heads of the CHI CLAN.

Interaction:

Before the CHI CLAN's attack which killed her father, Raein and Sunggyu were very close friends, and though they often bickered and teased each other, they genuinely cared for and took care of each other, and might even have had feelings for each other. He helped her a lot in her training, and there were many times where they were caught in awkward situations when he tried to correct her posture or something and an accident happened (think her falling on top of him xD), before they were broken apart by Jiwan. Jiwan is protective of Raein, so Sunggyu is perhaps the only guy he trusted aside from himself to actually touch and be close to his sister.

After they lost contact, Raein and Sunggyu finally met each other again on the battlefield, and both were horrified that the other belonged to the CHI CLAN and the Silver Blood, Raein because the CHI CLAN was the people who had killed her father and caused so much suffering, while Sunggyu because it meant that he would be forced to fight Raein all the time as the CHI CLAN was determined to get rid of the Silver Blood. Raein initially felt betrayed by Sunggyu and attacked him despite being outnumbered, which he allowed and didn't retaliate. She was eventually forced to retreat after the CHI CLAN's reinforcements arrived. Feeling betrayed by her close friend, she fought very fiercely and tried to get to him every time she knew he was going to be in the battle. After their first encounter on the battlefield, Sunggyu always made himself go to battles with the Silver Blood to ensure her safety. Jiwan was also shocked by his betrayal, and though he wanted to support his sister and help her get revenge for being hurt, he felt that there was something Sunggyu wasn't telling.

(Maybe as the story progresses, there can be a few times where Sunggyu saves her from being injured, and maybe one time she was injured so badly and couldn't retreat that Sunggyu had to rescue her secretly and help her to recover in the CHI CLAN's base.)

My Weapon✖

How does it look like:
Do you have two or just one?: I have 2 bows, the first one is a stronger bow meant for inflicting heavier damage, made after I joined the Silver Blood. The second one is the silver bow my father passed down to me, which is lighter and used when I need to move quietly and quickly, such as when I'm sent on missions as a sniper/spy/scout. The silvery arrows with white feather I use are my signature as well, as no other archers use the same arrows and feathers. With my speed and accuracy, my enemies typically only see a white flash or even nothing at all before they are dead.
Do you have any experience?: Yes. I was trained by Sunggyu to become an excellent archer, such that my bow is not just a weapon but also an extension of my body. He also trained my senses to be sharp, so that if I didn't have use of my sight, I can use my other senses to locate my target.
Why did you chose this Weapon (or plotline?): I chose this weapon because it is better suited for my size and build, as I'm not strong enough to wield a sword or other heavy weapons properly. I also prefer to strike down my enemies before they even reach me, which will make them fear me because they can't even touch me.
Signature Move? What is it?: Arrow shower (can be done with both bows). Firing multiple arrows in one shot on my bow in an upwards arc, which will rain down on my enemies in a shower. It is very hard for them to escape the shower as they won't even see where my arrows are coming from above.
Any new High Tech Thing with your Weapon?: In close combat, I can press a button on my stronger bow to split it into two short swords from the grip of the bow, which become the handles of the swords. From the part where the bow separates, there are leather straps which I can wrap around my forearms so that my short swords won't ever fly out of my grip. To put my bow back together, I merely bring the two handls together and slot them into each other. The string of the bow automatically unstrings or restrings itself each time the mechanism is activated.

Yes! I'm Done!

Last words?: I'd like for some flashbacks that Raein has of one or two of the awkward situations she and Sunggyu found themselves in during training xD Other than that, I loved the story plot and I really hope I get chosen! ^^

Omg there's so many songs I could use for my choice of background music that it's so hard for me to choose x.x I think you could really consider using Assassin's Creed theme songs, Tae Wang Sa Shin Gi's OST and Sword Art Online's OST for background music cause I think they really fit the atmosphere, if you do end up using and you need help, just ask me and I'll be really really glad to help xD Oh and BtoB's Insane is also good~ Considered all these song choices and it was so hard to choooooseeee T-T
