Jung Kook lightly slaps his cheeks, feeling his thoughts scatter a million and one directions. He squeezes his eyes shut. The aftereffects of the kiss make his body buzz and tremble from excitement. He needs to share this with someone. He needs Ji Min.

And what luck, he sees his friend, knee deep into the pool, planted firmly to the edge. He doesn’t seem to take notice of Jung Kook’s presence even as he noisily drags his feet over across the pebbled patio to him. He’s about scream out his friend’s name in absolute glee when he takes notice of Ji Min’s accessories in a heap beside him. He watches silently, his smile dissipating as Ji Min uninterestedly puts the last of his rings to the pile.

Ji Min places his hands carefully by his sides. He looks down to the water his feet are submerged in. Jung Kook can hear the water swish and splash as Ji Min sways his feet around. Then, in the next instant, as quick as Jung Kook had taken in a sharp intake of breath… Ji Min dove.
