Jaehwan has a natural brown hair, which is usually pulled back with the help of hairspray or wax, showing his forehead. His hair stops and third of a quater above of the base of his neck - not intending to make it any shorter or any longer. He has a fair skin because he is not fond of staying under the sun neither does he likes to work out, thus having no extra muscles. Jaehwan is seen rather skinny because of that very reason. As for his fashion style, Jaehwan is all about buttom up shirt with suit pants or anything smart for college. ( 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 ) . for a casual look, he usually wears plain white/black/mostly gray t-shirts and long pants paired with any running shoes as his footwear, keeping his looks simple but neat.

  The most obvious trait that Jaehwan possesses is that he is intelligent. he didn't get the title The Brain, for nothing. With an IQ of 150, he sure is known by at least the quarter of the population of the department of sciences for being one of the top 5 students in the classes he take. He is very quick in thinking of a solution and very opinionated as well, never giving a one-sided answers. He is good at his studies, not just because of he works hard for them, but also because he likes spending his times with books and surrounding himself with knowledge, he even has a mini library in his house.

 

 He is not lenient and especially strict when he is tutoring thus not many people (zero) would want to nominate him as the most fun tutor. He teaches with a constant scowl on his face, would not tolerate any mistakes and gives more works for those poor students so they'd be better by time the next session comes. He is one of those annoying people that complain someone's skirt is too short, too revealing and not appropriate. With that being said, he is also a perfectionist, he likes his clothes perfectly ironed with no wrinkles and his hair styled to perfection so not even a single hair sticking out (he spends atleast 30 mins on hair alone every morning), wants some kind of dress code on the turoring session - this length, cover this, cover that. He is strict on perfection like that.

 

 Jaehwan does not really understand people's emotions. Even though he is smart, he couldn't quite grasp the meaning of someone's feelings like he could automatically with facts and studies. Which has resulted him to be the apathetic guy that he is. He, himself, doesn't show much of emotions. He says and does things that he didn't know would hurt people's feelings, he just blurt his thoughts out. He doesn't know when to pat someone at the back, how to comfort people, always confused of why someone's crying or whether or not he is the cause.

 

  Jaehwan knew this but he doesn't want to live his whole life taking a good care of people's feelings. He doesn't enjoy having to try hard to please people every single second, thus he only give everyone what he feels like giving. He will offers people something only if he is sincerely wanted to and not to fake anything. He ignores people when he doesn't feel like talking, telling a girl that she looks fat or the dress looks horrible on her, telling someone out rightfully that his or her joke is not funny or just simply walks away in a middle of a conversation if it gets boring to him. Jaehwan is bluntly honest but due to him not fond of faking something to please people, he very genuine in everything he does.

  Jaehwan is the first and only son of the Kim Daeho and Shin Jihyun - which is a rather wealthy family. His father was the main lawyer for a large company before deciding to build his own law firm six years ago while his mother was a dress designer and tailor for a small but decent wedding shop - she quitted the job after after she got married to Jaehwan's father. How the two, despite being in two very different industries, met was Jihyun favourite story to tell Jaehwan when he was little. While Daeho was feeling indifferent about the concept of soulmates, Jihyun had always been the one girl that thought the whole thing is ridiculous - she likes freedom and having someone out there destined to be the only one perfect for her is not considered as freedom. The two met when both of them went for coffee break at the same café. Daeho would never wanted to admit that it was love at first sight but that was what Jihyun told Jaehwan everytime - as cliché as that sounded. "It doesn't have to be your soulmate, Jaehwan," she said everytime she caught him looking at his wrist, "love is a wonderful thing that will even happened to you."

 

  Jaehwan, since he was 5 years old, had been exposed to private classes here and there - ranging from musical instrument class to early languanges classes just because his father had been raised the same way. Education being the main ingredient in surviving this cruel world. When you are fully educated, no one can look down at you, he said. His father had been paying for the personal subjects tutors for Jaehwan since he was in middle school and continued until he was in the final year of highschool. Now, though, he is what people call tutor since he was a junior in the university. When he is not studying at home, he goes out to tutor some students - at the library, the study hall or at the café near the university compound. When the lecturer assigned him to help the students, he doesn't take any payments for it but sometimes he earned some income in exchange of helping some of his college mates in maths, biotechnology or physics. Since he is in the process of majoring physics, he mostly offers to tutor the subject.

  Daeho and Jaehwan don't talk much since he hit his adult age,18 years old - just because of their mutual personality. Both men in the family are more of men of actions and dislike wasting words - unless there was a world issue to debate about. Which Jihyun just had to groan out loud about everytime the two started going at it and walked away. Daeho had always been a busy father since Jawhwan could remember but always made time to asked his son about his college, about his days. Other than that the two would just exchange nods on the hallways at home or in the living room. As for his fate/words, maybe it was due to the words showing that he will somehow be making an impact on his soulmate's life - Daeho never care much about those words. He found his love and that's all he cares about.

  Being the only talkative one in the family, it is only natural that she is the very bestfriend for both Daeho and Jaehwan.   Jaehwan and Jongin couldn't be more different. One is active and loves sports with his heart while the other one loves his bed and cursed obnoxious football players almost daily. The two wouldn't have exchange any words if it was not because Jongin's family being Jaehwan's neighbour for 10 years. Jongin is the type of man that thinks sports especially football as his religion. As a the uni's football captain he spends his hours practicing, prioritizing his team before other things. he is the college's crush and pride. Jongin is the only one that Jaehwan is seen hanging out with in uni and he is the only sport man that Jaehwan can tolerate talking for more than one minute. Jongin is part of Jaehwan's childhood and Jaehwan is Jongin's. Jongin hates his words and would wear any wrist wear two cover those words from his sight. Sure, he flirted here and there but that just it. The only relationship he had been in is with his football team - the one that he would skip meals, sleep and almost everything for.

the reaction. as a kid, he kept on hoping that some words would magically appear on his wrist - any words. he kept on waiting until he is old enough to accept that he is not going to meet his soulmate or not going to ever know what her voice sounds like. He is so used to not seeing any words on his wrist that he always forgot the concept of soulmates. Jongin kept on saying he is lucky, his mother said he doesn't have to have a soulmate to fall in love, to be happy.  Unlike most people her age, Aesul had heard those words. As sad as her words are, she doesn't push the idea of love and relationships away - she is optimist that way. That is how she met Jung Heecheol, someone that is 3 years older than her - they met because of mutual friends. Clicked seconds after they both started talking. They had been dating for 2 years and a few months but that was an old old story. Heecheol is an ambitious person, wanted to work at his father's company in Japan and when he was not spending his time with Aesul, he worked hard to prove his father that he deserves that spot. Those words were said at the airport and when Aesul realized, all she said was "okay" because if those were his last words, he is not going to come back to her. She didn't call and he didn't either - what was the point?
