• Hayan, like her name suggest, has really pale skin. She has a very toned body due to the mix of dance and sports. She always has her hair dyed a few shades lighter than her natural hair colour and during school breaks, she dyes some strands crazy colours you didn't know could be on hair. Despite her pale skin, Hayan naturally has a really bright shade of red on her lips leading to people's constant questions on her lips so she ends up actually wearing some nuder tones to cover it up.
OTHER — Hayan also has a small scar which runs across her left eye brow to the outer corner of her eye. The scar healed almost perfectly. except the obvious lack of eyebrow. To hide it, she either draws them on despite her inability in arts, or would choose to shave off another line parellel to it. Pretending it was her choice that it looked like that.

• Hayan prefers simplicity over crazy colours and designs for her clothes so her wadrobe is mostly made up of black or white tops and dresses with little to minmal patterns. HBA is definitely her bae. For her bottom, she wears anything from harem pants to circle skirts. Unlike her tops, this has a little more colour and patterns since she goes for a whatever fits attitude when it comes to bottoms. Sometimes, she pairs dresses with coloured jackets, but dresses itself is already a rarity.
• But if you were to turn your vision towards the other side of her wardrobe, it will look like you stepped into a parrallel world. She has a crazy amount of accessories, bags and shoes. All accompanied by ridiculous numbers of colours and designs. The exact opposite of her clothes. She always has at least a bracelet on her just for that pop of colour she craves. Hayan is absolutely fearless. She's in love with thrills. To her every fear is one to conquer and one to make you feel your heart racing and speeding. She's absolutely in love with heights and take routes out of the ordinary. She likes to hang around on rooftops and would be the first to volunteer to take a jump from a high cliff into a lake. Her biggest wish right now is to be able to do a bungee jump on the Macau Tower or take Sky Diving lessons. If you're looking for someone to go free climbing with, here's the best candidate. What about fears of spiders, snakes and other animals? None whatsoever. She being the weirdball she is find spiders really charming and snakes facinating. Due to her background, Hayan found herself becoming very independent. She would rather hurt herself than to rely on someone else. She also has good common sense and read situations pretty well, so don't ever try to pull a surprise on her, because one slip up means that your surprise isn't that surprising anymore. Hayan has really amazing short term memory. If you gave her a list of facts on glaciers and asked her the answers to the question a week later, she'll be able to tell you everything. But none of them ever goes into her long term memory. Ask her a month later and she'll forget that you even gave her a list of facts.

Hayan is very realistic. To her, it's once you lose grip on reality and fall into a giddy world of happiness is when you start to weaken. She finds herself looking at everything with both positivity and negativity. Likewise, she will point it out to you when you start have delusions about people and other things. She knows she is weak and because she is weak, it's why she puts up so many barriers and precautions so that she doesn't slip from reality and alertness.

Hayan didn't have a childhood like others where she got to meet alot of people and play around in the sun and soil. She didn't get the chance to have fun and play alot so she finds herself searching to fill in the void left behind. This created a great intrest in things you'll generally see a kid playing with such as bubbles, swings and slides. She loves to play little pranks and tease people about everything from relationships to the dumb things they say. A hyper Hayan is a Hayan out of control. She says the weirdest things, does the weirdest , and creeps on everyone before doing the dumb batman voice she loves and then laugh like maniac after wards.

Hayan is pretty quiet contrary to her actions. She acts like she's a squirrel on sugar rush when she's high, which is most of the time but she doesn't talk a lot or make lots of noise. When she says something, oh prepare for something weird af but it sort of nice? This usually makes a lot of sense but then again you wonder where she even got it from. Then again, half of the time you spend with her, you wonder what exactly goes on in her mind.

Hayan has very little confidence in herself whether it comes to her looks, personality or just her as she is. She struggles alot wondering if people actually like or care about her and has trust issues. It really just stemmed from many things that she faced growing up before pushing herself to come to Korea. The only time she really feels confident is when she is able to take risks that others can't such as jumping off a cliff. Outside of that she worries whether her skin is too fair, her lips are too red, or that she's not smiling enough. She also worries about not understanding herself enough or not being worthy to have many things. Sometimes, she just feels so useless and empty that it breaks her inside.

Due to her lack of confidence especially in her physical appearance, she gets very sensitive to little comments made of her by other people. She's realistic with everything else but she knows that everyone has different opinions about her and if she hears something bad about herself, she worries if everyone looks at her the exact same way. Hayan is extremely picky with everything she has a broad choice in, especially when it comes to food. While she eats anything and everything most of the times, there are some days where the food she eats always have to go with her current mood. If she feels unhealthy today, she will and only will eat food that are low fat, low carb, high protein, etc. If she feels lazy and tried, she would want to eat only delivered chicken and only delivered chicken nothing else. If she's feeling a little more down, she goes for something with hot clear soup.
BACKGROUND + CURRENT EVENTS — (trigger warning)
23.11.98 Born on the 23rd of November 1998 in Singapore, Hayan was named Bai Hui Yan. She was the child of a highly successful business advisor, Bai JiaXiong, and a world reknowned ballet dancer, now Bai YouQing. Her parents met when they were still in University when both of them were having exchange programmes to Korea. The two first started out as good friends. But as days past in a foreign country, the two found themselves relying on each other greatly. The two started to fall for each other eventually started to date. The two went on many ups and downs having a long distance relationship even without skype and video calls where Jiaxiong was still studying in Taiwan and Youqing in HongKong. Jiaxiong, being a year older, graduated first and was quickly scouted to a company in Malaysia as a business advisor after getting lots of recommendations from his proffessors. The two of them continued their difficult long distance relationship between Malaysia and HongKong until YouQing graduated from college. JiaXiong then proposed to her on her graduation day. A year later and now married, JiaXiong was scouted to work in Singapore which brought the couple to live there together. They ended up having the fair Bai Huiyan there.
25.12.02 At a almost a year and a half, JiaXiong was scouted yet again. This time in the then developing Dubai to one of the biggest companies around the world so he took it immediately. The family then moved to Dubai together. Two years down the road, on the christmas of 2002, Youqing found herself tired of living in the dry and hot climate of Dubai and wanted to move back to HongKong and so she did. The couple's relationship didn't take much of a blow since the two had always been having long distance relationships yet because YouQing wanted to be able to provide a safe and healthy place for Hayan before she brought the 4 year old there to live with her. Hayan stayed with her father who was always out at work. Her baby sitters were never good enough to last more than 2 months due to her father's strict guidelines. More than a year later, Youqing decided that it was ready for Hayan to be brought over to her newly renovated apartment in central HongKong. Hayan moved to HongKong with the help of her father and her parents registered her in a international school in Hong Kong. There most of the subjects she studied were in English rather than Chinese so she ended up picking up English and improving her Cantonese at the same time.
26.10.07 JiaXiong who was working in China then was scouted yet again. This time to work in Japan. Hayan's parents decided it was time for them to finally live together again. The family had spent alot of time together in the breaks that JiaXiong would have, he would either spend a few weeks to a month with them in HongKong or bring them to him overseas several times a year so he was still very involved with Hayan's life. After moving to Japan and leaving her friends of 3 years behind, Hayan met many new friends and was adjusting to Japan really well despite her lack of Japanese ability. Yet her father was soon scouted to another country, and another, and another. This brought the family to many different countries spending from a few months to one year in a country. This caused Hayan to develop a few trust issues, knowing that she didn't want to get close to someone, only to have to leave them soon.
05.03.11 Almost 3 years if the constant moving about, her mother started to get very paranoid and her parents started to fight a lot. Eventually, the two ended up having a really bad divorce and that hurt Hayan alot. She suddenly felt very alone as she didn't have many friends and now her parents were going in seperate directions. Her parents fought harshly for her custody, but Hayan had always felt unwanted and unloved. When her father eventually won custody, her mother moved back to HongKong and despite the daughter- mother pair meeting up often, Hayan ended up hating herself. The 13 year old her soon fell into a depression where she found very little will to live.
14.05.11 Hayan eventually found herself in the mirror of her bathroom, enranged at her own reflection in the mirror. Her eyes were bright red, tears constantly streaming down her face. She questioned herself, what is this monster who belonged in a horror movie doing here, staring back at her. She looked at her pale lifeless skin and blood red lips as she stared with swollen eyes and unknowingly, felt the urge to just knock the horrific self out of the reflection. So she did. She knocked head first into the glass mirror leaving a big gash across her eyebrow. She reached for a large shard of glass in the sink where the pieces of the mirror fell. "What, this little thing has blood. I DONT BELIEVE YOU!" her voice, fragile and filled with ridicule. She found herself shouting before cutting herself on her wrist. Thankfully, a worker in her house heard her loud shout and immediately went to check up on her after getting someone to knock the locked door down. They found Hayan there, bleeding profusely.
07.03.11 When Hayan woke up, she found herself connected to IVs and heartbeat sensors. Her first question when she saw her guilty father seated beside her was "Am I dead yet?". Those words left the greatest impact shes ever seen on her father. Her father immediately pulled her into a hug and cried profusely, apologising profusely again and again. Her father brought her back to HongKong, knowing full well it was there she felt the most comfortable. Her parents spent months together with her, talking to her and simply showering her with love. Eventually, Hayan found herself again. Picked herself up from the depressed her. Just like the romance of her parents. She was still having trust issues and suffered from a lack of confidence in herself, but Hayan found herself looking forward to the day tomorrow. 2 years later, Hayan went back to an International School in HongKong and her father accepted one of the jobs the piling scouters were sending him. This time again to nearby China.
11.12.13 Almost a year later, Hayan told her parents of her wishes to move to Korea to spend her highschool there. She wanted to test herself, to become independent. Hayan wanted to grow stronger, tougher and better. Hayan recalled most of her favourite memories in her life when her father was scouted to Korea, which is why she chose Korea of all countries. When she graduated from Middle School, her mother and her both moved to Korea.
NOW As of now, Hayan is currently studying in Cheonsa High with her group of friends in the anti-bts club. Although it's rare, she still has her own break downs and still is quite lacking in her confidence however, she now aspires to study psychology and hopefully would be able to start her own volunteer group to help teens going through depression. There she wants to be a motivational speaker and share her story in order to help others grow and develop. She often volunteers at Orphanages and community centers where she reads and play to children. Always being one who cheers up the children with her Batman voice. Let's also mention that Hayan gets her fair share of admirers since you know, she inherited much of her looks from her very beautiful mother.

meeting the members of the anti-bts club made her feel accepted and loved. she came to Korea without knowing anyone except her mom's friends so when she first entered high school and met with a bunch of welcoming people, she felt so accepted despite the language barrier. The members had helped her with her Korean and soon she was already able to speak well. Hayan is slowly growing to trust them despite her trust issues and hopes she will never have to leave them because they are very precious people to her. And well, they are a bunch of fun loving people that Hayan obviously really needs in her life right now. Sometimes, Hyesun talks so loud and so much that Hayan can't understand anything but it's alright, Hayan won't tell anyone and she loves Hyesun very much too, but Hayan isn't telling anyone that either.
• THE FRENEMY \\ Jackson Wang (17)\\ student at cheonsa high - sweet, hyper, outgoing, sarcastic, weird
Jackson is basically the reason why Hayan was enrolled in the school. Hayan's mother, Youqing, is close to Jackson's mother having grown up together in HongKong so they met up when Hayan moved to Korea. Jackson, being Jackson, started the conversation with a stupid line of "hey, do you like fencing?" Hayan had picked up fencing in her last year of middle school after being encouraged by her mother to do something that she likes. So what happened that day was that Hayan and Jackson ended up fencing with each other and growing close very quickly, which is rare when it comes to Hayan. When Hayan had to register for highschool, Jackson proposed registering at his school. Since Youqing wasn't very good at Korean either, Jackson had to be the one who did the registering for Hayan. Jackson spontaneously decided that Baek Hayan was going to be her korean name and she was fine with it cause it sounded pretty, that is until she found out it's meaning and was so close to killing him since she was sensitive about her pale skin already. "Stop laughing." was her motto for about the entire time she met him that year. When it comes to school, if she's not with the members of the anti-bts club then she will be with this goofball (since she has every single class + fencing club with him). Jackson doesn't know of her past, but this Wang will find out especially since he has been noticing the awful scar on her wrist lately.
• SECRET LISTENING EAR \\ Park Jimin (17) \\ student at cheonsa high - adorable, friendly, easy going
Jimin and Jackson are close friends since like Hayan, they have every lesson together so when Jackson pulled Hayan to everywhere with him, Jimin was sometimes dragged along too despite protests from both. Jimin eventually started talking to her even without Jackson and they got along pretty well. One day while they were hanging out on the rooftop for recess while Jackson went to buy food, he started talking about his worries about his appearance. Because of that Hayan found herself trusting him and talking to him about her worries and problems too. The two gave each other advice and encouragement, but Hayan makes sure she is never seen with him when with the anti-bts club since she afraid they'll leave her if they find out. Hayan had even once talked about her scar, a story she hasn't even told the members of the club or Jackson. This made Jimin really protective of her and would always make sure that if he's around, no one would hurt her.

After the incident with the mirror, JiaXiong's has gotten much closer to Hayan and never fails to tell her how precious she is too him and how all he wants is her happiness, nothing more. After moving to HongKong initially, she started up a Ballet School and quickly gained lots of fame from it as a former ballet star. So when she moved to Korea she set up another branch of it in Korea and is now working on building the school up. RELATIONSHIP —
• FIRST MEETING : So during the three years of her life where she was moving about constantly, she spent a couple of months in Seoul. She was homeschooled during the months that she was here as Hayan didn't know a single word of Korean, unlike her parents. Her mother contacted Jin's mother after meeting during university. When they met at Jin's house, Jin and Hayan met too. Hayan at that point was really skinny due to her not being able to get used to Korea's food in the first few weeks. So when Jin saw her for the first time he told her that she looked like a skeleton, white and boney. He then proceeded to talk about how her lips were too red and then concluded that she looked like a vampire. Although Jin did not meant it as an insult, she cried profusely at that comment as she ran to her mother. That was when she was 11. That left a big scar on her till today. She didn't meet Jin again until she moved back to Korea in her first year of Highschool.
• REASON 1 Prior to registering for the school, Hayan met with Jin again and it was at a housewarming party held by Hayan's mother. So when Jin and his mother came to the party, it affected Hayan as she remembered the comment left by Jin. Jin's appearance attracted the attention of all the teenage girls who were at the party except Hayan herself, so she was bewildered by their actions. Jin was a pretty awkward person and quickly explained to his mother before escaping to some remote place in the house away from everyone despite the many girls who wanted to talk to him. Delusioned by her hatred for him Hayan intrepreted it as arrogance.
• REASON 2 When she saw him for the third time on the first day of school, she saw him and his group of friends being chased around by a group of girls calling them gods and what not. She was enraged by the attention they were getting and even more so when she saw a smile on Jin's face as he walked through the crowd. She interpreted it as a smug smile.
• REASON 3 On the same day, she saw him by chance with a girl at the back of the school. The girl was on the chubbier side and she was obviously confessing to him with the pink coloured letter and rosy cheeks that she had. But then Jin suddenly smiled before whispering some words to her. The girl started tearing immediately before running away from him. Jin then turned and walked away with a small smile, Hayan didn't have to see more than that. She was determined to find some way to get girls to stop falling from such a him. In all honesty, Jin was just an awkward person who still didn't know how to reject girls despite rejecting so many. Jin was smiling at the end cause he thought the girl's way of conffessing was pretty unique and cute but Hayan doesn't know that.
• CHANGE 1 One day afterschool, Hayan was going to go home after practicing in the dance studio with Jackson. Jackson left first to buy some food before the canteen closed so she was going to meet him at the gates. While she was walking down the staircase she coincidentally walked into Jin and a girl who was conffessing to him. She rolled her eyes and wanted to just walk straight through, but she realized that this was the perfect oppourtunity to expose him and girls would then stop obsessing over him. She hid behind the pillar of the staircase and whipped out her phone to record it. Where she was standing, she could hear everything they were saying. Jin rejected the girl by saying "I'm sorry, I have no time to be dating right now. You're a really pretty girl who deserves a guy who can give you all his time and effort." When Hayan heard it, she felt like she was mistaking him all along. But Hayan was someone who wouldn't change her mind just cause of one line.
•CHANGE 2: When her mother randomly brought her to a restaraunt in town saying that her friend's son was working as a chef here, she saw J-Hope who was working there. J-Hope was serving the customers with a happy smile and was very kind and approachable when he was serving the table despite recognizing her as part of the anti-bts club, making her feel a little guilty. When her mother then asked to meet the chef by stating that his name was Kim Seokjin to J-hope, Hayan was dumbfounded. She didn't think that Jin would even be working in a place where he couldn't show off his face. So when he came out with a very sweaty and tired face, she couldn't believe her eyes. She always thought he was someone who wouldn't let himself look like that. After greeting her mother and eating some food that her mother offered, Jin got back to the kitchen to continue working. Her mother then explained to Hayan about Jin's family. His father was pretty famous as a detective and had a very good career, but the success meant that he became the target of many gangs and serial killers who have gone to jail because of him. One day, when Jin was 13, his father was assinated in his office and that left Jin, his brother and his weak mother. Despite having money saved up and some sent from the government each month, his older brother knew it wasn't enough and started to work. His mother would get sick very easily so this meant that they had more to pay for her medical bills. When Jin was old enough to get jobs, he started to work in restaraunts and eventually got to be a chef at a restaraunt.
• CHANGE 3 Her mother decided that it was a good idea to make Hayan and Jin talk to each other as they were in the same school and she wanted Hayan to have many friends. It was a joint effort of both Hayan's mother and Jin's mother to force them to have lunch at some upscale restaraunt. The entire fiasco started with Jin worrying about the cost of food and ended with the two of them facing each other with plates of italian food before them. Being in that situation, the two started talking. At this point her hatred of him was already very little. It was when the two started to talk more and more that she finds that she misunderstood him greatly and her impression of him changed. She slowly fell for him throughout the little conversations that they would have when they see each other at school. Of course outside of the club member's knowledge. But of course, Relationship newbie Hayan thought it was simply admiration and respect.
• RELATIONSHIP 1: When Hayan accidentally tells Jimin about how she admires Jin, he suddenly became super protective about her knowing about the many girls Jin has rejected. He had to make it clear to Hayan that that wasn't admiration but attraction but part of him wanted to convince her not to fall for Jin, but he knew that there was no way that his words would be enough for that. Jimin then decided that he should set them up. With the help of bts and some really bad acting from them, they managed to unconvincingly get Jin and Hayan to have an Amusement Park date, along with some stalking bangtan members. There the two went about playing roller coasters after roller coasters contrary to Jin's fear of them. Yet at the same time, they had fun spending the whole day there going to Parades, Haunted Houses and taking a random bunch of photos. Jin found his heart thumping really hard when the two of them got into the ferris wheel. Some part of him wished it was because he knew he would be at great height, but he knew it because he had already fallen for Hayan.
• RELATIONSHIP 2 Jin walked her home and when the two were awkwardly ending off their date infront of her apartment building Hayan's mother came rushing out before they could do anything. They were then infromed that Jin's brother was involved in an accident and tried to contact Jin but his phone was off. The three immdiately got into the hospital and frantically found Jin's brother in the emergency room with a cast on his leg and laughing while watching gag concert. Jin sighed with so much relief, his legs gave out. He tripped over the ground and thankfuly, Hayan managed to grab his hand to keep him up. That made the two remainging people in the room raise their eyebrows very much. After making sure his brother was really okay, Jin and Hayan went to the coffee shop to have some coffee while Hayan's mother continued to montior him having developed a bond with the brothers.
• RELATIONSHIP 3 Hayan hated hospitals ever since the incident when she was younger. Jin had already noticed her hesistation in entering the hospital but then decided there was a better time to ask her about it. The two got their coffee to go and went to the rooftop of the hospital, since Hayan really likes rooftops. Since there wasn't anyone so close to midnight, Jin decided it was time to ask her about it. When she proceeded to talk about her scars and her past depression and how she sometimes suffer from those breakdowns still, Jin unknowingly pulled her into a hug while apologising. Hayan did not understand why he was apologising but accepted the hug anyways.
• RELATIONSHIP 4 Weeks after telling him about the past, Jin realized that he always felt empty when she was not by his side. He realized that he was in love with her. When he consulted with bts, they encouraged him to conffess to her. So when she was walking home one day, Jin caught up with her and offered to walk with her despite his house being in the opposite direction. They then talked about random things that was happening in their lives before Jin asked if she wanted to go to the park since it apparently had nice weather. how smooth jin. Hayan already had feelings for him so she was elated when he offered this sudden date. The two were hanging out at the park, played with some kids and he was introduced to Hayan's batman voice. The pair then went the riverside and was watching a light show since the park was located along the Seoul River. When the two reached Hayan's apartment building, Jin conffessed about his feelings to her with all confidence he had. But Hayan was feeling conflicted. She was afraid that if she were to date him, she would lose the friends she had but she was afraid that she would never be able to find a guy she liked more. She then proceeded to tell him that she needed time to come up with an answer before running away into the lobby of the building. That left a very dumbfounded Jin standing there.
• LOVE She then talked to both Jimin and Jackson about her worries despite stepping out of her comfort zone and eventually came to the conclusion that if the club were real friends, they would stick by her no matter what. Besides, she would have Jin, Jimin and Jackson and maybe even the entire bts as her friend if things were to go wrong. So Hayan eventually met up with Jin and accepted his conffession and whispered a quick I love you when Jin decided too say it first when he pulled her into a hug. Hayan proceeded to bring Jin to the clubroom where she could her the other member chatting in. Although she worried about their friendship, she comforted herself with his presence and the fact that they were all still friends despite some of the members being awkwardly kicked out of the club. She picked up the courage to enter the club room with Jin. Saying a quick "I am in love with this guy here to face me with whatever punishment" she quickly stated and started blush profusely. The remaining members sighed and huddled together with mumbles of changing the club name ever coherent. They then decided Hayan will be on forced hiatus from the group and her position in the group would be decided later.
STATUS — That couple that wears looks gorgeous and stuff and you can't help but admire how well they look together. Cause you know, Jin is beautiful af, and Hayan is not that far off either.

I'm soon gonna be taking a national exam so I may disappear from AFF sometimes but I usually come on everyday so I hope you won't put it agaisnt me if Hayan gets chosen.
ps. the dates for the background doesn't matter. I just wanted to show like a certain amount of time between each event and how this long periods affected Hayan.
btw I cry because all the other apps are so good and Hayan now just pales in comparision. pun intended. if you got it tho. I'm just kidding, all the apps are unique and so it's more about what kind of charcters you as the writer wants to use. But seriously. The amount of apps, im so glad i didn't choose namjoon tbh.
