Craft #64 - 66: Jigglypuff with mic, Hidden Leaf Village symbol pendant, Akatsuki cloud flatback (aka Storm charms)
I woke up to this:
But it got better in a couple of minutes:
Strong winds and heavy rains kept me awake at night until the early morning. It started last Thursday.
I just like how the sky is so bright right now, even if it's cloudy. Does that make sense?
The storm will leave the country tomorrow, according to PAGASA.
In the meantime, this Keeper is busy reading, reading and making polymer clay charms!
I attached the mic to jigglypuff. Ideally, the mic should have been sculpted with jigglypuff before baking. But the mic idea just hit me while I was writing the previous blog.
I attached the raw clay to jigglypuff with Bake and Bond and then I baked the charm.
I also made another Konoha Hidden Leaf Village symbol pendant. I threw away the WIP which I showed you in another blog because it got ruined with me trying to "fix" it.
I punctured a hole instead of inserting an eyepin, just like my runestone charm.
Still undecided whether or not I should paint this one with one of my sister's eyeshadows. I don't have Pearl Ex pigments but her eyeshadows have mica in them. I saw a couple of Youtube polymer clay artists use it.
And finally, the Akatsuki cloud flatback. I did it! While I was making the wings, at some point, it felt like I was making clouds.
I'm going to turn this into a pin for my ID lanyard that has akatsuki clouds. It's old and dirty now xD
I was about to poke a hole in it but my weak heart wouldn't let me.
I wanted to make it smaller but then I realized that outlining a small cloud would just give me unneeded stress. Haha!
After making the Akatsuki cloud, I figured that I could probably make flatbacks of EXO's symbols.
Nope. I opened my crafts folder and the moment I saw them, I knew I won't be able to make them last night. I am not going to cut that dragon or unicorn or that fireball without a game plan xDDD
Keeper is currently making another sculpture. And to those who are wondering, I'm building my own polymer clay collection. They are not for sale. But if I open an Etsy or Storenvy shop (in the distant future), I'll go through the proper process of advertising here in AFF.
