Appearance : Minah has a long dark brown hair that falls down to her back. She sometimes tie it in a messy bun but she usually prefers to just let it fall behind her back. There are also times wherein she'll attach a cute clip on her hair. She has hazelnut brown eyes that are rounded but at the same time chinky. People always said that her eyes aren't expressive but there's something about it that makes her eyes beautiful. Minah has a signature eye-smile. Her friends and the other tenants would that her eyes disappear whenever she smiles; as they become crescents. Her nose is quite pointed and she has natural thin pink lips. Minah has a dimple on her right cheek that appears whenever she does facial expressions. And because she knows a lot of people tends to be attracted to dimples, she would usually show it by smiling. :)) She has a milky white complexion that she likes taking care of. Minah usually uses milk bath soap to maintain the smoothness of her skin and she would also apply lotion to it or even sunscreen. Minah stands 169cm and weighs 50kg. She's quite tall and she honestly likes it.

Extras : Minah has a birthmark on her right shoulder with a size of a coin and it's shape somehow resembles a heart. She doesn't have any tattoos and she only has the normal two ear piercings. When she stands, she's like a ballerina. Her back straightened, stomach in, and chin up. It often looks like she's always proud but it's just natural with her. Whenever she walks, her hips sway a bit with every step she takes. Minah gives out the impression that she's a sophisticated young woman. But if people come to know her, ah, she's crazy with a posture of an elegant princess.

Style :  Minah is the kind of girl who likes to look casual but at the same time elegant. She sometimes follow trends but most of the time, she'd wear clothes that are just comfortable with her. She had learned to dress like this as she saw how the girls her age would like to wear these clothes and later on realized that it somehow suits her.

When she's going out with other tenants or would just go buy ice cream with them, she'd wear comfortable dresses, skirts, shorts, and sometimes pants. She'd wear hoodies or large t-shirts to pair with her skirts and shorts. She would also wear black leggings partnered with oversized blouses and then her sneakers. Just like a normal day out. Plus, she always wear sneakers. She just don't wear slippers whenever she goes out.

Oftentimes, her accessories would usually be a pair of earrings, her wristwatch, and also hats. Minah doesn't leave their apartment as well without putting on cologne. She also likes using rucksacks, messenger bags, and tote bags.

Personality : 
Minah is the kind of girl who's not really afraid to approach anyone. She doesn't choose on who she's going to be kind with as she likes to make new friends as much as possible. She really enjoys meeting new people and she's really friendly towards the people in Complex E. Alongside Jimin, she's like another welcoming committee of the apartments. She will be seen greeting anyone and she would even ask how's their stay in their apartment. Minah is also known for being a smart lady. Some of her co-tenants would even knock on her door to ask help with their assignments. She's always more than willing to help especially when she's not busy. She can also come up with witty answers at once that's why a lot has been drawn to her. Little did others know is that, Minah is also a good observer. She tends to understand one's personality by judging them on how they present themselves, their gestures, or how they act and talk to everyone. She can't deny it but she loves doing this as she's really curious on what's going on inside one's mind. Most of the time, her hunches towards others are correct but there are times where she makes mistakes. If she's doubting with someone's personality, she will just shrug it off and act the way she would usually interact with people. When she's really in the mood, Minah can be a tad lively that even the other tenants think how she can be so bright even at a scary set up of their flat. She's vivacious for her own good and other tenants think she's comical and funny. This is probably the reason why she's very easy to approach and not at all creepy.

With this little ray of sunshine, lies a shadow that from time to time resurfaces. Minah is a mysterious lass but it's always ignored as she can always divert conversations not to focus on her. The cheerful personality of hers overshadows her enigmatic personality. Sometimes, she can't help herself but blurt out weird stuff to other tenants that they don't know what she's thinking of. Others may admit that they like her but she has this aura of mystery that's hard to crack. For them, she's uncertain, vague, and the epitome of an enigma. Though Minah can be talkative, she's actually secretive. No one knows in their apartment about her past. All they know is that she lived there for years already and nothing more. She doesn't share much about her thoughts as she enjoys it more to listen to other people's stories. If you've offended her, be sure that you'll apologize or else you will have a stamp inside her mind that you've done something wrong to her. She may act cool and had forgotten what you did to her but she keeps grudges, definitely. She hates confrontations as she always wants to be happy. That's why she would choose to keep her not-so-good feelings and thoughts to herself rather than facing it. Minah can also be demanding at times. Her other co-tenants would even think if she's already the supervisor or the new landlady of their apartment because she would nag at them to always follow the rules. She's too particular with these things that even though she wants to do it for the good, it's actually irritating already. She doesn't mind though as long as she was able to express that everyone should always meet the high standards of society (haha otl) then it's fine with her. But no one likes a nagger really. :/ Minah can also be a person who would stick her nose to someone else's businesses. She will not be scared to interfere with other people's private lives because that's just how curious she is. Ah, she knows the saying “curiosity killed the cat” but she still would do what she wants. Sometimes, she can't quite grasp the meaning of leaving alone someone but she would just keep asking questions even though she's sort of crossing the line already. They find it weird how secretive Minah is but she managed to become a meddling young lady. She really is one complicated girl.

THE BACKBONE

Background: Born on a cold night during the day of the dead, October 31, 1993, in Busan Kim Minah was born to a single mother, Kim Dasom, who left baby Minah to her grandmother a few days after giving birth. Minah's grandma, Choi Sungkyung, took care of baby Minah and treated the little girl as her own. When she reached her preschool years, she would constantly bug her grandmother about her parents. But Sungkyung's response to her were always the same but somewhat vague but she doubted if it was true. Her grandmother had stick to the reason that Minah's mother went abroad to work so that they will have money. Good thing her grandmother's well-off and was a music professor in a famous university in Busan. And so she had grew tired of asking the same question and never really meeting her mother.

Growing up, Minah became a cheerful young girl who loves to surround herself around people. There were kids who would often bully her because she doesn't have parents, but she never paid attention to them but she learned to hate them secretly. And because she was an only child, she had often craved for company, that's why as much as possible she would meet new friends. When she was in high school, she had new classmates and since then she learned to keep her life a secret. They would often comment on why she's like that but never forced Minah to share about herself. This was also the time wherein she loved watching mystery films and actually wanted to take up criminology when she will reach college. But that changed as the years progresses as she realized that she was more fascinated with the human brain and how people thinks. When she was in her final year in high school, she took a college entrance exam in Seoul University and took up Psychology as her major. Thankfully, after a few months before graduation, she got the acceptance letter to the university and was even granted a scholarship in the university. She and her grandmother couldn't be any happier because of that and that was when they searched for a potential dormitory for Minah. Good thing they found an affordable apartment, Rainy Day Apartment, and she got her own unit in Complex E. Before college starts, Minah moved in to her new apartment leaving her grandmother in Busan. Though whenever there were holidays, she would go home to visit her grandmother. Minah was under a working scholar program and she was assigned to the library as an asst. librarian. She didn't have a tuition fee anymore and she receives allowance from the uni. Her grandmother would even send her extra money for her but Sungkyung was already retired and only worked as a piano teacher at home. During Minah's first year, she didn't have a roommate. But when she became a sophomore, she already had one and they became close. When she's in her junior year, it came to her attention that her grandmother was ill because of leukemia and was already counting the days. After a few weeks, her grandmother passed away and Minah was regretful because she wasn't able to spend Sungkyung's last days with her. That's why she was decided to not waste her grandmother's efforts and do her best with her studies. Her grandmother even left her enough money for her to use, but she chose to save that up for future use. Even though young as she was, Minah learned to be independent. She worked in a café near their aparment so that she will have more money to survive her everyday life. After another year, Minah had graduated college with flying colors and got hired a month after graduating as a counselor for freshman in Seoul University. Of course she was more than thankful because of that. Even though she was working already, she was still living in Complex E until the present time.

Figures of Importance : 
> Grandmother | Choi Sungkyung | 83 | She was Minah's mother figure and the only relative that she's close with. Sungkyung took care of Minah very well and thought her good deeds. Minah would also sometimes confide to her grandmother but if it was problems, she would keep it to herself but her grandmother knew whenever she's encountering some trials.
> Favorite unnie | Song Qian | 28 | The first person Minah had met. They instantly clicked upon meeting and Minah would often run to her whenever she needs advices about studies and all that stuff. Minah had always felt comfortable with Qian and as much as possible, the latter would take care of the younger like her sibling. They were pretty close and inseparable until Suji became a tenant there too. Though they would be seen hanging out, Minah didn't really feel good about Suji so she kept her distance towards them. But of course there would still be times that Minah will be going to their unit pestering Qian.
> Guy BFF | Park Jimin | 19 | Though Minah's older than Jimin, they jived perfectly and was like synced. Everyone even always thought that Jimin's the male version of Minah and the two would always be there to welcome new tenants of Complex E. He was nice towards Minah and would even often go to her unit just so he will lay on her bed and ask tons of questions on how was Minah's day. Sometimes, he would forget to call her noona because he thinks they belonged to the same mental age. :))
> Acquaintance | Bae Suji | 19 | Suji and Minah were definitely in good terms but there was just something with the younger that Minah didn't really like. She didn't even know either... Maybe she was just jealous because of the closeness of Suji and Qian? Well, they were roommates anyways. It was a shame for Minah that she never got a chance to become roommies with Qian because their apartment was always full. Suji and Minah are formal to each other though. Suji calls her unnie because Minah told her so but they weren't to the level wherein she totally likes the younger girl.

Lifestyle : Minah had a lot more free time after she graduated college. She was hired as the guidance counselor for freshmen in Seoul University and her work schedule would be from 8am - 5pm. She doesn't have work every Friday making her work only from Monday-Thursday. Good thing her salary was enough to cover for her daily expenses and also the rent of the apartment. Everyday before going to work, she would grab herself a cup of coffee from 7/11 and will buy a sandwich too. Then she'll go to the uni and work on some paperworks. At exactly 12 noon, Minah will go home to their apartment to cook lunch for her and for Minji as well. Sometimes they can eat together but other times, Minah will eat ahead of her because of Minji's class schedule. 15 minutes before 1, Minah will go back to the uni until 5pm. Then she'll go back home to relax and chill together with the others. Jimin will go to their unit every night at 9pm after his class just to pester the hell out of Minah or they will just have dinner together. Minah's and Minji's apartment looks like any other units, only tidier and cleaner. (Well Qian's and Suji's unit may have been the same but they have more decorations). The girls from 509 were minimalist that's why less deco, more beauty. But there were plants in the living room too and some books on the shelves. It was a nice crib according to the other tenants and the two girls seemed satisfied with it. White walls, brownish furnitures. It was pretty neat.

Chemistry :  Minji was a year younger than Minah that was why she moved there when Minah was in her second year in college. At first, Minji was really shy and quiet towards Minah. But the older always took care of her so in just a matter of few weeks, they became close already. Minji sensed that Minah's quite a private person so she never asked her unnie about her life. Minah felt at ease towards Minji that's why she wanted for the two of them to become close. She knew that the younger girl was a bit curious about her past so sometimes she would share to her about her life in Busan with her grandmother. Minji also noticed how everything was about her unnie's grandmother. But that was that, nothing anymore. Minah was really happy because she had met Minji and she was her roommate not other weird girls. Though usually, Minji would stay behind their unit if Minah will go and visit Qian or Jimin. But she would still prefer it if Minji would become close to the other tenants as well.

Personality : Kyungsoo is a kind lad but prefers to be alone most of the time. If people would ask him questions, he will answer but with only a few words. Minah would usually like talking to him because he doesn't mind, especially when they're outside of their apartment and he would just let her be. Sometimes when Minah's arranging the furnitures in their apartment, she would ask for Kyungsoo's help and the latter would just go with her without a word. (That's why she really thinks that he was kind) Kyungsoo's also smart and the other tenants thinks that he is so as he's always on his laptop, probably doing some research or whatnot. It's not hard for him to think of the best words to use in different occasions, though sometimes it may come off sarcastic and rude.

Despite all these, still, many of the tenants find him weird. Kyungsoo's not sociable to everyone and he is often perceived as a quiet and reserved guy. He doesn't mingle much with others and his only friend would be his laptop. (And if he considers Minah to be one, then he'll have two friends) Kyungsoo's also known to be mysterious, the very reason why Minah finds him fascinating. He often does things by himself and it feels like he's not even living in Complex E. He doesn't talk much to anyone maybe only if they approach him. No one knows anything much about him but something is off and eerie about him. (I'm so sorry authornim his personality is a tad short ;A; I honestly think that you have something in mind about him already and I don't want to cross that because I think Kyungsoo's character here is very interesting. I hope you understand. Please and thank you! c: )

History : Maybe it was only Minah, but she could just get a sense of familiarity to Kyungsoo that's why she was really drawn and attracted to him.

The first time they met was when Minah thought he was some sort of a ghost. Actually, she couldn't be any happier because she's certainly a believer of the beings that couldn't be seen by the eye. Though she was aware that they have other tenants in Complex E, she thought Kyungsoo was a ghost. He went up to the rooftop that time, exactly when Minah went as well. He was wearing a white polo shirt and black pants (just like in Love Me Right) and he so happened to pass by Minah's side as he was about to exit. The girl saw him from her peripheral vision and when she totally turned to greet the unknown person, he was suddenly gone. Thus, The Ghost of Complex E formed in her head. Then there was the other time again when she was about to enter their building, she saw the familiar ghost approaching and was about to go out. She was almost near in shouting in front of him but then Minji called her from another direction so she turned to the girl and when Minah looked back, he wasn't there already! Again! She was totally convinced that he was some sort of lost soul, wandering around their apartment. The third time they met was in 7/11. This time, Minah spotted him at once and was about to approach him. She was so happy. So happy because she will finally be able to talk to the ghost already. (Aigoo Minah. How come no one told you how the guy from rm. 504 looked like?! OTL)
"Yah!" Minah called out and Kyungsoo happened to look at her too. (Though he didn't really hear her. He just felt like gazing that way.) "Yah! Yah! Yah!" He raised an eyebrow as Minah was being so loud. He scanned the surroundings, good thing they were the only customers of 7/11 that time. "Gwisin!"

'Did she...? Did she just? What the fu—"

"Kyaaaa~!"

BLAG!

Kyungsoo's ever so wide eyes, widened even more at the scene in front of him. Minah fell flat on her face and she just stayed on the floor. Kyungsoo sighed and decided to ignore the girl. But somehow he was curious as to why she wasn't moving at all. With another heavy sigh, he walked his way to her.

"Yah. Gwenchanayo?" He asked. But she didn't respond so he squatted by her side and poked her cheeks three times.

Minah opened her eyes and sat up abruptly which startled Kyungsoo a bit but he was still able to remain composed. "Are you dead?" She suddenly asked. Kyungsoo's mouth opened a bit but then he pursed his lips again and shook his head in dismay. So, he stood up and went out of the store without buying the stuff he needed and left a dumbfounded Minah there. "Eh? Was he annoyed? Can ghosts be annoyed?" She muttered to herself and looked at his retreating figure. "He's not floating! Aigoo! Pabo Minah!" She then stood up and ran after him. "Wait! Wait!"

Kyungsoo was so pissed at her but decided to just ignore the crazy girl calling out to him. But she was a bit fast and he was just walking so Minah was successful in catching up to him. She tapped his shoulder and Kyungsoo snapped at her. "What is it that you want?" He thought that it was gonna scare her off. But he was wrong. Minah smiled to him.

"What's your name? I'm Kim Minah, by the way! I'm so sorry... I thought you were a ghost." She lowered her head and Kyungsoo can't help but find that funny so he smiled a bit, the same time Minah looked back at him again. She was mesmerized with his cute grin but it immediately disappeared when he knew she saw it.

"Kyungsoo. Do Kyungsoo."

Since then Minah would pester Kyungsoo even though the latter didn't like it. She would ask tons of questions, talk with him to no end, and annoy him to the core. He never liked it. Never had, never will. But he took note of the other side of Minah. There were days that it would be his turn to ask but Minah will not pay attention to it and would just leave him alone instead. He, too, got curious about her though he never did care. Maybe, a bit?

The longer she got to know him, the more Minah started liking Kyungsoo. She thought that he was cute, smart, and cute again. She honestly wanted to bite his eyes. Minah asked him once if she can but she just earned a glare from him instead. :)) The longer he got to know her, the curiouser Kyungsoo became to Minah. He thought that she was a mystery, a very annoying person, and quite pretty. He honestly wanted to ruffle her hair. Kyungsoo tried asking once but the moment was ruined when she asked if she could bite his eyes. 'Weird.' He thought. Nonetheless, they somehow appreciated each other's presence. The other tenants thought it was weird. But what were they expecting? The two certainly were a puzzle.

Physicality : If Kyungsoo had known how annoying and meddlesome Minah was, he would have never entertained her from the first day they've met. But deep inside, he knew he was somehow thankful that she barged into his life.

After the murder of Qian happened, a lot of tenants think that Kyungsoo really did it. But Minah thought otherwise. She knows he can't do such a thing... Can he? She was saddened about it but she did her best to comfort him and stay by his side. Minah knew he didn't need her, but she just can't help it. She cares too much for Kyungsoo. He tried his best to push her away, with reasons only he knows... Minah was persistent to stay by his side though. She would ask if he was doing fine and he would just reply a single nod. 'Was he suspicious?' She thought to herself and then shook her head again. She didn't know what to believe in anymore. Nonetheless, she was there for him. When he knew she will not leave, he just let her do what she wants and he did his best to protect her from possible rude comments of others or maybe from the murder...

What was your reaction to Qian's murder? : /looks sideways/ It's a shame... /gazes back to the interviewer with eyes screaming lots of emotions but can't quite grasp/ I'm just sad that she experienced something like this. Qian unnie's such a great person. /sighs/ She doesn't deserve this.
Who do you feel is most likely the killer? : /smiles a bit/ I have my eyes on two people. But I may be wrong. I might as well just keep it to myself instead. I really don't want to name names. /smirks/
What are you doing in wake of the murders? : /sighs/ I called Kyungsoo if he was at home but there was no answer. /pauses/ I did check and knock on his apartment but still no answer. So, I went down the building because I was looking for Kyungsoo and I thought maybe he went to 7/11.
