Laughing so much right now! Me and my mum ordered a pizza for dinner tonight since there isn’t much food in right now, and the delivery guy tried to steal it! Lmao! That’s never happened to us before.

I was upstairs on my laptop (watching Kpop vids on YouTube of course, what else is there to do in life? Lol) and wondered why the pizza was taking so long to come, so I headed downstairs and decided to get a drink. Making my way to the kitchen I thought I heard a very faint, very quiet knock. I told my mum who didn’t hear anything, but I’ve always had good hearing (all the ‘secret’ conversations I’ve heard, haha) so she went to go check, she opened the door and nothing. No one was there. She was about to close the door when she decided to look down the street, and sure enough there was the delivery guy just starting to dive off! But he saw that she’d spotted him so had to stop and come back. He made some ridiculous excuse that he had to move his car for another (even though my mum had seen there was no car to move for, and he wasn’t in the way of anyone’s driveway). It was obvious what had happened; he knew that my mum had paid for it on her card, so he came over to prove on GSP that he’d been here, knocked as quietly as he could (why he bothered actually knocking at all I don’t know, maybe he felt a little bad about stealing?), then hurried back to his car so he could leave quickly. The pizza place (I won’t name it) was already paid, so he didn’t have to hand them any money and prove he’d given us our pizza. He would just lie and say he’d successfully delivered it, keeping it for himself.

We didn’t complain to the pizza company, we both saw the humour in it and it gave us a good laugh.
