Jessica's side has come out to deny that the former Girls' Generation member is working on an album. Rumors that she would be making a comeback as a singer started up after she officially parted ways with SM Entertainment.

It's true she visited a friend's studio, but there was no talk about an album." One media outlet previously reported that Jessica had wrapped up recording a new track this past June, and she would be promoting the song in China.
