Earlier this month, Tao had released some information regarding his solo debut in China, noting it as his "comeback" on the poster. 

The first poster regarding his debut was released back on July 10, with simply the words "Coming" and July 13 as the possible date as the start of his solo promotions. Three days later on the 13th, the singer uploaded the actual date of his solo debut, which was revealed to be July 23. Fast forward a week, two days before his mini album drops, Tao (promoting as Z.Tao) has uploaded a dramatic teaser video which marks his official return as a solo artist! 

Many things happen in the span of a minute in the short teaser, including Tao being plunged into the depths of a body of water, his face scarred by wounds (possibly from a shipwreck), and washing upon some foreign shore all disoriented and out of sorts. Fans will have to wait until the 23rd to find out what exactly happens to Tao when the full video drops.
