BACKGROUND + "Mike Galanuih Quill. He calls himself 'Blast'. The kid is Star Lord's son" Mike and his five-minutes-younger-twin sister had been born from Peter Quill, a.k.a Star Lord and a expatriate metamorph (shapeshifter) alien living in Xandar called Shi-Nui. Shi-Nui's standard (but not real) appearence was one similar to east-asian-humans, thus her kids find this the most confortable appearence to put on.

Unfortunately, after Shi-Nui had weaned Mike and Mona, she said to Peter that she didn't want the kids. She gave birth to then and took care of them because she was not a monster, but she didn't want to be a mom and thought that would be better that she didn't take care of them, or the possibilities of them not having a happy childhood would be big. This caused a big argument between her and Peter, until he got tired of it and took his kids and went back to traveling the galaxies. So, this was how, at the age of two, Mike and Mona started to live in a spaceship, traveling to the most awesome places of the Universe.

"Life with Daddy is more fun" The first months were hell for Peter since his kids were little monsters that couldn't stay put nor quiet. Mike once succed into pushing the button that opened the cargo door and almost despressurirzed the whole ship. At this same time the Guardians of the Galaxy were needed again, so Gamora, Drax, Groot and Rocket went to live at the spaceship again. When they found out that THE Star Lord had children, they couldn't help but for it. Although they didn't laugh for long since they soon learned that they had to help taking care of the babies if they wanted some peace.

Mike's favorite "uncle" was Rocket. He seemed draw to the big weapons that the racoon owned and maybe to his fluffly tail too. Ok. Let's be honest here, one of Mike's favorite pastimes was pull at Rocket's tail. Or ears. Or any furry parts he could put his little hands on, actually.

So Mike grew up raised by the bunch of lovely misfits that were the Guardians. Peter Quill was surprisingly a awesome father. Funny, protective and most of all, present. He taught Mike how to pilot the ship (but he's better at the gunnery) and how to use plasma guns (the other types of guns were courtesy of Uncle Rocket). With him Mike also learned the value of loyalty and friendship (but that sometimes it was ok to tweak things a little, if for a greater good) and that you should take care of your family, no mater how weird they could be, or how annoying they can get sometimes. Family is always there for you.

"The biggest shock of my life" Mike was always having so much fun and seing so many new things all the time that he never really though about his mother. Especially after when they were ten and Mona confided to him that she though that Gamora was their mother, but she was afraid of telling them this since she was green (yeah, try to understand kid's logic). Anyway, she would always be "Auntie Gamora" to him. But three years later, on one of the times that they would spend some vacation time at Xandar, his sister came crying to him, saying that she overheard their father arguing with someone saying "You don't have ANY right to barging in their lives. Not after you said with everyword that you didn't want them!" and that she had listened enough to understand that this person was their mother. That made Mike run and rush into the room where his father was, just to see a woman that he never had seen before but that he quickly assumed as his mother.

This first encounter was really awkward. The four stayed almost an entire hour without even looking at each other, until Mike got up from his chair and said "We are okay, so you don't have to worry. Dad take care of us really well" and dashed through the door. He soon found Groot, or more like Groot found him, and the dear uncle could fell the boy's pain so he conforted him. Soon Mona came along and that night everyone slept huddled together.

"Oops." Mike lived happily from then onwards, growing up strong and free, he even got to be trained as a "treinee" of the Guardians of the Galaxy. But maybe he had too much freedom. One thing that the twins lack were proper limits and this got painfully visible after they almost blowed up an entire mission just because they couldn't follow properly the orders given to them. Everyone managed to get out safely, but Peter got incredibly mad at his children and decided to sent them to Superhero Academy to see if they would learn how to properly follow orders and deal with responsabilities.
 
POWER(S)/WEAPON(S) + Like his sister, he can change his appearance. But unlike her, that goes to hand-to-hand combat and stealthiness, he's more the type of medium-range combats and explosions. In other words: guns.

Do you count his flirt abilities as powers? Because he's hella good at it. (LOL)
 
ABILITIES + Mike has the same limitations as Mona towards  his metamorph powers. This means that the craziest the look, shorter is the spam of time he can sustain it.

He has four types of guns: his two laser pistols, that he carries in holster in each side of his hips; his two plasma rifles, one for bigger explosions and the other more for a sniper work. And his precious baby, that he got on his 20th bithday from Rocket, a Desintegrator gun.

He can manage himself ok by a short period of time on hand-to-hand combat, but he's main strategy is finishing his opponents before they can reach him.

Because of his inconsequent behaviour is kinda easy attract him to a trap, but he's hard to put down. But he too get strenght in his friends and family and a plus, he's an lucky a*s, so his crazy ideas can work very well (think about Captain Jack Sparrow and Peter Quill put together).

He too was trained on space surviving skills a.k.a useless on Earth the most part of it. He's another one that the quote "You know nothing" can be applied. xD

PERSONALITY + Mike is very brave. He's no afraid of anything and will face off everything that comes his way with a determined look and a smirk on his lips. But that makes him very inconsequent because he will not evaluate the danger and will not care about consequences. He just thinks about the "now". Everything just get worse because he's presumptuous and doesn't know his limits (and he doesn't even listen to people he doesn't trust).

But he's not all cockiness. He has a loyal side that is deep engraved inside him. If he swore his loyalty to you, he can die, but he will not break it. Allied with his bravery, this makes him a person that will protect his loved ones no matter what. And he's very playful. Always making jokes, lightining the mood and maybe causing a little havoc, he's the soul of any fun and you can't NOT smile after just five minutes with him.

One thing though that no one would think he is, is that he's self-conscious. The fact that he was reject by his own mother make him kind of insecure deep inside. That's the reason he's so loyal and protective about the people he cares and that accepted him for who he is. He's grateful to those people.
