So, I guess Sulli is leaving F(x).

Honestly, I am not surprised one bit.

Ever since she went on that "hiatus" everyone knew what her next step was gonna be and Im assuming thats why FX hasn't made a group comeback yet.

What I dont get is....

Why does every idol who quits the group want to get into acting?

Like, good for you Kris and Luhan and Joon

but you really won't be recognized as "the actor from so and so" you'll be recognized as the pop singer.

Idk, I feel like the idols who leave to become actors are better off as singers.

I dont wanna offend anyone by throwing out an idol name /LEE JOON/

but some idols shouldn't be actors.

I mean, in Sulli's case... since FX is the red-headed stepchild in SM

perhaps acting will pay more than singing.

I don't know.

Im just rambling.

What are your feelings?

But Sulli was a child actress before she signed with SM, remember? But yeah, I haven't heard anything about her lately.

Idk why they don't just do both. T.O.P has done acting and has had solo albums but he is still with big bang. Idk why they act like they have to quit one thing to do another.

I feel that there are plenty of idols, whose specialty is acting, uses their 'idol' status as a stepping stone to something bigger. To get publicity and get their name out there if you get what I mean. And it's why I understand there are "veteran" actors who don't like singers-turned-actors because they don't have to work as hard to make a name for themselves as actors. They made a name for themselves as singers first to gain popularity. Of course, not all of them are like that. Some discover what they really want to do in life and make career changes, so good for them. Whatever they want to do with their future, I support them.
