I recently got to 400 subs and was debateing writing a thank you blog post. Then I came on today and saw that it was my one year anniversary on the site so decided to just go ahead and do it! XD

For the special double occasion I will reveal some things about writing my fics, in case any of my wonderful subscribers are curious and pay a visit to this blog.  Also some of these are just generrally insightful for new authors, like myself, who wonder about how others do things.

1.  I refuse to reread my first fic The Truth about Tuan.  With my newer fic I reread it all the time and perform minor grammar and spelling edits as I catch them but even though TTAT is riddled with these problems it's just too embarresing to reread it.  I figure I'll just leave it as a reminder of how far I've come already.

2.  I debated rateing my second fic It's merMAN! Mature vs. just rateing the individual chapters M but since was my ultimate goal I felt it was more honest to just rate it all M.  I also debated adding a crack tag but in the end decided my story had too much plot for that.

3.  Most of the chapter names as well as the title of my second fic are lines from movies.  The exception is chapter 1 which is simply the name of a movie I have never seen, but have heard is awful. 

4.  After I realized I made some chapters too short in my first fic, I decided to aim for each chapter to be 7 pages in word (double space 12p font).  However my longest chapter in my second fic is almost double this.

5.  When I started to write It's merMAN! my main goal was for it to be funny, my second goal was for it to have fluffy , and way down at the bottom of that list I thought I should have a mermaid.  I'm happy that some of my readers are fans of mermaids and say they have been searching for this sort of fic but I am more of a werewolf person, to me making mark a sassy rude merman just sounded like fun.

Okay I think that's enough information that no one asked for lol.  Thank you to all my subscribers from both my fics I apreciate you all and will keep working to improve my future updates.
