Hello, guys! 

First, I'd like to introduce myself. I'm Yeoshin, and my Tumblr URL is whoayifan. I recently worked on a project called #DearSehun, and I plan to do the same thing for Luhan's birthday, hence the half-similar project name, #DearLuhan. To know more about this project, keep reading ;D.

Q: What is #DearLuhan?

A: #DearLuhan is a small project for Luhan's birthday where messages are collected from fans from all over the world, translated to Chinese (by Tumblr user gohomeyixing), and posted on Tumblr, Weibo, and anywhere else where he could hopefully see it. 

Q: What is #DearSehun, and how is it connected to #DearLuhan?

A: #DearSehun is the very first birthday project I've worked on. What I did was collected messages from people on Tumblr, translated those messages to Korean, and posted it online for Sehun and other fans to see. It is connected to #DearLuhan in a way that the same person is behind those two projects and the concept is just similar. The only difference is that since I can't translate to Chinese, gohomeyixing will be with me on #DearLuhan. (To know more about #DearSehun, click here x ) 

Q: How did you come up with #DearSehun and #DearLuhan?

A: I wanted to do make a birthday post for Sehun and publish it on Tumblr. (I'm a Yifan stan and my Exo biases are Kai and Chanyeol, so I never thought that the first birthday project I'd work on is Sehun's.) I noticed that what people usually do for their biases' birthdays is make a gifset or a graphic or an edit then write their message in the caption or have it somewhere in their edits or GIFs or graphics. I wanted to do something different. Instead of having only my message on the post, I decided to feature other fans' messages as well. Instead of having it just on Tumblr, I wanted to post it elsewhere as well, so... yeah. ;D

Somewhere in the middle of working on #DearSehun, I decided to look up which member or ex-member will celebrate his birthday and found out it's Luhan, so I ended up with #DearLuhan.

Q: Are you sure that Luhan will see this?

A: No. There is no 100% guarantee that Luhan will see these messages, but like I always say .1% is always better than nothing at all.

Q: Are you going to be working on other members' birthdays, too?

A: The next member who to celebrate his birthday is Tao, whose birthday is on May 2nd. Four days after that, Baekhyun will be celebrating his birthday. Then on the 22nd day of May, our Leader Suho would be celebrating his birthday. Since their birthdays are quite close to each other, I'm sort of hesitating on working on #DearTao, #DearBaekhyun, and #DearSuho, but I think there is a big chance that I might try to work on these projects, too. Let's just say there's a 40 percent chance of me doing it, and a 60 percent chance of me not doing it.

Q: How can I participate on the #DearLuhan project?

A: Send an ask or a fanmail to me on Tumblr. Again, my url is whoayifan. Please make sure you send it off-anon, so I know who the message is from. ;D The deadline is on April 17th, 7 PM Pacific Time.

If you want to send a message for Tao, Baekhyun, and/or Suho, feel free to do so! We are accepting messages as early as now. Whether I'll do #DearTao, #DearBaekhyun, and #DearSuho depends on the number of people who will participate. Since this is just a small project that one or two people are working on, ew don't really need a lot. (Only I would be working on the Korean members' birthdays, and gohomeyixing would be working with me on the China Line's birthdays so the number of people working on this project depends on the birthday celebrant.)
