*** Some people asked me to upload my account of this, so here it is! I’m sorry, it’s kinda all-over-the-place, and full of rambling and fangirl feels, but there you go!! Last week, I went to Korea to watch BTS BEGINS. I was going for only 6 days (though it was kinda only 4 since 2 of those days were traveling…) It was my first time to go to Korea, and it was super exciting. I speak zero Korean lol, so it was kinda strange, but I didn’t care because I was excited to see the boys in concert. Actually, it would be my 2^nd time to see the boys in concert since I saw them in Tokyo for their Japanese tour.

I had tickets for both days (though we got some ticket drama that I will spare you…) and they were pretty good tix too. On the 28^th, we got standing tix in the front right pit, and on the second day, we were in C2, which was on the first tier of the seated area, dead center. I kinda wanted standing twice, but in retrospect, it was good to be able to experience both.

On the 28^th, my friend and I arrived at the Olympic park around 12. We tried to get there earlier but couldn’t get up in time haha, we were too excited the night before and had gone to bed suuuper late. We got in line for the merch right away, and waited nearly 2 hours in line… I got a Rapmon keyholder, two program books (one for a friend), a towel, and a t-shirt. We wanted to get photosets but they sold out super quick. For the keychains, they sold out quick too, in this order: Jungkook, V, Jimin, Suga… and after I don’t know lol. I’m lucky I stan the less popular members so there was still Rapmon and J-Hope by the time I got there. My friend was so mad cuz Suga (her bias) sold out 3 people before her!!! Anyways. The program book is really cool and has lots of nice pictures in it (lots of Ji-Hope!! Omg!!) and it has info about what kind of students the boys were like in school, which is cute, as well as their ideal performance set list. Oh! And it’s half in English too!! (They are so kind to their international fanbase, these boys… seriously…) The towel is a big white bath towel with all their signatures on it, and the t-shirt is just black and says “BTS BEGINS”.

Oh yeah, I forgot, before getting the goods, we went to pick up our ARMY BOMB!! That you could preorder for the show!! It’s such a cool light stick!! Though the little red tip of my bomb came off during the show while I was in the pit… T_T I’m so sad… anyways…

While we were waiting, there were also lines for all the fansites who had made special round-cardboard-fans or banners for the members. And these lines would appear out of nowhere, with people running to be the firsts to line up at the designated spots…. It was kinda cool and I kinda wanted one but we didn’t get the chance to do it since we wanted the merch more, haha. If I ever go again, I will definitely go earlier so I can get one of those. Also those fans are incredibly useful in the pit, because it’s ING HOT!!!

Outside the concert hall, there were a lot of wreaths made by fangroups from all over the world, with congratulatory messages and big pictures, so we wandered around taking pics with them, there were also big life-size cutouts of each members’ teaser pics and you could pose with them, so we did that. Anyways, I’ll spare you how we killed time till the show started, but we got in line to get in for the standing seats.

They let you in by ticket number; so if you got a low number, you can get in first, and if you got a high number you gotta wait. Anyways, we got in around 4:20pm or something, and it was really bad because we had to wait in the pit, standing up on feet that were already killing me, and squished between a bunch of fangirls who were already pushing and shoving…

I was SO close to the stage, towards the right side. Though in retrospect, I really should’ve headed for the runway that was in the middle of the hall because the boys spent a LOT of time running up and down that area, and when they danced there, I actually couldn’t see it cuz I literally could not turn around, and the screens weren’t always filming… but still. I got to see Jimin’s abs up-freakin-close in No More Dreams!!!! Omg!!!! And I Jungkook often came near to where I was. And Hobi a few times too <3 But it was hard to see cuz I was wearing flat shoes and I’m short. T_T next time: heels!!!

Well basically, the concept of the concert was them going to Junior High School and meeting each-other and being all bad-boys. There was this whole “acting scene” at the beginning where a teacher was yelling at them… (they didn’t do that on the second day) and then there was a VCR of them going to school and meeting and being little badasses and playing music in an old classroom… well anyways, I’m sure you’ve seen it on YouTube by now… I won’t go through the whole concert song by song because honestly it’s all blurred in my head, but I’ll tell you the highlights and what I remember.

First off, they played a whole bunch of predebut/unreleased songs, which was AMAZING!!! They did Born Singer, and Too Much, and We Are Bulletproof pt.1. Like omg, I was so excited. Jungkook sang “Too Much” with Rapmon and it was seriously one of my favorite performances. I really hope they release that version!! Jungkook’s voice is so amazing! And he’s gotten so good!!! Jimin and J-Hope had a dance solo (which I basically saw nothing of, since it was in the middle of the runway, on the floor, and everybody was kinda taller than me… like, seriously… it was good to be close to the stage, but it was kinda awful too because it was really hard to see, and Korean fangirls are really rude. And it was so hot and I was sweating like crazy….

Ok, let me tell you about the members. (First off I should tell you Rapmon and Hobi are my bias, so that when I squeal about another member, you understand the significance!! Lol.) On the first day, Jimin looked crazy hot. Like crazy hot. Oh my. And Jungkook too. He looked really mature, and I was surprised!! V looked the same as always (hot lol) and so did Suga, although he had a new haircut with the sides shaved and his hair a bit lighter blonde/red, and it looks really good!!! Also it makes his piercings stand out and looks cool ^_- Jin was really beautiful in person, and he was so happy for the whole show, smiling a lot and interacting with the fans, and there was one point where he took this girl’s Army Bomb and looked at it, and played with it a bit before giving it back to her!! and Rapmon had his hair kinda high and slicked back (he looked better on the second day, lol) and also interacted with the fans a lot. But Hobi… oh my Hobi… like, he’s my bias ok… but I’ll be the first person to admit he usually doesn’t look very attractive in pictures. I don’t know why but he’s not photogenic for some reason… but in person… OH MY GOD… in person, he is beautiful!!!! Even my friend was really shocked at how different he looks!!! He’s really “pretty”, like a girl almost, but my goodness… and his smile… and the way he dances and moves… everything so crips… well, I couldn’t take my eyes off him at all XD

They played all the usual songs (all the singles) and did two new songs. “Converse High” which is a chill tune that you can bob along to (that kinda sounds similar to “The Stars” from the Japanese album), and another one called “Diss” that I think is probably gonna be their new single because it’s way more catchy. The chorus goes “Wussup! Wussup! A-heuntan-sonyeondan!” XP the dances for both the new songs are really cute/cool, and I’m soooo excited about the comeback! I really want to see what the MV will look like!!!

They had a LOT of talking bits too, like 5 I think, which was good and bad because I couldn’t understand what they were saying at all, since I don’t speak Korean… there was one part though where they said their parents were in the audience and they were so happy and proud. And there were 2, 3 more VCRs. One where they’re talking in a circle about their first impressions of the members, and one where they were showing their audition tapes for Big Hit and a bunch of other predebut dances… it was cool and weird because they didn’t show that VCR on the second day. Actually, I forgot to mention, but there were big huge cameras on these trolleys/hooks at the front and I’m pretty sure they were shooting the concert for a possible DVD release, seeing as those cameras weren’t there on the second day. There’s also a lot of stuff that was cut on the 2^nd day, so that kinda cements my theory.

They ended the show with “Born Singer” and it was so emotional (and I was so tired) that for some reason I just wanted to cry.

On the 2^nd day, we tried to get there earlier, but only managed to do so by an hour, lol, and we missed the photocards again… this time I got a Hobi keyholder (and my friend could get her Suga one) and a hoodie. I didn’t get the hoodie on the first day since there’s only one size, and I am not a skinny girl so I didn’t think it would fit me, but actually, when I tried the t-shirt I bought the day before, it fit, so I thought the hoodie might too!! And it looked soft and fluffy and I wanted it, lol (actually, I’m wearing it now, so it does fit, yay).

We took some more silly pics with the cutouts (lol) and could chill to get in since we were seated this time. Like I said before, we were dead-center on the first tier, and at the end of the runway, there as a platform that was RIGHT in front of us, like SO CLOSE!!!! I was really excited about it, but unfortunately, they only came up that platform twice :( Still, it was good because this time I could actually see all the dances and everything that I’d missed on the first day. Like I said before, it was a little bit weird because there’s some stuff they didn’t show on Day 2. The whole teacher bit at the beginning was cuz by at least 15 min, and there’s 2 VCRs that they didn’t even show at all, and they didn’t do the bit where they “find” the bulletproof vests and put them on… (they just showed up on stage wearing them).

How the members looked. Rapmon looked the best that day I think. His hair was styled differently and his clothes looked really good. Hobi and Suga seemed to have cared less about their hair as they had the day before so they didn’t look as good haha. Jimin and V looked more fluffy than y that day, and Jin and Jungkook looked the same as normal but, omg, Jungkook… stupid illegal fetus… like, there’s a part where they’re all wearing white shirts, and he got so sweaty that his shirt was DRENCHED. Like, the back was completely see-through!!!! Oh my goodness!!! But then they all put on white jackets and we couldn’t see it, haha…

That day I got to see the solo-dances too… and oh, dear lord………… well, I’m sure you’ve all seen that vine of Jimin’s crotch grab by now… let me just remind you that we were sitting DEAD CENTER!!!!! That happened right in my face!!!! I swear, everyone in that concert hall… Jimin stan or not… everybody just ing freaked out when he did that!!! But also, the whole dance itself was really y and amazing. Like, that boy is so talented, honestly… and then Hobi did his dance and it’s a completely different style and there were lazers going off all around him and it was just WOW. Like WOW. My baby slaying so hard. I have no words, honestly.

The rappers also did cypher 1 and 2, and it was really cool. And actually, I really like that they kept splitting off in sub-units of 2 and 3 and 4 members together… it was really nice and gave the other members a chance to rest, I guess. Oh yeah and I think I forgot to say but they also did a Korean version of “like pt.2” with all the hip-s, as you know… actually, I dare you to watch Hobi during that song… or even any song where there are hip-s… he is the most indecent of them all in his movements… dear god…

There were a lot less talking bits that day, and my friend said that they said the same thing as the day before, “please look forward to our comeback, thanks for coming, etc.” oh, and there was this funny part where they all picked up Suga by his hoodie from behind… he looked so little and cute… lol. And at the end, they finished with “Born Singer” again and it was SO INTENSE!!! They sing it on this rotating platform in the center of the runway and it was just like… amazing, and Jungkook started crying omg… and then after they came up on our platform and I could see the tears in his eyes/face and my heart just exploded. Like, how can you not feel your heart break when you see that face and those big giant eyes tearing up??? They all came on the platform one last time, and I tried really hard to catch Hobi’s eye, but failed…. T_T (I was so sad) but I did manage to catch Rapmon’s!! I was screaming “I love you! I love you!!” like a maniac (lol) and waving and he saw me and I think he recognized the words I was mouthing cuz he smiled and pointed little gun fingers at me and I just DIED!! Omg. Oh and when the members came the previous time, V noticed me too and smiled and stuck his tongue out as he was looking at me and I nearly had a panic attack hahaha. V’s just so beautiful. And his smile, it just fills his whole face, like, that boy can’t lie, you just know he feels 100% happy about all the ARMY love he’s receiving.

So yeah, it was pretty much one of the most amazing experiences of my life, XD.

Oh, btw, I don’t have any pictures or fancams because they were being SUPER strict about it. You got no warning. If you got caught, they just kicked you out and deleted your pictures!!! I dunno about the first day, but on the second day, at least 20 people got kicked out!!!! One girl I know got kicked out and I was really shocked!!! So I didn’t want to chance it… but anyways, some people still managed to do it I guess since you can already find a lot of things online…

It was a really, really great concert, and what’s amazing is that it definitely was a concert for the fans, since they performed all these songs that have never been released, and yet, everyone knew all the words…. It was just so amazing to be able to hear all those songs. I really, really hope that they do release a DVD of it, because that would be an amazing memory!!!
