KissMe Fan Author Challenge (Win a prize!)

After several heated (and occasionally borderline idiotic) discussions over the past week regarding pairing viability, I’ve decided to issue a challenge to you lovely fan authors.

The challenge is simple: Write a story involving AJ and Eli as a pairing and make me believe that JaeLi is possible as a romantic (not exclusively ual or friendly!) pairing.

Piece of cake, right?

And for a prize, I’ll offer something I never do. A request of the winner’s choice, up to and including any pairing and content (within reason and common sense), up to the length of 10,000 words. I’ll even write you AU if you really want it. I charge $500 for commissions of that length. I seriously considered offering my car, but let’s face it -- that commission’s worth more than my junker.

So, let me restate:

Challenge: Write a story about the JaeLi (AJ/Eli) pairing and make me believe it’s possible to write them up as a viable romantic pairing.

Restrictions:

- The story must be at least one sentence long. You read that right. No minimum word count. You want to submit a single sentence, go ahead. Want  to submit ten chapters? Be my guest.

- Must be spell checked and edited. Even summary editing is acceptable, so long as some effort has been made.

- Story must be submitted by the author.

- Any rating accepted.

- No AU.

Criteria:

I’m looking for a story that can convince me that the pairing could be viable under whatever circumstances you, the author, come up with. So long as it’s at least vaguely realistic and can make me go, “Huh. Okay, yeah, I could see that.”, that’s all I’m asking for. However, I expect the  story to be faithful to their personalities and other expectations the fandom commonly has for them. Surprise me.

Prize:

A detailed story tailored to your exact specifications and desires, up to and possibly slightly over 10,000 words in length. Any rating. Any pairing. Open to writing most content for you, with the exception of self-harm, abuse, suicide, or related subjects. If you can dream it, I can write it. If you’d like examples of what I write on commission, feel free to check out First Mistake or Inevitable.

This prize will be delivered within two weeks of hammering out all of the details for the winner’s request.

Deadline:

None. I will leave this challenge up until someone fulfills it. First come, first serve. Have at it, ladies.

How to Submit:

You can send me an off-anon ask on Tumblr, message me over on DeviantArt or AFF or send me an e-mail ([email protected]). The story does not have to be published on a website in order to win. I just have to be able to read it.

Hmm. You have certainly piqued my interest with this one. I do love a good challenge after all. haha And JaeLi is definitely one I've never tried before.

Barring schedule constraints and such, consider me working on something. Honestly, if/when I get to working on it, the no-AU will probably be the hardest restriction to work around. lol

Cheers!
