Awkward confession time.

As I’m sure many of you have noticed, a new chapter of Falling in Reverse went up a few days ago. I’m very excited to work more on the story, and I definitely enjoyed plugging away at that chapter, but something just didn’t feel right about it. Ignoring that, I went ahead and posted it once it had been finished, redrafted and edited, just like I do with every other chapter.

Aaaand last night I figured out what was wrong with it. To be honest, I’m not really sure how I managed to do something so incredibly dumb, but it would appear that I wrote half a chapter (literally, half. There’re two other scenes that were supposed to be in there), redrafted that, had someone edit it and posted it, all without noticing that I was missing 5,000 more words on it. You’re probably aware that I keep detailed planning files and the other scenes that were supposed to be in the chapter are right there, already sketched out and waiting to be written. No clue why I finished a whopping total of one scene and thought that was the end of the chapter.

I do plan on correcting that particular, erm, oversight. Not today, but probably by Monday or Tuesday. I apologize for delivering something that was less than stellar and clearly incomplete. I’ll post a notice when I’ve got the chapter up the way it should be.
