OCCUPATION ) Head of the Korean Branch of Weng Corporation
ETHNICITY ) Korean-Taiwanese
NATIONALITY ) Korea, Taiwan (Duel-Citizenship)

FACE CLAIM ) Godfrey Gao
BACK UP FACE CLAIM ) George Hu
APPEARANCE ) He has one tattoo of a phoenix on his back that he got while he and Sung Joon were drunk once. Earrings are something he might have wanted when he was a preteen, but now, he feels they would look tacky and stupid and Kwon hates to look both. His skin looks as if it is perfect because he spends an obscene amount of time on keeping it that way and is usually a pretty clean cut guy. Usually he'll either go clean shaven or will grow his facial hair just enough to make him look rugged and y. Body wise, Kwon is toned and has muscles in all the right places and with a height of 188 cm, he's definitely what most would call tall, dark and handsome or tall, dark and rugged depending on if he decided to shave or not.
STYLE ) Kwon is someone that'll spend the money to get the best quality clothes he can buy. He absolutely loves designer brands, and one will never see him in anything cheaper than say Gucci. He is often seen wearing suits (3 piece suits that have been tailored to fit him perfectly) or other formal clothes. Bright colors are banned from his closet as the brightest thing he has is white and that's not even a color. He often wears shades/colors of greens, maroons, blues, blacks, and greys. He doesn't wear casual clothes often and if he does, they're just as expensive as his suits. Not one for jeans (he has them, but doesn't wear them much, unless he's going clubbing), the most casual thing you'll see Kwon wearing is chinos, button down shirt, nice shoes, and expensive accessories like watches or scarves. The scarves usually make him look like a douchebag, but he has a slight affinity towards wearing them. He is always dressed in a way to flaunt his wealth and status, his clothes easily saying how rich he is (and by extension, how much of a tool he is as well).
Weng Kwon is a charming man who knows what to say and when to say it, his smile and attentiveness making him seem relatively harmless when he actually isn't that way. Because for a guy like Kwon, he'll just pretend he's interested in things when he's really not, especially when it comes to the people that he wants to bed... Yes, you've heard that right, bed. Because he doesn't really care if the girl or guy is interested in this or interested in that, but if they are good looking, don't have many diseases, and will satisfy his urges. Interests, intelligence, and personality don't really mean much to Kwon when it comes to his relationships... One night stands really, because he'll just have with them anyway.
Shallow to the highest degree, Kwon takes special care in how he looks and how he appears to others, as well as being a judgemental bastard to those that are ugly (to anyone really, especially to those that aren't that smart either). Because if his conquests don't look good, then he's definitely not doing them. Looks are important and Kwon isn't afraid to say that. And if he ends up thinking the person is attractive, then he'll do his best to get into their pants, but once he's done doing that, then the conquest is over and he'll move onto the next person. The short chase is the best part of his games, especially since people realize how much of a player he is, but they somehow fall for his charms eventually.
He's a seducer who's addicted to power and control that is given whenever he can manipulate someone into his bed or even doing his bidding for work, school, or other things in his life. He likes being the top dog and knowing that he can play with people as much as he wants, it makes him feel powerful and on top of the world. he loves to feel that way, because when he's in control and knows that he's getting his way, he knows exactly what is going to happen and he can act according to that.
Being somewhat of a people person (at least when it comes to charming others or when he needs to be), he can read people relatively well and eventually get them to basically eat out of the palm of his hand. With just a smile, a few words of kindness, and showing others a well acted empathetic nature, he'll give people what they want - or, at least what they think they want, while in reality, he's just doing a service for himself. He's a grade a manipulative bastard who will use his face and pretty words to get him far, especially when he doesn't take no for an answer. Because he doesn't care about the consequences of how many hearts he breaks, how many people he wrecks, but what the person can give to him instead.
He doesn't have to trust people, to tell them the truth, or even lean on them, because all he has to do is make them respect him enough for them to do the work he wants or for them to do things he just plain wants to do like have . But even then, his relationships never last long, and most times, he loses interest fast and dumps them whenever he wants. No one really interests him enough for him to ever have true friends or people he loves. Even his family is something he detaches himself from because he just doesn't want to deal with them and their .
However, if there was one thing to take home from this mess is that even though he's an , he's at least someone that doesn't cheat others by cheating on his significant other with other people. So if he finds himself interested in someone and wants to have with him, he'll literally just call or text the person he's dating and tell them straight up it's over so he can go onto his next conquest with a peaceful mind.
Besides his Casanova ways, Kwon isn't one to take no for an answer or lie down dead as the world continues to turn, especially when it comes to things like his life. He's driven and he'll do anything to be successful and make it big and make himself known. Because even though he has money and his parents don't always approve of him, he wants them to know that he can be just as successful and famous just like his brother was. He's literally a shark when it comes to being the driving force of getting his way, even if he has to step on others to do so.
He's rather selfish like that, and paired with his intelligence, it's easy to say that Kwon will do anything to come out on top, especially if he has to use his words and intelligence to get through things unscathed and come out better on the other side. Materialistic and having the mindset that he deserves the best in life, you'll never see Kwon humble himself when it comes to his looks, what he has, and how successful he is and how successful he is going to be in the future.
If he wants something, then it's his... No ifs, ands, or buts about it. He gets his way or the highway, unless it's something that pertains to the family business and even then he had tried to figure out ways to screw his older brother for getting something that he had always wanted (even though now, he has what his brother had when he had been alive). He knows what he wants and isn't afraid to get it or fight dirty, because Kwon is a passionate and spiteful person by nature. He doesn't take well to losing and has a win-win mindset that often presents itself in his life, his daily life, his work, etc...
And because of this confidence and how he lives his life, Kwon is a very egotistical person, and often likes to brag to his friends or potential lovers about his success. He's rich, good looking, has a great personality (or so he thinks) and he's just living the life the only way he can, and that's by taking everything bad about himself, about people in general and being the bad guy. His family already thinks that way, so why not embrace his tiness, his selfishness, and ego for what they are and then times it by a thousand. Because that's how Kwon rolls.
However past the arrogance, there does lie an insecure boy who's just looking for love and acceptance, something he's never really had when he was young and definitely doesn't get now either. So to protect himself, he becomes the biggest jerk who only cares about himself and his needs, even though he can care for others (but they're on a list so small that it almost seems as if he doesn't care for people at all). His behaviour literally acts as a wall of defense to keep people out and from knowing how vulnerable and insecure he really is, something he never wants anyone to see.
By bringing attention to his intelligence, his player ways, and the other things he does in life, he lets people think what they want, because if they think awful thoughts of him, then they don't expect things from him. Sure they may do things for him and he may have with a lot of them, but most find that the shouldn't expect much from him and if they do expect something, then they are quick to learn not to. Because to most, people can't see past his bad behavior and attitude to those around him. All they see is his negative attributes, even though underneath those, he can be caring sometimes and do things people don't really expect him to do. Because once you get past his defences, Kwon is quite loyal and latches himself on to you like a koala bear, afraid to let you go. And because he doesn't let many people in, his attention may seem stifling sometimes, always going out of his way to make sure the people he cares about are taken care of and are healthy and whatnot, these people get to see a different side to him. They get to see beyond the mask he shows others and realize that even though he may be one cocky son of a , Kwon has plenty of feelings too, he just hides them better than most.
PAST ) Weng Jonathon expected his oldest son Weng Jaesun to take over the business, but due to his premature death, his youngest and only son now, Kwon was given the job. That fact being something that Kwon never expected to get while his brother was alive as he had expected to live his life as second best and be somewhat of the black sheep of the family or eventually create his own business and be even better and richer than his father ever was. Because while his brother was being trained so he could take over the business, Kwon was stuck to his own devices.
Forced into boarding schools and finding himself rather bored of the curriculum and those around them, Kwon had often acted out. School wasn't challenging and he often got good grades easily and most people were either afraid of him or stayed away, hoping to not make him mad or cause him to bully them or wreak havoc on their lives. Because during high school, he was a bit of a bully and manipulated people to do things for him to make his life more fun, especially since the only way for him to have fun was for him to come up with ways himself.
And not having the best relationship with his family, his father, Kwon wasn't the best person when he was younger. Taking out his anger and boredom on unsuspecting individuals, Kwon became used to using people and doing things that would make most people abhor him. But due to his good looks and somewhat charming ways, Kwon was usually able to keep out of trouble. But when it came to people he wanted to bed, something he started doing the end of his freshmen year of high school, using as a way to forget his problems, Kwon learned to manipulate others quite well by learning how to be charming, read people, and use his knowledge and wealth to his advantage.
Being the black sheep of the family, but still wanting to prove many things to his father, Kwon made sure he did well in school and learned things that would help him in the business world during his on time. But when it came to his free time, Kwon found himself partying, having , drinking, and other various things to mask his problems and make himself appear as someone that didn't care and potentially harm his father's reputation. Because by that point, he was young and hated how his father barely looked at him while his brother got all of the attention and the best way to get attention was to act out. Because negative attention was better than no attention at all.
However, by college, he started growing up, at least a little bit, because he was finally at the age where he could be taken seriously. But after years of being the bad boy, of doing things like partying, drinking, etc... It was hard to stop and not wanting people to know the real him, he kept on doing it, even if he was smarter about the things he did. But it wasn't until his brother died that things changed and he found himself into the business. But instead of him getting it for his own merit, he got it because his brother died.
And even if he underwent training, finished his degree, and was making something of himself, his father still held some sort of detachment towards him. And seeing that detachment and seeing it as dissappointment, Kwon was going to do his best to show his father that he could do the job, that he could be better than his brother, that he could be the best. But old habits die hard and even though he was in a respectable position, he was still the same Kwon from high school and college, still the same Kwon that had a bad relationship with his father and became an to protect himself from other people, unable to trust others that well. Because he may have the money, he may have the looks, but he never had the loved he needed.
PRESENT ) Kwon lives on his own in a penthouse suite apartment while he works at the Korean branch of his family's company, learning the ins and outs of the business so that he can eventually take over it. But on his own, he lives as a bachelor and his apartment looks as if it was meant to be shown off and Kwon shows it off a lot... Well at least his bedroom that is. Which drives his personal assistant crazy because he should not have to show up at his boss' apartment to see his boss and in bed with some random woman or man for what feels like the thousandth time since he's gotten his position.
And as much as Myungsoo scolds his boss, he never changes and does what he wants anyway. Which drives him insane, because Kwon does the same to him at work since Kwon hates how his father hired Myungsoo in the first place and feels as if Myungsoo's keeping tabs on him. Which is partly true in the sense that he's giving Kwon's father some updates every so often on how Kwon is doing, how he's taken to running the business and keeping up with his health since despite how much Kwon dislikes his father, his father still worries about him and wants to know how he's doing. But Kwon just thinks that Myungsoo is telling his father how irresponsible, untrustworthy, and how terrible he's doing with the business, when that really isn't the case. But since Kwon doesn't know that Myungsoo's actually not that bad of a guy that he thinks he is, he likes to treat his personal assistant like hell because he feels like Myungsoo's in cahoots with his father due to his father being the one to promote Myungsoo to being Kwon's personal assistant in the first place. But really, Myungsoo was only promoted because Kwon's father thought the young male would be able to balance his son out with his bright and kind nature. But Kwon just hates him, even if the guy's one attractive little bugger that totally plays into the fantasies that he has.
When he's not doing that, he's either enjoying the nightlife or picking up attractive people for the night. Basically doing his new year's resolution of causing hell and broken hearts wherever he goes.
TRIVIA )
They've never had a good relationship and when Kwon's brother was alive, they either ignored each other or Jonathon would take his anger out on his son for doing the things he did. After his oldest son's death, he tried to be a better father towards his son, but there is too much bad blood between them. However, for the sake of the company, the two work as well as they can together, using others to facilitate their conversations when they can or using email to do most of their talking. However, Jonathon does take it upon himself to visit his son while he's in Korea every couple of weeks to check up on his son. He always says its for business, but in reality, he does care a lot for Kwon, he just doesn't show it well. While Kwon just gets pissed because he doesn't want to see his father that often, especially when his father has done nothing for him as a child, always giving his attention to his older brother, a thing that hasn't changed even after his brother died.
They don't talk much and when they do, it's simple emails or minute phone calls where they ask each other how they're doing. Kwon has never been close to his mother and never will be, but he does feel that she is a good wife to his father (which will most likely change once the news of her affair gets out, but could that possibly be a way for him to bridge the gap between himself and his father), even if she's not a good mother to him and hasn't been to him since he was young. (But even then, he didn't have many memories of his mother or father being kind or loving towards him.)
When he was alive, Kwon basically ignored his older brother for the sake of not wanting to deal with him, being quite jealous of his position and status. Now, after the man's death, Kwon is sad to see him go, but without his death, Kwon wouldn't have gotten as far as he is today. (*Note: his brother died after the first year of college for Kwon, so Kwon was about 19-20 when the man died.)
FRIENDS )
At first the two were rivals during college but eventually became friends, then lovers throughout their time at school. However, due to neither wanting to settle down (Hyojung more than Kwon) and just wanting to go in different directions when it comes to what they want to achieve in life, they broke up. However, they're still quite close and will get together from time to time, usually their nights ending in whenever they do meet up. But due to Hyojung's being in town for the next year or so, taking some time for herself, the two have been able to meet up a lot more often and do things that normal friends do rather than friends with benefits. Because she is staying town, Hyojung has also met Myungsoo multiple times and thinks the world of him and will often drive Kwon crazy with how nice she treats him and will usually scold Kwon to stop being such a bastard to him. She's also the one that realizes how much Myungsoo likes Kwon as well and keeps that fact a secret until Kwon realizes how much he likes the other too, especially since his new years resolution is to always be a bachelor and never settle down, at least not anytime soon. But unlike his relationship with Hyojung where it was more based on passion than the two actually liking each other in a way that could have caused the two to get married, Kwon actually likes Myungsoo and cares about him a lot more than he would like to admit. But he just doesn't know how to deal with his feelings and has been covering them up with his need to terrorize his personal assistant.
Being one of his brother's friends that had been on the outs with before his death, the two ended up getting closer after the death of his brother. Kwon had been one to immerse himself in his bad habits a lot more than usual and Choongjae had managed to keep him from going to far and ended up extending a hand to him while the two grieved. They may have had bad relations with Kwon's brother at the time of his death, but they ended up becoming friends as they overcame their grief. Kwon looks up to Choongjae as if he's his real older brother, while Choongjae does his best to look after the younger man, even if he can't exactly keep the man from the stunts that he likes to pull when he isn't working
OTHERS )
Kim jongdae // kim nari
RELATIONSHIP STATUS ) Personal assistant and boss
BIRTHDATE & AGE ) March 13, 1990 & 24
OCCUPATION ) Personal Assistant to Kwon
OVERVIEW ) Myungsoo's softspoken and quite positive (the only time people don't see him with a smile is when he's with Kwon, and even then, he smiles a lot more than most), but secretly opinionated individual who usually keeps most of his thoughts to himself. He'll usually go above and beyond for others, even if he doesn't really want to. He's a bit spineless sometimes, but it's not because he's a pushover (he is), but because he doesn't want to rock the boat. He doesn't like confrontation and doesn't like it when people fight or see him as a bad person. He wants people to think that he does his job well, is smart, and is the type of person that people can count on. Except that can't always be the case and he's quick to learn that there are people out there that can totally drive him nuts to the point that he will talk back and get angry (Kwon being one of those individuals that literally lights his ire and gets him pissed).
He can be a bit awkward sometimes (he blushes rather easily and can stumble over his words a bit depending on who he talks to, especially if it's pretty girls, something of which Hyojung likes to poke fun at), but his smile and positive and kind attitude shines above that awkwardness and makes him approachable. Not much of a pessimist, even though there have been plenty instances in his life that could have easily made him so (like the death of his mother a couple of years ago), he's usually one to look on the brightside. He's a person to give it his all and do his best when it comes to work and cultivating his relationships with others. (He may not have had as much of an easy time in America, where he originated, but in Korea, he's more liked and finds that he's able to be friends or at least make aquaintances better.)
Usually not one to let anger get the better of him, most people will never see Myungsoo angry (unless you count him getting angry at Kwon, but he makes everyone angry). But when he does get mad, he does have a bit of a temper and almost seems like a different person. He seems more passionate and lively compared to how he usually is, especially when he actually shows his true feelings rather than just going with the flow like he usually does. But since he doesn't get angry often, most people don't know how he can get and even when he does get angry, he gets angry around Kwon and people juat automatically asume that it's Kwon's being a bastard to him and driving him to the point where he's not so sweet anymore. (Only Jessica - best friend, his father - Kim Junghwan, and now Kwon know of his somewhat volatile temper (and it is volatile at times because Myungsoo will throw things, slam his fist on the table/wall/floor/etc..., and he will get quite loud and will actually swear and use insults that would probably make a few people cry, but since Kwon is used to that type of stuff, they jsut make Kwon laugh), especially since Kwon loves to see him get angry and pissed for some odd reason.)
A bit naive when it comes to things like love and his relationships, Myungsoo believes that he should give his ity to someone he loves and cares for instead of a one night stand, something of which Kwon shakes his head at since he doesn't see as anything more than jsut . He's a bit of a romantic and will go the extra mile when he likes someone. But ever since moving to Korea, he hasn't had a chance to really go out and meet anyone since being his boss' personal assistant is literally a 24/7 job.
Overall, he's a pretty positive guy that does his best to go with the flow, smile on his face.
FIRST MEETING ) Myungsoo was just doing some of Taeyeon's work for Kwon, never really have met the guy except for in passing, when he had met Kwon and his father. Just minding his own business, Myungsoo just expected to get his work done, filling out paperwork and setting up a few things for the meeting the two had later that day. Kwon's father noticing the young man doing more than he was supposed to when it came to setting things up, making sure people would be comfortable during an important meeting, Kwon's father had asked him who he was. Jumping at the other's words, Myungsoo softly but brightly explained what he was doing, using sheer enthusiasm to hide the fear that had gone through him for being singled out by the CEO. The older man finding him to be quite responsible, bright, and seemed to be a positive person compared to his son, the man promoted him to be Kwon's personal assistant. Abhorred at the idea of Myungsoo being his assistant, Kwon had put up a fuss, only for his father to not budge on his decision. Plus, having Myungsoo be his son's personal assistant, it gave him a way to check up on his son when he wasn't there. However, butthurt by the decision, Kwon can't help but be a bit antagonistic towards the younger male from then on. While Myungsoo can't help but be confused and a bit scared of what happened, but being the hardworker he was and knowing that he needed the money to pay off his school debts, he became the other's assistant, but weeks later, he regrets doing such a thing.
RELATIONSHIP ) Kwon usually likes to make fun of Myungsoo and make his life a lot harder than it is. He usually harrasses the boy and gives the other a lot of work to do because he can and doesn't really like that his father had decided on doing something like this for him. However, Myungsoo is able to take whatever Kwon throws at him and does it well that eventually Kwon can't help but be impressed by the other's work ethic and ability to withstand him. (This fascinates Kwon because while most people would have given up if he had done something like this to them, Myungsoo constantly surprises him by putting up with his behavior, even if the younger constantly gets riled up and curses him.) While Myungsoo is this constant ticking time bomb that is just waiting to happen, because it's only a matter of time until the work and Kwon's attitude towards him piles up and he really snaps at the older man, showing how angry and pissed off he can be. Because as much as the little outbursts that Myungsoo does display, they're quite small to what could eventually happen if Kwon continues to do what he does. Because even though Myungsoo can be a bit of a pushover, he can fight back when he needs to and kick someone where it hurts, and Kwon will be one of the few to actually see that. Especially when Myungsoo can't help but find a small part of himself liking the older man and actually falling for him during the few vulnerable and human moments that Myungsoo has been able to see so far when it comes to Kwon. While Kwon can't help but feel things for the younger man no matter how hard he tries to tell himself that he doesn't and that he should hate Myungsoo on principal.
There really is a thin line between hate and love, but it's been a couple of months since this whole thing started and it's only a matter of time until one of them stops fighting their feelings, coming to terms to what they feel, and actually wanting to do something about the other in terms of their relationship. Kwon ending up being the one to do so, going back on his new years resolution of wanting to stay a bachelor, and actively trying to court Myungsoo. Only for Myungsoo to be even more confused about everything in the process, especially since wasn't it just a couple of weeks ago where Kwon was treating him like crap for just trying to do his job.
CONCLUSION ) Dating.
TRIVIA )
(Hopefully this doesn't sound confusing and isn't too much of a stretch from your story with what I've been trying to create with these two.)
SCENE SUGGESTIONS ) ⇢ Hyo Jung and Kwon hanging out together, eating dessert, watching movies, and being playful together, something that neither of them really show anyone else. Maybe even bringing Myungsoo into the fold one time, only for Myungsoo to dart out of the apartment because he has two super intense people wanting him to hang out with them (one of them being his not-crush), their actions causing him to freak out. While Hyo Jung will just laugh because that's what she expected in the first place.
⇢ Sung Joon and Kwon talking about things, maybe Kwon asking Sung Joon what he thinks about certain things in his life like his father trying to make it up to him or his crush on Myungsoo or the fact that Hyo Jung and him have so much history together that they could easily get together but their personalities may be too volatile for them to have a relationship for long. Kwon getting drunk while Sung Joon eventually has to take care of him and totally laughs at the fact that even though Kwon pretends be cool and awesome and tough that he can be like a little kid when extremely drunk.
