A new day shines through the window of Taeyeon’s bedroom. She opens her eyes and stares at the ceiling for a second and then realizes her daughter is not in bed. She quickly looks at the clock in the bed side table, it reads 7:45 am and she bolts out of bed to look for Emily. – “Emily sweet pea, where are you?” she calls while she runs to the other room only to see the kid is using the phone.

- “Hey… what are you doing up already? You scared me when I didn’t see you on the bed”

 – "I want to talk to mommy”

Taeyeon sits next to Emily and hugs her - “I know sweetie but she’s probably busy, let’s not disturb her for now, we’ll call her later” Taeyeon takes the phone from the tiny hand and leans back in the bed hugging her. After a few minutes Emily speaks

– "Good morning mom” and Taeyeon smiles.

There’s silence and Taeyeon feels the weight of Emily being more relaxed, the kid is asleep and she falls asleep again with her. An hour passes when they wake up again

- “Good morning sweetie”, she kisses her check, - “How did you sleep”.

– “...Well” after the short answer Taeyeon knows the little one is still thinking about Tiffany and to keep her mind busy proposes a breakfast of pancakes, the kid cheers up and the plan seems to work, she’s grateful for that.

She thinks about Tiffany suggestion while she’s in the kitchen cleaning the dishes and decides to let Sunny rest. She’s being coming the last couple of days, helping her looking out for the kid and entertaining her, “I might convince YoonA to tell a story to Emily, I really hope she’s not that busy today” Taeyeon types a quick message to YoonA
 

- “Hey do you mind coming by today and hang out with us? A reply comes soon after

 – “G-morning Taeyeon. Of course, I will go after almuerzo, is that okay?”
- Sure, think of a story of Tiffany’s to tell Emily, btw.”

- “What? O.o Why?”

Taeyeon snorts and ignores the text. She is about to walk to Emily’s room to look for clothes for the kid when she decides to send another text

• “<3 really hope your day was more than okay. Somebody misses you. I’ll see you soon love” She smiles and resumes her task.

The morning passes without a glitch and Taeyeon thanks is Saturday and she doesn’t have work to do. Emily seems to be enjoying herself with a puzzle game. Everything goes well in the household.

Later that day there’s a knock at the door, Taeyeon leaves Emily to finish the new puzzle and goes to open the door. YoonA is standing there, she greets her with a hug and a pat on her cheek

– “Hey thank you for coming I know you’re busy”

– “It’s no problema” YoonA says with a funny accent

– What?  Taeyeon snorts and makes way for YoonA to enter

- Nothing, I am learning Spanish”.

YoonA leaves Taeyeon at the door and goes straight to the couch. Emily takes one look at her and pounces her, YoonA laughs, “it was totally worth it not going to the restaurant today”.

– “Hey little missy, look at you all grown up!”

– “Aunt Yoong, you are old too now”. Taeyeon laughs while she sits on the floor looking at the pair

- “Hey now, we have this agreement: I don’t talk about your age, you don’t talk about mine." They all laugh and then YoonA speaks again – “so what’s new, when is Tiffany coming back?”

- “Oh, in two days, we talked yesterday for a short while, she says hi by the way”, Taeyeon smiles at that part. – “it was her idea to call you- not that I wouldn’t have!” Taeyeon quickly says when YoonA starts to make a funny glaring face –“besides you’re busy with the restaurant”  

- “Oh well I am glad she suggested this, I need a break and seeing this cute face here is totally worth it” Emily grins at that, says she will play in her room and leaves the two adults alone. YoonA sees the kid enter the room and lays down on the couch

– So. How are you doing, how’s the restaurant coming along?” Asks Taeyeon after a few seconds of silence and her collecting the puzzle pieces on the floor

YoonA sighs, probably tired, she looks at the ceiling - “Oh you know, always the start of something is messy. The place should have been painted yesterday and it was, but these people are really trying to make me lose my hair. They painted the place this hideous shade of pink, I almost threw a fit..” at this point YoonA is no longer laying down, she’s pacing the living room and making gestures with her hands expressing her frustration, and Taeyeon is trying not to smile. YoonA in this state was an amusing sight because the younger woman is, most of the time, calm and collected.

 YoonA keeps venting her frustration and Taeyeon listens attentively “… and I bought the paint precisely for this not happen!, so how did they get a different color, do they think I am Tiffany to like that pink on the walls. And is a restaurant! did they not think it was odd! I mean – why are you smiling Taeyeon?! This is serious!”

Taeyeon can no longer keep her laughter down – “I am sorry but is bizarre seeing you all upset over a color that yes it was not what you asked for and yes they are at fault. But! don’t let that get you. Relax today, don’t think about it, you fixed that “problema” already knowing you like I do”

- “I did, of course I did. And yes you are right”. YoonA takes deeps breaths the releases it slowly and unceremoniously plops on the couch again

– “you are right, I am going to relax and not think about walls wrongly painted” she huffs.  There’s few seconds of silence and then suddenly YoonA starts to laugh, Taeyeon is confused

– “what’s so funny?”

YoonA looks at Taeyeon with a grin now – “I have a story to tell to your daughter now!” she almost hollers in excitement.

- “Oh, so you did thought of something, What about?”

- “About her first marriage!” YoonA laughs again and Taeyeon stares at her bemused.
