Wedding Crasher
Description
People get married once in their life. There’s the possibility of divorce and remarrying, but your first wedding will always be the most memorable one. Well, for me, that’s what I think.
Today was my best friend’s wedding. Just between you and me, I’m in love with her, but she’s marrying our mutual friend, Changmin. Yep, she’s straight, he’s straight, I’m not so straight.
I wish I could be happy for them, but doing so would be lying to my heart. How could I go through today, knowing that I’m going to lose her to someone else? How can I expect to smile and congratulate her for her marriage when I can’t even speak up the three words that I’ve been so longing to say to her?
And that is why I’m standing outside of the church. My fingers are trembling and I’m sweating in this baby pink dress of mine.
“God, I can’t believe I’m doing this.” I start lifting my legs up and down, pumping myself for what I’m about to do. It might be the worst idea I’ve ever come up with, but it might be the most brilliant idea in disguise. Take the risk or regret not doing it for the rest of my life.
As Nike’s slogan says, “Just do it!” I shout as I push the church doors open. I’m running in these five-inch heels like a madwoman and everything is going by like a blur because all I can think about are these five words…
“I object! Don’t marry him!” I’ve finally stopped running, catching my breath as I lean my hands onto my legs. When I lift my head up to face my best friend and her groom, I’m left with my mouth hanging open.
“Y-You’re not Bora.” I realize dumbly, staring wide-eyed at the two female brides. Then I turn to the guests and do not see a familiar face in here.
Holy crap! I crashed the wrong wedding.
