In A Daze

A/N: The italic had some problems? I don't know. Maybe it's because I moved the chapters. I'll change it back next time. Anyway, here's an update. I feel so illiterate, so I'm sorry for any grammatical errors. I really do type these stuff at dawn so there's a possibility that I'm sleepy or something. And also, I didn't proofread on this chapter properly. I want to finish this story before August 17th, because Wontaek debut and I feel like I'll be busy around twitter or tumblr. Lol. I hope you anticipate, I'm nearly at the end of the story. Enjoy!

"Thank you, Hyuk-ah.." she mumbled, on the phone with Hyuk. "Did you get back to the dorm safely?"
"Eung, I did. I'm lying on my bed right now."
"Off to sleep?"
"Yes."
"Alright, then you should rest."
"Uh, wait, Hyuk?"
"What is it?"
"I-I'm sorry if I got you involved." Hyuk chuckled lowly.
"That's nothing."
"Really?" her voice suddenly subdued.
"Yeah, I just hope everything gets better with you and Sungjae."
She could only nod. "Well, I'll be—" he discontinued by the sound of an audible yawn from Namjoo.
"You should sleep already." he chuckled again.
"Sing me to sleep then."
"Isn't is supposed to be the opposite? Since you have the better voice?"
"Do I? Come on, Hyukkie. Please?" she started whining like a little kid.
Hyuk sighed. "Fine, fine. Just stop with the whining. It's not cute."
"Yay~" she giggled softly.

Hyuk hummed to this song and soon started chanting lyrics.

‘ Saying I love you with words might not be enough but
Still I will confess to you today
I wanna be with you, always from a step behind you
Don’t forget there’s a person who will protect you

"Namjoo?" he paused, realizing that she's already asleep.
"Next time you'll sing me to sleep."

Hyuk arrived in class the next day, Sungjae sitting on his chair.
"Hey! It's Hyuk!"
"What are you doing?"
Sungjae scoffed a bit. "Why are you so serious? You weren't this serious with everything before."
"Well you weren't this annoying before."
"Are you trying to say something?"
"No." He responds as he was sitting down.
"Well—"
"Good morning Hyuk!" A cheerful greeting cut him off.
"Here's a juice drink for you." It was Namjoo, handing out a can of juice.
"Is that mine?" Sungjae insisted.
"No! It's Hyuk's." She pouted a bit and handed it to Hyuk directly.
Hyuk smiled back and thanked her.
"How about me then?" The other guy frowned. Hyuk glanced at her when she obviously stiffened.
Namjoo stared at him like that and finds her heart still beating fast at the sight of Sungjae.
"Here, h-have it then." She gave her own can of juice and strided back to her seat, looking down.
Hyuk rustled heavily.
Sungjae—who luckily didn't heard his heavy sigh—chuckled and turned to Hyuk once again.
"So.. you seem to be in really good terms with Namjoo recently. Enjoying her company?"
"She's my friend. Obviously, that's enough reason for us to be in good terms and enjoy each other's company."
"Are you sure you don't have feelings for her?" Sungjae, trying to squeeze something out from Hyuk.
The latter looked at him and let out a small chuckle and earned a confused look from the other.
"I'm sure. Besides, even if I do like her—which is impossible—she won't look at me back the same way."
"Because she likes me, and only me I guess?" Sungjae confidently said.
Hyuk shrugged. "Maybe."
"Oh yeah, I have something to give you after class." Sungjae spoke, ignoring the other's cold response.
"What?"

The bell rang suddenly after that.

When class ended, Sungjae quickly sprinted out of their room. Namjoo's eyes at him as he did and gave a soft inaudible sigh. Her sight soon shifted as she saw Hyuk walking towards her, asking her if she needs a walk back to the dorm. The girl smiled vaguely at him and nodded in response. They grabbed their bags and walked out the room. Despite other people's eyes locked at them as they head out together, Hyuk gave a comforting eyesmile with a pat on her shoulder. "Don't mind them.", he mouthed. Namjoo felt reassured and smiled brightly this time. "Thank you." she muttered softly but just right for Hyuk to hear.

Just when they got outside, Sungjae called Namjoo's name loudly and came running towards her. The latter gripped on the side of Hyuk's uniform—which he evidently felt and knew—trying to withdraw from their place but Hyuk didn't let her. She looked at him and the guy raised his brows to tell her that she should answer him.

"W-what is it?" she asked, afraid to look him straight in the eyes.
"Here." he smiled at them, presenting a pretty, scented envelope. "It's Joy's birthday this upcoming weekend. I would like to invite the two of you."
Hyuk glanced at Namjoo who was still avoiding eye contact. "I'm not sure." he replied.
"Come on, please?"
"I have a lot—"
"W-we'll go..." the girl stuttered, quickly grabbing the invitation from Sungjae.
The latter grinned widely. "I knew you won't resist. Thank you, Namjoo!" he retorted loudly, patting the girl's head.
"A-alright.." she mumbled in her softest voice, striding out from his sight and pulling Hyuk with her.

"Why'd you told him we'll go?"
"He'll just pester us to come if I didn't said that."
"Are you going?"
"I don't know."
"You shouldn't go if you don't like to."
"If I don't...." Namjoo gave a fake smile, stopping her own tears to fall. "People will talk about me right?"
Hyuk, looking at her, concerned. But he didn't want to jump in to comforting her, he didn't want her to feel sorry and pity herself.
"They'd just make issues out of it again. Just because it's Sungjae's girlfriend's birthday, his best friend who likes him doesn't appear when she's obviously invited to go." she sniffed. "What do you think, Hyuk?" she added.
The guy couldn't say anything for a few seconds—or minutes.
"I know." he smiled, hatching an idea. Namjoo looked at him curiously.
"Let's go to the party. I'll be your and I promise, you'll be prettier than the birthday celebrant." he smiled at her.
The girl laughed, again, the first today. "What?! Are you crazy? Do you think you're good at those?"
"Good at what?"
"Like girls' stuff? Makeup, dress, hair?" Hyuk could only laugh with her but he was serious.

The next day after class, he took her downtown to check on some dresses she can wear and some other things they can buy for the party. Streets playing this song. They went inside a certain boutique that Namjoo already seems to already have her eyes on for long. With a fairytale theme, Namjoo went around, picking out some dresses. Hyuk helped out a bit but turns out he kept suggesting dresses that are either too revealing or has some—or too—flashy colors. Namjoo giggled, mentioning how he's so expressive with his suggestions and questioned if he like these kinds of revealing dresses for a girl. Hyuk flushed a bit and chuckled nervously saying he was just playing around, wanting to make her laugh. The girl looked at him and mumbled a sweet thank you, smiling widely.

After picking out some dresses, trying them and going in and out of the fitting room, Namjoo can't help but be undecided of what she likes. It's either they're all too pretty for her or doesn't suit her, she thinks. Hyuk kept complimenting how she looks good in all of them but the girl seem a bit peeved and well, confused. She got inside the fitting room for once last time to try on the last dress and when she came out, Hyuk was sure he saw sparkles all over her. His eyes wandered on her from head to toe. She wore that beautiful white balloon dress, with elegant but simple lace details and a pink ribbon around the waist that accentuates her shape well, perfectly.

"Hyuk? Hey, Hyuk?!" Namjoo had to call him for five times—or at least—to get him back to his senses.
She giggled. "Does this look okay?
"M-more than okay," he smiled. "Not a hair out of place."
"Really, really?!" she beamed, flushing a bit.
Hyuk chuckled nervously and glanced down. "Sorry. But you just really look pretty in that dress."
"Then this is the one."
The guy nodded. "But if you think there's a better one you wore earlier, then—"
"No, I like this a lot too." she smiled, looking down at the dress and even twirling a bit.
He smiled. "I guess you're not that bad at picking a dress for a girl." she snickered.
I have a pair of shoes to go perfectly with this.

After purchasing the dress, the two headed out looking for a place to kill time for the meantime. They came by an accessory shop, a gift shop and took a good look around. The place was playing this song. Namjoo found cute bits of hair accessories that she thought could be awesome to go with the dress. Hyuk just kept giving her smiles and compliments everytime she tries on the cute stuff. She even teases the other by putting clips on his hair, insisting him to wear this and that, even taking candid pictures as he put them on his hair in front of the mirror.

Just then, when everything was going well, Sungjae and Joy arrived at the same store. Joy quickly noticed Namjoo and called her. The latter's smiling face faded to a wee smile, it was still there but she really didn't feel comfortable seeing them together. She just had to smile, or else Joy will think she isn't happy about seeing them—not that she is. She greeted her and gave a wave before walking towards the couple, obviously pulling Hyuk behind. He kept a smile.

"Hey, Namjoo. Why didn't you say you're going to buy your dress and check on accessories today? We should've gone together instead. Mr. short-tempered here didn't want to come with me if I didn't compelled him." she said, pouting and referring to Sungjae.
"Mr. short-tempered...?" Namjoo asks.
The other girl nodded. "Sungjae didn't want to go with me to pick dresses, he has business on his own I guess."
"I see."
"Well, are you here to buy accessories? Let's go check on them together!" she replied cheerfully.
"A-ah.. I'm sorry, Joy. I would want to but I have to go back to the dorm. We've been here for quite some time now and I have a lot of stuff to do."
"Is that so? Too bad. But if you need to go, I can't stop you."
"Let's hangout some time soon." Namjoo smiled.
"Definitely! See you!" she responded.

As soon as she bowed to them, she walked out of the place as fast as she can, still holding and pulling on Hyuk. The guy chuckled saying she could let go of his hand now. Namjoo really seemed sad and disappointed in herself.

"Are you okay?"
"Yes, I'm okay. I just... feel stupid."
"Because Sungjae was there, and you felt your anxiousness trigger again."
"Y-yeah."
"Surprised he didn't talk though."
"He's probably just trying to put on an act, being all quiet and kind in front of Joy as if he's a really good guy."
"You know him too well."
Namjoo frowned. "And it hurts." she mumbled softly.
"Uh, Namjoo. Can you... go back to the girls' dorm by yourself?" Hyuk suddenly asked.

The girl was puzzled but she answered yes. Since it was not that late at night, even when it's getting dark, Namjoo went back to the girls' dorm by herself, curious at to where Hyuk had gone off to but didn't want to question him anymore.

[6:30PM] Hey, Namjoo. Did you got back to the dorm safely?
[6:30PM] Yes I did! How about you?
[6:31PM] Yes. For a second, I thought you were mad at me.
[6:32PM] Eh? Why?
[6:34PM] You didn't ask me why I let you go back first.
[6:34PM] I didn't want to question you anymore.
[6:35PM] I see. Well, I'm glad you're not mad. I picked up some clothes for the party, by the way.
[6:36PM] What?! Unfair! I was supposed to choose for you too!
[6:38PM] I got three different ones, so I'll still need you expert opinion.
[6:38PM] Ah! Alright. ^..^ I'll see them tomorrow right?
[6:38PM] Yes.

A few minutes later, she got another message. Namjoo smiled thinking it was Hyuk again but it was Sungjae. How can she still have his number, she thought. She would've deleted it or something but I guess she just couldn't.

You look happy and cute with Hyuk today! I guess you two are really in good terms now. You even have your fingers laced on his. Then does that mean, you have forgotten about me? I hope not. Well, I don't really have a lot to say. Can't wait to see you at the birthday party. Especially now that I see you got a dress prepared already? I bet you'll be cute. This is Sungjae, by the way.

Namjoo's heart skipped a beat. She couldn't breathe for a moment. She wanted to cry and be mad, but why would she. It's like the reason won't be of any worth if she did. Everytime Sungjae does this, she becomes really upset. It annoys her. Why is she like that, why is he like that. She thought. The girl took a long stare at the box of dress she bought earlier. "You're gonna be prettier than the birthday girl." The words that left Hyuk's mouth came to her mind all of a sudden. Maybe Sungjae's right. Maybe I should just bail and don't come to the party, and be alone.

Song suggestion {xxx}

The next day, Namjoo tried the best she could to avoid Sungjae and she successfully did—if you consider just glances and sighs successful though. Hyuk noticed and couldn't help but interrogate her ‘somehow’ strange behavior. The girl didn't want to tell him about the text message so she responded ridiculously that she wouldn't want Sungjae to know what she's wearing so she's avoiding to talk or to look at him. Hyuk faint smiled, which Namjoo didn't see. She pulled on him and asked if they're going to see the suits he picked up for the party.

They arrived at the boys' dorm a few hours after class. The girl felt weird going inside the place—as if any girl will feel easily comfortable going inside a boys' dorm though—because it was messy and well, dirty? I guess that's not a good term to describe it but the place really was. However, until she got inside Hyuk's room, it was a complete opposite. All of his stuff were organized, books neatly arranged in their shelves, his clothes were obviously hung well inside a wooden cabinet and the room was just pleasing to see and even smells good.

"W-wow, your room is..."
"Too well organized?"
"I never thought it'd be like this."
"Well, I got skills." he laughed. "Now shall we take a look at the suits?"
Namjoo was still in awe but was able to only nod at his question. The guy smiled in response.
"Take a sit," and took out the suits he got.
"I can easily tell which will look great on you already."
"Really?" he chuckled. "Then, no need to try them all on? Which one is it?"
"This one!" he chose the denim jacket enclosed in a black tuxedo with a cute little bowtie.
"Are you sure this will look good on me?" the girl nodded with a wide grin.

Hyuk didn't hesitate to disagree more on Namjoo's choice because he trusts her. He knows she would pick the right for him. He kept the other two, saying he'd use them some other time soon and the girl asked him to only wear them on events when he's with her. Hyuk smiled and promised her. After a few small talks, they decided to go somewhere to eat. Asking the girl if she was hungry—like when wasn't she—and where she'd like to eat. The latter held on his arm and whined cutely, telling him if they could go to a steakhouse. The guy pinched her cheeks hard and opposed.

"I know a better place."
"Where?" she mumbled, rubbing her semi-swollen cheeks.
"Just come with me, okay?"
"Your treat?"
"Do you want me to pinch your cheeks even harder?"
Namjoo winces like a little kid and shook her head. The other laughed.
"Let's go."

He brought her to a traditional Chinese restaurant. They were welcomed with a couple of waitresses at the entrance and ushered them to a vacant table. Hyuk was handed a pair of fortune cookies as soon as they got to their seats, and he handed one towards Namjoo.

"Something that hopefully cheers you up."
"Most fortune cookies are positive, right? So I'm probably going to keep this until the party." she giggled.
"If you say so,"

Foods were served momentarily and as other say it, they ate the night away. While Namjoo was inhaling on her food, Hyuk carefully watched her and took out his phone to secretly take photos. He found her cute, of course. He pretended to type in messages when he was actually capturing photos continuously. He snickered.

"Are you taking photos?!" the girl mumbled with food in .
Hyuk laughed. "No, I'm not. I'm sending a message, and I got a funny reply."
"I don't believe you." she pouted. "Give me your phone."
"It's my phone, why would I give it to you." he stuck his tongue out and laughed again.
"Ya!"
"What? I'm not taking photos."
"Of course you're not." she quickly transferred next to Hyuk and tried getting his phone from his hand.
The guy was rather fast though, he already got his hand and phone lifted up wherein the little lass couldn't reach.
Namjoo scooted closer—and even closer—but she was too petite and short, hence bringing their faces close by only a few inches.
Hyuk looked at her and realized their eyes have had already met. It took at least 3 minutes before Namjoo swiftly pulled back.
"I-I'm sorry."
"That's... okay. It's my fault."
Namjoo smiled a bit awkwardly and gets back across Hyuk and to her seat, finishing her food like nothing happened.
The guy smiled.
"Oh yeah, I need to go home to talk to my dad about something. So after, I'll take you to the girls' dorm then go."
"You're going home?" her gaze shifted up to him and gets a nod in response. "Can I go with you?"
Hyuk was surprised all of a sudden, slightly forgetting about what happened earlier. "Why?"
"Nothing. I just want to see your house, and your dad, and—"
"Fine, fine. I'll just pretend to believe that that's your reason."
She giggled. "How about I stay there until the day of the party?"
"What?!"
"You don't like my real reason?"
"Dad will think I brought along a girlfriend."
"Then I'll explain." she grinned, "Please, Hyukkie?" and started batting her eyelashes, trying to give him puppy eyes.
Hyuk felt his heart race. That sight of Namjoo being cute after just having a few minutes of eye-to-eye moment just takes his breath away and he was sure he needed to keep serene about it—or else.
"A-a-alright. Just s-stop doing that. I hate it." he looked away.
"You've always hate it when I act cute." she smiled. "But thank you, Hyukkie! I'll be a good girl."
He laughed a bit.

They finally arrived at Hyuk's place after getting some of Namjoo's stuff from the girls' dorm. She smiled at the beautiful scenery in front of her as she enters the house. It was clean, pleasing and like Hyuk's room at the dorm, it felt nice and smelled really good. The guy ushered her to a guest room and as expected, the room was neatly prepared too. She couldn't help but leap over the comfy bed. Seems like Hyuk's dad isn't home yet either.

"Do you need anything? Drinks, books or something?"
"Not really, thank you. Is your dad gonna be home soon?"
"Do you really want to meet him that badly?"
She nodded.
"Well, he usually comes home late. I don't know why he asked me to come home when he's not even here yet."
"He must miss you a lot, that's why."
Hyuk chuckled a bit. "Crazy. He's not that type of father."
"Who knows? He might be."
"When you're right, you're right." he smiled. "Call me if you need anything."
"U-uh, Hyuk-ah.."
"Mmh?"
"Can you stay with me?" she asked, pursing her lips.
"Sounds weird, but I think I can? You keep surprising me today, what is up with you?"
"Do I... It's just. I want to talk to you about something."
"Alright," he walked inside the room and sat on the edge of the bed. "What's bothering you?"
"I— Should I still go to the party?"
"Why are you asking me."
Namjoo heaved a sigh. "I don't know. Ah! Maybe this won't make sense. I'm sorry."
"Everything you say makes sense to me." he mumbled lowly.
She blinked. "What did you say?"
"Ah, nothing. I said you should just tell me what's bothering you. It's okay."
"Well.." she took a glance down. "Am I a bad friend?"
Hyuk chuckled. "Why would you think so?"
"I don't know. I just feel like one..?"
"You aren't." he smiled.
"But I feel like I've been pretending most of the time."
Hyuk unintentionally yawned all of a sudden. "Pretending,"
"You're sleepy?" she giggled a bit.
"Hmyeah. Just a little I guess."
"Do you want me to sing you to sleep?"
He looked at her with a sly smile, surprised by her sudden utterance. "I'd like that."
"Really?!" she beamed and pats the space beside her.
"W-what? We'll sleep in one bed?"
"Stop thinking like that. Of course not!" she laughs. "But since you're sleepy and cute, and I have to sing for you, you should just hit the hay and stay here with me."
"But where will you sleep?"
Namjoo pulled him to her side. "You're asking too many questions. Just go to sleep already."
"You sound like my mom."
"Sanghyuk-ah, go to sleep okay?"

That was a first for him. No other person called him in his name—Sanghyuk—besides his parents and professors. It surprised him, yet it sounded nice. She's so sweet. He felt really happy. Namjoo sat up beside him as he was laid to sleep, glancing at her from minute to minute. Humming and singing to this song, she smiled—staring at the angelic form in front of her. She scooted a wee bit closer and brushed along Hyuk's fringes with her fingers, as soon as he drifted asleep. At that moment, she felt her heart race and it was an uncommon feeling. Confusing but warm, unlike the one she feels when she sees Sungjae. The eyes that met hers earlier came to mind; she found herself a bit flushed and smiling at the same time. This is insane, Kim Namjoo. Just then, a very low voice calling out the maids came from outside the room; semi-abruptly interrupting Namjoo's serenity. Seems like Hyuk's father arrived. The girl smiled and strided, but carefully out of the room to meet him.

"Well, well. Who's this?"
She smiled and bowed simultaneously. "Hi, I'm Hyuk's friend, Kim Namjoo. It's nice to finally meet you, Mr. Han."
"Are you sure you're not his girlfriend?"
"No, sir." she stuttered a bit. "Just a friend, who's a girl."
"I see, I believe you. Are you with Hyuk then?"
"Yes, sir—"
"Don't call me sir. I'm not your boss, that sounds unacceptable." he laughed.
"I'm sorry, Mr. Han." she bowed again and smiled. "Hyuk fell asleep inside the guest room where I'm at. I guess he got tired from school work. Is it okay if I look after him and stay here until the weekend?"
"That's not a problem, uh, Namjoo. You're really nice. Thank you."
"I just really need to pay him back for being such a very good friend."
"I'm sure you are too. I'm happy he has a friend like you." he nodded. "It's just a shame that you aren't his girlfriend, that would've been better."
She laughed a bit, all of a sudden. "But I'm sure he will."
"Well, I guess me and my son's talk will have to be postponed. Go get your rest, Namjoo. If he gets up when you're up, please tell him that I'd like to speak with him; and I'll ask the maids to make you breakfast early in the morning."
"Thank you and good night, Mr. Han."

I guess they talked the next day during breakfast. Namjoo, again, didn't question what it was about. She was aware it was something confidential between family. Although Hyuk knew she wouldn't, he kept glancing at her across the table, thinking she would ask him what it was about. Guess he thought wrong. They had breakfast and went to school as soon as they finished devouring.

The week passed and Namjoo realized she was able to pull off something she didn't imagine she would—ignoring Sungjae. Yeah, it's kind of a big deal for her. She thought she'd have to tell herself everyday to just avoid him, for the better; ignore him and never talk to him until the party or later. Hyuk helped a lot in the process though. He'd be there to distract Namjoo from all of these stress. He'd be there for her, even when Namjoo doesn't clearly see what these means, or how he feels. Maybe she's too preoccupied with her feelings for Sungjae. Crazy.

Finally, the day of the party came. A few hours before the party starts, Hyuk and Namjoo started prepping up. The girl was assisted by some of the maids present. Awhile later, Hyuk called out asking if she's ready.

"Be there in a minute!" she half-yelled.
One of the maids came out with Namjoo's phone and handed it quickly to Hyuk.
"The young lady's friends will like to talk to you, I assume." she said.
"Thank you," as he grabbed it.

"Hyuk-ah!" it was Bomi, and the rest of the dance group members.
"Hyuk-ah, hyuk-ah! I know you two will look good tonight."
"Please take care of our Namjoo okay?" one said.
"Don't let Sungjae hurt her or something, okay?" another said.
"Bring her back to the dorm safely okay?" another one said.
They continuously requested. Hyuk chuckled and shook his head. "I will.."

They soon got to the cab and went there way to the venue. Listening to this song.

"Are you feeling okay?"
"You're here, I know I will be."
He smiled. "That's good then."
But Namjoo seemed anxious, she kept glancing back and forth from her hands to out of the window.
"Are you sure you're okay?"
"Y-yeah. Just a little nervous. T-that's normal, right?"
Hyuk nods and smiled as he reached something from his side.
"A princess isn't a princess without a pretty crown." he placed a beautiful pastel rose-colored flower crown on top of her head.
"W-what.. where is this from..?"
"It's from Sungjae."
"What?"
"He said you won't accept it if he's the one who'll be giving to you directly."
"R-really?" she smiled.
"I'm glad that made you smile."
"N-not really. I'm just feeling more like a, princess, wearing this."
Hyuk grinned. "Namjoo, I want you to talk to Sungjae."

They arrived moments later. Namjoo looked out of the window once again, and saw Sungjae at the entrance. Her heart suddenly starts beating fast. She turned to Hyuk with some worried look in her eyes, the guy nodded at her in return, wanting to ease her even a little. He gets off the can and runs to the other side, opening it. The girl took a—very—deep breath and a step out to look around. She swiftly grabbed on Hyuk's arm as they started sauntering towards the entrance. She caught Sungjae and almost everyone nearby's attention. Although that made her feel uncomfortable—being stared at—she felt somehow confident, with Hyuk beside her. She was so perfect in her white dress, her matching shoes, her done up hair and the flower crown that was really made for her to look like a princess—a goddess—from a fairytale story.

"Look who's here." Sungjae beamed.
"Hey,"
"Sungjae! Why are you still—" Joy interrupted and saw Namjoo immediately. "Namjoo!" she gasped.
"H-hi, Joy. Happy Birthday!" she smiled brightly.
"You're so pretty! Ah! Come with me! I'll introduce you to my friends!"
"A-ah, I don't think—"
"She'll go. She'll go with you." Hyuk smiled and continued.
Namjoo nodded a few times. "I mean, yes. I-I'll go. I would like to meet them."
Joy excitedly pulled on her with the same bright smile.

"Can we talk?" Hyuk asked Sungjae.
"I knew you'd ask that. Sure,"
They went a little on the side to talk privately.
"You looked well-dressed tonight, you really matched well with Namjoo."
"When will you stop.."
"I'm not even doing anything." he laughed.
He sighed. "She'll look at me as nothing but a friend, why isn't that clear to you?"
"Oh, it's clear. I just want to test if she is capable of liking someone else, and could actually like you? I guess not."
"I have a favor to ask."
"That depends. What is it?"
"Ask Namjoo to dance with you and talk to her."
"Well, that's not hard." he shrugged with a small smile. "But why so sudden with your favor."

Seconds of silence came up.

Chapter 6: Seriously, I ship Hyuk and Namjoo way too hard, because of their friendship I became a panda and Namjoo became my ub. However, I've always wanted to find a ff about them but never found one (what's really sad because they're too cute). But when I found yours I was surprised how good you can write this (I actually am not a fan of such stories) and made me totally emotional. Besides that, it also reminds me how Namjoo and Sungjae got on distance since the WGM thing... Well, I hope that you'll keep up with this ff lmao. Fighting

Chapter 6: Beautiful (T.T) It's really hard to find a Hyuk-Namjoo centric story... Thanks for making this and Sungjae even though I really don't like him at least you make him a good friend of Hyuk. And I love Joy in this story and wish that you could write more about her bond with Namjoo though they're not close (∆3∆)
