Lee Dahyun P.O.V.

I sat at the lunch table with my two best friends, Eunmi and Ahyoung. 

"Ugh, I hate those boys," Eunmi commented while looking at the group of boys screaming in the cafeteria. 

"I agree, I want to freaking strangle them. They think they're all that when they're popular," Ahyoung added to the fire. I gazed across the cafeteria and peered at the boys they were talking about. I sighed. This happens every single day. This certain group of boys always are rowdy and everyone in the cafeteria hates them, especially me and my friends. 

"They never know when to shut up. I have like, all my classes with Hwanhee and Dongyeol and it's the worst." I angrily sipped my apple juice. The entire cafeteria is annoyed by them, but they don't get the hint. 

" for you! I have only one class with one of them, and it's Wooseok, the quiet one of the group," Ahyoung stated while smirking at me. I rolled my eyes as I looked over and saw Wooseok just sitting there eating his lunch while all his friends were yelling and trying to get him to do something. 

"Haha, good for you. I have like, 4 classes with Sungjun, he's like a freaking hyper ball of crazy," Eunmi pitied herself. I scoffed.

"That still doesn't beat me." I glared at her while she just looked down.

"It's not a freaking competition," she mumbled. I felt content at her words while I couldn't even think from the rowdiness. It wasn't even the fact that our table was close to theirs. The group sat right in the middle of the cafeteria, and everyone could hear them. How selfish. They don't understand manners. 

I stared at the boys, trying to figure out why they acted this way. I watched as Lee Dongyeol slammed his hands on the table every time someone said something funny. I wanted to rip out my hair. I had Dongyeol in all but one of my classes. I wanted to strangle him every single day in every class I have with him because his best buddy, Hwanhee, is in the same classes as him. I had a quiet school life until he got involved in my life. He annoyed me every single day for a pencil, like did he lose them right when I gave one to him!? We're in high school, he should have at least one pen! I grumbled at my thoughts until the bell rang. 

"Well, time to go to class girls, see you after school," Eunmi said while standing up. We waved bye to each other and walked to our own classes. I was quietly walking to class until I heard a herd of boys run past me with loud voices. I cringed, as everyone else did when they passed them. I glared at the backs of their heads and continued walking to class. I mentally smacked myself because I realized my next class was with Dongyeol and Hwanhee. Kill me now. 

I took a seat in my desk and waited for this day to be over. 

Last period is when it got super weird. 

"Dahyun. Dahyun. Dahyun. Dahyun." At this point in time, now I wanted to strangle myself. 

"Ok, what? What do you want?" I asked the idiot who wanted a beating. I looked to my side and saw Lee Dongyeol smiling widely at me. 

"Did it hurt?" I glared him with an open mouth. Is he serious? "When you fell from heaven?" I wanted to face palm myself, but I just couldn't out of the shock that this guy had the nerve. 

"What the hell-"

"Are you from Tennessee? Because you're the only ten I see." He wiggled his eye brows while I threw up on the inside. 

"Dongyeol-"

"Did you just fart? Because you flew me away." He made explosions noises as he leaned back in his chair. I gave him a 'wtf' face and tried to continue my work, but he kept pulling out random pick up lines. "Lee Dahyun! Are you ignoring my beautiful confessions to you?" He asked dramatically. I turned my head to him and gave him my best death glare. 

"If you call that a confession, you must be freaking stupid. Those were the worst pick up lines ever, if you think you're going to get a girl like that, ever, you're wrong." I quickly went back to my work, not thinking anything about him until I realized he stopped bothering me. I glanced over at him in the corner of my eyes and saw that he went back to the worksheet he had.

I was pleasantly surprised at my work and turned back to my work too. I tried not to think about it too much, but I couldn't help be confused as to why he was acting like this. I peeked over again and saw his usually happy, crazy, hyper face turn into a stoic one. Weird. 

I decided just to shrug it off and go home immediately after school. 

"Hey, Dahyun!" I heard someone call my name after I exited the building. I turned my head and saw Eunmi and Ahyoung waving to me.

"Yah, Lee Dahyun, aren't you going out to ice cream afterschool today?" Eunmi asked, panting. I gave them an apologetic look.

"Sorry guys, I'm just kinda out of it today, maybe another day?" I suggested while I wanted to get home quickly and do some super cool detective skills as to why the Lee Dongyeol was acting the way he was. Ahyoung sighed.

"Ok fine, but only because I'm ing tired from the swim camp last weekend." I smiled at her words while Eunmi pouted.

"Ok, let's just go another day, plus, I think it's going to rain today too," She noticed. I felt a drop of water fall onto my arm and decided I had to walk home quickly. 

"Dammit, it was sunny all day and now I have to walk home!" I exclaimed. Eunmi and Ahyoung gave me a sympathetic look, but they took the bus in the opposite direction of my house. We waved each other off and I was left to walk home in the rain. After walking to my house, it started raining a lot harder. "!" I muttered under my breath. I started to break out into a run, which was very uncomfortable since I was in a skirt. I ran until I couldn't any longer, at this point, I was drenched. I finally saw my house after what seemed like a run that seemed like forever, even though it was just a 10 minute walk. 

I walked into my house, not caring if I got the floor wet. 

"Honey, what-"

"It's raining," I finished for my mom as I marched upstairs with heavy footsteps, literally. I grabbed a towel from the bathroom and dried my hair. I took off my clothes and dried my body. It feels so nice to be dry again, I smiled. I grabbed my undergarments and slipped them on after I was dry. I changed into my warm, comfy sweats and my laptop. 

After getting comfortable, I heard someone ring the doorbell. I growled and sighed. Who's ruining my lazy time now?

"Dahyun! Can you get that! I'm cooking dinner!" My dear mother yelled. I rolled my eyes. 

"Yeah, just tell the girl all the way upstairs to get the door on the first floor! Sounds perfect!" I mumbled quietly to myself. I walked downstairs with a frown and hopefully the person at the door was my favorite idol or something.

"Hello?" I said when opening the door. My eyes widened when I saw who it was. "D-Dongyeol? What are you doing here?" I exclaimed quietly so my mom wouldn't hear who it is. 

"Who is it, honey?" My mom asked. My mind suddenly went into blank mode. 

"Uh, uhm, just a classmate! I'll be back soon!" I called out. I immediately shoved him back slightly and shut the door, making sure it wasn't locked. "Ok, what the hell are you doing at my house and how did you know where I live?" I asked, seething with anger. My anger soon dissipated seeing his solemn expression. Damn it heart, stop being so nice. I saw him sigh and blush slightly. WOAH, WHY IS HE BLUSHING? No, ok, maybe it's just he's super cold from the rain. 

I then noticed that he was drenched, just like I was earlier, with water from the rain. I gasped.

"And why the hell did you come here when it was raining!?" I exclaimed and grabbed a towel that I left out here to dry for some odd reason. He just held it. Then, what he pulled from behind his back made me stop moving. 

"These are for you," He stated with a soft smile, different from the ones he usually had. I raised a brow at the bouquet of roses. 

"What are these for?" I asked hesitantly. He took a deep breath and looked at me.

"Look, I know I can be really really really annoying a lot of the times, and I know you and your friends really hate me and that you want nothing to do with me, and you always want me and my friends to shut up and-"

"Ok, Dongyeol, I know, get to the point," I rushed, but I couldn't help it, I was curious. He took a deep breath.

"I like you," He confessed. The atmosphere changed slightly after his confession. Was not expecting that. I didn't know what to say. I knew that I was constantly annoyed by him with his craziness, but he just looked so sincere right in this moment. I mean, he showed up to my house with flowers and he's drenched with rain. This scene is what you would see in all the dramas that would make me cringe so hard. I didn't know if he was joking or not, or like, WHAT? I gulped. 

"What?" I finally said. He didn't waver and stared at me.

"I like you a lot, Dahyun. I want you to be my girlfriend," He admitted. My jaw dropped. 

"Girlfriend?" I exclaimed with a squeak in my voice. He ruffled his hair.

"I know it's a lot to take in, but you can tell me another time when you have an official answer, ok?" I nodded slowly, still processing what just happened. "See you at school tomorrow, bye, Dahyun." He gave me one smooth smile before he left my house with an umbrella. Wait, why didn't he use the umbrella before..? 

I entered my house again. 

"Dahyun, honey, what did they want?" My mom asked. I jumped out of surprise from her voice.

"Nothing, mom, I'm going upstairs." I slithered my way upstairs, hoping I played it off cool. I shut the door right away and jumped into my bed. 

I couldn't get the image of Lee Dongyeol drenched with water, standing at my doorstep with a beautiful bouquet of red roses, my favorite. I squealed into my pillow and tried to get it out of my head. 

"I'm going to have a lot to tell Eunmi and Ahyoung."

I don't really know how I feel about this one, but I'm listening to Jungkook's cover of Lost Stars, so I'm not in a very romantic mood right now... XD

AND OK, NCT RELEASED SOME TEASERS. I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONE WHO'S BEEN WAITING SINCE FOREVER FOR THIS MOMENT. LIKE, HOLY COW, I'M EXPLODING WITH FEELS AND HAPPINESS. I LEGIT ALMOST CRIED WHEN I SAW MARK'S LEE'S FIRST TEASER VIDEO. SM DOES THINGS TO ME MAN. I'M SUCH AN SM STAN.
