He's also that type of teenager who's naive and prone to easily believing what people will say to him.

So he gets his first heartbreak from his little crush on that foreign kid in the basketball varsity team.

And it hurts, really. Infinitely more so than the fanfictions and manga ever depicted. It's so cliché how he almost slipped as he ran away when his crush rejected him coldly, and he feels so stupid and worthless he just wants to cry (and he does).
