The next day:

Just like any typical school day, Luhan went to school with Lynn. Once they reached school, Lynn saw Amber at cafeteria talking with Xiumin. They waved at them and they quickly walked over to them.

"Lynn! Have you heard about the new transfer student?" Amber asked her.
"Transfer? Who transfers in the 2nd year of high school? Heh." She answered without a slight pinch of inerest.
"At least it is during the first week of school."Amber quipped.
" It's a guy I hear-" Xiumin informed.
Hearing that it's a guy, Lynn turned to Xiumin and joked "Is he handsome? Tall?-"
"YA! Is that the only thing you can think of with your head? Yea. I bet he is more handsome and taller than me. Go ask him be your best friend then! Hmph!" Xiumin pouted.
"Aye~ Someone's jealous~" Amber egged.
"Awww~ You'll always be my cutie baozi. Baby~ Love you much. Muacks!" Lynn sped talk while pinching Xiumin's cheek.
"I'm a grown guy now, I'm no longer that little boy you knew back then. I take care of you too. Stop calling me baby!" Xiumin pouted further.
"Alright baby, continue pouting here then." she pinches his cheek "I'm leaving for lessons. If you're not coming,you'll be late! Bleh!" She stuck out her tongue and held hands with Amber, running towards classroom block direction.
"YA! Wait for me!" Xiumin yelled.

Luhan stood up and looked in the direction Lynn went, smiled and shook his head.
"These two, forever squabbling like kids..."

As they reached the classroom, they parted to their seats. Placing her bag on the empty seat beside hers, Lynn settled at her seat at the corner of the classroom, looking out at the greeneries outside of the window. The branches of the trees danced to the mild wind blowing. Such soothing landscape has been her escape from the boring lectures and noisy chatters from the other classmates.

The bell signalling the start of lesson rang and everybody hurriedly settled down at their seats. Their first period was form teacher period and it meant settling admin matters as well as nagging from the form teacher to work hard, most importantly, not creating any trouble for them.

Mr Song and Ms Jung entered the classroom.

Mr Song: "Alright class, settle down! We have announcement to be made."
Ms Jung: "From today onwards, there will be a new student joining us" she then gestured to the door for student to come in "Do a self introduction."
The moment he stepped into the classroom, the girls in the class start chattering excitedly. His height was pretty average, skin fairer than some girls, not to mention his features that looks above average. His eyes-double eyelids, pretty nose and-oh, lips that curves slightly upwards at the ends that makes him look like he is smiling slightly when not.

"Annyeonghaseyo. Hi everyone, nice to meet all of you. My name is Kim Jongdae, I prefer people calling me Chen and I'm Korean. I transferred from an international school and can speak simple chinese." He introduced and bowed a 90 degrees bow.

The class clapped loudly as a form of enthusiasm and passionate welcome for him. At that moment, Lynn was startled. She snapped out from her daze and looked around the class, wondering what good news the teachers have announced.

Mr Song: "You can take the empty seat beside Lynn. She is that student at that corner beside the windows." Mummers of how lucky she was for the new student to sit beside her were heard.

The next thing she know, a male student was walking towards her direction with most of the class's attention on him. She looked up at him with a blank face. He returned with a shy smile. Then it hit her. Ahh! He's the new transfer student.

As he pulled out the chair, he saw her bag on it. He looked at her curiously as if he felt that he was unwelcomed by her. Lynn realised her rudeness and quickly removed her bag, hanging it onto the back of her chair. 
Lynn displayed her usual cold attitude to him by not interacting with him. Thinking that his seatmate dislikes him, Chen tried to avoid making interactions with her least she gets upset with him.

When the lessons before break ends, before anyone could react, a group of classmates crowded around their desks,
