HELLO ALL MY PRETTIES…!!! I actually had a chance to update, and I’m sure glad of it. Well, I might as well shut up, (LOL) so here you go ;p

`Last chapter’

Tao jumped up, as he through his legs over his head, and for a split second, a few words suddenly flew into his mind…

Promise me?

Yes…

Tao didn’t keep his promise. He stayed. He lied. He kept practicing he-

CRASH

”AAAAAARRRGGGGHHHHH…..!!!!!”

It only took less than a second, and before we knew it, the tall Chinese man had fallen hard onto the wooden dance floor. The softness of that wooden floor broke his fall, which was a big relieve to him…

…or so he thought…

Using his arms to help him, Tao pushed himself to stand up, but the second he stood up straight, he felt a painful sting in his right ankle, leading him to fall furiously back onto the wooden surface. Biting his lips, he tried his best to muffle the screams and cries he was so eager to let out. He held his ankle tightly in between his two palms. Loosening his grip, he looked at his ankle.

‘It was fine’ he thought. It didn’t look bruised nor swollen, it looked just fine, at that particular moment…

‘I’ll be fine’ he said to himself…

...at least he hoped so…

‘Where the hell is Tao?’ Kris thought. The Chinese leader had been waiting for his band member for almost an hour now. He had hoped that the rapper was alright. If he knew Tao, it’s that he would never break a promise, because he knows that Tao would mentally break down to the pressure if he ever did. In other words, Tao should have listen to him. The blonde walked back and forth the hallways. He played with his phone,, throwing it around,  switching it from one hand to the other, as the thought of Tao’s safety haunted his mind. Where would he have gone?  Why isn’t he back? Where did he go?

As frustration filled his head, the tall man stormed into his room. Grabbing his things, he tried to think of Tao. Where would he go? The movies? The gym? Would he go out and eat? No, Tao’s not the kind of person to go out and eat alone. Then where would he have gone? Putting on his shoes, he ran down the stairs and burst out the front door, only to smack himself into a person.

“Akh... gege…”

…That voice…

…Kris knew it...

Kris looked up to view the source of that voice, and he was surprised that he was met with a tall man…

…with bright blonde hair…

…cat-like lips…

…well-tanned skin…

…and those dark circles under his eyes…

It was none other than Huang Zi Tao…

“Tao!!!”

And before Tao knew it, the tall Chinese leader had pushed Tao down onto the floor with a hug, which was quite weird despite the fact that Kris was known as a tall cold guy, well at least that was what we believed…

…apparently not.

“God, Tao. Where the have you been all night? I was worried sick for you”

Tao shivered at the words spoken by the man in front of him, because the answer to that was quite simple. ‘I broke my promise’ Tao thought. His hands shook, he started to sweat, and his entire body began to tremble. It was a short moment, but to Tao, it felt like forever. He had frozen right there. Kris looked at Tao. The expression that Tao made did nothing but fill Kris a strong sense of curiosity and suspicion. Where has the youngest of EXO-M been lately? Kris looked at Tao. With a sharp looked in his eyes, he then asked the man in front of him.

“Tao, where have you been? Where were you when we all went to the car?”

Those words had done nothing but intensify the shivers and trembles Tao had been feeling. His heart was beating so fast. He clearly had no idea on what to do.

“I was p-pla-playing basketball…” Tao said. ‘No, …’ Tao had made a very bad decision. He shouldn’t have lied, because by him lying, his heart rate increased, pounding inside his chest like there was no tomorrow. Kris eyed Tao, but from the look on his face, you could clearly tell that he wasn’t happy with Tao’s response. He let out a grunt, and angrily grabbed the younger’s wrist and pulled him to stand up.

Standing up, there was a familiar painful feeling in Tao’s ankle, and it hurt like hell. He wanted to fall, but he knew that if he did, the older man in front of him would suspect something, and he didn’t want anyone to know of what really happened to him. Tao stood still, as he bit his lip to prevent himself from screaming. Kris tugged on Tao’s wrist, signalling Tao to follow him, but he couldn’t. Tao wasn’t able to walk so fast because of his ankle, and what Kris was doing was basically making the pain even worse than it was before. As Kris pulled Tao’s wrist, Tao stood firm in front of him, holding back as much as he could. He wasn’t going to let Kris know.

But that’s not what Kris had thought…

Because to Kris, all he knows is that Tao is just being stubborn and hiding secretes. He doesn’t know that Tao was actually in pain. Feeling frustrated of Tao’s behaviour, Kris lifted Tao over his shoulders and carried him as if he was a sack of flour.

“Wh…WHAT?? KRIS PUT ME DOWN” Tao squirmed as he tried to fight back, but even though Tao had mastered the arts of Wushu, he was never any stronger than his leader. And to the fact that he had been practicing and dancing all day, he lacked stamina, and that was certainly no help at all. The panda-like man squirmed and wriggled, trying to shake himself free from the blonde, however, he was still no match…

…until he was hit with a certain insight…

Tao’s heart rate was increasing, and with fingers crossed in hope that his insane idea would work, he ducked his head so that he was face to face with the blonde’s neck, and…

BITE

 “AAAAAKKKH…!!! TAO!!!”

...and just as Tao predicted, Kris released his grip on Tao, but he had never expected Kris to let go of him, dropping him down onto the floor…

…on his feet...

…but to be more precise, it was exactly on his right ankle…

…and that small accident, was enough to severely damage his lower leg…

“AAAAAKKKHH….!!!!!”

Hearing Tao’s screech, Kris’s frustration had instantly evaporated, and taking its place was concern. Kris kneeled down, as he caressed Tao’s cheek. Tao was crying.

“Tao, are you okay?”

“I-I…”

“What was that?”  A familiar voice was able to be heard from a room upstairs. The light switch was , and a shadowed figure began to appear. Someone was close by, and if someone was there, there was a bigger chance for Tao’s secret to spread.

“Kris, please, help me” Tao widened his eyes as he looked at him, giving him the ‘please-don’t-let-me-down’ look on his face, and of course being the leader, and the closest person to Tao, Kris couldn’t help it but give in to the panda eyed man.

“ you Tao, but you better explain” Kris quickly scooped Tao up, carrying him bridal-style. As fast as he could, he ran towards his bedroom, which apparently happens to be on the ground floor, hoping that whoever it was approaching them wouldn’t see them. As he entered, he quickly threw Tao onto his bed, not caring of whatever reaction or response he may get from the younger. Tao looked at Kris with a sharp glare in his eyes. He was about to question Kris of his recent actions, but before he could, with his palm, Kris quickly covered Tao’s mouth, and held his body tight so he wouldn’t scream.

“God Tao, I’m only doing what you’re telling me to. Stop struggle-AAAKH IT TAO, SHUT UP!”

Upset with Kris’s actions, Tao bit Kris’s hand so hard, it would probably leave bite marks. ‘What the hell is wrong with him’ Kris thought. Oh god, he knew Tao was stubborn, but this was literally out of control. If Kris didn’t care for the younger, being the cold guy he is, he swore, he would have already smacked him in the face by now. But Tao was important to him, in other words, he would never hurt his beloved panda.

“Tao, please. Will you stop it?? This attitude of yours is sickening me, you better shut up now, or els-”

“Kris? Are you in there?”

That voice, the two men knew it well. Who else would have such a manly yet angelic voice like such? Of course it was none other than the leader of EXO-K, Kim Junmyeon, in other words, Suho. He was one of the most caring members of EXO, and-

-wait… what?

Caring?

Well, of course that didn’t give any concern to Kris, but to Tao?

If Suho was caring, that would mean that if he knew about Tao’s incident, he would be worried for him. Not that it was bad, but to the maknae of EXO-M, anyone worrying for him would feel like a burden to himself. He doesn’t want anyone to know of his chase. Never.

“Kris, tell him to go away”

“Wh-what?? Why would I-“

“Please, gege. Just do it”

“But-“

“Gege!!!”

“Okay fine!!!”

Kris got up from the bed as he left the panda like man on the bed. He walked up to the door, opening the door, but not all the way. He only opened it so that the Chinese man was able to speak with the Korean face to face. Tao on the other hand hid behind Kris’s bed, hoping that the leader of EXO-K wouldn’t notice.

“What’s up, Suho?”

“K-kris, did you hear that scream earlier?”

“Oh, err- yeah, it was Tao”

‘THE WITH YOU, KRIS?????’ Tao yelled in his mind.

“T-Tao? oh yeah, where is he? I didn’t see him when we got home”

“Err.. yeah, he got home around 30 minutes ago. He knocked on my door, and said his body was sore. He said he couldn’t make it upstairs to his room, and to be honest, I actually think it was just him being lazy. So he crashed himself onto my couch and said he wanted to stay for the night”

“O-kay?? But then what about the scream?”

“Oh, Tao had a nightmare, and woke up screaming. He’s okay now, he’s fast asleep”

“Okay then, that’s good. I think I’ll just come in and check up o-“

“-NO…!!” Kris quickly blocked Suho’s way before he could make it into the room. As panic grew within himself, Tao quickly limped himself towards Kris’s couch, just in case Suho actually made it inside. He hopped onto the couch and laid himself on it, pretending to sleep. Hopefully the Korean Leader wouldn’t come in.

“Kris? What’s wrong?”

“Suho, listen. Tao’s had a really tiring day, you saw the way he practiced. I think it would be best f we just left him alone for tonight. We can see him again tomorrow morning”

“Yeah, but-“

“Suho? Please…”

The Korean leader sighed, as he nodded his head.

“Okay fine. Goodnight, Kris. See you in the morning”

“You too”

Kris smiled as he watched the Korean walk away from the door, making his way towards the stairs. Closing the doors, he let out a small sigh. Thank goodness he bought it.

Tao lift his head up as he looked at the tall man across the room. To the fact that his feeling of tension began to vanish, he sat up on, as he leaned against the couch.

“Is he gone?”

Locking the doors to his room, he walked over to the younger. Staring into Tao’s eyes, Kris gave him a glare ever so sharp, it cut deep into Tao’s soul. “Yes, Tao. He’s gone…”

“…now…”

Kris put both his hands on either side of the younger, locking him within his arms. He moved his head closer towards the man, eliminating the space they had between them. Only until they were a few inches away from each other, he stopped. Kris eyed the younger, whispering only one word, but that one word instantly gave the younger shivers…

 “…explain”

Hello my readers, here is chapter two, and I’d like to say that I feel very bad for not continuing any of my fanfictions, not only from this account, but also on my ffn account. Of course I’m going to continue all of them, but not on ffn, I’ll be continuing the all on this account right here. I do have a thought tho… I’m thinking of creating my ffn account into an Indonesian account, in other words, I’ll be translating all my stories on this account into Indonesian, and then post it onto my ffn account, because I know the majority of Asian stories on ffn is in Indonesian… it’s a thought tho, I have no idea if I will do it, even tho I want to. I’m super-duper busy here in 11^th grade, and exams are KILLING ME.

But I’ll see what I can do J
