Chapter 5.

Luhan's POV.
I sat on the chair waiting for the doctor to come out. And as if on cue, the old man came out smiling.
"Luhan-ssi" I stood up.
"Is she okay?" The doctor nodded his head. 
"She has a torn ligament in her right ankle, but that should heal soon. So I suggest she stays here for a couple of days and when she heads home, just make sure she isn't standing too much for the next couple of weeks. But other than that, she's healthy and happy" The doctor smiled formally. 
"Thank you" I bowed and the doctor left. Sighing in relief, I entered the room. 
It's so gloomy. Hospitals make me cringe. I can't stand them. Ever since she was in Here, hospitals gave me the creeps and brought back terrible memories. I shuddered at the reminiscence.
"Luhan-ah" I snapped out of my thoughts and made my way close to my mothers side. Smiling, I took hold of her hand. 
"Are you feeling better?" My mother nodded her head and smiled.
"I feel great! No housework for the next couple of weeks!" She grinned. I couldn't help but chuckle at my mothers childish behaviour. 
"So clean after your self mister" she let out a snicker. 
I nodded my head and let go of her hand. Making my way towards the chair, I sat down. 
"umma" something was bothering me. I didn't want to think about it, but I couldn't help it. My mind would just keep replaying what had happened. Those tears that streamed down her face. Why was she always crying? She wasn't always like this. She was loud and annoying. Still is... But she seems more fragile now. Something happened and I had to know. The thought was dawning on me and the curiosity was killing me.
"mmm" my mother hummed. 
"W-why is s-summer... I mean... Why does she cry so easily?" I glanced at my mother waiting for her response. It was silent. My mother looked hesitant with her answer. 
"Luhan-ah... You remember Mrs Oh?" I nodded my head. Mrs Oh was Summer's mother. She was always so formal and... How should I say this... Aggressive with her words? No matter where she was or who she was with, she would treat you like and mature adult. Sometimes I pitied summer for having such a strict mother, but she seemed to not mind, so I didn't either. 
"What about her?" 
"Well she... Passed away in a car accident a few months back" and that's when it hit me. The screams at night. The non-stop crying. Sudden guilt washed over me. Ever since she came I've been nothing but rude and mean. Well basically a complete Jerk. I've never really liked her, but I knew Summer loved her mother a lot. I let my frustrations and my anger get the best of me. My shoulders deflated slowly. It was like the guilt was weighing them down. 
"Oh..." Was all I could manage to say. 
"Luhan-ah... Be nice too her. The poor girl blames her self... I can only imagine what she had to go through" my mother sighed sadly.
I leaned back against the chair. My thoughts were beginning to eat me alive again. 
Luhan. Your such a Jerk. I told myself. Even though I was in love with HaeJin and I was sensitive about the topic, I should have controlled myself. I feel so bad. 

The door slid open revealing my father. He looked to his left and held out his hand. Summer came walking through the door and immediately made her way to my mother. Hugging her tightly. I felt myself sink deeper into the guilt. But I felt my heart soften. 
"Son" I tore my gaze off them and turned around to my father.
"mmm" I hummed. 
"Is she okay?" My fathers voice was deep and stern. He scared me sometimes, but behind that serous businessman exterior, he was a bubbly and funny man. 
"Yea umma is fine. She just has to ease up on walking and any physical activity for a couple of weeks" I informed my dad.
My dad nodded his head. 
His gaze left me and went onto my mother, who smiled brightly. 
"Are you okay yeobo?" My dad left my side and went to my mothers and caressed her hair, while holding her hand. 
She smiled and nodded.
"They say I have to stay here for a couple of days Yeobo" she pouted. I couldn't help but place a small smile on my lips.
"It's okay, I'll stay with you" my dad cooed.
