3: What could go wrong?

My 7 Husbands

Sana, Daeryong and Dongwoo made it to the store in the snow without incident. Dongwoo tried to convince her to let him drive the van but she told him that the company specifically told her not to let him drive in the snow. The parking lot was covered in a layer of snow just deep enough to not be able to see the lines so the cars were sort of guessing at the parking spots. Dongwoo pointed out one near the front between two cars. There wasn’t any handicapped sign so Sana parked and the three of them headed into the huge store.

Dongwoo quickly put on his sunglasses and put the hood of his coat up and followed behind Daeryong who was calmly pushing the cart as Sana led them towards the household items section. She checked the time on her phone. It was about 10:15 so she reminded herself that she had to pick up Sangsoo at noon.

The first stop in the store was to get pots and pans and dishes. Sana was looking at the prices for the full sets of pans with Daeryong as Dongwoo spotted the novelty oven mitts and found one that was like a pac man mouth and started playing with it. The other two paid him no mind until he started trying to eat Daeryong’s nose with it. Sana just stared at Dongwoo confused while Daeryong closed his eyes and took a deep breath, trying to not rip the oven mitt from his hand.

Sana suddenly reached up and took it from the TV star’s hand. “Oven Mitts are for handling hot objects, not faces.” Dongwoo grinned at her. “You don’t think Daeryong’s face is a hot object?” Both Sana and Daeryong looked at him disapprovingly before she turned around and grabbed a box with a set of pans in it.

The next aisle was full of dish sets of different patterns. She didn’t bother looking at the designs and just grabbed the box with the most dishes for the lowest price. They ended up being plain white with a green ring on them. Dongwoo and Daeryong were looking at the silverware and trying to do math unsuccessfully. Sana laughed at the two of them and grabbed a box of 50 metal chopsticks and a set of 20 spoons. “Just grab the ones with a lot in them. We have eight people in the house.”

Dongwoo nodded and put a box of 20 butter knives in the cart and Daeryong grabbed the matching forks. As they continued shopping through the store, the guys started to ask Sana questions about her. Daeryong was leaning on the shopping cart as she was checking the cart for anything else they needed. “So, Sana, How old are you?” Dongwoo had been peeking around the corner of the aisle before he suddenly laughed and turned back to face the other two. “Yeah! When is your birthday?” She didn’t even look up from the cart as she started heading towards appliances. “I will turn 25 on March 20.”

Both guys smiled at her. “You are only older than Yeahoon and JR.” Dongwoo said laughing. She nodded as she grabbed a rice cooker and stacked it into the cart as well. “It doesn’t mean you don’t have to listen to me. I am still your manager.” She said laughing a bit as they headed to check out.  Dongwoo suddenly leaned in closer to Daeryong and Sana. “So, do you have a boyfriend we need to worry about?” he whispered as he looked around to make sure no one over heard them.  She shook her head no as Daeryong smacked him upside the head. “Why would we need to worry about her having a boyfriend you idiot?” he said about to apologize to Sana but Dongwoo pouted and explained himself. “Because she lives with all of us guys now! If she had a boyfriend, no one would like that situation.”

Sana looked at her phone again. They had been shopping for over an hour. “Guys, we have to pick up Sangsoo when we leave. His practice ends in 15 minutes.” They both nodded as the cashier checked everything out. Sana paid using the company’s credit card.

Out in the parking lot, the three of them stared at where they left the van in disbelief. The van was missing. They quickly scanned the rest of the parking lot and at the far end they saw a tow truck taking their van away. “Why!? No, no, no!” Sana said as she tried to run to the other end of the parking lot before the truck pulled away. She wasn’t fast enough. The truck turned out onto the street and drove off.

Sana was breathing hard as she came back over to Dongwoo and Daeryong who were just trying not to be noticed by anyone. “Does anyone left at the house have a driver’s license? They could bring the second van here.” she panted as she started going through her phone to find someone’s number. Daeryong thought for a moment. “Yeahoon, Eli and Jiro all have their license.”

Yeahoon was the one she decided to call. He answered after a couple rings. “Hello?” he said as she could hear loud music suddenly get quieter. “Yeahoon, I need you to drive to the store. Our van got towed away.”

There was a pause. “You got the van towed?” She sighed as she continued. “Please just hurry up. We have to pick up Sangsoo too. I can’t believe this…” after another pause, Yeahoon laughed. “Ok, I’m on my way. Be there soon.” She sighed in relief. “Thank you!” He was still laughing. “No problem. So cute…” his voice faded away as he hung up the phone.

“Yeahoon is coming to pick us up.” She explained to the two guys who were covering their faces because customers who were arriving to the store had started trying to get better looks at them.

By the time Yeahoon had arrived with the other van, Dongwoo had already started taking photos with people who recognized him. The crowd was slowly increasing as Sana stood close to him to make sure no one tried anything bad. Some girls who were wearing middle school uniforms suddenly started recording on their phone. “Dongwoo-oppa! Is she your girlfriend or Daeryongs?”

Dongwoo grinned as the van stopped by them. “Who do you think she looks best with?” he asked as Daeryong just turned to start putting the stuff in the van with Yeahoon. The girls giggled and shrugged their shoulders. “I am just their manager girls. Please excuse us.” Sana said while trying to not blush and led Dongwoo into the van.

Yeahoon climbed into the passenger seat as Sana took over driving. “So… what happened to the van?” Yeahoon asked as he waved at the people taking pictures. “The snow covered the white lines and they took it away.” He just nodded until he realized they weren’t heading back to the house. “Where are we going?”

Sana turned to look at Yeahoon when they stopped at a red light. “Does anyone know where Sangsoo practices at?” She smiled awkwardly as they laughed at her. Dongwoo and Daeryong both just shrugged their shoulders. Yeahoon pulled out his phone and within moments he had an address to put into the GPS. “You text Sangsoo?” Dongwoo asked dumbfounded. The youngest boy shook his head. “Nope, I went to his fan site. Even ballet stars have those. The internet has all of you guys on it with all of your info. Plus I’m a writer, I can research anything at any time.” He said laughing a bit.

They made it to the studio where Sangsoo had been practicing and Sana parked to the side of the building. “You all stay in here so they can’t take this van too.” She turned to Daeryong. “You are in charge.” He nodded as she quickly got out of the van.

Inside the building, there was a security desk that stopped her from going any further. “I need to see your pass card or you can’t pass this desk.” She looked at the old man confused. “I don’t have a pass card. I’m here to pick up Sangsoo Woo.” He laughed and nodded. “I heard that one before… Please leave.” She sighed and dug through her purse for her company card. “No seriously! I am his new manager. Today is my first day.” He took the card and looked it over then threw it in a drawer. “This card looks better than the other fans that come in here. You should keep this card maker.”

She groaned again and tried to walk past the old man anyways. Sana was only 5’4” and the security guard was probably around 5’10”. He just grabbed her and lifted her off the ground. “I’m sorry but it’s time for you to leave.” Sana started flailing around and grabbed a pillar as they passed it. “NO! Not today! I need to do my job!! I have 3 more talents in the van and 3 more at the house and I really just need to pick up Sangsoo so I can go home and teach them how to use the kitchen! I already got the van towed today and I can’t afford any more mistakes!” She yelled as he kept trying to pull her off of the pillar.

Sangsoo came down the hallway from the left and saw security pulling her. “Sana… Why are you holding onto that pillar?” Both of them stopped at the same time before the old man asked. “Sangsoo, do you actually know this girl?” He nodded. “She is my manager.”

The guard gently put her down. “Oh, well in that case, please accept my apologies.” Sangsoo pointed out the glass doors behind them. “I think we will need to call the company for damage control when we get back…” He said as he wrapped his scarf around his neck, covering the lower half of his face. There were some older women recording them with their phones outside who quickly scurried off when they were spotted. Sana fixed her coat and glared at the guard before just sighing and weakly motioning to the door. “Let’s just go home… today and it’s only noon.”

In the car, Yeahoon was already laughing by the time Sana and Sangsoo got inside. “Did you have a bit of difficulty getting in?” he asked their manager. She grabbed his phone to see that the video had already been uploaded. “WHAT IS THIS TODAY!” she yelled as she slammed the door and headed back home.

Chapter 1: Omg lol. It seems like Jiro can be the manager. He knows everyone's schedule and what's going on so well. But aww! so cute when JR tried pushing her out. And i like the concept: 7 husbands. the part about the previous manager was cute (treat them like his wives). hilarious. Update when you can!
