The Invitation
She's Different*ding* *dong*
I perked up from my current chore of wrestling my laundry to put it inside the machine. Why do I have to do this anyway?
I walked towards the door of the laundry room and started shouting, Dara’s in the kitchen so she’s closer.
“Dara! Can you get the door? I think someone’s outside.” –DH
“No I can’t. I’ll have to get carpenter’s tools to unhinge it and get the door.” –Dara
“Very funny, my sarcasm is dripping.” –DH
She then snickered.
“But seriously open the door, I’m in the middle of stuffing my laundry inside the washing machine.” –DH
“Alright!” –Dara
Then I went back to do my chore and started stuffing my clothes in again. I was getting really exasperated as I have never done this before. But I have to do this because my laundry woman ain’t coming anytime soon.
I was busy tucking my jeans inside when Dara came into the room bringing a red envelope with her.
“What’s that?” –DH
“It came with the package. Wait. Wha-WHAT ARE YOU DOING!?” –Dara
I looked at the washing machine and glanced back at her.
“Uhmm. I’m doing my laundry?” –DH
I drawled out questionably.
“Laundry if you consider stuffing the washing machine as if you are filling up a small suitcase with one month of clothing! Water can’t even be added there!” –Dara
I looked at the washing machine confusedly. But it said to fill it up.
“Tsk! You are so clueless! Hold this envelope! I’ll do that.” –Dara
She started removing all the clothes I’ve stuffed inside the washing machine and started separating them into parts, white clothes, light colored clothes, dark colored clothes, jeans, a pile I can’t discern and my underwears. My eyes widened at it.
“You-you can leave my underwear out, I can do it myself. Ju-just teach me and I’ll continue it.” –DH
I’m not
