They are shouting at each other, at least it is what his fuzzy mind is telling him, although Sunggyu might have only shouted for him to shut up. He isn’t drunk, not completely yet but he guesses he’s pretty close to knocking out. He is seeing more than one Sunggyu. He stumbles on as the leader grabs him and pushes him towards his bedroom, his dark windowless room.

Woohyun tries to break loose but Sunggyu’s grip is too strong for him in his drunken state. He soon finds himself dumped on the bed as the leader covers him roughly with blanket. Wanting to protest the leader’s rough handling, he opens his mouth but only gibberish comes out. Nothing concrete on his second try and he decides to give up. Anyway, he seems to have spoken more than enough in the living room just now. That’s only one thing that disturbs him as he drifts off to slumberland. He just couldn’t recalled what he had said.

The dorm is quiet when he wakes with an aching head and the urgent need to visit the bathroom. Staggering out to the kitchen after finishing his business, Woohyun heads straight to the refrigerator and gulps down water straight from the bottle to quench his burning throat. He drops himself on the sofa in the living room, checking out the time at the same time. It’s already mid noon, the rest of the members must have gone for their individual schedules. These days, he is the only one with lots of free time, the others are busy with acting, variety program filming or sub-units promotions.

He had went clubbing with his friends last night out of boredom but coming back drunk wasn’t in his original plan. And definitely not making a ruckus and woken the leader in the process. Sunggyu had immediately lectured him on his lacking in sense of responsibility. Woohyun rubs his throbbing head as he tries to remember what happened after that. He has vague memories of himself shouting at the leader. Although he couldn’t recall the whole thing, Woohyun is pretty sure it wasn’t nice since he was both intoxicated and frustrated. He had been feeling unwanted recently with all the members busy with their work.

Sudden dip in the sofa breaks him out of his thoughts and he finds Sungyeol sitting beside him, looking at him intently. He did not notice when the younger came back. Seconds go by and finally Sungyeol break the silence, asking him whether he meant what he had said the night before. Whether he really thinks that Sunggyu doesn’t have the right to lecture him since the leader only got the position being the oldest in the group. Whether Woohyun thinks that he deserves a solo album more than the leader since he is a better singer. And most importantly, whether he thinks the leader has more individual schedules because the Sunggyu is forever bootlicking the management.

The memories of the previous night come rushing back as Sungyeol speaks. Woohyun begins to remember everything, the spiteful words he had spoken, and the blatant accusations he had hurled at the leader. He couldn’t believe he had behaved so horridly to Sunggyu, even in his drunken state, his behaviour is inexcusable. He wishes that everything is a bad dream but the continuous pounding in his head caused by his hangover doesn’t allowed him to deceive himself. The images of Sunggyu’s initial shocked and then wounded expressions surface in his mind. Woohyun knows these images will haunt him in days to come. He needs to apologise to Sunggyu and hopefully convince the leader he doesn’t meant any of the rubbish he had spouted.

Failing to get any response from Woohyun, Sungyeol stands and leaves for his room. But not before dropping the bomb that wipes out Woohyun’s hope. The younger informs him that this morning while he is still in his dreamland, the leader has announced their new dorm arrangement. Contradicting to the original plan for the hyung line to shift out to the new apartment, Hoya will be going with the two oldest instead.

And once again, Woohyun is left with regrets for his actions. He has never expected this. He has never meant any of his previous rash decisions. He doesn’t want any of these to happen. If only he has a second chance …
