A few days later. 

Jessica's PoV

Donghae, are you well? 

Can you hear me? 

I've been well too. 

Donghae, i miss you. Its been almost a year and i promised i would move on. Byani it looks like it will take time for me to do so. 

Although, i have been happier recently. I met someone, a friend. She reminds me so much of you that it seems like she could be your younger sister. Shes funny, caring and also...stupid. Just like you used to be. 

Ive started to take more care of myself, Donghae like i promised. Ive been crying less, not so much with drinking though...

I hope you're well up there, Donghae...Happy Birthday...

 Today i didn't wake up that sad today, even though it was his birthday. I just wanted to greet him. 

After getting back from the cementery i came back home to find someone on my couch 

"Tiffany. Why are you on my couch?" the black haired girl beams a smile up at me showing me her eye smile 

"awh Jessi don't be like that" She gets up from my couch and puts her arms around me.

"Its his birthday today isnt it?" she whispers in my ear i can tell shes trying to hold back her tears from the way her voice cracked

And i too try to hold back my own tears. 

"Kwenchana sica?" she softly says.

I fell onto her as my legs weakened, crying into her shoulder. I thought i was doing well, but here i am crying. 

"Byani sica..." She holds me tighter gently patting my back. 

I cry as much as i wanted to, crying till i couldnt stand to cry anymore and Tiffany joins too. 

After a session of crying together we pull back from eachother and laugh at how smudged our make up got. 

Tiffany would come visit me once in awhile to check on me, especially when i needed it. Just like today. She is my bestfriend afterall. 

But recently Tiffany has been begging me to be set up by her. Shes kinda like that, she loves playing cupid. 

"Fany-ah, i dont think im ready yet." I say before she begged me even more

"I understand..." She says whilst looking down at the floor

"Tiff don't you have work to do?" I say, she looks at her watch and jumps straight up. 

"Byani Sica" 

"Anni, go, go before you get scolded by your boss again." I say as i gesture her to leave 

she smiles at me and i see her out the door.

"Sica you need to get outside more okay? i'll see you soon bye~" she says before getting a taxi

Yuri's PoV 

The amount of schoolwork i have to do is making me go insane. Gaaah! if i have to do one more essay i might just have to drop out of school.

"Yuri-yah are you going to walk home with us today?" My friend Im Yoona asks me 

"Yeah, i'll just finish up this last question." i say 

She sits right infront of me whilst i do my work, she then suddenly starts laughing. 

"Yah Kwon Yuri, you still draw this stupid cartoon characters" She laughs whilst pointing at me. 

Ive had this habit of doodling whenever i was stressed. From elementary to university i still do it. 

"You're so childish" she sticks her tongue out and laughs 

"Oww!" Yoona says in pain 

my other close friend Hyoyeon appeared out of nowhere and flicked Yoona's head 

"Stop teasing her Im choding-ah!" i smile at her thank her then stick my tongue out to Yoona

"Shall we go?" Sooyoung says standing behind Hyoyeon.

I head out with my friends leaving school. As usual we would walk home together. We liked walking through the beach and messing around. 

I notice someone familiar at the beach, the same blonde...Jessica. I stopped walking and my friends look back at me 

"Aigoo" I say pretending that i had forgotten something 

"You forgot something again didnt you?" Hyoyeon asks, and i nodd

The others all face palmed at the same time. 

"Yah you walk on your own okay? aishhh" Sooyoung says 

"Byani...haha..." I laugh sheepishly 

"Pabo..." they all say as they continued on walking

"See you tomorrow guys!" i shout waving at them and they all raise their arms as they walked away

i look back at the blonde that was still on the shore and approach her. 

I make sure not to make sound and sit right next to her

"Drinking again?" I ask and she turns to me in shock. 

I noticed that her eyes were red and she in fact was drinking again. 

"Jessica..." i wipe away her tears, seeing her like this broke my heart. 

"Aish kid you don't need to comfort me" she laughs then takes my hand away from her face. 

She offers me a bottle of beer at first i deny the request but she only insisted more so i took s few sips to make her happy. 

What happened to the happy Jessica?

"Can i ask why you were crying...?" I ask pretending to take another sip of beer

"Would you want t know?" She says back and i nod

"Its his birthday today" 

Oh 

"I see..." i say "Byan-" 

"Yah, didn't i say you didnt have to apologise?" she says 

"Ah byan-" 

she tutted and flicked my forehead 

"Owh!" okay i did deserve that

" stop saying sorry, alright?" i nod 

I watched as she drank more of her beer getting drunker by the minute she gets up and starts skipping away

"Yah, where are you going?" I shout getting up

"Catch me honey~~" she says drunkily and nearly falls over 

"this pabo" i mutter then run after her. 

She stops at the dock looking down into the sea. I manage to catch up with her and stand next to her. 

"How deep do you think it is?" she asks, she starts to get tipsy and unbalanced and i have to hold her so that she wouldnt fall. 

"I dont know" i say 

"Well lets see..." She says

After that she grabs me then pushes me in to the sea. 

"YAH! JESSICA!" 

she laughs pointing at me 

i struggle trying to keep myself from drowning 

"YAH I DONT KNOW HOW TO SWIM" 

she stops laughing and all i hear her say is "Must be really deep" before she takes off her white shirt and dive into the sea

she grabs me and pulls me out onto the shore. I shiver and my teeth chatter whilst i rocked myself back and forth

"Are you crazy?!" I would hit her for pushing me into the water but, i must admit im scared of her, especially drunk Jessica.

"I just wanted to see how deep it was" she says trying to act like a kid. 

Why do i get myself involved with this girl? i must be the mad one. 

I realised that she was sitting next to me not wearing her top 

"Yah...You're shirt" i say as i grab it and throw it at her 

She takes her shirt then hands it to me i look at her confused. 

"Since i pushed you, you can wear it" 

I grumble and take it anyway, i wouldnt had have to if she DIDNT push me in the water. 

"What wrong with you?" i scolded her forgetting that i was talking to Jessica Jung

"Yah!" she hits me and flicks my forehead and i rub my forehead in pain

"I just wanted to see how deep it was, im still older than you punk, you think you can scold me easily like that punk? huh? Huh?" she pokes me hard on my right arm, i probably should never anger drunk Jesssica. 

i look down at the floor and apologise. 

I don't see why i should be the one apologising though. 

"Aish thats right you punk" she says before falling onto my shoulder whilst closing her eyes and mumbling. 

i sigh loudly, she must have had drunk alot. 

i let her lay her head on  my shoulder there for a while and look far into the sea 

She mustve had a hard day today huh... she always does try to hide her true feelings

i put my arm around her bringing her closer and i stare up into the sky

 

 

Jessica's boyfriend, are you well?

Would you mind if i stayed by Jessica's side? 

i'd like to stop her from hurting. Be there for her. And make her happy.

I'll make it as your Birthday Present to you,

I know you wouldn't want her to be having a hard time whilst you're gone.
