At the park ….

“Woof! Woof! “

“Ginger are you that happy? I am too ,” said little Taeyeon while waiting for Yuri.

Suddenly , Ginger begin to run and dragged little Taeyeon along .

“Yah Ginger !”, shouted Taeyeon.

“Woof ! woof! Ginger dashed at a speed of light without breaking, causing Taeyeon to bump into someone specifically the little girl she had been waiting for.

“Ouch!”, winced the little girl .She was about to burst into tears.

“I’m sorry. My puppy Ginger went berserk “, said little Taeyeon while softly caressed the little girl”s cheek .

“Its  its okay. I’m Tiffany ,” said the little girl while showing her eyesmile.

“Tippani? I’m Taeyeon. This is my puppy Ginger.”

“Its Tiffany ,” pouted the little girl.

“Woof!woof! Ginger begin to attack Tiffany.

“Yah Ginger! Bad boy. What is wrong with you?”, little Taeyeon to the rescued, pulled Ginger away.

“Ginger man cookies?”, Taeyeon tilted her head to the little girl”s hand.

“Grandma baked it for me.”

“ I’m sorry I think I know why . The cookies. He must have mistaken it for dog treats. Ginger loves gingerman treats. That the reason he’s been called Ginger ,” explained little Taeyeon.

“That’s cute ,”little Tiffany then begin to break her cookies into pieces .

“Ginger , here lets share”, said little Tiffany to the black poodle. Ginger begin to devour the cookies on her hand , it deliciously.

“Ahahaha ,” little Tiffany burst out laughing due to the ticklish sensation from Ginger’s tongue causing her eyes to reached her ears only to disappear like a crescent moon.

“Pretty ,” little Taeyeon unconsciously said .

“Ticklish.. its ticklish ,” little Tiffany said  almost out of breath due to the laughing.

“Ginger no! Stop it ! ,” little Taeyeon took Ginger away to her side while repeatedly apologizing .

“I’m sorry ,” little Taeyeon said while offering Tiffany her handkerchief .

“Its okay Taeyeon. Ginger is cute. Can I pat it?”

“Yea sure. Here you go.”

“Its so fluffy and its killing me,” said little Tiffany while patting the black poodle.

“Despicable me ?”, Taeyeon tilt her head once again which Tiffany finds it cute.

“You watch that too?”, little Tiffany beamed her eyesmile once again. It was her favourite cartoon show.

“Yeah. I like it ,“ little Taeyeon answered with a thumb up.

“Really? Than we can be friends since you like the same thing”,  Tiffany said while cuddling the puppy.

“Friends ,” little Taeyeon offered her small right hand for  a handshake.

“Its soft.. Like marshmallow  ,” Taeyeon couldn’t help but to beam a smile that showed her chin dimple.

“ Taetae there’s hole on your chin.” * Poke poke *

“Taetae?,” asked the now confused Taeyeon.

“Yes. Taetae. You are Taetae.  Taeyeon is too long ,’ explained the little girl.

“O…okay “, little Taeyeon blushed secretly enjoying her new nickname.

“Taeyeon!!! Where are you?”, Yuri was heard shouting .

“Oh its Yuri ,” Taeyeon fidgeted  around not knowing what to do. She wanted to keep this as a secret but ….

“Ginger!”,  little Tiffany was seen running chasing after the puppy that had just escaped due to Taeyeon  spacing out.

“There you are!”,  said little Yuri while running along with Hani .

“Woof! Woof!”

“Who are you?”, asked little Yuri while softly patting the black poodle.

“I’m Tiffany.”

“Why are you with Ginger? Are you trying to kidnapped our Ginger?”, little Yuri said while glaring at the girl.

“No! no! Its not like that,” just as Tiffany was about to burst out into tears….

“Yuri!!”, shouted Taeyeon from behind.

“Taeyeon ! Hurry , this girl wants to steal Ginger ,”  said little Yuri.

“I said no! its not like that,” said little Tiffany while sobbing.

“Yah Yuri! What did you do to her?”, asked the now fuming Taeyeon.

“I didn’t. She wants to steal Ginger!”, explained Yuri.

“Yah pabo. She is my new friend. She was helping me to chase after Ginger ,”Taeyeon kindly explained to her best friend.

“ I’m sorry I didn’t know ,” Yuri apologized.

“Fany , are you okay? Don’t cry. I’m sorry. This is my best friend Yuri ,” little Taeyeon said while wiping her tears off with her small thumb.

“Fany?”, now is Tiffany’s turned to tilt her head.

“Yes since you call me Taetae , I’l call you Fany. Now please don’t cry ,” little Taeyeon pleaded .

“Umm umm one condition”,  little Tiffany said .

“What is it Fany? As long as you stop crying”, said little Taetae.

“I like Ginger . So can you please bring Ginger to the park everyday to play? ,” she then beam her eye smile.

“Okay no problem.(  I’m already doing it isn’t it? Taeyeon mentally sigh in her head) Now stop crying. You look ugly when you cry,” teased little Taeyeon.

“Yah!! I’m not ugly. I’m a princess.  Promise?,” little Fany sticked out her pinky finger.

“Yes yes promise your highness”, little Taetae then hooked her pinky to hers as promised.

As time past , little Taeyeon and Tiffany spent most of their time together. They would occasionally meet at their usual spot and soon became inseparable. Due to Tiffany’s love for dogs, they would even learn how to baked cookies, cakes and treats specially for Ginger. Taeyeon who wasn’t so fond of the idea would gladly complied to her as she knew Tiffany’s way of having fun . Tiffany on the other hand was happier than ever oblivious about someone . Tiffany had the preferences of dressing Ginger into something that wasn’t quite right according to Taeyeon . Probably treating it as a female .  

“My poor Ginger might landed up with identity crisis , Pany. It’s a male like seriously”, little Taetae pouted.

“It dosent matter. Ginger is still Ginger.  Awww , so cute ,” Tiffany said in awe as she had successfully transformed the said puppy into some princess with ribbons and etc.

Just as she was about to protest , her mind was defeated by her heart . Its like her heart went weak whenever its Tiffany . She just couldn’t say “No” to her. Even if she wants too , her heart would always play tricks on her mind and ended up winning. Could you believe it? Isnt it weird when your brain is supposed to control every system and function of your body? So how can it lose and yet still function as it normal self well maybe not so normal in terms of heartbeat . There’s only one word for it Whipped.  You are so whipped Taeyeon. Well that’s what according to Yuri.

Just like that they would even go to the vet together for Ginger’s treatment and etc. Tiffany would tag along with the excuse of “ Ginger needs his mom” which she literally declared all by herself implied things like Ginger was her adopted son and etc. Now if Ginger was her son then what is Taeyeon? Isn’t it alittle weird when Ginger was hers to begin with. Sometimes , Yuri couldn’t quite understand this side of hers but Taeyeon on the other hand find it cute. Tiffany would even shower Ginger with gifts on his birthday February the 10th. A birthday should be the bornday  but as for Ginger ,  a slightly different case as Tiffany literally proclaimed him a birthdate based on their first encountered at the park . Taeyeon find it unbelievable but nevertheless could only chuckle and complied to it once again. Yuri however thought and feel that Ginger should share the same birthday as Hani .

Tiffany is someone who is always full with idea . She definitely knows what she wants even at a young tender age. She would come out with ideas like taking pictures of Ginger and turn it into framed puzzle. Taeyeon remember that she was being forced to take photo which she literally hates as she was shy. Yet again yada yada  adacadabra magic happens you know?  And tada she managed to smile brightly holding Ginger with Tiffany by her side kissing the black poodle. They both kissed Ginger one side each. If people were to mistaken it as a mini family portrait, it would definitely passed. With that, they both spent  weeks fixing the puzzle with more than 10000 pieces . According to Tiffany, it has to be hand made instead of the short easier way of sending it straight to paste and then cutting it into pieces without breaking it and viola done. Tiffany added that sincerity is important as it comes from the heart and hard work so Ginger would definitely feel it.

Just like that, many sweet memories were created and things are great until a specific day when Tiffany did not turn up. A day  to a week, months , and without knowing its been years now. Taeyeon was devastated by the fact that Tiffany had left without a single note but yet she deep down she wanted to hold on to their little promise . She would still go to the park every now and then reminiscing the past with the hope that her certain someone would be there. Sometimes life have its own way of testing and teasing us.  Keeping positive was the only way but yet to who are we fooling? It had certainly taken its toll on Taeyeon as she became alittle more passive .

Taeyeon would spent most of her time alone mostly in her room playing with Ginger . She became overly attached to the black poodle more than ever. She would study the said puppy’s behaviour like sleeping on the bed facing the AC body touching hers. His habit of drinking warm water before food , jumping on the couch whenever someone taps on it , barks loudly to whatever sound , people or vehicles , his favourite toy , and cute little attics. Little by little, Taeyeon became an expert as if she could read and understand the puppy’s mind. She could differentiate the different meaning to his every bark , those puppy eyes , and not to mention his every gesture like putting his head and rubbing it against her hand meaning that he wants to be pat ,  bitting on his blue wool toy meaning he wants to play pull , lying on the floor with his legs up meaning he wants to be clean after a poo, while standing straight  meaning he wants to be carried. Taeyeon would occasionally talk to Ginger, telling him all of her heart felt feelings , asking him if Tiffany would  missed her just as much as she does? And all sort of other things probably because puppy is the only kind soul that wouldn’t judge and would remained loyal. Surprisingly as if Ginger too,  understand her feeling would occasionally barked to her question as thou he’s answering . There are times when Taeyeon would cry herself to sleep only to find Ginger by her side her tears away and constantly snuggle close to her as if he wanted to hug her .
