He who longs the sun“Uhm, I went searching for you last night… and saw you on the way back in the rain.”
“Then did you see Hwanuk? Do you know him?”
“I don’t know what you’re talking about.”
Hawol steps grew heavy as she counted them, unaware that her pace was slow enough to delay time. That by the time she reached the empty street of her shortcut, dusk was already creeping up into the sky. This time however, her foot did not waver and her knees stood strong as she watched the countless monotonal colours blushing up the white clouds.
“Pretty…” she mumbled as her eyes stayed locked on above.
“Indeed.” the word echoed gently.
An extremely familiar figure had formed and slowly, Hwanuk appeared from the darkness of the abandoned garage wearing a white, slightly seasoned t-shirt and a pair of olive shaded capris. Hawol’s face brightened as she approached the young man, smiling gladly. “Hello stranger. What, do you go out only at night?” she teased.
“If you want to think it that way.” he replied, a cheeky smirk painted on his handsome face.
“Like a vampire.” she mocked, testing the man again
Hwanuk smiled and nudges the young lady gently, walking ahead as he stuffed his hand into his two baggy pockets. Hawol’s lips parted, making a huge, yawn-like shape with as she trotted along trying to keep up. “That was so not nice!” she demanded, brisking slightly behind the tall lad.
