Bang! There goes the 4th gunshot hitting number 6 on the lower part of the paper target

Bang! 5th gunshot hits number 9

Almost there she thought, but as she was about to pull the trigger for her 6th shot her friend who have had enough of the girl’s unusual performance in shooting interrupted her by holding firmly on her right arm

“What?” she lowers her Caliber .45 ACP HK45 and removed her black Howard Leight ear muffs as she face her friend who now look puzzled and at the same time annoyed

“Will you hold your horses, Jess? Are you trying to be a mobster or what?”

Jessica knitted her eyebrows, what is wrong with her?

“What are you talking about?” she said as she slid her pistol back to the holster

“That’s already your 250th round and you have not even hit the center target which is very surprising, are you perhaps stress or anything?”

And yes, Jessica Jung was caught off guard by her friend’s question because she herself don’t know the answer to that, all she know is that her mind feels clouded for the past four days. Yoona knows how good Jessica is in gun shooting and how the latter would hit the target easily, but today is different, Jessica, not even once hit a target despite shooting countless of bullets.

Jessica could only fake a laugh but Yoona know her too well, she’s aware that her best friend is hiding something from her.

“Jess, come on. Is there something that bothers your mind? You know you can tell me anything, right?”

You'll only freak out if I'll tell you that I've been thinking about the girl I met in the church four days ago. I can't be attracted to her, right? I mean why would I? For pete's sake she's a girl, or maybe her mini black dress is too beautiful that I can't forget her

"I'm perfectly fine, Yoona"

"Jessica Jung, you go in a shooting range for two reasons only" says Yoona while holding up her index and middle fingers on air "One is when you're mad or hurt and two is when something confuses you" Jessica bit the insides of her cheeks trying to look unaffected from Yoona's self observation theory.

"And how can you justify those reasons?"

"Remember when you secretly went back here in Korea just to surprise Dongahe oppa in our school?" Jessica nods her head telling Yoona to continue her story "But you were the one who got surprised when you saw him in the hallway exchanging saliva with our campus' cheerleader.."

 Jessica muttered under her breath

"And I was shocked when you stormed inside my classroom and drag me out just to be your audience in venting your anger here in the range"

"Crap, that was 7 years ago and you still remember it?" Yoona rolls her eyes "How can I forget it when you were the reason why I got zero in our math quiz?"

"You're so funny, Yoong. Didn't know you like holding grudges" Jessica laughed 

"And number 2" she continued despite her friend's annoying laugh "remember when you were 20 and flirted with Ok Taecyeon, the only son of our country's Foreign Affairs Minister? You met him once but that didn't stop you from exchanging sweet messages to each other for 1 whole month and that made you confused with your feelings with Donghae oppa so you went alone to the shooting range to clear up your mind and it so happened that I was there too with my Dad and unfortunately I became your instant audience"

"I beg you, Im Yoona, don't you ever tell that to Hae, okay?"

"And now you're doubting my loyalty to you, Jess?"

"I didn't mean it that way, Yoong. It's just that, uh - nevermind" 

"It's just that?"

"Are we seriously fighting over as to why I'm here in the shooting range?" Jessica ruffles her hair in annoyance

"We are not fighting here, Jung. I'm just asking because I care for you and if you still don't want to answer me then I guess I'll just assume that you're really confused over something" and Jessica could only eye her friend suspisciously, just how... and something from the past flashed inside her head

"So you're still good at it. I see" Jessica backfires making the younger girl puzzled.

"Huh?"

"If only uncle Daniel didn't stop you from pursuing med school I bet you're a psychiatrist by now.

Yes, Im Yoona really wanted to be a doctor, a psychiatrist to be exact. It has always been her thing to read and evaluate someone's behavior and her ears are always ready to listen to everyone's stories. She majored Psychology in college and was supposed to pursue her studies in Johns Hopkins School of Medicine where she worked hard just to secure a slot but her dream remained a dream when her father sent her to Oxford to take up Masters in Business Ad and she had no choice but to follow her father's decision and forget her dream.

"It's you who we are talking about here, Jess, not me" She crosses her arms over her chest  "Anyway, I'll stop my interrogation here 'cause I already have the answer" Jessica rolls her eyes

"Anyway, is Sooyoung still running that clinic?"

"Yeah and she even opened a restaurant beside it"

"What the.. so she's a chef now? That girl never fails to amaze me" Jessica shook her head in disbelief 

Yoona took a glance on her wrist watch to check the time "Why not we visit that giant and eat at her restaurant? It's already lunch time anyway and you haven't seen each other for almost a year now, right?" Liking the younger girl's suggestion Jessica can't help but smile and bobs her head in agreement.

A woman wearing a textured knit varsity sweater and a blue ripped jeans was mindlessly sitting on a swivel chair with her legs resting on top of her desk suddenly jumped off when her phone started ringing

Gosh, that almost gave me a heart attack she muttered under her breath with her left hand clutching her chest while the other one was reaching for her phone

"Hey! What's up?.. I don't have a customer right now.. of course! it's been awhile since the last time you brought your baby here.. yeah sure, no problem.. 10 minutes? okay I'll see you then.. bye" she put her phone back on her desk as soon as the call ended and was about to get back on her previous position when her wind chimes' sounded which instantly filled the room indicating that there's a customer. 

"Welcome to Fuzzy Wuzzy -" her words or rather greetings were cut off short when she saw the two people who entered her clinic/shop

"What the ! Jessica Jung!!" she immediately ran and locked Jessica in a tight hug making the latter almost lose her oxygen

"God - Ch..Choi Sooyoung!" Yoona who thought she have had enough of laughing finally pulled Jessica away from the tall girl.

"Oh, sorry!" She said "Anyway,when did you arrive?" Jessica could only pat her chest as she tries to regain her normal breathing so Yoona took the honor in answering Sooyoung's question

"Just last week, Soo"

"Last week?! Why didn't I know about this?"

"Soo, you were in Japan, remember?" and the tall girl made an O mouth shaped reaction and chuckled a little on how she forgot about that little thing.

"Anyway, you and Jessica should take a seat first while I grab someth -" and for the second time that day her words was once again cut short when the wind chimes sounded 

"What the hell? Why am I always getting interrupted today. Jush why - Oh hi!" out of curiosity the two girls also turned their heads to see who entered Sooyoung's clinic and there, just a meter away from the entrance door they saw a confused girl carrying a cute pomeranian.

"I thought you don't have customers?" she looked at Sooyoung and then shifted to Yoona whom she gave a brief a smile and then to Jessica, I'm sure I saw this girl before she thought

"Silly, they are my friends, not customers" She walked towards the person and took the dog from her

"Sorry, I didn't know.." she then went to them and extended her hand for a hand shake

"Hi I'm Kwon Yuri"

"Im Yoona" she smiled and both exchanged a nice to meet you, Yoona then released her grip from Yuri when the latter faces Jessica

"Jessica Jung"  Yuri's jaw almost reach the floor the moment she heard that name, and now she's gawking at her

"" she curses

"Excuse me?" Jessica raised her brow from the sudden profanity

Realizing the word that just came out from she immediately snapped back and gathered her act together

"I - I'm sorry. It's just that - wow, small world" Great Yul, you shouldn't have said that 'cause they will only ask more questions her subconscious said and she was right because...

"Small world?" Yoona butted in

She laughed awkwardly in attempt to divert the girls' attention, but Jessica didn't buy that laugh, and as she was about to open to ask about the small world thing, Sooyoung suddenly joined their conversation who seems to be clueless on what the three girls were
