He's never been the type to leave without a goodbye.

He's promised himself that he's never going to be selfish again, he'll leave and stop being such a burden in everyone's life. The first place he goes to visit is his parents.

It's been too long since he's last visited them, but he remembers just how amazing they were. Passing each tombstone until he came to a stop in front of his parents, tears pouring out uncontrollably as he broke down in front of their tombstones. 

He remembers their faithful words, how they had accepted his and Baekhyun's relationship shortly before they passed away in a car crash. He remembers the drive to the hospital, the restless nights that he had until they were announce dead.

"Hi umma, hi appa..."

He loses himself as he speaks mindlessly to their gravestone, hours passing by. When he's done, he gives them one last kiss before he makes one more stop.

Baekhyun's parents.

They took him in when his parents died. He owes them this much. They begged for him to stay but he couldn't, he knows they'll be better off without them. But he stays one more night just for them.

It's the closest he's felt to home in a long time.
