002: Eternal

I stood at the side of the small room filled with people bowing their heads, paying respect to Saemi's parents as I stood right beside them while holding onto Saemi's enlarged photo. I held onto the sides of the frame and squeezed my eyes shut, letting all the tears fall. My sobs got harder and all I could feel was the pain in my heart. 

Saemi was gone. 

There was no coming back. 

We had no eternity. 

We have no forever. 

Yesterday, when I blew my birthday candles, I wished for Saemi and I to grow old together and take care of our own grandchildren. All of my hopes, dreams, and the love of my life are gone. The reason why I continued to pursue music even after all the hardships EXO had to go through was gone. 

A large warm hand touched my shoulder, squeezing it; hoping it could give me strength to go on. 

"You're going to be alright son," Saemi's father consoled me. 

I was thankful, because her family tried their hardest not to break down and cry right in front of me. All for me. They were already a part of me, after all, they were supposed to be my father-in-law and my mother-in-law. They tried their hardest to comfort me in any shape or form, but none of it were working. All I needed here with me was Park Saemi. 

"I'm sure Saemi doesn't want to see you like this," Saemi's mother explain tearfully. 

However, no matter how much they told me to stop crying I just cried buckets more. 

There was nothing that could make me feel better.

"I wonder how many children we'll have in the future?" I asked out of the blue while hugging Saemi on the red checkered blanket that was laid on the grassland. She glanced at me and scrunched her nose. "You're already thinking about that?" I peered my eyes away from the stars above the sky and looked down at the most beautiful human being I've ever laid eyes on. 

I grinned and said, "Why not? Family planning is always good you know." 

Saemi giggled and looked up at the sky and said, "I'll have as many children as I can bare." 

My smile grew even wider. I swiftly hovered on top of her, looking at her deep brown orbs. I couldn't help but get mesmerized at her beautiful loving eyes. Saemi looked straight into my eyes, not even blinking. I leaned closer until our nose were already touching. I closed my eyes and let my lips touch hers. I could feel her arms wrap around my neck, pulling me closer to her. 

I molded my lips with hers, moving in sync as she held onto my nape. 

Her lips tasted like strawberry mixed with peach and she smelled like fresh citrus. I smiled under our kiss and couldn't help but
