“Unni! This is why I didn’t want you to manage this event!” Namjoo frowned

“Yah, Kim Namjoo. I want this day to be perfect for you. I don’t want anything amiss!”

“Unni. Its not even wedding! It’s just an engagement!” Namjoo rolled her eyes. “Besides, having you beside me would make it more perfect!”

“Arasso arasso. I’ll leave everything to you Jun!” Eunji said to her right hand man and headed with Namjoo

“And I still cannot imagine how you convinced Sehun to have the engagement party in a club!”

“Hmph. Wedding is going to be too formal anyway. I wanted everyone to be more loose and enjoy the engagement!” Namjoo shrugged. 

“I should go greet Sehunnie then. Where is he by the way?”

“He’s there with his friends.”

“Ah, I’ll be back after greeting them. And yeah, Hayoungie was searching for you!”

With that Eunji headed towards the group to men huddled in a corner

“Anneong everyone!” she greeted them with a familiarity that came after knowing them for few years. 

“Ah, Eunji noona! So you finally got time for us!” Sehun commented

“Ya, who do you think I’m doing this for ? Anyways you guys look quite excited. Did something happen?”

“You know Chen right? The one we always talk about?” Baekhyun asked excitedly

“Umm.. The smart, outgoing beagle gang member?“

“Yeah, he’s back in Korea and we are just excited to see him after long!” Chanyeol replied excitedly

“Ya, Kyungsoo ah. Is he really what they make him out to be? Because according to them, he sounds..quite unimaginable” Eunji asked Kyungsoo who was the most dependable one out there

“They may have exaggerated a bit, but yeah he’s something like that. I have a feeling you will get along with him Eunji.”

“Hmm, since you are the one saying it I’ll believe it then.” Kyungsoo had come become one of her good friends, and she trusted him immensely.

“Yah~ Why don’t you belive what we say!” Tao complained

“It’s just that way!” Eunji shrugged “And we are having this party in club for god’s sake. Are you guys just going to sit and talk? Aren’t you going to dance?”

“ Well, if you are the one I’m dancing with, then I’ll be right there~” Baekhyun commented

“Well, tell your girlfriend hi from me Byun Baekhyun.” Eunji turned away and headed to where her girls were

“Ah, Eunji ya. There you are! “ Chorong called out

“Did you need something unni?” she asked out of habit

“Yeah. We needed you. Let go of your job today, and just enjoy this party as a friend!”

“Arasso unni...I’ll try not to think of the job too much..”

The guests started flowing in and soon the dance floor was full. Eunji was talking with few people she knew, with a drink in her hand, but they too soon left her to go dance.

With no one to talk to, she was just people watching. A crowd was formed in the floor, and people huddled around a man dancing crazily. She smiled at herself. She always admired the people who was ready to be made fun of, just to keep the mood up. 

Just then, Hayoung approached her, huffing and puffing from all that dancing

“Unni, you have to join us. It really is incomplete without you!”

“ But Hayoungie, you know I’m not much of a dancer right?”

“You don’t have to be a good dancer to dance in a club, unni. Namjoo unni too wish you to be there. Come?”

“Ok then.” Eunji put her glass down and followed Hayoung to the dance floor

It was true that one need not be a good dancer to enjoy their time on dance floor. Eunji was having time of her life dancing with them. Somewhere between third and fourth song, their group had drifted apart and she was dancing with total strangers now; not that she minded.
