jongdae races through the heavens, dodging neatly between clouds and other spirits as he spurs his lightning bolts further onwards. he much prefers working between the clouds as opposed to raining lightning down on the earth below. he doesn't like the damage his lightning causes to those living far below but he continues as he was created to.
as the lightning prince, much of his time is spent ferrying his lightning down to the ground. he fingers the slim silver circlet resting on his head absently. it was well known that lightning was the hardest to control as well as being incredibly dangerous. most stayed well clear away from him, perhaps fearing he'd turn out like the previous lightning prince who'd almost destroyed the world in a fit of rage. only the bravest spirits dared 'consort' with him, as they so eloquently put it, but most times jongdae would find himself alone with his trusty staff, playing with his precious lightning bolts.
he sighs, sending another bolt down to earth with a flick of his finger. no use dwelling on it.
