Chapter 17
Cinderella's revenge -신데렐라의 복수를-
Chapter 17
“N-No.. this can’t be..” she blinked repeatedly. “Yu Jin is not..” she was panting as she remembered what the two girls said about him that day. Still, she refused to believe it.
Jang Mi, pull yourself together, this can’t be right!
She shook her head to both sides then rushed toward the elevator. She needed to catch up to them and find out by herself where Yu Jin’s room was, even if she had to search every single room in that floor -that was surprisingly the one where she was staying.
She bit her lower lip as she kept looking at the numbers and luckily, there weren’t many people beside her in the elevator so it wouldn’t be stopping as many times.
As soon as its door opened, she made her way with a stride down the long hall and spotted the woman hugging Yu Jin. Her blood started to boil, but as she looked closer, she turned out to be searching his pockets, and that he was completely unconscious. Jang Mi was no longer able to think straight and she walked toward the two of them and stood still for that girl to get aware of her presence:
“W-Who..?” the woman raised a brow at her as she saw how sharply she was scowling at her, almost burning holes in her face. Jang Mi took a deep breath and shut her eyes close. “I should be the one to ask you this question.” She folded her arms.
“What? Hah, what a funny girl..” the woman replied with a snicker.
“Watch your words, and now, answer my question, who are you and what relationship do you have with my fiancé?” Jang Mi glared at her and said while eying her in disgust.
“Y-Your.. fiancé you say?” she sounded like she didn’t believe her. “Ha, don’t make me laugh, this hottie told me nothing about his fiancée or engagement as far as I recall. So, go away and mind you own_” but Jang Mi grabbed her hand and tightened her grip on it, saying among her teeth: “You Miss are the one who needs to back off and pull your hands off of him!”
“How ironic now! Are you trying to start a fight with me ?!” she yanked her arm away, and cursed at Jang Mi.
Her harsh words hurt Jang Mi but she endured it, seeing that Yu Jin was completely drunk and that he reeked liquor. Yet, that woman went further than merely curse at her:
“Well too bad your fiancé came running into my arms! Apparently you weren’t able to prevent him from looking at other women when he was with you!”
Jang Mi’s eyes flowed open, as she did her absolute best not to waver in front of that woman. But this, was going too far.
“Humph, see? I am totally right it seems!” she laughed in amusement. “Now little miss get the hell out, as you can see your dear fiancé isn’t even willing to leave my ar_”
Jang Mi’s hand slapped her on the face before she could finish her sentence. The woman was too taken aback because she never could’ve imagined that a girl that looked as pure and harmless would actually react.
“Get lost.. before I call the police.” Jang Mi mouthed, “I can easily accuse you of intended theft since you’re trying to access our suite without mine, or his permission.” She inhaled deeply then combed her stray strands of hair back behind her ear before clearing , leaving the woman at a complete loss of words.
“W-Wha..?”
“Now if you excuse me..” she wrapped her arm around Yu Jin’s shoulder then pulled him closer and torn him away from her, snatching the key card from her hand and unlocking the door, before getting inside and then made sure to shut the door in her face with a loud bang.
She stumbled, tried to prevent herself from falling down and hit the floor because he was so much heavier than she expected.
“Just… why would you get yourself this drunk… you… idiot!” she hardly made it to the bedroom area. “Just a little bit… mooore!” she gritted her teeth and then released him so he would fall on the bed. She panted and collapsed beside him.
“You almost killed me.. hah.. I wonder how was she able to handle pulling you around.. the whole way…” Jang Mi knew that she was uttering nonsense but she did that so she won’t actually feel more self-conscious for being alone with Yu Jin in his room. Her face flashed and she rapidly pulled herself up when:
“Don’t go..” she heard a voice and that wasn’t hers. Her heartbeat raced and she gulped.
It’s my imagination, yes, Jang Mi, just leave, you need to!
She nodded at her own assumption and then stood up but a hand grabbed hers and squeezed it, followed by a whisper:
“Don’t.”
“B-But,” she bit her lower lip, because deep inside her she couldn’t bring herself to look at him, now that doubt made its way to her heart and she couldn’t trust Yu Jin blindly as she did before.
“I said don’t go!” he yelled, then and with one swift move pulled her down to the bed and trapped her with his arms. “What are you doing?! Let me go!” she glanced left and right in a panic, all what she knew was that she wouldn’t allow herself to look him directly in the eyes. “Do you think that I’ll let go now that I finally.. got a hold of you?”
Oh no, oh no, if this keeps up.. The scene of the last time he was drunk and their passionate kiss were enough to make her struggle and press her hands against his chest in trial to push him away, only that he didn’t budge an inch.
But just now you were too vulnerable that you weren’t able to stand properly! She panicked.
“Look at me, why are you avoiding my gaze?” his tone softened even though he pinned her two wrists down beside her head.
B-Because you’re giving me a heart attack!
“Why are you this strong?! Earlier with that woman you showed no_” she tried to protest, but he lowered his head, his face buried in the nape of her neck and she could feel his hot breath and it made a chill run down her spine.
“O-Ok, ok, I give up! I won’t ask you anything anymore!” she was freaking out.
“You smell nice.” He pointed with a mutter. “It makes me want to make you mine so badly..”
“E-Eeh?” and by the time she was frozen to what she heard, he was kissing her neck, many times and she grasped the fabrics of his blouse, a ticklish sensation was spreading through her along with an unfamiliar yet pleasing feeling. She found herself completely powerless now that his kisses were all over her skin.
“W-Wait!!” she was so red and knew that her attempts were probably futile face to the burning passion of his desire. “Y-Yu Jin wait!” she gasped for air when his lips crushed against hers.
She moaned and kept gasping for breath when he broke their kiss for him to speak:
“I hate seeing you with that guy.. Stop meeting him.. no.. in fact don’t meet any other guys at all.”
“You really… are in no position to_” but he collapsed, probably from the alcohol and his face was latent in the hems of her messed shirt.
She sighed in relief.
I don’t know what would’ve happened if he didn’t fall asleep..
Fantasizing about it was only making her redder by the second.
“Stay..”
She heard one last mumble coming from his mouth and she couldn’t help but give up on the whole idea of getting angry at him, since it was no use. Combing her fingers through his hair and then pulling the bed sheet over the two of them, Yu Jin let out a groan then positioned himself so that he was clinging at her.
She heard him call her name several times in his sleep and that made her heart flutter as she held him close to her. She wished that they would never get separated again. And yet, that wasn’t possible as things are now.
His life was messed up, because of her, people are taking advantage of his kindness and misery to hurt him. All of this was wrong, and had to change for the best.
“I’m sorry..” she blinked a few times to prevent her eyes from becoming tearful, she brushed her fingers against his face and then landed a soft peck on his cheek when he slightly flinched and moved his head, to have their lips touch. She pushed herself up and covered .
“No, No, I said that I should be strong and do what’s best for him.” She nodded at herself then sat by the edge of the bed and took the pen and notepad he had on his nightstand, then tore a sheet of paper and started to write something on it, leaving it on the nightstand and heading out the room.
