My personal checklist for a good fanfic*:
- Good grammar (correct punctuations, capitalizations, etc.)
- Nice plot
- Correct and consistent characterizations
- Relatable
- Realistic emotions and way of thought
- Good ending (does not imply happy ending)
- Clear storyline, background and setting
My pet peeves in a fanfic*:
- Cliche
- Main character is too:
- feminine
- naive or stupid
- good to be true
- pushover
- Cliffhangers
- Cheating (main character)
- Inconsistency in plot or writing
