“I will be leaving tomorrow morning with my parents. I hope you can take good care of So Eun when I am not around,” Sulli said with a smile on her face.

“I promise, Sulli,” Suzy replied and smiled back.

“Guess you just need to come back tomorrow night. Thank you so much, Suzy and Kris.”

“No problem,” Kris said. “Suzy loves kids.”

Sulli smiled and hugged Suzy. “Thank you, Suzy. By the way, you made the right choice,” she whispered.

Suzy looked curious. “You’re welcome, Sulli.”  Then they both let go.

“We’ll go ahead now. Have a safe trip,” Kris said and hugged Sulli once again.

“Thanks, Kris.” She smiled.

So Eun was already asleep that’s why they didn’t bother to say goodbye to her.

“Do you want to eat first?” Kris asked Suzy who was still curious about what Sulli told her. You made the right choice.

The two were walking along the street since Kris’s car was still with Jaehyun.

“Suzy?”

“Oh.” She went back to her sense and asked, “What are you saying, sunbae?”

“What are you thinking, huh? I am asking if you want to eat.”

She nodded. “Yeah. Sure. Let’s eat.”

Kris brought Suzy in a restaurant where they are sitting on the floor. They ordered beef, hot ramen and soju. They sat together and started to have deep conversations.

“What were you thinking a while back?” he asked.

“Sulli told me that I made the right choice but I’m curious why she told me that.”

He slurped the soup and said, “Because you broke up with your jerk boyfriend.”

“Eh? Do you think she’s interested about it?”

“Yeah. Because So Eun’s father is Mark.”

“WHAT?” She furrowed her brows and took the soju in front of Kris and gulped it. “Are you serious?”

His mouth was opened in surprise. “What the! Are you even a girl? Do you drink?”

She shook her head. “Just now. So, are you serious?”

“Yes. Okay, I am freaking serious.”

She took the bottle of soju again and gulped it.

“Hey, I told you not to drink too much! Give me that!” he exclaimed and snatched the bottle away from Suzy.

“JERK! HE’S A BIG A** LIAR!” she shouted. Guess she’s already drunk.

“Aish! Will you lower your voice? Some customers are watching us,” he said in embarrassment. He looked at Suzy worriedly because it seemed like she’s going to cry again. “Hey.”

“What?” she asked and buried her head on the table.

“Are you going to cry again?”

“No,” she said softly but she was going to.

He clucked his tongue and sat beside Suzy. He pulled her head on his shoulder and said, “Alright. Just cry on my shoulder.”

She shook her head and just buried her face on Kris’s chest. “I won’t cry.”

“Cry as much as you want tonight but promise me never to cry again. This will be the last time you’ll cry over him. Do you understand?”

She nodded and cried silently.

Kris laughed and looked at Suzy. “Heol. You look like a mother of So Eun, Suzy.”

Suzy hit Kris’s arm and frowned. “And you look like a father.” Then she smiled at the mother. “No, we are not So Eun’s parents. Nice to meet you, Bo Young’s mom. We are just her guardian but maybe we’ll attend the family day.”
