Chapter 3

A few weeks later Yuri is finally back from the trip.. she and Yoona agree to meet again after a few days of resting to help each other chosen the photos for the campaign. After weeks of exhaustive mountain climbing and camping they both agree that they need to sleep on a decent bed and get fully rest. Yuri drop her backpack down on the floor and head to shower right away… Feeling refresh Yuri smile to herself after a long and comfortable shower..it felt nice to return home even though there is no one there waiting for her.. She thought silently to herself before grabbing her cellphone looking at it for a while.. thinking whether she should call Tiffany or not.. She sits on her bed and ponder..then suddenly her cellphone ring and that makes her smile right away..

"Hello Fany-ah" Yuri said

"Yuri-ah! Are you home now?" Tiffany asked in excitement

"Yep. Why?" Yuri asked

"I'm just worried. Why didn't you call me when you get to Seoul?.. I was waiting for your call" Tiffany said

"I just came out of the shower..a moment ago" Yuri said as she let out a light chuckle

"Oh.. Really?" Tiffany asked

"Yeah. I was about to call you too, but you seem to be faster than me" Yuri said

"I just want to hear your voice…since it has been quite some time that we kind of disconnected.." Tiffany said

"Sorry for that. We were in the mountains so.. the signal was a bit.." Yuri said

"It's ok.. I know.. since you texted me that you're about to go into the mountains.. I was worried.. Thank god that nothing happened to you" Tiffany said

"I told you it's safe and since you told me to think about my safety before anything.. How could I get myself into trouble?" Yuri said as she lean her back on to the pillows enjoying the conversation

"Good thing that you didn't get yourself into any trouble. How was the shooting? Did you get nice photos?" Tiffany asked

"Yeah.. I got a lot as well as Yoona..This shooting was absolutely amazing. I will send you some of the photos after I gave it to the publisher" Yuri said

"I will look forward to it" Tiffany said

"And how are you doing? Any good news about your debut date?" Yuri asked

"Umm.. It's coming along. They sent my profile to various production companies and I got some auditions schedule next week.. Maybe soon" Tiffany said

"Good to know that. I hope you land a good role" Yuri said

"Thank you and I hope your publisher will like your photos" Tiffany said

"Thanks. I don't want to say this..but I kind of miss you" Yuri said as she lets out a sigh to herself

"…What?" Tiffany asked taken back by Yuri's words

"Sorry.. It must make you feel awkward. I'm just a bit lonely since I open the door and see no one" Yuri weakly smile to herself feeling a little embarrass after what she just said

"..N..no.. It's not making me feel awkward… I'm just surprise…that you…em..miss me" Tiffany said

"Sorry again.. Aish.. I shouldn't have said it.. So embarrassing" Yuri said as she mentally face palm herself

"..Well.. It's not just you.. I kinda miss you too" Tiffany confessed

Then there is a silent between the two..both of them could not help but smiling to themselves brightly… Yuri then let out a light chuckle..then heard Tiffany let out a light laugh somehow they know that they are actually doing practically the same thing….

"That was kind of awkward, wasn't it?" Yuri said

"Yeah.. It's embarrassing" Tiffany said before let out a light scream as she could feel her hands and feet begin to curl up

"Totally" Yuri said

"But it's ok" Tiffany said

"Yeah.. It was ok" Yuri agreed

"Did you find anything interesting during the trip?" Tiffany asked

"Umm Yeah.. I found one spot that is totally awesome. It was like standing at the top of the world.. you can see everything and the air was so fresh. You might want to go there if you have some time off" Yuri said

"Like with you?" Tiffany asked

"Maybe.. if you want to" Yuri said

"It sounds nice.. Let's just say after I debut we will see about that" Tiffany said

"I will look forward to it" Yuri said

"You said you just came out of shower… So you just arrived at your place like… a while ago?" Tiffany asked then look at the time…it was quite late already..

"Yeah" Yuri said and could not hold in her yawn

"I must have called you at a wrong time… You must be so tired.." Tiffany said and begin to feel sorry

"No.. I'm ok.." Yuri said then let out another yawn

"You should take some rest since you just came back from the trip. I'm sorry..for calling" Tiffany said

"Don't be.. I was about to call you too.. It's ok. I want to hear your voice as well" Yuri said

"Thanks..but I think you should rest. I heard your yawning… You must be so tired" Tiffany said

"A little.. but it's ok. I can hang on a little bit" Yuri said

"No.. you should take some rest and we can talk later.. I'm not going anywhere" Tiffany said

"Well.. If you said so then.. Goodnight" Yuri said as she finally gives in

"Don't feel bad.. I don't want you to get sick…" Tiffany said as she notice how Yuri's voice is a little sullen

"I know..Thank you" Yuri said as she let out a smile

"Well…then goodnight.. Sweet dreams" Tiffany said and let out a smile

"Sweet dreams" Yuri said as she hang up the phone and smile upon it for a while..

After that very phone call the two of them meet up from time to time, when Tiffany has her free day that allows her to be on her own without having Taeyeon be with her all the time. They would go to Han River for a walk and talk to each other or even go around Seoul for shopping together and simply enjoy themselves. Just like today Yuri is once again waiting for Tiffany in front of her dorm, they simply planned to go to Namsan Tower since Tiffany never been there yet. Yuri look at her watch once more and keep looking at the entrance expecting to see Tiffany to come out of the building any minute..before looking at the sky..

"Today's weather is so nice" Yuri said to herself as she let out a wide smile

"Sorry.. for making you wait" Tiffany said as she runs towards Yuri

"It's…ok" Yuri said as she turns around to look at Tiffany, she immediately let out a smile…

Tiffany is as bright as she has always been in her casual outfits since it is not her first time going around with Yuri, so she knows not to put on skirt or dress because Yuri always travel around by using her motorcycle. At first it was quite a scary experience for Tiffany, but as time goes by she get use to it and she know that as long as she is with Yuri nothing is going to happen.

"Why are you looking at me like that?" Tiffany asked

"Like what?" Yuri asked back

"Like you got shot with a stun gun" Tiffany said

"Can't I be stunned? Since you look really good" Yuri said and smile

"Oh Com'on.. Stop teasing me" Tiffany said as she slap Yuri on the shoulder

"I'm not" Yuri said as she hands Tiffany the helmet

"Let's just get going" Tiffany said as she puts on her helmet and let out a light chuckle

"Straight to Namsan Tower?" Yuri asked

"Why not? I heard a lot of people go there.. like tourists" Tiffany said

"True.. I thought you might prefer the night view rather than the day" Yuri said as she puts on her helmet

"Why don't we go there and stay until the sunset?" Tiffany asked

"Seriously?" Yuri asked

"Yeah.. I know that it's near Myeongdong… We can go shopping!" Tiffany said enthusiastically

"You can just tell me that you want to go shopping" Yuri joked

"Yah.. I want to see the Namsan Tower too" Tiffany said

"I'm just joking.. well then let's go" Yuri said as she get on her motorcycle and start the engine

And off they go to the Namsan Tower, Yuri make sure that she has parked her motorcycle at the parking space before she buy them both the cable car tickets and take the cable car up to the top of the Namsan Mountain. The cable car is a little cram up since there are a lot of tourists and so, both of them were kind of force to be close together and not that they mind, but it has been quite some time now that they found themselves this close to each other since Tiffany spent a night at Yuri's apartment.

"Are you ok?" Yuri asked as she get a little closer to Tiffany since there is someone pushing her at the back

"Yeah.. Just a little cramp.." Tiffany said as she tries to look around then as the cable car passed the mid point it shook a little and that somehow lands her directly in Yuri embrace. The two of them look at each other awkwardly..

"You can hold on to me" Yuri said as she lightly place Tiffany's hand on her jacket

"..Thanks" Tiffany said lightly

Yuri let out a weak smile before holding Tiffany in her arms to make sure that Tiffany will not fall over or fall back and with surprise Tiffany looks at Yuri and only see Yuri smiles upon her..Tiffany could not help but smiles back…they are closer than before, but this kind of closeness has now make both of them feel a little nervous too.. As the cable car safely stop at the station…all the tourists rush out leaving Yuri and Tiffany alone, they look at each other for a while before Yuri lightly take Tiffany by the hand and walk out of the cable car together.

"There're a lot of people today.. I know it's tourist attraction..but never thought it will be this pack" Tiffany said as she walks hand in hand with Yuri

"Perhaps there is some kind of event here today" Yuri said as she shrug

"Or a filming? I think I see some fans hovering around there" Tiffany said as she points up to where the Tower is

"How did you know that they're fans?" Yuri asked as she looks where Tiffany just pointed

"Fan signs. Can you see them?" Tiffany said as she lean closer to Yuri and point to where she sees

"Ahh.. I see them now…" Yuri said as she sees the fan signs then look at Tiffany and surprise that Tiffany's face is only a few centimeters away from hers

"Sorry" Both of them said in unison and back away from each other a little, but their hands are still intact

"..It's ok" Both of them said in unison once more and keep on walking until Yuri let out a light chuckle

"What's so funny?" Tiffany asked

"Nothing.. I just like it that we kinda always have this perfect timing" Yuri said

"Weirdo" Tiffany said as she looks at Yuri and Yuri just stick her tongue out

They both laugh and continue to walk up to where the Namsan Tower is located hand in hand and when they finally reach there they see the filming set and a huge group of people hovering around the filming area. Yuri just simply walk passed them and go to the ticket booth and buy them both tickets to get to the observatory and the teddy bear museum since Tiffany gives her the leaflet and points at it enthusiastically. As they both got the tickets seem like the filming is done and all the fans that were quiet earlier begin to shout out the star's name at first Yuri did not care about who it was until she see the blonde hair figure walks through the crowd with her manager. Jessica continues to talk to her manager and when she looks up she sees Yuri and Tiffany hand in hand standing together at the platform. She froze for a moment and her eyes immediately dart to Yuri..as their eyes met.. Yuri just simply turns her back on Jessica and lead Tiffany into the Tower… acting like she did not see Jessica, but Tiffany knows that for a moment right there Yuri saw Jessica just like she did… She looks at Yuri, who has her poker face on.

"I never ask you this..but do you have some kind of issue with Jessica?" Tiffany lightly asked as soon as they are in the tower

"No. Why do you ask?" Yuri asked

"Because you seem as if you're avoiding her. Not just seeing but also not to talk about her..or even hear anything about her" Tiffany asked and look straight into Yuri's eyes

"I just don't like talking about her" Yuri confessed

"Why? Did you two have a fight?" Tiffany asked

"Sort of" Yuri said

"That day..she appeared in front of your apartment.. Was she tried to make up with you?" Tiffany asked

"Yeah.. She tried..but it was too late" Yuri answered

"How so? If you don't mind.. since we're friends, right?" Tiffany asked and Yuri let out a sigh

"We have some sort of a fight…and never talk to each other for 2 years.. That's all. Why don't we go to the museum?" Yuri asked with a smile on her face

Tiffany knows right then that is how far Yuri will let her know about this issue and so she stop asking for more..deep inside she wish that Yuri would trust her more and tell her everything.. she did not want to be nosy…what she wants is to let Yuri knows that she can be trusted and rely on. She only wants Yuri to trust her more and at the very least rely on her sometime. She looks at Yuri and sigh lightly to herself..one day Yuri might trust her enough..

Later they enjoy the day by walking through the teddy bear museum and take a lot of photos of themselves together by using their cellphones instead of using the camera that Yuri always like to carry. When she asked Yuri about this.. Yuri just simply answered that she wants to stop being a photographer for a day since she always carries her camera around too often and she just want to have a day off. Tiffany smile upon hearing the answer..it is fun to enjoy a day off together like this. Since she has been busy lately preparing herself for auditioning. It is quite a stress relieve to go out and have some fun with someone that she feels comfortable with..not that she feels uncomfortable around Taeyeon..it just that she need to be away from Taeyeon since they almost being together 24/7. When they finally step out of the elevator and see the whole Seoul in front of their eyes… Tiffany immediately walks to the windows and look at the city down beneath her with fascination and at that moment Yuri take out her cellphone taking photos of Tiffany without letting Tiffany knows. She smile at how adorable it is to see Tiffany this excited.

"Wahh.. It's so pretty" Tiffany said as she looks outside with a lot of interest

"You're just like a kid coming here for a school trip" Yuri said since this is her 3rd time being at this place

"I couldn't help since it's my first time here" Tiffany said as she turns around and look at Yuri

"Yeah..I know" Yuri said then chuckle

"I have been curious for a while now.. since we're about same age..but why do you always act like you're older than me..when I'm actually older than you" Tiffany said before putting her hand on her hips

"Because you're way too cute to be older than me" Yuri teased then let out a light laugh

"Is that really a compliment?" Tiffany asked

"It's depend on what you have in mind" Yuri said then shrug before smiling playfully to Tiffany

"It better be a compliment" Tiffany said before turning her back on Yuri

"It is a compliment" Yuri said as she stands behind Tiffany

"Good to hear that" Tiffany said as she turns her head slightly to look at Yuri

"Let's walk around" Yuri suggested before lightly wrap her arm around Tiffany's waist for a side hug then takes Tiffany's hand

They walk around the observatory and stop from now and then to take photos of themselves with Seoul as a background. They were constantly laughing with each other and hugging each other simply just enjoying their time and make their way down to the gift shop and see the tile wall full of writings. Tiffany look at them in awe as Yuri just simply walk passed them. Tiffany look at each one of them as much as she can and notice one in the many somehow she just find this particular tile interesting..

"Yul<3Sic Let's be together forever" Tiffany silently read the message.. then glance at Yuri..somehow she felt the tile and Yuri has some kind of relation

"Fany-ah.." Yuri said as she turns around to see Tiffany looking at the tile wall

"Why are you still over there?" Yuri asked as she walks back to Tiffany

"I just want to read some of the message that's all" Tiffany said as she smile

"Ahh.. Couples' messages" Yuri said as she looks at the other tiles

"It's kinda cute, right?" Tiffany asked as she looks at Yuri waiting for Yuri's reaction

"Kind of.." Yuri answered halfheartedly

"Why don't we go over there and check the gift shop out" Yuri added

"Yeah.. sure" Tiffany said a little disappoint at Yuri's reaction

While Tiffany is browsing through the gift shop..she glance at Yuri who seems to look at the tile wall for a moment before Yuri turns around to the gift shop and begin to look around the shop as well. Tiffany immediately goes back to look at the item that she has her eyes on a moment ago..Meanwhile, Yuri just look around and took interest in the ceramic music box. She pick it up and begin to think back..when she came to this place for the first time with Jessica..everything was very much interesting just like Tiffany…even this music box..

"Uwah.. look at all the tiles..Sica" Yuri said at the first sight of the tile wall

"Wow.." Jessica said as soon as she see the entire wall

"All of them has message on.. Wah.. This must be the couple tile thing that people are talking about" Yuri said

"Want to do one?" Jessica asked

"Do you want to?" Yuri asked

"Yeah. Why not?" Jessica said

"Then let's go to the gift shop. I think they sell the tiles over there" Yuri said then grab Jessica's hand and rushes to the gift shop

After they got their tile they look at each other for a while…not knowing what they should write on it. Yuri keep thinking until she has a good idea and begin to write down. Jessica immediately take a look of what Yuri is writing and break out a smile then a light giggle as she sees the message that Yuri wrote. Yuri smile proudly as soon as she finished.

"Let's stay together forever? I never thought you can be so childish" Jessica said and laugh

"Then do you have anything better than this?" Yuri asked

"No.. It's good" Jessica said

"Aish.. and I thought you have a better idea" Yuri said as she smile

"Do you really want to stay with me forever?" Jessica asked

"Yeah. If I don't want to then why would I wrote it down?" Yuri asked

"True.. but do you think that we can really be together forever?" Jessica asked doubtfully

"You don't want to be with me?" Yuri asked as she walks toward the tile wall looking for a free spot

"No.. I'm just curious" Jessica said as she walks behind Yuri

"As long as you want me to stay with you and I want you to stay with me.. I don't think anyone can separate us" Yuri said as she put the tile onto the wall and look at Jessica

"Yeah.. No one can separate us" Jessica said as she lean closer to Yuri then give Yuri a light kiss on the cheek..the two of them look at each other before hearing the light sound of a music box playing from the gift shop

"That…sounds nice" Yuri said as she begin to walk back to the gift shop

"It sounds like a music box" Jessica said

"Because it is a music box. Look" Yuri said as she pick one of the small ceramic music box up and show it to Jessica

"So pretty" Jessica said as she look at the miniature ceramic Namsan Tower slowly turning around

"Do you want one?" Yuri asked

"Yeah.. It will be nice to put one of these in our apartment" Jessica said

"I agree.. Why don't we ask them" Yuri said as she looks at the sale person not far away

Then after they ask the sale person and choose their model for the music box as well as the song that they like and pay the money. They end up having a new accessory in the apartment..which is still in Yuri's apartment now.. even though Yuri never set her eyes on it ever since she and Jessica has broke up…or even hear the song from it.. To her the music box is already be forgotten just as much as she tries to forget about Jessica.. With that flashback Yuri immediately put the music box back and turns away to look for Tiffany…who is now looking at a bunch of key chains

"Do you want one?" Yuri asked

"I'm just looking. I personally like the music box more" Tiffany said as she points at the music box

"It's pretty, right?" Yuri asked

"Very and it sounds nice too" Tiffany said

"Should I get you one?" Yuri asked

"Nah.. It's ok. I think I don't need a souvenir" Tiffany said

"Really?" Yuri asked

"Yeah. I live in Seoul after all. I can come here whenever I want to" Tiffany said

"Maybe not.. when you're famous" Yuri said

"It's ok since I got the photos that I took with you" Tiffany said then smile widely

Yuri lightly chuckle and nods upon hearing those words from Tiffany. They later leave the Namsan Tower. Fortunately that the filming has already wrapped up and there is no sign of fans or even Jessica. The two of them then slowly walking down the path leading them back to the cable car station. Hand in hand..and comfortably…enjoyably together..they did not talk to each other much just simply enjoy each other company and the fresh air of the early autumn. With a fun thought Tiffany decide to walk on the not so tall wall, while her hand still in Yuri's. Yuri keep holding Tiffany's hand tightly afraid that Tiffany might fall back.

"Why don't you come down already? It's kinda dangerous now" Yuri said since the further they walk the higher the wall become

"Ok.. Then catch me" Tiffany said as she prepare to jump down

"I will catch you" Yuri said as she reaches her other hand out, so that Tiffany can hold on both of her hands

Then the two of them looking at each other for a moment, seeing Tiffany like that makes Yuri could not help but admit to herself that she has completely falls for Tiffany. The way that Tiffany smiles upon Yuri makes her feel as if the world has stop turning and completely forget about the surroundings.. she knows it was not suppose to be like this… she thought that she could control her feelings..but in the end..she could not.. with Tiffany keep on smiling makes Yuri could not help but smile too then finally Tiffany decide to jump down and thankfully Yuri is able to catches her as she lands safely on the ground although she did lost her balance a little, but since Yuri is there she falls directly into Yuri's embrace once more. Tiffany lets out a light giggle when she finally has the chance to look at Yuri..she suddenly froze by seeing how Yuri is smiling upon her..it is a very warm smile and Tiffany did notice the way Yuri is now looking at her.

Something has change in the way that Yuri is looking at her..there is more than the usual gentleness and Tiffany could feel the love that Yuri is now casting on her by just looking… and Tiffany could feel herself smiling somehow by staying like this make her heart fill with such happiness. For a moment there Yuri does not care less about the world or where they are currently standing.. she just totally admiring the person in front of her… as if her brain is no longer in control of her feelings..Yuri slowly lift up her hand to lightly touch Tiffany's face..at first Tiffany is a little surprise by Yuri's sudden action, but somehow she only find herself lightly smile back as she can see Yuri slightly lean down closer and closer to her. For a moment it seems like the time has stop as their lips touch for the first time…the kiss as light and gentle..but somewhat fiery as they both could feel the feelings that they both share and have kept away from each other for quite some time now.. They slowly pull away from each other and look into each other eyes seeing that they have somehow manage to have the mutual feelings towards each other… Yuri weakly smile as she lightly caress Tiffany's cheek…she could feel her heart becomes alive and be someone that she has lost for 2 years…somehow she felt like herself in a long while.. Seeing her reflection in Tiffany's eyes make her happy…although slowly she begin to realize what she has done and slowly step away…

"..I.. I'm sorry" Yuri said as she realize how she has make a stupid mistake

Tiffany looks at Yuri confusedly…She can see how Yuri's eyes change before she step away… she knows that something is wrong..but it definitely not their kiss.. Something is making Yuri acting this way.. Tiffany slowly approach Yuri, who is now turning her back on Tiffany…Tiffany slowly place her hand on Yuri's right arm..to make Yuri turn around to see her, but Yuri still not responding and so, Tiffany has no choice but to reach up to Yuri's face and lightly turning her face around to look at her directly. There is regret and sadness in Yuri's eyes..she could not help but feel sorry to see Yuri like this..however, there is something she needs to make sure of and with that she gather all courage she has to lean close to Yuri and intentionally give her a kiss on the lips once more. Yuri is so surprise by Tiffany's sudden action, at first she was about to pull away but somehow she could not as she finally surrender herself to the feeling that she has and let her heart has a full control over her once more… As they pull away from each other once more Tiffany makes sure that she has tightly grasp of Yuri's hand and did not let her go no matter what..

"Don't step away.. Look at me in the eyes" Tiffany demanded as she looks at Yuri, who is now looking back at her

"Tell me what you feel..Don't turn away… Don't turn your back on me" Tiffany said as she truly wants Yuri to trust her completely and be able to open up to her

Yuri could not find any words to describe of what she feels at the moment..she found herself speechless…she knows she should not have kiss Tiffany in the first place… however, she also could feel how irresistible it is to stay this close with Tiffany and still has this linger feelings on her lips.. she can feel the need to feel Tiffany's soft lips on hers once more.. she finally admit to herself that she is now completely in love with Tiffany to the point that she cannot holding herself back.. With that she lean down for another kiss and this time Tiffany smile upon the kiss and begin to kiss back. Yuri lightly put her arms around Tiffany's waist and pull Tiffany closer, while Tiffany reaches up and has her arms around Yuri's neck pulling Yuri down a little… As they could feel the need for air..they begin to pull away from each other..as they continue to look at each other in daze…and smiling happily to one another then Yuri pulls Tiffany into her embrace…

"That's how I feel…" Yuri said as she loosen her embrace and smile

"That's all I want to know" Tiffany said as she smile back then she soon sees Yuri smile begin to fade away

"But you have your dream… Let's keep this feeling to ourselves and…" Yuri trailed off

"And..what? Forget it?" Tiffany said as she can see the look in Yuri's eyes

"You have your dream…don't throw it away because of me" Yuri said

"Loving you has nothing to do with throwing away my dream. We can be together..just like we've been doing so far" Tiffany said

"I've been there.. At first it will be fine.. then it will gradually get worse. I don't want to hurt you… We know our hearts and that is enough" Yuri said as she weakly smile

"Knowing that we have this feelings for each other but can't be together…that is enough for you?" Tiffany asked

"It's enough for me.." Yuri said as her eyes sadden but show such satisfaction

Tiffany found herself speechless looking at Yuri, who still has a smile on her face. She knows that deeply Yuri wants more than just that too..but something has been holding her back.. It is not like Tiffany is totally agree with what Yuri is saying…but when Yuri already said that what more can she say… She knows that she cannot persuade Yuri to think the same way…and ultimately let out a light sigh… How can she act around Yuri now..when she knows that there is something more than friends between the two of them..then a long silent take over them as they stand still for a moment…with that they decide to call it a day and when they arrive at Tiffany's place…they just simply say goodbye without any sign of affection..as if they have distant themselves somehow…as if the kiss never happen.. Deep inside Yuri is torn by her decision..but she knows better than anyone that this is for the best and soon the feelings between her and Tiffany will surely fade away…

And so slowly Yuri and Tiffany begin to drift apart from each other…not knowing what to do Tiffany stop texting Yuri and calling her.. She just does not know what should she say to Yuri.. Yuri did text her from time to time, but slowly the number of text begin to decrease.. Tiffany does not have the courage to open and read them so she just leave them in her inbox…never know what Yuri has texted her..afraid that she might eventually answer one of them…afraid that she might let herself to run after something that she knows that does not exist in the first place..They did not meet up with each other and slowly from days turn to months… At first it was hard for Tiffany to go back and focus on her audition…but since it is Yuri's decision not to be more than friends.. Tiffany then slowly left her personal life aside and focus on her audition instead..which is very effective as she found herself focus more about her auditioning more than just her feelings… After a few months of countless auditions, Tiffany was casted into a musical production as a lead actress… The production of Carmen, an adaptation of French opera, a tragedy of love…a story about a gypsy woman that involving herself with two men and end up getting herself killed by one of them… The character of Carmen is young, wild and free, which in the audition Tiffany has put her heart and soul in.. thinking about how would it be like to be free from all things and just completely be in love…with that she won the role and finally has her first debut as a leading actress. Upon hearing good news Tiffany calls Yuri without thinking much, but she found that Yuri's phone to be turned off..which makes her very surprise.. Later that day Tiffany and Taeyeon meet up with Yoona and Seohyun for a small party among friends at her place.They have fun by talking and congratulating until Yoona said something..that make Tiffany froze for a moment..

"Too bad that Yuri Unnie can't be here" Yoona said

"Yeah. Too bad…" Seohyun agreed as she looks at Tiffany

"Unnie.. Are you ok?" Seohyun asked as she sees how Tiffany froze by just mentioning Yuri

"Yeah.. I'm fine… Actually I did call her earlier..but her phone was off..so.." Tiffany said as she shrug trying to act normal, but Yoona and Seohyun just give her the weird look back

"Well.. of course.. It's going to be off.. Unnie.. Didn't Yuri Unnie tell you that she will be going to France like a month ago?" Yoona asked

"What?" Tiffany asked not believing what she just heard

"She went to France already. A month ago" Yoona repeated

"I..I never know that" Tiffany said

"Strange…when I asked Yuri Unnie about this.. She told me that she already told you" Yoona said and look at Seohyun for support

"I remembered she said that she already told you" Seohyun said

"What? No.. She never told me.. wait.." Tiffany said as she took out her cellphone and browse through her texts and find Yuri's last text

"I'm going to France tomorrow.. Just to let you know.. Yuri" Tiffany read the text silently and look up at Yoona

"Don't tell me that she texted you" Yoona said

"She did… Why didn't she call to tell me about it" Tiffany said as she looks through the other texts

"Maybe because you didn't answer any of her texts… that must be why" Taeyeon added roughly

"Did you guys fight?" Yoona asked

"No.. We..just…" Tiffany trailed off as she did not quite sure how to explain her situation with Yuri..but then Yoona knows right away

"Ah.. I think I know what happened" Yoona said knowingly and nod to herself confidently

"Yuri Unnie must have done something that make your relationship with her became complicated..right?" Yoona said as she cocked her eyebrows and smile triumphantly

"H..how did you know?" Tiffany asked quite surprise at how Yoona get it right from the first try

"Don'r tell me that she kissed you" Yoona said as she look at Tiffany knowingly then see how Tiffany blushes by her words..she know right then that she is indeed right on the spot again..

"Ahh…Yuri..Unnie…Man.. I knew it" Yoona said as she lean back on her chair with her arms crossed

"How can you know so much?" Taeyeon asked in surprise

"How many years do you think I have know Yuri Unnie.. Ah.. It's not that she always does this.. but this time I know she will eventually did this. The way she seem to be overjoyed just texting with you.. Ah.. I knew it.. She will definitely falls for you… I warned her already" Yoona said as she lightly shakes her head

"T..Then you must know why she refuse to has a relationship with me" Tiffany said as she looks at Yoona…

"What? You want to know that.. Don't tell me.. Ah.. man.. Taeyeon Unnie.. I think we should quit our jobs and open up a matchmaking company" Yoona said as she looks at Taeyeon

"Just tell me..why would she be so afraid to get into a relationship with someone working in this industry" Tiffany said as she cast a certain look to Yoona

"..I guess I have no choice.. but well.. ti's already 2 years.. Yuri Unnie used to date Jessica Unnie…and yes.. I mean Jung Jessica" Yoona said as she looks at Tiffany and Taeyeon, who apparently has her jaw drop

"What?" Taeyeon asked surprisingly, while Tiffany just nods her head.. finding herself not quite surprise…

"You don't seem to be surprise.. You know already?" Yoona asked

"I have some suspicions about it.. So..what happened?" Tiffany asked

"They know each other for a long time..before Jessica Unnie became the big star. You know that Yuri Unnie was the one who took Jessica Unnie's profile photos, right?" Yoona asked as she sees Tiffany and Taeyeon nod their heads

"They already were a couple back then. They have been dated for a year or so… At first things were going well. Jessica Unnie was allow to stayed at Yuri Unnie's apartment…but then she later moved out…slowly and slowly they begin to drift apart from each other" Yoona continued

"Just that.. they only drifted apart?" Tiffany asked

"No.. Back then when Jessica Unnie became busier and busier… They missed each other's birthdays..anniversaries...and all sort of things.. but knowing Yuri Unnie.. You will know she wouldn't mind missing those things.. if only she could have some time to spend with Jessica Unnie.. but that was also..impossible" Yoona explained

"So you mean..they just…didn't have time for each other?" Tiffany said

"Yeah…and to make the matter worst was that when they had a photo shoot, where Yuri Unnie was the photographer.. they were told to act as if they didn't know each other… The company knew about their relationship…and told them to hid it.. Do you know how painful it is when you're so close with the one you love..but can't express it…only be able to look at her through the lens.. they didn't even have time to talk to each other.." Yoona said looking back at the days that she was only Yuri's assistant

"So that's why.. she told me that relationship for a star is a nuisance" Tiffany said as she understand now why Yuri said those things to her

"I guess so..And the next thing I know.. was that they broke up and Yuri Unnie swears that she will not work in the entertainment industry ever again. For two years.. she traveled around the country trying to spend her time away from Seoul as much as she can..until she met you" Yoona said as she looks at Tiffany

"And now.. she choose to goes to another country?" Tiffany said as she rolled her eyes at how brilliantly Yuri is handling with her personal feelings

"You can't blame her for it. She has been asking to work abroad for quite some time now. She has been rejecting the offer for the past few months…until a month ago" Yoona said

"Until you didn't send any texts back to her" Taeyeon added

"Whose side are you on? Taeyeon?" Tiffany turns to look at Taeyeon

"I'm just stating the facts" Taeyeon said with both of her hands up in protest of her innocent

"I understand that she must have painful memories with Jessica…but to leave me like this.. this..is so unfair.. and how can she said that knowing our hearts is enough.. I mean..She obviously didn't mean what she said" Tiffany said feeling a little frustrated…

"Then what will you do Unnie? If you were to be in a relationship with her? Will you be able to maintain what you have with her, while manage your schedules?" Seohyun asked

"I would at least try" Tiffany said

"You can't be so sure that it will work out. For Yuri Unnie.. she knows what is already in the bag.. and so, she didn't want you to go through what she has.." Yoona said

"If she felt for me then wouldn't she at least try.. I'm not Jessica..she said so herself.. Never mind that.. this is enough for me to know that what she feels and what I feel is different" Tiffany said feeling a little disappoint to admit that it was also partly her fault

"I must have a say in this..since I'm your manager. I think what Yuri did was right. She left because one, you didn't reply any of her texts and two, she knows that the management company will never let you and her be together and trust me as your manager I'm still not going to allow it even though I'm also your friend" Taeyeon said

"Then why did these two can date?" Tiffany asked as she cast the look at Yoona and Seohyun

"That is a different matter. I'm a model, Unnie.. Unlike you, people didn't pay much attention to me" Seohyun said

"But still it's the same.. I'm not a big star like Jessica" Tiffany said

"What if you become one? I think Yuri Unnie did think about your career" Yoona said

"I don't know.. for me this doesn't make any sense.. why wouldn't she fight for it.. She knows what I feel.. at least she should try…" Tiffany said then let out a sigh..

"Forget about it.. I don't want to talk about this anymore" Tiffany added and look at everyone before taking a glass of red wine with her

"She must feels like Yuri Unnie didn't care about her and left her alone" Seohyun lightly said to Yoona

"I know.. but that is not Yuri Unnie's intention" Yoona said

"Then why would she left?" Taeyeon asked

"She left because she needs to be sure with her feelings…and also.." Yoona said

"Also?" Taeyeon asked

"Also..to make sure that she will not be in the way of Tiffany Unnie's dream" Yoona said

Taeyeon then let out a light oh…realizing that Yuri has indeed sacrificing herself for Tiffany… if Yuri truly loves Tiffany…that will be such sacrifice that Taeyeon is not even sure that she will be able to decide to do the same.. She then turns around to look at Tiffany, who is now at the balcony alone.. If only Tiffany would understand why Yuri act this way.. However, Tiffany already feels as if she has been left alone with her feelings…all so confusing… She does not know what to do..or what to say about Yuri leaving her here in Seoul.. without saying goodbye..

Later when Taeyeon, Yoona and Seohyun finally leave Tiffany's place… Tiffany is now having some time to be alone.. and as she sits on her bed…for the first time in many months she finally has the courage to look through Yuri's texts. She slowly open one by one and the more she read them…the more she felt guilty not looking at them or replied back..

"I know I must have make you confused… I'm sorry.. Yuri" Tiffany read one of the texts silently

"How was your audition? Did it went well?" Tiffany read another one

"You must have been busy.. I'm sorry.. Won't bother you anymore" Another after another Tiffany can feel Yuri's dismay

"Why didn't you at least try to call me.. Babo-yah" Tiffany said lightly to herself as she looks at the last text that Yuri sent her and slowly her tears begin roll down her cheeks..

Many months passed by and it is the first premiere of Tiffany's first musical debut. The performance went well, as Tiffany's acting skills and vocal leave audiences with a great impression, her version of Carmen was bright, cheerful, and full of love. Many were impress by how she seem to be express the free spirited side of Carmen that have never shown anywhere before. Yoona and Seohyun were presented at the first opening night and also amaze by how brilliant Tiffany seem to nailed the performance. While many were congratulate her after the performance is over, a staff suddenly appear in front of her with a pink roses bouquet to congratulate her.

"Someone asked me to give you this" The staff said while hands over the bouquet to Tiffany

"Thank you.. Do you know who?" Tiffany asked

"No.. She just gave me this and told me to give it to you" The staff replied before taking his leave

Tiffany looking t the bouquet with surprise before searching for a card, which she found right away and when she open it to read…she found the writing is pretty much familiar…as if she have seen this handwriting before…

"Congratulation.. Now you can shine brighter than any jewels" Tiffany read and somehow feels like she heard this kind of saying before…then she realize that Yuri said this to her before...

Tiffany then looks around the place…trying to find the person who gave her this ..but the lobby is now filled with people…so many that she could not distinguish much…until she finds Yoona and Seohyun approach her with smiles on their faces.

"Congratulation Unnie" Yoona and Seohyun said in unison, but Tiffany still continue to look for someone that looks like Yuri..but up until now she still find no one..

"Thanks.. Do you guys see Yuri?" Tiffany asked

"No.. Why?" Yoona asked

"I think she's here" Tiffany said

"Why would she be here? She was supposed to be in France" Yoona said

"Look at this card.. Is this her handwriting?" Tiffany asked as she open up the card for Yoona to see

"It really is her handwriting…" Yoona said surprisedly

"Help me find her" Tiffany said

"Tiffany" Taeyeon suddenly appear behind Tiffany

"Yes?" Tiffany asked

"You need to go back to the dressing room. The interviewing session is about to begin" Taeyeon said as she slowly drag Tiffany away

"B.but" Tiffany said as she looks at the main entrance for one last time then sees the familiar backside…almost like Yuri..

"No buts.. we have to go" Taeyeon said as she successfully drag Tiffany back to the dressing room

"Do you think Yuri Unnie is actually here?" Seohyun asked as she looks around

"Who knows.. she might be.. She's Yuri Unnie after all" Yoona said as she smile

Ever since her first musical debut Tiffany's career as a star begin to rise as many products want her to be in their brand ambassador and many also contact her to be in their next musical production. With her charms, she soon become one of the most wanted actress in the industry. She continue to accomplish more and more and feature in many commercials as well as being invited to join many variety shows. From her first musical…it has been almost a year and she has been regard as the new rookie of the year. Even though she may receive much love from the public, she also receive a lot of hate letters and antis coming her way..she still handling all of that with smile on her face and stay as bright as she has always been. Another year gone by and Tiffany's popularity has become even stronger that people begin to compare her with Jessica. Many say that she will surely surpass Jessica's success…but whenever she got ask by this kind of questions she can dodge it nicely every time, so that no issue can be made by her words. Tiffany was never quite sure of when Yuri has returned to Seoul, she never has the time to even talk to Yoona like before.. Until one day something has been clear to her when she sees the news about Jessica meeting someone at the famous cafe in Seoul. She knows very well of who is in the photos with Jessica…it was no one other than Yuri. She found herself a little surprise to see them together…but what make her even more surprise is that somehow..her heart still manage to hurt..upon seeing the two of them together…

"Revealed: Jessica's best friend?" News headline said in a thick red letters

"Are you serious? Even just you have a friend..that go to a cafe together…is a headline now?" Yuri asked as she looks at the newspaper then look at Jessica, who is now sitting in Yuri's living room

"Don't ask me. I have been wondering that too" Jessica said

"So ok.. Let's me get this straight.. from all these years.. you just want what?" Yuri asked since their last meeting was ruined by the paparazzi

"I just want to be your friend again..not that I don't wish we could go back and be together" Jessica said as she looks at Yuri

"You know we can't go back to be like that again" Yuri said as she walks over to the couch

"I know.. that's why I ask to be just friend.." Jessica said as she weakly smile

"Sica.." Yuri said as she looks at Jessica

"I miss you. I miss the time that we used to share together… I miss this place" Jessica said as she looks around

"I miss you too.. but as a friend" Yuri said

"You have someone new in your heart, right?" Jessica asked and Yuri simply nod

"I think I know who" Jessica added

"It doesn't matter. She probably forget me already" Yuri said as she shrug

"Why?" Jessica asked curiously

"She probably thought that I left her.." Yuri said

"Why would she think that?" Jessica asked interestingly

"Since I told her that we should be just friends…even though.. I did kiss her first" Yuri said as she rubs the back of her neck

"You..What?.. Babo-Yah!" Jessica said as she get up from her seat right away

"What?" Yuri asked as she looks at Jessica sudden reaction

"You kissed her and you told her…let be just friends? I never thought you can be this kind of a jerk!" Jessica said

"Whoa..Whoa Calm down.. Never though that having you back as a friend would be this scary" Yuri said

"Are you out of your mind? You kissed the girl and said that you want to be just friend?" Jessica said in disbelief

"It's for the best, ok? It's for her sake" Yuri said

"For her sake? Are you for real? Kwon Yuri?" Jessica asked

"Look.. after what I have been through with you.. I don't want to taste that again..and I don't want her to goes through that too.. and look at how far she comes" Yuri said as she let out a long sigh

"But that doesn't mean you can just said that.. Who would agree to do that? Let me guess she distant herself from you and you two never see each other again" Jessica said

"Yeah.. You're right. Happy?" Yuri said

"And you still love her?" Jessica asked

Yuri did not answer and just give Jessica a look, which makes Jessica knows right away that Yuri is still have feelings towards Tiffany. Jessica let out a sigh and lightly place her hand on Yuri's shoulder as an encouragement..Yuri just simply smile and place her hand lightly on Jessica's…knowing that at least a part of their relationship as friends still there after all these years..

Since then the news between Jessica and Yuri became a hot topic since they are now back together as friends. They casually go out together quite often and of course with everything that Jessica does..it will alway end up on the front page. Many are excited to see Jessica new buddy and wanting to know more then find out about Yuri. Her name became famous to the public as the hottest photographer in Seoul and recent achievement as a Director of Photography for the foreign film makes her even more famous than she ever was. Tiffany could not help but notice the news since they seem to be everywhere and the issue that people usually talk about whenever and wherever…causing her heart to be in more pain than she ever thought she could be… She thought she will no longer have feelings for Yuri..but could not help feeling a little disheartening for the fact that Yuri came back to be with Jessica… unknowing about the truth.. Tiffany begin to believe that after all..Yuri's feelings have always been with Jessica..and not her..

A few months later Yuri got a new job in New York, which makes her move to America for the first time in her life. At first she lives in the hotel that the filming production prepare for her..as she enjoys her time in New York…she ends up buying herself an apartment and begin to consider of moving to New York permanently… Jessica is also considering to make herself known to the world by moving to Los Angeles and making her first Hollywood debut since she begin to has some offers from major production studios..even though the roles that they are offering are just minor characters…but she knows better than anyone that small steps always better.

However, at the same time Tiffany is also in another musical production and rehearsing diligently…until an unfortunate event happens…when the stage lights suddenly drop down onto the stage near where Tiffany was standing…and injured her… Luckily that her face is unharmed…however, her eyes is a different story… The accident makes front page as Tiffany immediately admit into hospital, many of fans show concern and were disappoint to hear the bad news..that she will never return to be an actress ever again…since her eyes are now completely damage.. The only hope for her to be able to recover is a cornea transplant.., which a donor is needed…

Due to the accident Tiffany's management company has already begin to discuss about her contract and how they will slowly let Tiffany goes without making too much drama for the public since they see no benefits in investing on her… Taeyeon's heart is broken as she knows that no one wants this accident to happen and the one that has the worst time coping with the whole situation is no one other than Tiffany..who is now completely struggle in the dark. Upon knowing that she has become blinded..Tiffany was trying to adapt herself..even though deep in her heart she struggle with frustration over the fact that she can no longer pursuit her dream..and now her whole wide world is completely pitched black..Deep in her heart she never lose hope and pray that there might be a day that she will be able to see again...Whenever Taeyeon or Yoona visited her at the hospital she always try to smile and keep on saying that she is ok with her current situation…but both of them know that Tiffany is not as bright as she always does…and they know that she suffers deeply from this accident…even though her body is unharmed…and yet unable to see…is something that sadden them even more.. It is just another day that Tiffany spends her time silently in her room…at the hospital..she hears someone enter the room..and thought that Taeyeon must have come to visit her again like always..

"Taeyeon?" Tiffany asked, but there is no answer

"Yoona?" Tiffany asked again.. but still there is no one answer…only the sound of footsteps is telling her that someone is coming closer and closer to her, which makes her curious..

"..Taeyeon?..Yoona? This is not funny" Tiffany said as she begin to fear that someone unknown to her has come into the room..normally when doctor or nurses come in to check her up..they normally come as a group..and if it is Taeyeon or Yoona..they would probable answer her…

Then Tiffany could feel a gentle touch on her hand..and she startle with surprise..however this person took a her hand and caress it so gentle that somehow remind her of Yuri… even though it has been a long time since they met each other or even this close to each other..she still could remember the feeling…

"Yuri?… Is that you?" Tiffany asked, but still no answer

And slowly Tiffany could feel the hand that has hold hers slowly let go.. She heard the footsteps begin to walk away… It makes her even more curious of who…is that person…but in her heart she was certain…that the person is definitely Yuri… even though..she knows that it might sound delusional..

"Are you sure you want to do this?" Jessica asked as she is now in Yuri's apartment

"Why?" Yuri asked as she looks at Jessica

"Do you really want to leave..everything?" Jessica asked

"I'm not leaving anything… I'm just doing the right thing" Yuri said

"Right thing?" Jessica asked

"Yes.. Right thing" Yuri simply replied as she look at her camera and weakly smile before she put it back into her camera bag…and place it into her big brown box..

"I don't see how doing this..is a right thing" Jessica said as she looks at Yuri and shakes her head

"It is a right thing.. Trust me… I never be so sure in my life like this before" Yuri said as she close the box and seal it completely..

Jessica did not say anything and in her mind..she know this is not right.. she does not like Yuri's decision at all..She lets out a sigh and just simply look at Yuri packing all her things away..except her photo albums. Yuri looks around her room one more time.. everything is well pack…everything is ready…she is ready…

When all the hope seem to frail for Tiffany…suddenly there is a little strand of hope left for her…when she finally informed to have her cornea transplant..from an unknown donor.. The thought of be able to see again excite her…and make her happy once more…not only her but Taeyeon's heart begin to has some hope…to convince the management company to have some faith in Tiffany…and they are willing to wait to see whether or not…Tiffany will be able to recover and continue on to be one of their biggest success… All their hope lies with one important surgery…with a cost…of someone's sacrifice…

After the surgery…Tiffany was soon recover…and be able to see again…never know who is the donor…She just grateful..that she has regain her sight again..however…doubtfully she wants to know who is the donor..she just wants to thank that person..even if that person is dead…but whenever she asked her doctor or the nurses…all the answer she get is that the donor does not want her to know…and it is the hospital's policy to respect that request.. Her fans are congratulating with joy since their lovely star has come back and the entertainment industry regard her as the living miracle..but she knows best that it is not a miracle..someone must have done this for her… She knows that deeply in her heart..

One day Tiffany received an invitation to go to a certain event…which surprises her very much.. The even is none other than the first exhibition of Kwon Yuri's photos… Despite the fact that they did not keep in touch for years since the last day they spent together at Namsan Tower… In her heart there is a hesitation…not knowing what to do.. A part of her want to goes to the event with a little hope to be able to see Yuri again…Another part of her is afraid to see Yuri again… but somehow..she decided to attend the event…not caring about the result of meeting Yuri again…When she first enter the gallery she find many marvelous photos that Yuri has taken over the years..from many parts of Korea, Paris and New York.. but there is one photo that remain hidden under a curtain..waiting for the actual opening of the even to reveal it.. She only sees the title of the piece…"Star"

"I know many of you might ask why I said this is the first and the last exhibition of her works. I just informed that Photographer Kwon would like to announce her early retirement as a Photographer through this exhibition. This will be the first and the last time that the public will be able to see her works" Sooyoung said

'What..? Retirement..'Tiffany thought to herself

"And also.. I am sincerely sorry to tell you that photographer Kwon will not be with us today due..to some difficulties" Sooyoung said

The crowd begin to whispering to each other as they become surprise by the sudden announcement.. However, the event goes on..and finally the main piece of the even has been revealed… The crowd were left speechless..with a light gasps..as all of them turn to look at Tiffany. Tiffany herself was quite surprise to see the main piece…It was none other than herself…in the photo… It was not her photo from the photo shoot with Yuri.. It was way before that… She never know before..that Yuri has taken her photos prior their first meeting.. She knows the place.. it was Yeouido Park..before she even debut…It was quite embarrassing to see herself in the photo like that…so young and naive..a mere trainee.. but the way that Yuri seem to capture her smile just like what she did in the profile photos..make her feel quite proud to see herself like that..Suddenly the press and reporters begin to surround her and firing questions at her… All she could say is .. she does not know..how or when did Yuri has took that photo…With that the photos exhibition became a hot topic around Seoul…until another hot topic makes front page…

Now in her dressing room preparing to perform her latest musical Tiffany is now reading the news as she finds it quite odd and surprising.. as both Yuri and Jessica seem to have their announcement at the same period of time..which makes her even more curious about the two..

"What is going on with them?" Tiffany said to herself curiously over the news

"Do you think that they're related?" Taeyeon asked

"Isn't it odd.. a big star like her…to suddenly take a break after all these years…and also Yuri.. last time I heard.. she was in New York" Tiffany said she put down the newspaper

"For a star like you.. you seem to keep track of the news quite well" Taeyeon said

"I don't know.. Taeyeon.. even I don't have time to think about her..still whenever I see the news about them.. I couldn't help" Tiffany said as she shrug

"I guess..you never moved on" Taeyeon said knowingly

"Don't even start.. There is nothing to moved on.. since nothing has even begun between me and her" Tiffany said as she looks into the mirror

"Do you still wonder about who the donor is?" Taeyeon asked knowing the look that Tiffany is looking at her reflection

"I wonder about it everyday. Taeyeon.. I want to thanks that person.. I really do" Tiffany said as she looks at Taeyeon..

"Just think of it as a gift" Taeyeon said with a warm smile

"I can't.. I can feel that someone..personally gave this to me" Tiffany said

"Then you're very lucky…Com'on you got a show to perform" Taeyeon said as she lightly squeeze Tiffany's shoulder

"Yeah.. I do" Tiffany said then smile back at Taeyeon before walking out of the dressing room..

The performance went well as always. Tiffany received much praises and interest from the press as usual…everything seems to going smoothly just like the accident never happens.. And like always.. a pink roses bouquet was given to her by the staff…however, the only thing that is different from all the bouquet she has ever received…is that the hand writing changes…somehow Tiffany knows that the card was written by someone else…As she finished her interview and step away from the reporters…she sees Yoona, Seohyun and someone that she is not quite sure of.. She quickly call Yoona and Yoona look back at her at first surprisingly then quickly smile at her..

"Unnie.. I will be back..so stay with Seohyun for a while, ok?" Yoona lightly said to the person next to her

"Ok.. Just go. I will be waiting with Seohyun outside" that person replied

Yoona gave a quick nod to Seohyun then rushed to see Tiffany. Tiffany narrowed her eyes to get a better glimpse of the mysterious person that Yoona just talked to a moment ago.. feeling quite familiar with the figure…as if she has seen that person before..but not quite sure..until she sees Yoona looking at her with a question look on her face

"What are you looking? Unnie?" Yoona asked as she turns around to look at the entrance and see that Seohyun has already make her way out

"Oh.. nothing.. Just curious of who you were with" Tiffany said

"A friend of mine.. Congratulation Unnie.. for coming back" Yoona said as she smile brightly

"Thanks.. but why do you leave so early this time?" Tiffany asked

"My friend.. she's a bit sick.. so we need to leave" Yoona said

"Really? Was it bad?" Tiffany asked

"No..it's nothing much.. just a slight cold.. I'm so sorry Unnie.. I need to go now. Seohyun is calling" Yoona said as she get her cellphone out then look at Tiffany apologetically

"It's ok.. Nice to see you again" Tiffany said as she sees Yoona taking a few steps back

"Nice to see you too" Yoona said with a wide smile then wave goodbye before she turns around and walk out of the theatre

Tiffany let out a light sigh to herself then turns around to see Taeyeon waiting for her then as she makes her way back to her dressing room..she overheard a strange conversation between staffs…

"I mean.. why would a blind person come to see a musical? Isn't that weird?" One of the staff said

"Maybe she just like the songs.. Who knows?" Another staff said

"It's still weird.. When I first saw her I was like.. Why with the sunglasses then I saw the cane and I was like.. oh.. so she's blind.. but heck…she was quite a looker" the first staff said

"I saw her too.. Tall and tanned skin.. I think I saw her somewhere before…" the latter staff said

"Excuse me.. Did you say.. a blind person came to see the performance?" Tiffany asked

"Yes. She was with your friend Yoona" The first staff replied

"With Yoona?" Tiffany asked once more quite not sure that she heard it right

"Yes.. She was with Yoona" The latter staff reassured

"Thank you" Tiffany said as she begin to think back to about the person she just saw with Yoona a moment ago..

"Why do you interest in that blind person?" Taeyeon asked as they continue to walk back to the dressing room

"Yoona..said that her friend..is sick..with a cold..but never mention that she was blind" Tiffany said and look at Taeyeon

"Do you really believe in what those staffs are talking about?" Taeyeon said looking at Tiffany with disbelief

"Isn't it strange that a blind comes to see the show?" Tiffany asked

"They probably just seeing things.. Why would a blind comes to see the show in the first place" Taeyeon asked and look at Tiffany

Tiffany shakes her head lightly as she does not know the answer as well. She then look at the bouquet in her hands once more..then carefully read the card… the message has somewhat changes too…

"Your voice makes you shine like always…I hope you can shine brighter than any stars" Tiffany silently read the message..

'The message..changed..it sounds as if the person who wrote this..can't see me anymore..how strange' Tiffany thought to herself

The next day, while preparing for her performance Tiffany was surprise by the sudden appearance of an uninvited guess… Tiffany gets up from her seat right away upon seeing that very person.. In her casual and yet stylish clothes.. Jessica has appear in front of her without notice… They have met each other quite numerous of times through the events and broadcasting stations…but never ever that Jessica has come to see her like this. Tiffany bow her head to Jessica respecting the fact that she is her Sunbae..

"It's ok. We're around the same age and I don't have much time too" Jessica said as she herself lightly bow her head

"What do you mean?" Tiffany asked as she offers Jessica a seat right next to her

"I come here today because I have something to tell you..but first you need to answer me one question" Jessica said as she lightly shakes her head in refusal to take a seat.. Tiffany looks at Jessica confusedly

"Do you still love Yuri?" Jessica asked and look at Tiffany straight in the eyes

"Wh..what?" Tiffany asked

"Do you love Yuri?" Jessica repeated the question once more

"..I.. I don't see how is this related to.." Tiffany said in confusion

"Just answer me.. I want to know before I tell you.." Jessica said as she looks down at the notebook in her hand

"Tell me what?" Tiffany asked

"The truth.." Jessica answered

"..Truth? About what?" Tiffany asked as she still not quite understand what Jessica is talking about

"I can't tell you.. not until you answer the question.." Jessica said as she looks at Tiffany demanding for an answer

"Why do you need to know my feelings.. since her feelings are probably be with you.. Do my feelings matter?" Tiffany asked still not finding Jessica's question making any sense

"Because her feelings are not with me… Don't you get it.. Now..your answer..please" Jessica said and look at Tiffany

"..I.. I don't know.. We haven't see each other for years.. and she left me.. I..I don't know.. I'm sorry..but that's the answer" Tiffany said still confused and Jessica just simply frown at the answer..she expects more

"You know..she never left you…" Jessica said as she cast a look on the pink rose bouquet, which is now in the vase right next to the make up table

"..That's not.." Tiffany said as she looks at the bouquet as well..still not quite convince by what Jessica just said

"It doesn't matter.. I can't tell you.. but if you're still wonder of what she feels about you..My advice for you is to go and see her at the apartment tomorrow morning.. before it's too late" Jessica said as she walks towards the door

"Wait.. You just..come here to say this?" Tiffany asked

"Yes.. I can't let her do these things anymore.. I hope you follow my advice.. oh.. and take this.. I might not be able to tell you..but this..might probably be able to convince you" Jessica said as she gives a notebook to Tiffany.. She weakly smile

"Read it..and you will know what I mean" Jessica lightly said

With that simply remark Jung Jessica left Tiffany alone in her dressing room..in confusion of what has just happened… She drop herself on the chair behind her…not totally understand by Jessica's words…what exactly did Jessica wants to tell her..then she looks down at the notebook in her hand… with curiosity she slowly open the notebook.. and found Yuri's hand writing on the front page…

"This diary might not has the chance to be with you…but in case there is a change of heart… I hope you enjoy seeing the things I have seen..

Yuri"

Tiffany stare at the page blankly before decide to go through the diary and see that there are photos of the places that Yuri has been.. from Paris..to the countryside of France. The photos that she took while working back in the past few years… Messages written beneath each one of them…as if Yuri was trying to written them to her while she was away.. Tiffany amazed by how much Yuri was thinking about her that she has written such a diary and as she turns page after page…she could not help but feel sorry towards Yuri..for thinking that she has been left behind..when the one who actually leave Yuri…is her.. With that thought tears begin to well up in her eyes…

"I know you probably like Paris.. So many places to shop.. So many beautiful things.. to see.. I wish I could share this with you" Yuri's message written under the photo of herself with the city of Paris as a background

"I never thought that New York would be such a noisy place… but I found it very interesting.. What do you think?" Another message written under the picture of Yuri at Time square

"I hope you will make it here.. You know this place, right?" Another message written under the picture of the sign of the Broadway street

Then slowly and slowly as each page goes on and on… Tiffany finally reaches the last page… It was her photo…the same one that was shown in the exhibition…however, it is not well stuck on the page unlike the other ones before it… as if this photo has been place in the notebook..as if Yuri has kept it in here for herself to see. Tiffany look at the photo then as she look at the back she finds another message..written on it but not quite intentional like the ones before..as if Yuri just absentmindedly wrote it on..

"I miss you.." With that simple and short message Tiffany's tears begin to roll down her cheeks…

Now standing in front of the apartment that she was once visit almost three years ago… She begin to remembered of how she was back then…and how that day went by… Today is totally different.. she is no longer a no name actress…comes to thank a photographer, but somehow.. her heart still remain the same.. The feeling of excitement and anxiousness to be able to see her again..begin to make her realize that no matter how many years have gone by… or how much she may think that she has forgot about Yuri… but her feelings deep inside..still remain the same.. now she knows the answer to Jessica's question… She is indeed still have feelings for Yuri.. With a deep breath Tiffany prepare herself to face with all kind of situations…and press the door bell..while waiting for the reply anxiously… Finally the door opens…and Yuri is now standing in front of her… Tiffany let out a weak smile…thinking that Yuri..would at least be happy to see her..after all these years…

"Sica? Why are you here so early?" Yuri asked

Tiffany was shocked by the question…what does she mean by Sica… Is she referring to Jessica..and if so.. why? She obviously not Jessica. Tiffany feels slightly hurt by the question and thought that Yuri must have play some pranks on her.. but then she see Yuri looking around confusedly as if… she could not see… then Tiffany's eyes begin to look at Yuri more clearly…and see what Yuri has in her right hand..and lightly gasp with disbelief

"It can't be.." Tiffany lightly said to herself

"If you're not Jessica..then.. Yoona? Seohyun? Guys..? Are you playing the door bell prank on me again?" Yuri asked as she begin to blindly reaches out for someone in front of her and Tiffany taking a few step back..

"D..don't move away.. Who are you?" Yuri asked as she finally grasp on Tiffany's hand

Tiffany froze and look at Yuri.. completely speechless.. When did Yuri become blind.. she asked herself… then she recalled of what the staffs said on her first night of performance.. A blind person came to see her show.. and she was with Yoona..

"Tall and tanned skin.." The staff's description..did match Yuri.. Tiffany reaches her hand out to touch Yuri's face and look at Yuri's eyes..knowing that she cannot see..

"Wh...What happen to you?" Tiffany asked

"This voice.. Tiffany?" Yuri asked in confusion

"Why..how..?" Yuri asked not fully understand why Tiffany is here in front of her.. since she has told everyone not to tell Tiffany about her..

"Answer my question first.. What happen to your eyes?" Tiffany asked as she can see Yuri suddenly froze and take a deep breath

"Why don't we go inside?… Someone might see you" Yuri said before letting Tiffany go

Tiffany looks at Yuri confusedly as she see how Yuri blindly walks herself into the room and finding the couch by using the cane in her hand. Tiffany closes the door behind her and get a good look of the apartment… The book shelf that used to has books and photo albums is now empty as well as other things around the room…as if Yuri is planning to move away.. Tiffany then silently take her seat near Yuri…

"Now.. can you tell me what happened to your eyes?" Tiffany asked as she looks at Yuri worriedly

"You don't need to know" Yuri said

"Why?.." Tiffany asked, but Yuri never answered

The silent between her and Yuri begin to make her realize the obvious… She thought back of when she was at the hospital.. the mysterious visitor that she has always been curious about…along with the fact that the donor wants to remain anonymous..the fact that Yuri announced her retirement… She let out a light gasp…not wanting her thought to be reality..

"It..can't be.." Tiffany said

"Don't tell me.. that you.. you…are" Tiffany said in disbelief as Yuri's silent answer it all..

"Why… Why did you.. Your eyes.. your work…" Tiffany said as her tears begin to well up upon knowing that her thought has finally become a reality.. She begin to let out a light sobbing sound

"Shh.. It's ok.." Yuri said as she could hear the sobbing and blindly reaches out for Tiffany's face..and lightly wipe the tears away

"How..can it be ok.. It's not ok…" Tiffany said still looking at Yuri in disbelief

"It's ok.. I know that you will see many good things..with them.. people smiling..and happy because of you..because you have become their entertainer..just like what you alway dream of" Yuri said as she weakly smile

Tiffany look at Yuri with mixed feelings..of sorry, grateful…and guilt.. She never thought that Yuri would sacrifice this much for her.. After all these years she thought that Yuri left her behind and Yuri's feeling was not real or even for her.. She thought that Yuri was just playing with her feelings…and yet after all these years… after the accident… the one that given her a second chance was no one other than Yuri… Tiffany looks into Yuri's eyes… that are now staring back at her blankly.. she knows that Yuri could not see her..but that way that Yuri is looking at her is still the same.. warm and gentle… Tiffany reaches her hand out to touch Yuri's face as she lightly caress Yuri's cheek….she should have known… she should have known better.. She never thought that Yuri would love her like this.. she felt thankful but still very sorry.. Yuri could sense that Tiffany is now looking at her with sorrowful eyes..

"You don't need to feel sorry for me.. It's my decision..and I don't regret it.. I.." Yuri said but then Tiffany lightly put a finger over her lips and shush her

Then Tiffany lower her hand before placing her lips lightly against Yuri's. Yuri was caught by surprise but then lightly smile and kiss back. The kiss is as gentle as it ever was, just like their first kiss…the only thing that is different is that the kiss has become more passionate than it ever was..and they both can feel that they are indeed miss each other…As they slowly pull away from each other.. Tiffany could see that Yuri's eyes become a little teary..and she let out a weak smile..before she lightly wipe the tears away…

"Can you do one more thing for me?" Tiffany asked as she look at Yuri

"Sure" Yuri replied

"Can you stay with me?" Tiffany said

Yuri lets out a light sigh… this is not what she has in mind… Her plan was to leave Seoul by the end of this week with Jessica… She never thought that Tiffany would come to see her.. she thought that everybody will let her has her way… but she thought wrong..after all someone has intentionally trying to stop her from doing things her way.. and she knows that it must be Jessica.. She knows that Jessica did not like the idea from the beginning…and she is quite thankful..for what Jessica did.. Yuri take a deep breath before she smile… if anyone could stop her from going to New York…it will be no one other than Tiffany..

"Do you want me stay?" Yuri asked

"Yes.. and never leave too" Tiffany said

"Even I might become your burden?" Yuri asked

"You will never be my burden" Tiffany said and lightly squeeze Yuri's hand in reassurance

With that Yuri let out a wider smile…the slowly nod her head in agreement.. as Tiffany lightly pull her into a hug.. Yuri slowly close her eyes and hug back.. She has been running away from this embrace…for far too long and she knows best that this time..she could not run away anymore.. she knows that this time.. Tiffany will not let her go.. and her heart is also forbid her to run away…

"Unnie.. Why do you always come to see her perform? When you can't see?" Yoona once asked Yuri

"Even my eyes are blinded..but I still can see her..She's a star after all" Yuri replied simply with a smile...
