Chapter 1 

As a photographer.. Kwon Yuri prefers the silent of the night and shining lights in Seoul. She found it very soothing and somehow the cold wind makes her feels a little peaceful. As she walks through the Yeouido Park, where she usually comes for relaxation. She pick her camera up and looks through the lens as she pan along the place she finally stop when she notice a young girl around her age standing under the streetlight.. without knowing the reason she press the shutter button and taking a few shots of the girl…just by looking how the girl smiling happily simply just make her glow with happiness and Yuri could not help but smile… This girl's smile is indeed attract her attention… She walks closer to the young girl and overheard that the young girl is in fact practice her acting and singing ability..

'So she wants to be a musical star' Yuri thought to herself as she sighs

Yuri turns look up and could see a Billboard above her...a shining star is up there with her signature blonde hair…Yuri sighs to herself once more.. She just hope that the young girl can achieve her dream just like the star…that she once knew…

"You better watch what you're wishing for…" Yuri silently said to herself as she finally takes her leave

A few years passed by… Never thought that there will be a day for her to meet the young girl again… Yuri nearly forgot about that encounter and what left for her is only the few pictures that she took that day to remind her how beautiful that girl was… her smile shines like a jewel… Yuri smiles as she looks at one of the pictures that she took… the young girl is definitely beautiful..and she is definitely shines…so she playfully thought to herself…about the young girl she saw… perhaps the girl has already become the star..or perhaps..she might takes the different route in life. With that thought she let out a light chuckle as she place the picture back to where it belongs and finally close the small album. She looks around the room once more and place the album back to the shelf. She is once again leaving for another long trip to the countryside for her project. Then as soon as she was about to leave…her phone ring and she pick it up right away…since it is her best friend and dongsaeng Yoona…

"Yuri Unnie!" Yoona lively greeted her

"What's up Yoong?" Yuri asked as she carries her backpack and walks to the door

"I got a favor to ask…" Yoona said with her pleading voice

"..Why do I get the feeling that this is not going to be good…" Yuri said as she drop her backpack down

"…Unnie.. Can you please fill in for me…just for today..?" Yoona asked

"…For you.. to shoot what?" Yuri asked back

"A..new about to debut.. actress.." Yoona replied hesitantly

"You know the answer.. Find someone else" Yuri said right away

"I already tried…well you see.. today…there's a premiere..and all the photographers in the industry went there…" Yoona said

"…So you're going to ditch the young actress…and be a paparazzi?" Yuri asked

"Nooo.. They just called…and want me to be their photographer for the event… You know.. it's Jessica unnie…new movie" Yoona said in her overjoyed voice, which makes Yuri froze right away upon hearing the name…of the certain someone

"..Oh.. I'm sorry.. I shouldn't have said that" Yoona said as she realized what she has just said

"…Just tell me which studio..you're suppose to go… I will do it.. Not for you.. but for that young actress's sake.. I don't want her to feels bad.. Aish.. Yoong.. You better buy me a nice dinner" Yuri said as she sighs

"Are you really going to do this?… Wow.. Thanks Unnie! I will text you the address" Yoona said as she finally hangs up the phone

Yuri sighs to herself as she pick up her motorcycle's key and grab her camera bag that is along side her backpack and took her leave while looking at the address that Yoona just sent to her. It does not took Yuri long to arrive at the studio. She walks right in without any hesitation..as she just wants this to be done and over with.. As she opens the door she finds the staff looking at her dumbfounded..

"Who are you? You're not photographer Im" The female staff said..apparently she seems to be the manager of the young actress

"I'm here to do the shoot instead of her" Yuri simply said as she walks in totally ignore the staff

"I don't think you can just do that" The staff said once more

"Look. Yoona is busy today. She really can't be here. So I'm here instead of her. Understood?" Yuri asked as she looks at the staff annoyingly

"Don't you go understood with me.. Our company hired Photographer Im because she's photographer Im.. not some no name photographer like you" The female staff said

"Right.. so you would prefer no photographer to take the profile pictures for your little star then.." Yuri said as she rolls her eyes


"Ho..w" The female staff was about to said more but then the other staff comes over to stop her, apparently she seems to be the superior of this female staff even though she is pretty much shorter

"Watch your mouth there… She's Photographer Kwon.. It's an honor already that she's here" The other staff said as she looks at Yuri

"What? Photographer Kwon? I never heard of her before Taeyeon Unnie" The female staff said

"Of course..you wouldn't heard of her since she stop working for the entertainment industry and go to the arts… She was the one that took Jung Jessica's profile photos back in the days.." Taeyeon explained as she looks at Yuri, who is now telling the other staffs to prepare the shooting set

"…You mean… the Jung..Jessica.. The famous.. Jung Jessica?" The female staff was in shock as her jaw dropped

"Yes..and you will no longer be taking care of her anymore.. I will inform the company that you need to improve on your attitude.. You cannot said things like that to photographers..even if they are no name.. Just like today.. you better be thankful that Photographer Kwon is not such a person, who holds on to reputation and such" Taeyeon said as she lightly shakes her head at her junior

"Can I have the model out here? Is she ready or still in prep?" Yuri turns to asked and look at Taeyeon

"I will check her out for you. Photographer Kwon.. It's an honor for having you here with us" Taeyeon said

"No need for the sweet talk.. I just come here because Yoona asked me to" Yuri said and Taeyeon just smile back at her.. she have heard that Yuri is pretty much a blunt and honest person

But before Taeyeon could go to the dressing room, the young actress has already makes her way out. Yuri turns to see who is her model and quite taken back by the sight she sees. The slender figure with the long dark brown hair frame her small face making her white skin become more appeal and her eyes that shine like jewels makes Yuri smile..as she recognize such features.. Still could not quite believe that this is true…but she really does resemble the young girl that she accidentally met in the Yeouido Park that day. Yuri lightly smile to herself as she sees the young actress bows in front of her.

"Hello..I'm Hwang Tiffany.. Nice to meet you..please take a good care of me" Tiffany greeted as she brightly smile to all the staffs then at Yuri

"Nice to meet you too. Now..let's begin" Yuri said as she point Tiffany to the shooting set

Tiffany lightly nods and hesitantly look at Taeyeon for an answer, but Taeyeon just simply smile at her and nods to tell Tiffany that she should just follow what Yuri said. Tiffany is still confuse and begin to pose for the shooting anyway. She tries very hard to do what she was told by Yuri, but her dress is making her find it hard to pose and Yuri notice that too. Yuri stop the shooting for a while and look at how the dress does not seem to fit well with Tiffany's character and let out a light sigh..

"Can you change her dress.. maybe just let her wear what she usually wear…This does not seem like her at all" Yuri said as she turns to look at Taeyeon

"What? But it's her concept" The female staff begin once more

"It's her concept? or your company concept?" Yuri asked as she glared at the female staff

"That.." The female staff suddenly at the loss of words

"Just make her change and we will take a ten minutes break, while waiting" Yuri said as she turns off her camera and walks over to the computer monitor to check the photos that she taken so far and found that only a few is usable..

"Taeyeon.. Who is she?" Tiffany asked as she walks back to the dressing room with Taeyeon

"She's Photographer Kwon" Taeyeon shortly answered

"Who?" Tiffany asked as she walks into the dressing room

"Photographer Kwon.. You do know Jung Jessica, right?" Taeyeon asked

"Of course" Tiffany said

"She's the one that did the profile pictures for Jung Jessica" Taeyeon said

"Really?" Tiffany asked

"Yes.. It's an honor for you to have her as your photographer today" Taeyeon said

"But she seems.. to be only around my age.." Tiffany asked as she begin to get change

"Well..she is.. but her talent is already beyond her years..Jung Jessica's profile photos make her famous…but something happen afterwards…she decided to never work in entertainment industry..ever again" Taeyeon said as she hands Tiffany her clothes which is simply a pink t-shirt and a skinny jeans

"I never sees Jessica's profile photos before. Are they that beautiful?" Tiffany asked

"They were very well taken.. Fill with natural charms of Jessica… and you can feel how much the photographer loves her.." Taeyeon said

"Excuse me? Photographer loves her?" Tiffany asked to make sure that she was not just heard things

"Oh.. I mean the way you feel just by looking at them. If you see the photos you will agree on what I said. Jessica was smiling naturally and her eyes fill with such happiness… As if she wasn't there to take her profile photos…but more like…" Taeyeon said as she begin to trailed off since she could not find the right word to describe

"Like what?" Tiffany asked as she check herself in the mirror and fixes her hair a little

"Like those pictures were meant to be their personal memories.." Taeyeon said after a while of thinking

"You mean.. like they were dating?" Tiffany asked in surprise as she turns around to look at Taeyeon..she never thought that the famous actress like Jung Jessica would have some kind of past like this..

"I don't know about that.. I don't think it's possible. Anyway.. let's go back. She's probably waiting" Taeyeon said as she open the door for Tiffany

And Taeyaon was right. Yuri is now ready and waiting behind her camera looking down at her watch checking the time. Tiffany looks at Yuri and feels quite sorry..for her to have someone like Yuri to take her photos.. she really is lucky..but there is something that is making her took an interest in Yuri..not just her looks..but her eyes that seem to be kind and serious at the same time that makes Tiffany finds Yuri quite mesmerizing…

"Good. This is more like.. you" Yuri said as she looks at Tiffany with a smile on her face

"You mean she looks normal?" The female staff begin to open once more

"That's what I want her to looks like" Yuri said as she turns to look at the female staff once more

"Why making her looks like someone else… when she already shines like a jewel.." Yuri added as she smiles at Tiffany

Tiffany froze at Yuri's words and begin to feel her face becomes hotter because of the sudden compliment. She shyly walks into the shooting set and became so awkward that she does not know what to do.

"But I thought her concept is to looks like Jung Jessica" The female staff silently said to Taeyeon..but unfortunately Yuri overheard them and let out a light sigh as she looks at them

"She's obviously not Jessica.. and let me tell you one thing.. before Jessica become like whatever you see her now.. she never was like that before. So stop thinking to be like her.. or trying to make your star becomes like her since no one can be her" Yuri said as she turns to the other way before taking in a deep breath and calm herself down..

"What's up with her.." The female staff said to Taeyeon

"What did I tell you earlier? I told you to watch your mouth, didn't I?" Taeyeon asked

"What? She's just a photographer…what's with her attitude" The female staff said

Taeyeon sighs as she looks at the female staff then shakes her head before looking at the shooting set, where Yuri is now taking photos of Tiffany. She can see how Tiffany became a little more comfortable in the shooting..she can poses more confidently and somehow…just like Yuri said..she looks like herself..

"Just don't force yourself to smile.. even though it's make you look cute" Yuri said as she step away from the camera

"Smile..when you feel like doing so.. Pose according to your emotions.. Good.." Yuri added as she looks through the lens once more and took a few pictures

"What kind of music do you like?" Yuri asked as she steps away from the camera once more

"How.."Tiffany was about to asked but Yuri just ignore her and turns to Taeyeon

"Can you bring her mp3 player here?" Yuri asked

"Sure.." Taeyeon replied but not sure what is it that Yuri has in mind

"Good.. I want you to have fun during the shooting. I can see that you're quite nervous in front of the camera" Yuri said as she kindly smile at Tiffany

"I'm sorry.." Tiffany said felt quite embarrass at Yuri's comment

"Don't be.. All rookies have the same dilemma" Yuri said as she walks closer to Tiffany

Tiffany is quite surprise to see Yuri walks towards her…somehow with the way that Yuri is looking at her making her froze and stay very still. Yuri just lightly smile at her and she could feels her heart beat a little faster… she never felt like this before..especially with a girl.. but there is something about Yuri's eyes that makes her feel this way..with the way Yuri is looking at her makes her feels like she is younger than Yuri…even though they are about the same age…who knows maybe she might be older than Yuri. She flinches a little when Yuri reaches her hand towards her and she closes her eyes afraid of what Yuri is about to do.. but when she slowly open her eyes she finds Yuri fixing her hair lightly.. Tiffany almost forgot that they are in the shooting studio when she finds how close Yuri is now.. She finds that Yuri is a very attractive person…her presence alone can makes anyone falls for her..she sees Yuri's lips curve up into a weak smile as she lightly run her hand through Tiffany's hair and all Tiffany could do is looking at the person in front of her with curiosity…for a person that is so blunt and honest with her words..she is one kind person.. Tiffany can feel it through how Yuri is acting towards her…

"You don't have to act like someone else.. Just be you.. and stay true to yourself" Yuri said lightly as she cast her eyes to look at Tiffany's face

"Remember what I said…you can act as someone else on the stage or in front of the cameras.. but stay who you are.. don't let anyone changes you" Yuri said as Tiffany could see that somehow Yuri's eyes sadden as she utter those words

Tiffany looks back at Yuri with curiosity over her words…somehow she could feels that Yuri knows someone that went through what she just said.. and that someone is very precious to her… With that thought Tiffany could not help but be more curious..of who is Yuri is referring to..

"Let's get back to the shooting.. be yourself, ok?" Yuri said as she lightly pat on Tiffany's head trying not to ruin her hair..

Tiffany lightly nods..as her eyes follow Yuri still curious of why Yuri would be this kind towards her.. she sees Yuri receives her pink mp3 player from Taeyeon and she heard Yuri's light chuckle as she walks towards the corner of the studio, where the speaker is and connect her mp3 player. She can see Yuri shuffling through her songs and finally she played one of her favorite songs, which makes her smile automatically. Yuri turns around to see Tiffany's reaction and quite satisfy to see that Tiffany is now smiling a little brighter and more naturally.

"So you like this song…Good" Yuri said as she walks back to her camera

Then they continue the shooting and Tiffany could feels more confident as time goes by as Yuri gives her directions for her poses and expressions. Yuri smiles to herself as she could see how Tiffany seems to shine brighter and brighter as the shooting continues and could not help but have a little fun in this photo shoot. It has been a long time for her to work in the studio…Through out the shooting Yuri would take a little 5 minutes break, so that Tiffany is not too worn out and also use those breaks as opportunities to change the films. Then finally Yuri took her last photo and call it a wrap. Once she said that the same female staff walks over to her right away.

"Can I take a look of your photos?" The female staff asked even thought it may sound polite but the way she said it and the look she cast on Yuri makes her feels like she somehow being insult…

"Sorry.. I can't since I used a film camera, not a digital one" Yuri replied as she smirk

"But I thought you did the first photo shoot with the digital camera.. I saw you check the photos on the computer" The female staff said as she points at the computer not far away

"I did.. but I changed the camera during the 10 minutes break" Yuri said as she walks passed the female staff to begin packing her stuff

"Why did you change it… Now when are we going to have those photos.." the female staff begins to whine

"I have enough with you. Mind your attitude here and could you please be more respectful towards other professions. If you continue to be like this.. I don't think you are right to be in this business" Yuri said as she turns around and look at the female staff from head to toes

"What.." The female staff said her anger begin to boils as her face redden

"I will send the photos to you next week. Is that ok?" Yuri asked Taeyeon as she totally ignore the female staff

"Yes. That will be great. Thank you very much for your time" Taeyeon said politely

"It's ok and very nice to meet you. Tiffany. I wish you a very successful career' Yuri said as she pick up her bag and look at Tiffany

"Thank you for your hard work" Tiffany said as she bow

"It's ok. Thanks for your hard work too. I hope you have fun with today's photo shoot" Yuri said as she lightly smile

Tiffany smiles back and nods then Yuri just wave her a farewell then took her leave. Tiffany's eyes follow Yuri until she cannot see her anymore then lightly sighs to herself… not knowing the reason why..but her heart begin to feels somewhat attaching towards Yuri already. Taeyeon looks at Tiffany and smile knowingly before lightly pushes Tiffany to turns around and goes back to the dressing room…

Yuri finally arrives back at her apartment she place down her camera bag on the couch before she sits next to it. She lets out a long sigh.. it has been a long time that she accept this kind of job… She closes her eyes..and let out a weak smile.. She is truly beautiful..Yuri thought to herself.. She is truly a star just like someone she knows… just like that day when she took those photos for Jessica… Just like that.. Yuri let out another sigh as she slowly open up her eyes to stare at the blank white ceiling… she blinks a few times before she get her cellphone out of her pocket and press dial… before she place the cellphone on her right ear..waiting for someone to pick up her call…

"The number you dialed…cannot be connect..please try again.." The auto machine answered her and Yuri just place the cellphone down..

"Why..I wish to hear your voice when I know..that you will never pick up my calls…" Yuri said as she left the cellphone on the coffee table and pick the camera bag beside her then walks away…

A few days later Yuri is working in her personal dark room that she built in her apartment, so that she can work whenever she wants to and can spend as much time as she pleases. She is now developing some of the photos that she has selected from the developed negative that she did a few days ago. She looks down at the photographic developer tray she can see Tiffany's face slowly reveal on the paper and lightly smile as she carefully use her plastic printing tong for developer to pick the photo up and place it into the stop bath tray. She waits for fifteen seconds and use another printing tong to pick it up and place it into the fixer tray. Then lastly she put the photo into the water tray that has water flowing all the time to make sure that the photo will be absolutely clean from the fixer. As she about to turn to her work station to print another photo she heard her door bell rings. She sighs to herself and walks out of the dark room… The bell continues to ring as she walks towards the door…She found it quite surprising for someone to visit her at this time…normally she does not has any guests…and as soon as she opens the door..she became even more surprise when she finds Tiffany standing in front of her.. She stare at Tiffany blankly..not knowing why the person in front of her is here, but at the very least she let that person into the apartment since the weather outside is quite cold and before she could ask anything… Tiffany has already begin to explain her visit..

"I just want to thank you personally.. since you took my profile photos.. So thank you very much, Photographer Kwon" Tiffany said as she bow her head to Yuri

"it's Yuri.. you can call me that. Cakes?" Yuri said as she can notice the box in Tiffany's hands is from a famous cafe

"Yes.. I thought it would be nice… I heard that you normally don't take this kind of job" Tiffany said

"It's nothing.. Yoona and I are quite close..so" Yuri said as she rubbed the back of her neck…felt quite speechless…

"No.. really.. I know that she went to the famous premiere that day…and she just told me that you went on that day just because you didn't want me to feel bad.. I'm just thankful for that" Tiffany said as she looks at Yuri with sincerity

Yuri let out a light sigh before walks to the kitchen as Tiffany follows her, Yuri washes her hand and turns around to open the cupboard above her but find Tiffany instead..Tiffany froze right away since they are so close to each other…perhaps a little too close.. Yuri let out a light cough before open up the cupboard and pull out a few small plates then some tea cups. Tiffany lightly step aside and shyly place the cake box on the kitchen patio and look at Yuri, who swiftly grabbing some teabags out of the cupboard.

"What kind of tea do you like?" Yuri asked

"Anything is fine for me" Tiffany answered

"Ok.. then" Yuri said as she pick out the earl grey teabags out and place it in the tea kettle

"Let's enjoy some tea with the cake" Yuri said lightly as she waits for the water to boil

Tiffany lightly nods and let out a light chuckle at Yuri's words before she carefully putting the cake on to the small plates for herself and Yuri. Yuri looks at Tiffany find it is quite interesting to see her like this.. She never thought that Tiffany would come to see her like this.. she then think about Yoona… she must know her home address from Yoona.. that girl…. Yuri lets out another sigh at the thought.. She knew that Yoona is also a very honest person..she would tell Tiffany of why she could not be there for the photo shoot…a normal person would not tell..but a person like Yoona she knows..would… As they wait for the water to boil..there it is an awkward silent between them..somehow it became strange for both of them to stay so close together..but not knowing what to say to each other..

"Do you want to see your photos?" Yuri suddenly break the silent, which makes Tiffany startle and looks at her right away

"Did you finish them?" Tiffany asked

"No.. not all of them.. but I got some printed photos" Yuri said as she lead Tiffany to the office

"Why did you use film.. people stop using that already" Tiffany asked as she follows Yuri into the spacious room

"Because It's more human. I don't actually like to use the digital one that much. I still prefer doing things more traditional" Yuri said as she take out the some of the finished photos and put them on the table

Tiffany walks towards the table to get a closer look and quite stun to see herself smiling on each photos, so naturally…almost as if she sees herself in the mirror.. and even she knows that it is her in the photos she could not help but feel mesmerize by how Yuri is able to capture her most natural moments like that.. she lightly pick up one of the photos before looks at Yuri.

"What do you think?" Yuri asked as she lean on the table and smile

"They…look great" Tiffany said even though she only wore a simple t-shirt and a skinny jean…but she in the photos looks so good..she could not believe that these are her photos

"What is better than look great.. do you know?" Yuri asked as she pick one of the photos up as Tiffany looks at Yuri then lightly shakes her head

"That these photos look like you" Yuri said as she smile lightly and compare the photo in her hand with the real life Tiffany

Tiffany finds herself speechless as she looks at how Yuri is now smiling at her..those eyes are once again captivate her and seem to somehow be able to stop the time. She tries to avoid Yuri's gaze by put her interest on the photos..but could not help to feel her cheeks slightly burn from knowing that Yuri is still looking at her.. She then heard Yuri's light chuckle and turn to look at what Yuri is laughing about…

"I will go and see if the water is already boiled or not.. you can stay here and feel free to look around" Yuri said as she left the room

Tiffany lets out a relief sighs to herself..she felt as if her heart was nearly going to stop beating right there.. Why does she feels like Yuri knows her somehow… but then Tiffany thought that it is quite absurd and so she begin to look around the room that fill with many photographic equipments and many photo albums. She walks towards Yuri's desk and found some film negatives as she carefully pick it up towards the window to see the photos… she finds numerous photos of herself…she smiles… even there are a lot of things in the room.. but everything is being organized well and the room looks very clean.. she lightly put down the film negative and let her hand lightly brushes through some of the photo albums on the shelf until one of them falls down. With panic Tiffany immediately pick it up and accidentally sees what is inside…the certain figure inside the photo album caught her eyes…she then lightly open the album to see if the certain figure she just saw…is the same person that she has in mind…or not… As Tiffany looks down at the album her jaw drops as she sees the person in photo is none other than Jung Jessica and to make her even more surprise when she slowly turns the pages she did not see just Jessica's photos but there are photos of Jessica and Yuri so close together…

"You can feel how much the photographer loves her" Taeyeon's words suddenly ring in her ears

"Of course… the..photographer really loves her.." Tiffany said as she looks at the photo that Yuri is hugging Jessica so close and both of them were laughing, while the picture was taken

"The tea is ready…" Yuri said as she enters the room and froze right away as soon as she sees Tiffany holding the album in her hands

Tiffany startles at Yuri sudden entrance into the room and close the album right away..as she tries to put it back to where it was before..but could not since her hands become so shaky due to the nervousness..and afraid of Yuri to be mad at her…

"It…fell off the shelf so I.." Tiffany explained as she tries putting it back on the shelf

"It's ok. No need to explain" Yuri said as she walks closer towards Tiffany and lightly touches Tiffany's hand then successfully putting the album back to where it was

"It always fell off the shelf.. I guess it doesn't like to be put away" Yuri joked as she weakly smile to Tiffany

Tiffany looks back at Yuri trying to figure what kind of feeling Yuri feels right now.. and she could not quite figure that out.. Yuri then suddenly turns around and lead her out of the office to the living room..Tiffany glance back at where the album was place once more.. curious about the relationship between Yuri and Jessica.. They seem close… Are they…Tiffany thought to herself and could not quite find herself to believe that the famous actress like Jessica.. would somehow..has this kind of relationship with a photographer like Yuri… Yuri lets her sit on the couch first before sitting down on the different small armchair beside her and silently they both drink their tea and eat their cakes.. until Tiffany finally break the silent.

"Are you close with Jessica?" Tiffany asked as she put down her cup

"We're just friend" Yuri answered with her neutral tone of voice as if she used to said this line almost 100 times

"But those pictures.." Tiffany said

"They're just pictures…It doesn't matter now" Yuri said as she looks away trying to avoid having her eye contact with Tiffany

Tiffany knows right then that Yuri does not want to talk about this…and stop asking for more..for now she knows that somehow… Jessica and Yuri has some kind of history together..even though it is quite hard for her to believe… Then silent took over them once more…until the thunder roar from outside of the room and Yuri suddenly get up and walks towards her balcony. She open the curtain..and see the heavy rain pour down…

"Did you tell your manager that you're coming here?" Yuri turns around and asked

"Yes.. I told her that I will be here for a short while.." Tiffany said as she get up

"Then I think you better call and tell her that you might have to stay here a little bit longer" Yuri said

"Why? The rain might not last long…. Isn't it?" Tiffany said and walks towards Yuri

"I don't think it's going to stop soon.. It looks like a storm to me" Yuri said worriedly as she lets Tiffany have a look of the down pouring rain

"It really is a storm" Tiffany said as she flinch a little when the thunder strike once more

"It will be a while for the rain to stop.. perhaps..even longer" Yuri said as she sighs

"I better call Taeyeon" Tiffany said

Yuri lightly nods as she can see Tiffany walks away to get her cellphone and dial her manager. Yuri then turns back to look at the rain.. It will certainly takes a long time for the rain to stop.. She can hear Tiffany's conversation with Taeyeon and lightly sigh to herself…somehow it reminding her of the past..the only thing that is different is that the one who is here with her now is not Jessica.. With that thought she looks at how Tiffany walks back and forth in front of her and a scene from the past begin to play in her mind..

"Yes.. I know I have the schedule for later.. I understand that…" Jessica said with a cellphone in her hand

"Ok.. I will go to the company afterwards.. Yes.. Thank you" Jessica said and finally hang up her call

"You need to go..?" Yuri asked with her hands holding two plates full of food

"Yes. I got schedule this evening" Jessica said with a sigh

"Seem like you're becoming more famous" Yuri said as she set down the plates on the dining table

"Of course. Thanks to you" Jessica said with a smile as she walks to the dining table

"Because of me?" Yuri asked with an innocent look on her face

"Because of your photos. I have to correct that" Jessica said as she sits down

"Right.. but before you have the photos.. you need an excellent photographer" Yuri said proudly and sits across Jessica

"Don't be so full of yourself and eat the food" Jessica said as she stuff Yuri's mouth with her spoonful of food

Yuri bite down on the spoon and did not let Jessica to pull it away from her until she grab Jessica by the hand and Jessica looked at her then rolled her eyes before let go the spoon and smile triumphantly at Yuri. Yuri have no choice but to pull the spoon out of her own mouth and chuckle at the sight of Jessica looking at her like a young child.

"You're such a choding sometime" Jessica said as Yuri hands her back the spoon

"I thought you like me being like this" Yuri said as she smile brightly

"I like you being a prankster more" Jessica said

"Then should I buy a cucumber and hid it under your bed or maybe just place it somewhere in the fridge?" Yuri asked as she begin to ponder

"Don't you dare" Jessica shot her a death glare

Yuri laughs and as Jessica about to joined her a phone ring once more and Jessica suddenly get up before whispering to Yuri that she is sorry..and suddenly took her bag and leave. Yuri looked at what happen in front of her..she did not even have the time to say goodbye..all she can hear was the closing door and a long silent with an empty seat across her.. Yuri knew back then.. that this is just a beginning… Yuri then slowly to come back to the present when she over heard the last part of Tiffany's conversation with her manager

"Yes.. I will go back to the dorm as soon as I can. Thank you" Tiffany said as she hang up her phone and looking at it for a while

"You live in a dorm?" Yuri asked as she steps away from the balcony

"Yes. I have always live there. Why?" Tiffany asked

"Then you must be from another country..or somewhere far away from Seoul" Yuri asked as she begin to clean up the empty plates

"How did you know?" Tiffany asked in surprise

"That's what the company usually do..for an oversea artists" Yuri answered simply

"Did Jessica lives in the dorm too?" Tiffany asked with her curiosity

"No" Yuri answered with her cold voice as she put the plates down into the sink, turning her back on Tiffany

"Then..where did she.." Tiffany asked as she looks at Yuri curiously

"She has her own apartment in Seoul" Yuri answered as she begin to washes the plates

"Do you know the place?" Tiffany asked since it never been reveal to public before of where Jessica lives and somehow she felt that Yuri must know something

"Why do you want to know? Are you one of her fans?" Yuri asked as she turns off the water and look at Tiffany with her arms cross

"Well.. of course.. Who wouldn't be her fans?" Tiffany asked back

Yuri just sighs to herself and dries her hands with a clean towel nearby. Tiffany is right.. who would not be. Then she stands still at the sink for a moment..as her memories begin to playback in her mind once more…of how Jessica decided to become an actress..

"You're about to graduate soon.. What do you want to become?" Yuri asked as she clean her 18-200mm Nikon lens

"I don't know… Can't I just be around you, while you make a living from being a photographer?" Jessica said as she lies on the couch face down with a magazine in her hand

"Yah.. Are you saying that I should be the one that fed you?" Yuri asked as she carefully put away her lens

"Why not?" Jessica asked as she looks up from the magazine

"Do you know how hard it is for a photographer to get paid? Especially the no name photographer like me" Yuri said as she lightly took the magazine away from Jessica

"I think you could manage just fine. Paparazzi these days seem to get quite a good lot of money" Jessica suggested

"Paparazzi doesn't need photographic skills.. that almost like you think I'm not good at what I'm doing" Yuri said as she put away the magazine

"I'm just kidding.. how about you become a paparazzi when I become a celebrity that would be fun" Jessica joked

"Hmm.. If you're the celebrity then I might really become a paparazzi.. since I would have the exclusive pictures" Yuri joked as she sits down on the floor and face Jessica with a smirk on her face

"And you would sell those pictures and share the money with me" Jessica joked and look at Yuri

"Sounds good to me" Yuri said as she smile before she lean close to Jessica for a kiss then slowly pull away

"You're not consider that for real, right?" Jessica asked as she looks at Yuri who still has a smile on her face

"I'm just joking..but you becoming a celebrity does sound nice. I think you will doing fine. You got the look…the potential.. and you can sing too" Yuri said as she lightly run her hand through Jessica's hair

"I think you're day dreaming. Me.. being a celebrity.. Many people want to become one.. why do you think I can make it..?" Jessica said as she looks into Yuri's eyes

"Because it's you… I know if anyone can do this.. you certainly can" Yuri said as she smile

"If you have such confident in me..then why don't we give it a shot" Jessica said as she smile

And that was the beginning of Jessica's journey to become a star. Yuri back then never knew that it would eventually be the beginning to the end of their relationship. Yuri tighten up her hand at the look back… and Tiffany could notice the change in the atmosphere.. every time when Jessica is being mentioned..Yuri always get affected by it.. She begin to be more certain that Yuri and Jessica used to share some precious feelings towards each other…and with that thought somehow her heart felt quite sad…and hurt… She does not even know the reason..but she felt the pain..by just thinking that how much Yuri must have felt for Jessica to be like this..Of all the sudden.. Yuri turns around and look at her straight in the eyes…and startle Tiffany a little..

"Sorry.. Did I scare you?" Yuri asked as she let out a light chuckle as she sees Tiffany slightly nod

"I didn't mean to.. I just have one question though" Yuri said as she leans on the sink and look at Tiffany

"What question?" Tiffany asked as she looks at Yuri curiously

"Do you have a boyfriend?" Yuri asked

With that one question… Tiffany fell into a confusion mode… why this question of all the sudden… What is the purpose of this question.. she looks at Yuri doubtfully..not truly understand the reason why Yuri is asking her this..but somehow the question makes her feel slightly happy…

"No..Why?" Tiffany answered as she could feel there is some kind of expectation from her heart…

"It's a good thing that you don't.." Yuri said as she let out a smile

"Why do you asked?" Tiffany asked

"Just want to make sure.. An about to be debut star..should not have a boyfriend..or that kind of relationship.. If you have… I would feel sorry for him since..it will be a tough time to go through" Yuri said as she thought back to what happened to her a few years ago..

"Don't you think it will be hard on the star too.." Tiffany said

"It would be..but that is a different matter. The one who waits…and the one that asking for someone to wait.. the time never pass..at the same speed" Yuri said

Tiffany narrowed her eyes and look at Yuri as if she is asking for a clearer answer, but Yuri just lightly shakes her head and let out a sigh before walking towards the couch once more and Tiffany's eyes just follows her.. Yuri then turns around and smile lightly before offer Tiffany a seat at the couch. Tiffany just lightly sigh to herself before walking towards Yuri and take a seat on the couch just like what Yuri asked her to.

"I don't want to argue with that.. I'm just glad.. that you don't have that kind of relationship with anyone.." Yuri said as she pour Tiffany another cup of warm tea

"Why would you be..glad?" Tiffany asked as she looks at Yuri

"I'm just glad for you…that you will have your full focus on your career" Yuri said as she pour herself a glass of tea too

"You seem to know a lot about the entertainment industry.." Tiffany lightly said as she took a sip of her tea

"I don't know a lot.. I just knew..that a relationship for a star.. is a nuisance" Yuri said as she looks at her cup of tea

"Ho..w?" Tiffany asked but stop as soon as Yuri looks at her

"I just knew" Yuri said as she looks at Tiffany as if to ask Tiffany not to ask her anymore and Tiffany understands

Then they shared another long silent Tiffany could not help but look at Yuri, who looks out at the pouring rain. For Tiffany, she finds Yuri very mysterious..and with no reasons..she just feels the need to know more about Yuri.. why would she said those things about relationship…about becoming a star.. why would she sadden every time.. Jessica is involve in the conversation..she just wants to figure all of that out.. Yuri then suddenly turns to look at Tiffany and both of them surprise to have their eyes looking directly towards one another at such close range both of them then pretend to look at a different direction before Yuri get up from her seat.

"Do you want to see me work? Since it might take a while for the rain to stop" Yuri suggested as she rub the back of her neck

"Can I?" Tiffany asked as she get up from her seat as well

"Sure.. But do you afraid of the dark?" Yuri asked

"No..well..not quite" Tiffany answered

"Good then.." Yuri said as she lead Tiffany to her dark room

"I'm going in first, so that you will not be in there alone. It kind of scary for someone, who never be in the dark room before" Yuri said

Tiffany slightly nod..as she sees Yuri enters her dark room and slowly follows Yuri in.. when she is in the dark room..she understands right away of what Yuri means. The dark room is indeed very dark and it is quite scary. She could not see anything since her eyes are not quite use to the darkness yet, she startle a little when she felt Yuri hand on her arm.

"Sorry. Did I scare you?" Yuri asked lightly and that makes Tiffany knows that Yuri is now standing so close to her

"No.. but it really is dark in here" Tiffany said

"It's a dark room. I didn't turn on the safelight..since your photos are done in color" Yuri said as she slowly led Tiffany to her work station

"Then how can you work in here?" Tiffany asked

"I just get used to it" Yuri answered simply

"It's kind of cold in here" Tiffany said as she feels that the room is a little colder than the living room

"Are you cold?" Yuri asked

"A little" Tiffany answered as she lightly rubs both of her arms

"Wait here then" Yuri said as she walks pass Tiffany then Tiffany could hear Yuri grabbing something from the far corner of the room

"Wear this" Yuri said as she place a sweater over Tiffany and make sure that the sweater really wrap around Tiffany's shoulders

"Thank you" Tiffany said lightly

"It's ok. I usually wear it when I feel the cold, but I'm kind of fine with it today" Yuri said as she turn on the light of the enlarger

"That is so bright.." Tiffany said as she sees the sudden brightness of the light from the enlarger

"Oh… Well this is use to project photo onto the printing paper. I need to use this light to see that I have the right photo to print" Yuri said as she shows Tiffany the film strip in her hand that she has mark with the blue permanent marker

"Then I carefully put the film onto the film carrier and make sure that the photo I want to print next is in the right position and at the center..like this" Yuri said as she lightly put the film strip on to the film carrier and make sure that everything is tightly secure and the film is unable to move not even a millimeter

"It does look complicate" Tiffany said

"It is and delicate too, but the result from doing all this.. is priceless" Yuri said with a smile on her face. Tiffany could see Yuri's face clearer now thanks to the light from the enlarger

"What do you have to do next then?" Tiffany asked.. since this is the first time she see the process of printing a photo

"Then I have to make sure that your photo will fit perfectly on the paper that it will be printed on. So I have to move this down a little" Yuri said as she move the loosen the elevation knob down a little before adjusting a few things, which making Tiffany looking at her with more interest

"It looks harder than you think it would be, right?" Yuri asked as she step away from the work station a little and look at Tiffany

"It's kind of fascinating" Tiffany confessed

"It is. That's why I like photography" Yuri said then shrug

"You mean by doing complicated things?" Tiffany asked

"Yeah.. by doing complicated and fascinated things. It will be more fascinating when I place the white paper that seem like it has nothing on, slowly reveal the beauty behind it into that liquid in the tank over there" Yuri said as she points at the developer tank in the sink behind Tiffany

"You don't get what I said, right?" Yuri asked as she can see the questionable look on Tiffany's face

"Yeah.." Tiffany answered

"Fine. I will show you later. Just need to make sure that I have this one well focused first" Yuri said as she grab the focusing magnifier nearby and look through it while adjusting the focus knob. Tiffany lean in a little closer to see what Yuri is doing with interest

"Do you want to try?" Yuri asked as she fine Tiffany lean so close to her

"Can I?" Tiffany asked

"Sure. Just look through here and adjust here. Keep adjusting it until you think what you see is well focused" Yuri said as she took a few steps back and allow Tiffany to look through the magnifier

"Like this?" Tiffany asked as she lean down and continue to adjusting the focus knob little by little

"Yeah" Yuri said as she look at Tiffany and smile to herself

"Do I have to check the other areas too?" Tiffany asked as she turns to look at Yuri

"If you want to" Yuri answered and lean down closely to Tiffany

"Do you think..is this enough?" Tiffany asked as she turns her face a little and surprise to see Yuri's face so close to her now

"A little bit more" Yuri said then place her hand over Tiffany's that is currently on the focus knob as she lightly adjust the focus..not aware the fact that they are now so close together…

As soon as Yuri let go of her hand Tiffany took a few steps back..feeling a little embarrass by the sudden closeness between her and Yuri. She still does not knows why she would be nervous when she is so close with Yuri…but she knows that every time when she is close to Yuri like this…her heart feels as if it is going to stop.. she tries to calm herself down..not wanting to make Yuri knows about that very fact. However, Tiffany froze right away when Yuri turns to look at her since she somehow suddenly step away.. .with only her brown eyes reflect by the dim light from the enlarger Tiffany could not help but falls for those eyes somehow it alway be able to captivate her.

"Are you ok?" Yuri asked worriedly

"I..I'm fine.. I thought that I might be in your way…that's all" Tiffany said trying to force out a smile

"Oh.. Ok" Yuri said as she blinks blankly a few time before going back to her work

Tiffany lightly sigh to herself thankful for the dark that make Yuri unable to see her face so clearly.. she knows very well that her face must be as red as a tomato right now…since she could feel both of her cheeks burning because of their sudden closeness few seconds ago. Then Tiffany startle once more as Yuri turns off the light and she could hear Yuri opens the drawer under the work station and grabbing something out…by the sound..Tiffany assume that it must be a paper, then she could hear Yuri lift something like a light metal up..

"Sorry for a sudden darkness.. I have to make sure that the paper will not be expose to any kind of light" Yuri said

"It's ok.." Tiffany said

Then Yuri place the paper down onto the baseboard easel, making sure that the paper is place in the correct position and has the ruler on all four corners in order to make a perfect frame that she has already measure. She then adjust the enlarger timer before turns on the switch. Tiffany is surprise once again to see the light being turn on…but it does not last for long and automatically turns off.. She can hear Yuri grabbing the paper out and walks towers the sink. With her eyes getting use to the dark more than the first time she entered the room she can see Yuri's silhouette beside the sink and so, she walks closer to see what is happening. She looks at the paper in the plastic tank and see her picture slowly reveal on the paper..she finally understand of what Yuri has said earlier..it really is fascinating almost like magic to see a completely white paper slowly showing a picture on it.

"Now..this is more fascinating than what you just saw earlier, isn't it?" Yuri said

"It's like magic.." Tiffany said

"It's not.. It's just chemical reactions" Yuri said as she use the plastic tong place by the developer tank to pick the photo up

"So this is why you said using film is more human?" Tiffany asked

"Yes. You get to control every little details that you want to. The machine might do it accurately..but that is no fun..and I think by doing this.. It gives a little more life to the photos. Don't you think? Photographer's heart and soul are now in the photos too" Yuri said as she put the paper into the stop bath tank

"I agree… by seeing you do it like this.. I feel the photos are more than just photos" Tiffany said in agreement

"Photographers are suppose to be able to grasp the best moment of time and place. For your photos..like portrait… Photographer like me..has the duty to capture the best of you..so that these photos can representing you without fail. That is why I choose to use film instead of using digital camera" Yuri said

"Yoona probably do the same" Yuri added

"Do you always have this kind of thoughts when you taking pictures?" Tiffany asked

"Of course. Even for landscape.. I still want to capture the best of its beauty.. Not just the color..but the essence of it. Why?" Yuri asked

"I..I just thought that you're indeed very fascinating" Tiffany said and Yuri just turns to look at her feeling a little awkward to receive such…a compliment

"…Thanks.. No one ever said that to me before" Yuri said as she lets out a light chuckle

"…Do you think I'm weird?" Tiffany asked since she found Yuri's chuckle a little suspicion

"No.. I just thought that you're quite fascinating too" Yuri said as she looks at Tiffany

"…Well Thanks.. No one ever said that to me too" Tiffany said finding it quite awkward for someone to said things like that to her…

Both of them look at each other finding what they have said a little awkward and funny…as they both laugh at the situation. Yuri then put up the photo that she has place in the water tank earlier up to let it dry. Tiffany then walks closer to see the photo that Yuri just put up and feeling more fascinated. To think that each photo has to gone through the same process…She could not help but find that these photos have become more valuable than before…just like Yuri said..for her now..they are no longer just photos..they are her representatives..

Both of them then later spend the next few hours together in the dark room printing the photos as Yuri would teaching some photographic skills to Tiffany from now and then. Since she took notice that Tiffany is quite interest in photography after seeing her print the first pictures and would ask her to try to print one of her photos. Since Yuri found no harms done by letting Tiffany print her own photos. She let Tiffany tries to do all the process one by one with Yuri's close guidance and without knowing both of them slowly grow closer to each other and slowly Tiffany get less and less nervous to be around Yuri and finds that it is indeed very enjoyable to be around Yuri.. even though her heart still skip a beat from time to time when she notice of how close they are.. Yuri counts the number of photos that they have printed so far and decided to stop since the developer itself has become less effective, which means that they have been working for quite a long time. If she wants to continue working then she need to mix another batch and she knows by the number so far..she has done quite numerous for today.

"I think we better clean this up" Yuri said

"Why? I still want to print another one" Tiffany said since she finds this printing process very interesting and enjoyable

"The developer is already worn out, which means that we have spent a lot of time in here" Yuri said

"Really? What time is it now?" Tiffany asked and look around trying to find a clock..but found none

"There is no clock in this room. But we have been in here at least for 2 hours already" Yuri said

"How did you know that?" Tiffany asked

"By the amount of photos that we printed" Yuri said as she points at the finished photos hanging to be dry

"Did you say…at least 2 hours?" Tiffany asked as she realized that she needs to go back to her dorm..and if it is really 2 hours..like Yuri said.. she is so in trouble

"Yeah.. At least" Yuri said

"I have to go now.. Taeyeon will kill me if I'm not back at the dorm yet" Tiffany said as she took off the sweater and gives it back to Yuri

With that being said…suddenly her cellphone rings and Tiffany immediately look at Yuri and Yuri just simply her to the door and lead her out of the dark room. Since it will be risky for her to pick up her phone in the dark room…and ruin all the photos they have printed together so far.

"Where are you now? Do you know what time it is?" Taeyeon's voice can be heard even Tiffany did not open the speaker

"I'm sorry… I'm going back..n.ow.." Tiffany said as she turns around to look at the balcony…and see that the rain is still pouring..heavily

"It's still raining.." Yuri said as she lightly sigh

"Taeyeon.. It's still raining…" Tiffany said

"I will go and pick you up now" Taeyeon said

"But it's raining so heavy..Are you sure?" Tiffany asked

"I need to get you back here even If I have to cross the ocean" Taeyeon said

"Can I talk to her?" Yuri asked as she can hears Taeyeon's every words .Tiffany hesitates for a moment… before handing over the phone..

"Hello?" Yuri said

"Hello.. Photographer Kwon?" Taeyeon said

"Yes.. You can just call me Yuri and I don't think it is a good idea for you to drive at the moment.. The rain is still pouring down heavily. It will be very dangerous to drive" Yuri said with concern as she look out at how the rain still pouring down..more heavily than before

"But.. She needs to be back.. otherwise.." Taeyeon said

"She will be fine. She can stay at my place for the night. The rain would probably stop by the morning and we don't know how late it might be until the rain finally stop" Yuri said as she glancing at Tiffany, who looks at her worriedly

"But..that's.." Taeyeon said a little hesitate since she did agree it is quite dangerous to drive at the moment

"Just trust me...and let her stay here for the night. You can come and pick her up in the morning" Yuri said

"…Well.. then.. please take a good care of her.." Taeyeon said finally gave up

"I will. Just come and pick her up in the morning" Yuri said

"Yes, I will. Thank you" Taeyeon said

With that they both bid each other a farewell then hang up the phone. Yuri turns around to look at Tiffany before letting out a light sigh. She hands the phone back, while Tiffany looking at her as if to ask what did she and Taeyeon said to each other on the phone.

"She will come and pick you up tomorrow's morning" Yuri said and Tiffany just looks back at Yuri…processing on what Yuri just said

"Are you saying…?" Tiffany said

"Yes.. you will be staying here for a night" Yuri said

"But.." Tiffany asked

"The rain is too heavy and if we wait until it stop… it might be a little to late for your manager to drive..or even me" Yuri said

"So..I have to stay here.. with you?" Tiffany asked looking at Yuri with her wide eyes

"Yes.. just for a night, but don't worry I got..a spare room" Yuri said as she pause for a moment

"A spare room?" Tiffany asked

"Yeah.. Just follow me" Yuri said as she led to the room..that she did not open for a while..the room that once belong to a certain someone

Tiffany hesitantly follows Yuri then as Yuri finally stop in front of the room, Tiffany could notice that Yuri took in a deep breath as if she preparing herself for something as she slowly turns the door knob and open the room. When Tiffany walks into the room..she can notice that despite the fact that it is a vacant room…it is pretty much clean and well kept as if the room is waiting for its owner to come back. Surprisingly that Tiffany could not find even one picture of the room owner, but then notice that Yuri has now walks towards the closet and open it up. Tiffany can see from afar that inside the closet there still some clothes that has been folded neatly, which makes Tiffany even more curious..about the identity of the room's owner

"You can use this room for tonight and wear these clothes" Yuri said as she steps away from the closet

"I will go and bring you the new bed cover along with the blanket. Meanwhile,, you can just feel free to look around and make yourself comfortable" Yuri said before leave the room

Tiffany looks around the room…before sitting on the bed. From the look of it she can see that it has been vacant for quite sometime…She still wondering whose room this could be…then the only person came into her mind.. the photos that she saw in the album earlier…could this room once belong to Jessica… Tiffany thought to herself..and it would only make sense since Yuri said that they are friends..and they used to be that close to each other too…the photos did tell her that… Tiffany thought carefully as all the puzzle seems to resolve little by little.. In another room Yuri open up the closet and bring out the bed cover..she stands still for a while…and take her time to look at the fabric in her hands.. It has been a long time..that she has brought this out.. The memories begin to come back to her once more as she lightly brush her hand on the fabric… the thought of how they used to be together... so close together..the smile that she used to see.. the presence she used to had by her side…

"Yuri?" A voice called

Yuri immediately turns towards to the voice owner and for a second there she thought she sees Jessica at her door..but then all she could see is Tiffany standing there at the same place, where Jessica would pop into her room to call her…She looks at Tiffany for a moment..knowing that there is no way that both of them will be alike.. but in her heart…she really wishes that the person who just called her is Jessica… even though it has already been 2 years that she did not see Jessica..or even talk to her..as if they never know each other before…

"Are you alright?" Tiffany asked seeing the way that Yuri seems to staring at her absentmindedly

"I'm fine. Just thinking about something" Yuri said as she tries to force out a smile

"You shouldn't force yourself to smile" Tiffany said as she walks towards Yuri

"Now you're telling what to do?" Yuri asked teasingly

"Just doing you a favor" Tiffany said back with a playful smile

"Do you know that when you're smiling… you have this power to make others smile too" Yuri said as her lips curve up into a brighter smile than the one earlier

"I have heard a few times. Isn't it a good power to have..at least I can make you smile without forcing you to" Tiffany said as she looks at Yuri

Yuri let out a light chuckle at what Tiffany just said. She really suits to work as an entertainer. Yuri thought to herself before hands the bed cover to Tiffany then she turns back to the closet to pull out the blanket. It has been a long time for someone to stay at her place..it has also been a long time since she has company in this apartment.. the place where she has live alone since Jessica left.. Yuri weakly smile to herself..

"Let's go to your room now then" Yuri said as she walks out of the room

"Sure" Tiffany said as she follows Yuri out

Yuri place the blanket on the table nearby the bed and look around the room once more… it has been a while that she did not enter this room..seems like clean lady she hired has been cleaning this room well. It is different from what it used to be… she still remember of how the room would fill with english books and magazines. Her make-up table would have many different kinds of lotions, make ups and perfume.. Yuri sighs..the biggest different of all is that she is not here now..and will not be here again… Yuri lightly shakes her head to stop herself to think about the past… she did that numerous of times today. Both of them help each other to put the bed cover on the mattress and arrange the bed so that Tiffany could sleep here for the night. While Yuri putting on the pillow case, she secretly glance at Tiffany and look at how Tiffany would pout when she tries to put the pillow case onto the pillow. She let out a light chuckle as she can see that Tiffany truly tries every possible way to make the pillow goes into the pillow case..she even tries to forcefully push it in..but every time she does that the pillow always bounce back and Yuri just lightly shakes her head before she finishes her without much trouble. She then silently walks up to Tiffany from the back before placing her hands over Tiffany's, which makes Tiffany turns her head to look at Yuri confusedly as she never notice when did Yuri manage to be behind her and this close to her

"Let me help you with that" Yuri said as she pulls the edge of the pillow case up lightly and let the pillow falls in before giving it a light push

Yuri never notice that her position right now is pretty much as if she is back hugging Tiffany with her light embrace. Not knowing that the person in front of her is now blushing and very much stay still as much as she can. Even though the time they spent in the dark room may have make them close..but Tiffany is pretty much not getting use to the idea of being close with Yuri…especially this close. The hands touching has been fine for the past hours…but the hug that she is having now…is making her heart beat faster than she could possibly ever imagine.. Then she realizes..that perhaps all the nervousness she felt when she is around Yuri…she begin to think that somehow…with somewhat reasons…she has fallen for Yuri's charms…

"There you go" Yuri said as she finishes putting the pillow in perfectly and throw them on the bed before stepping away from Tiffany

Yuri preoccupied herself by spreading the blanket over the bed..and notice that somehow Tiffany seems to fallen into a sudden silent.. she just somehow stands still and Yuri could not help but feels a little worry.. She also notice that Tiffany's face seem to be reddening. Yuri fix the blanket one last time before looking at Tiffany once more… She then slowly make her way towards Tiffany…

"Are you ok? Your face is kind of red…" Yuri said as she lightly place her hand over Tiffany's forehead, which makes Tiffany startle and step back away from Yuri

"N..no.. I'm fine..Really" Tiffany said as she looks at Yuri nervously then quickly look at something else

"Are you sure? You don't seem fine to me" Yuri said quite worry

"I'm fine" Tiffany repeated

"If you said so then.." Yuri said as she lightly chuckle at how odd it is to see Tiffany reassure her like this

"I think.. I better go and take a shower…" Tiffany excused herself, but find herself looking around… not knowing where the bathroom may be..

"The bathroom is over there…and I think you might need this" Yuri chuckled to herself then hands Tiffany the towel from the closet before pointing to the bathroom at the corner of the room

Then Tiffany just silently took the towel and walks to the bathroom without saying much. Yuri's eyes follow Tiffany until Tiffany finally disappear into the bathroom. Yuri lets out a light sigh then rub the back of her neck…she looks at the bathroom door for a while before taking her leave. Inside the bathroom, Tiffany lean her back against the door…still could not believe of what just happen earlier…since she could still feels Yuri's light embrace linger on her skin. Thinking that she might have falls for Yuri…she immediately shakes her head and walks to the sink and look at herself in the mirror

"It's not possible.. I am not falling for her" Tiffany said trying to convince herself

Meanwhile, knowing nothing about her guest for the night..Yuri is now cleaning up her dark room as she clean all the chemical tanks and make sure that she cleans everything well she splashes the water on all the tanks one last time before turning the water off. She then look at the photos that she hung up to make them all dry.. her lips curve up into a satisfying smile. It has been quite sometime that she has spent time with someone in this room other than her usual guest, which is none other than Yoona. It is quite a good experience to share this kind of joy with someone else other than another photographer like she used to share with Yoona. Yuri lightly reaches up to touch one of the photos and look at it admiring for a moment.

"Her smile does makes you feel like smiling" Yuri said to herself as she smile warmly

With that Yuri decide to leave as she check one last time that everything is in its place and there is nothing on the floor or any mess that needs to be clean. She then heads back to her room thinking that she should also take a quick shower before cooking dinner and with that Yuri walks towards her own bathroom and take a quick shower. After a while Tiffany walks out of her bathroom with a towel wraps around her body. She walks to the closet and have a quick look through it since there is nothing much left but a few t-shirts and some shorts. She blinks a few time before selecting what seems to appeal to her most as she notice that there is one pink t-shirt in the closet and a smile came across her face right away… Now dress in a pink t-shirt and a pair of shorts, Tiffany carefully makes her way out of the room and found the empty living room fill with the heavy sound of the rain. She found the place for the first time very spacious…perhaps too spacious for a person to live alone.

"How can she lives in this place alone…It's so lonely" Tiffany said as she looks around then makes her way to the book shelf not far from the couch

Tiffany browse through the books and see that most of them are about photography and many are about arts and landscape. Some of them are magazines that feature Yuri's photos. She carefully pick one of the magazine out and lightly look through it. She looks at the photos that Yuri took and could not help but mesmerize by its beauty. She never thought there is a view like this exist in the world. One of the photos are in the midst of the forest and the autumn colors of red and orange makes her feels so warm, but yet the cold grey sky that reveal through the leaves are making her feels the cold breeze as well. Despite its beauty and composition..Tiffany could sense a strong feeling of loneliness. She understands now why Taeyeon would highly praised Yuri as someone who has the talent beyond her years. She surely has the talent and incredible eyes.

"Do you like them? The pictures" Yuri asked as she leans on the wall next to the couch and smile at Tiffany, also in her grey tank top and a pair of shorts

"..Yeah.." Tiffany answered as she looks at Yuri then back at the magazine in her hands once more

"You seem to be interested in photography. Why don't you become a photographer?" Yuri asked as she walks closer to Tiffany

"I don't think I will be good at it" Tiffany replied then smile before she place the magazine back to where it belongs

"You can try to snap a few shots when you go somewhere and show it to me. Actresses do travel, you know?" Yuri said

"I aim to be a musical actress, not just actress" Tiffany said

"I know" Yuri said

"You know?" Tiffany asked curiously

Yuri never replies to that question and just simply smile at Tiffany before making her way to the kitchen. Tiffany looks at Yuri even more curious…how can Yuri knows…since she never told her..and nearly never told anyone this before except her company and Taeyeon…

"Do you somehow know me before?" Tiffany asked as she walks to the kitchen

"No.. I just met you a few days ago. Why would you think that?" Yuri asked…well technically she did know Tiffany a few days ago…despite the fact that she met Tiffany a few years ago.

"Then how did you know…that I want to be a musical actress…I never said that to anyone…well except a few people" Tiffany said

"I just know. Do you have to know how?" Yuri asked back as she open the refrigerator

"Of course..I don't need to know how..but it just makes me curious…about you" Tiffany said as she narrowed her eyes to look at Yuri as if she is trying to make sure that Yuri is not some kind of scary people

"You don't need to be curious about me. Perhaps you might not know..but I used to work in this industry before. I know how to distinguish between rookies that want to be actress and the ones that want to be just celebrities..and the one who really wishes to fly high. I know people like you wouldn't just aim to be actress and by shuffling through your mp3 I think you do know how to sing" Yuri said even though partly it was a lie..she knew because of the encounter few years ago as well..

"..Just shuffling through my mp3 told you that much?" Tiffany asked feeling a little impress and embarrass at the same time

"You have many different genres of music and someone I know has the same dilemma" Yuri said amusingly

"You mean.. Jessica?" Tiffany asked hesitantly…not so sure that Yuri will answer her or not

"…Yeah… She always enjoy different kinds of music..and she's good at singing. Too bad..that these days…you can only see her act" Yuri said as she sighs

"Sorry to ask this..but are you two…close? I mean..the room that you let me use for tonight..it's her room..Am I right?" Tiffany asked as she looks at Yuri for a reaction then she heard another sigh from Yuri

"It's her room. Originally…this apartment was bought by my parents to let me live in Seoul during my high school years. Jessica and I were closed since we're young so…my parents thought it would be a good idea if we shared this apartment together…so there you go" Yuri explained as she weakly smile at Tiffany

"And she left you here alone?" Tiffany asked feels quite sorry for Yuri

"No.. It's just… It's just doesn't matter now" Yuri said as she turns her back on Tiffany and preparing for dinner

Tiffany knows that she cannot press on any further…normally she would not be this nosy in other people's business…but with Yuri she just seems to have the need to know more… she just somehow become more curious than she has ever been. She just feels like she needs to know more and wanting to get closer to Yuri… with none particular reasons she just feels like she wants to be by Yuri's side…even to her it sounds absurd…but somehow in her heart it seems to make sense…

"Why do you want to be a musical actress? Why don't be a singer?" Yuri asked

"It's just what I'm passionate about. If I tell you that I want to just entertain people…Will you think I'm strange?" Tiffany asked back

"No. Why would that make you strange?" Yuri asked

"I don't know whenever I told this to the staffs..they usually look at me weirdly" Tiffany said

"I guess they just don't know how to react with that. I mean you're suppose to be an actress and yet you told them you want to entertain people.. there are many ways you can entertain people" Yuri said

"I just want to make other people happy. Isn't that enough?" Tiffany asked

"It's more than enough and I think it is a solid goal" Yuri said

"You're the first one to said that" Tiffany said

"Why? People keep telling you to be famous and gain a lot of attention from the public…and becoming the next Jung Jessica?" Yuri said with some irony in her voice

"…How did you know?" Tiffany asked surprisingly

"It's always the same. Rookies that I used to work with a few years back..pursue all I've just said. To be famous.. to be a celebrity..with that they were passionate for quite some time.. then they lost their goals and they forgot where their real potential lies… since all of that is nothing. It comes and it goes. If you ask me why Jessica is still successful until now.. I would say that everything she did..she did it from her heart. People call her Ice Princess…and yet they did not know that her heart is so warm…to the point that calling her Ice Princess is such an irony" Yuri said then lets out a long sigh

"You really know her well" Tiffany said…she might not know Jessica at the personal level, but to heard such thing from an honest person like Yuri…she could not help but believe in those words

"I just used to be close to her..that's all" Yuri said

"From your experience…do you think I will make it?" Tiffany asked

"You will. If you're really passionate at what you're doing" Yuri answered as she turns around and look at Tiffany

"Just like how you're passionate about photographing..right?" Tiffany asked back with a smile

"Yeah.. pretty much like that" Yuri replied with a smile

Then both of them let out a light laughter before Yuri turns back to preparing the ingredients. Tiffany looks at Yuri and smile… for someone who has said so many negative things about the entertainment business…Yuri is also very supportive. Even her words are obviously against the way the business is being done these days..but she still support those who are passionately follows their dreams and that makes Tiffany admiring Yuri even more…which makes her wonder why Yuri decided to leave the entertainment industry. After they finished their dinner, both of them help to clean up the kitchen and the dining table and since Tiffany insist that she would rather be the one who washing the dishes..Yuri could not help but let Tiffany has her way. Later both of them share a small conversation before going back to their rooms and call it a day. Yuri lies on her bed staring at the ceiling as her heart fill with happiness for the first time in a long while…it has been a long time that she has spent days in this apartment alone…she almost forgot how it feels like to share this big spacious apartment with someone… This is partly a reason why she would rather goes on a trip to the country side than stay in Seoul…since all that left for her is this spacious empty room and herself…
