Did the war, which hasn't even started yet, ended in just a blink of an eye? Well, who knows and who cares?

"JESSIIIIIIIIIIII!!!" 

"What?! You're so loud." 

"But you wouldn't wake up."

Stephanie jumped repeatedly on top of Jessica's bed, annoying the girl. 

"Yah! Steph! Go away!!" 

"Nuh-uh!" 

"I swear I will kill Totoro if you won't stop right now." Jessica resorted to her last straw. She was still really tired because Stephanie and Soojung asked her to play with them the whole day and she couldn't even say no because of their aegyos. Just how cruel can they be?

"You won't do that." 

"I will."

Stephanie went to Jessica and lied down beside the sleepy girl. 

"I know you won't." 

Stephanie did the unexpected. She hugged the girl and snuggled her head on the crook of her neck. She then covered both their bodies with a very soft blanket. 

"Yah. What are you--" 

"I'm sleepy. Let's sleep again, Jessi." 

"Hmm."

Stephanie kissed Jessica's cheek before falling into a deep sleep.

"Ouch!" 

Jessica ran to Stephanie's side and examined her fingers. The girl asked Mrs. Jung to let her stir the soup, but unfortunately, her finger got too close to the pan. 

"Tsk. I told you to be careful, right? Now let me kiss your boo boo." 

Jessica blew onto Stephanie's index finger and kissed the burnt finger gently. 

Stephanie blushed really hard so she turned her head sideways to hide it. 

"There. All good. Be careful, hm?" Jessica smiled and patted the girl's head affectionately. 

"Jessi!" 

"Yeah?" 

"Thank you so much." the girl shyly whispered. 

"No big deal! I'll do anything for my Stephanie." 

Jessica then disappeared while a blushing Stephanie was left behind staring at her fingers which was kissed numerous times by the girl that she likes the most.

"Daddyyyyyy!!!!" Stephanie screamed excitedly through the phone. 

"Hey, baby. What is it?" 

"I miss youuuuuuu~" 

Mr. Hwang chuckled, "I miss you, too." 

"When will you be back?" 

"I'll be back next week, Steph. I'm sorry it took so long." 

"It's okay, Daddy. I like it here. Jessi is just so nice to me. And Soojung, too. And Aunt Jung, too." 

"Well, I'll buy them a gift here, then. As a form of thank you." 

"Please do, Daddy! But.."
